Excellente qualité de son et très confortable

The USB wire on the right side doesn't work well for my setup, to start.
The mic is good (thus the 3star review)- let's get that out of the way. Does the rest of the headset merit spending that type of money just for a mic? No.
The headphones are uncomfortable. They are hot, don't cover your ears well, and adjustments are limited for smaller heads.
The sound quality is poor. I tried listening to a variety of music and found that the volume is very low, there is a crackle and the headphones don't have good range separation for bass and treble.
Overall, a very disappointing experience compared to most other brands I've tried, both high and low cost.
Main take away? Don't bother with these unless you really need a mic for the price. There are much better options.

- Lightweight and comfortable to wear
- Premium feeling materials, with lots of soft touch plastics and cushioning
- I like the USB-C interface, but glad there's an option for USB-A for people that don't have that
- Well fitted soft neoprene carrying case
Cons:
- Audio quality all around is really quite meh. Certainly clear, but not what you'd expect given the price of the headset
- Not very versatile in terms of utility, especially considering the price point.
Overall:
Not the biggest fan of this Jabra Evolve2 Headset. While the build quality is decent, and the headset itself feels quite nice, it just doesn't deliver on the core experience for the money. Audio quality all around is not stellar, and the USB interface makes this very limited in terms of what you can use this for - just not very versatile. For the money, I would not recommend.

The Evolve 2 40 are very light and comfortable to wear. Even with my big head, they do not put too much-clamping pressure on my ears. The pads are soft and sit comfortably on the top of my ears. After wearing them for well over an hour, they do get a little hot and sweaty due to the thick faux leather cups. I like that the headphones have clear markings on the earcups indicating the left and right sides for easy identification.
The sound quality on the mic is superb. The voice sounds very clear, rich, and natural. In addition, the mic does an excellent job of drowning out the miscellaneous noise from other sources, such as the TV or a background conversation. Apart from the mic, the headphones sound great too, with music and youtube videos being the same sound quality that I get from my expensive wireless Sony headphones.
The headphones also do a good job of blocking out the noise with passive noise cancellation, mostly thanks to the thick ear pads. The mute button is a good option to have and worked well on my unit. The Jabra Direct software has a lot of settings to customize user experience. The only drawback with these headphones is the rather steep price. However, many other comparable headsets do sell at a similar price point. Overall. for most users who spend a long time working from home and teleconferencing and are looking for a comfortable pair of headphones with a great mic and sound quality, this pair will be a worthwhile investment. Full marks from me!

Thankfully this pair of headphones look very professional when handling online calls and video conferences and whatnot; however, the sound quality is very average, and the mic is just very basic, I really was expecting a high-quality mic for my calls, and I ended up being disappointed due to the poor mic quality.
In any case, I chose to stick with my AirPods when handling calls since they practically do the same functionality without getting in the way like these headphones.
Besides that, I find these headphones quite comfortable for about one to two hours, then my ears will start to hurt, and as for the 'passive noise cancellation,' it's just the memory foam that the padding has. It's really nothing amazing. Honestly, it shouldn't even be called noise cancellation. Instead, it should be noise isolation. I find it very misleading because there are people out there who look for active noise cancellation headphones, and seeing these in your search is very misleading.
Also, the price is really not that impressive. For that amount, I feel like they could've done more to improve the quality of the headphones. Also, these headphones should be in the 100 dollar price range, in my honest opinion.
It's difficult to recommend these because of that price range. You can get yourself some AirPods or some Sennheiser headphones with superior mic quality.

Now, what I DO really like is the busy light. Working at home, this is a feature we both really, really, like. It works very well and it's incredibly nice to be able to quickly see at a glance whether we're on a call. It works flawlessly on teams.
In terms of comfort, I would really recommend an over-ear style instead if you're using this for long periods. Perhaps if you just take this on and off for calls, it's fine, but I do like using my headset for music when not in calls so they sit on my head for hours at a time and I find that the on-ear design really fatigues me quickly.
Absolutely, if you're looking for a headset, this is a great option (especially if your employer is reimbursing you for it) that will sound good enough for work and some light background music while looking professional... but I can't imagine purchasing this I was not planning on using it for work.

The Jabra Evolve2 40 UC Wired Headphones connected to my laptop the first time and installed the driver itself within 15 seconds. I use this headset during Skype and Teams calls for work. The call quality is incredible and the sound is fantastic as well. The volume buttons to increase and decrease the volume work great, and pulling the microphone up mutes the call automatically. There is a play/pause button between the volume button which beeps if I press it during calls but does nothing. I really like the mute button on the headset as it's easy to find and away from the other buttons, so I'm not fumbling to unmute myself as I have to do sometimes on conference calls. The cushions are comfortable on the ears but after prolonged wear my left ear tends to hurt as it is tough to get this headset to be wider no matter how hard I try. If I'm wearing my glasses, they really hurt behind my ears too. If it weren't for this issue, this would be a perfect headset as it hits the other features excellently.

I recognise Jabra as primarily for calls not necessarily music playback performance, however this Evolve2 line-up is has improved in this area. Finally, I don't have to have a second pair of headphones to jam to some tunes between calls at work. I am not saying it is audiophile quality or anything like that, but I find it more than enough for the purpose... The bass seems to pack a decent punch and the highs are clear and crisp. Don't crank that volume too high though if you are concerned about "audio spillage" as these are on-ear and as such you might disturb your neighbours. I'd go out on a limb and say it's a perfect balance of excellent for calls and solid for music playback.
A big selling point for this model is there are a number of hardware functions which are integrated with specific software for which it is certified (Unified Communications certification). For instance in Microsoft Teams, when you lift the mic boom it mutes your microphone and automatically unmutes it when you lower it. This is a welcomed upgrade from fiddling the cord on previous modules to find a mute button or something like that (I could never keep track of the inline remote on those older models).
This might be nitpicking but something I found annoying was the amount of cord noise the made it back to the headset. It can be really distracting during calls. I find myself making an effort be completely still so that I don't generate that noise. For a $200 headset this is really not acceptable. However this is something that can easily be addressed in a firmware update and I really hope Jabra can take care of this in the near future.

In terms of cons from a regular consumer standpoint, the lack of adapters is a bit dissapointing given the high price point. The Jabra direct software feels very "corporate" per their target market I'm sure but limits the knobs and setting I'm used to seeing. I wish they had made the mic able to function on both the left and right sides instead of only the right side.
Overall, this is a very high quality headset for the corporate environment or even for home. There are a few design choices that gave me some pause but once settled in, I was very impressed in actually using this headset. With some tweaks I would say that this could be a perfect product, but for now i do still recognize it's a great item to have for to enjoy some tunes inbetween those long calls.

Things took a bit of a dive when I started testing the microphone on my phone. Before attempting to use it in any calls, I used a number of different voice recorder apps and was absolutely appalled by the amount of static and noise in every recording I made. Sitting in a quiet room all by myself, I was left with very strong amounts of static/noise in my recordings - there was no way this would pass during a meeting. I was deflated, certainly something had to be wrong with this headset. I decided to go ahead and try it on my business laptop with Teams and was relieved that the issue was completely gone and seems to be limited to my phone. Now, I do sometimes use Teams on my phone too so this is still a problem for me - but at least I know that the issue is either with how the headset works with Android, or perhaps just my particular phone and not that it simply has a terrible microphone. On PC, recordings are clean and clear and my voice sounds very natural with good volume not too loud as to be overdriven but not so quiet as to be one of those people that you have to ask to repeat themselves every time they say something.
The hardware itself is really nicely made. The materials all look and feel premium. The padding on both the headband and ear cups is super soft and not the kind of material that collects lint, dust and oils. I find this headset really comfortable and easy to wear. The cord is long enough without being way too long, and I thought it was really neat that it has a mute indicator built right into the plug (on both sides, to account for being able to plug it in either way). The boom is on the short side and doesn't give you much control in the way of adjustment but I didn't find it needed to be adjusted much and seemed to give me good recordings (on PC, anyway) in really almost any position I had it in.
Usability is good, mute can be done either with a button on the earcup or by moving the boom up away from your mouth. All of the other controls are directly on the earcups, there is no annoying dongle hanging midway on the cord pulling down on the headset.
Honestly I'd be completely satisfied with this headset for everyday use if I didn't have such a bad experience with trying to use it on mobile - but I'll admit that this is probably not an issue everybody will have.

The sound quality is not up to Jabra standards either. I can hear everyone clearly but the sound is flat, without normal levels of high and low. The mic quality is also sub-standard, with too much treble. It is pretty much impossible to find a good position for the boom mic that captures my voice well but doesn't distort it with the extra treble.
I don't recommend these headphones. Get yourself a good pair of gaming headphones instead. They are also designed with comfort and sound quality in mind.

The overall comfort and construction of these headphones feels OK. The headrest is a matte rubberized material that feels spongey and nice. The foam on the earpieces feels quite thin and wearing these headphones for a long time is not comfortable.
The audio quality is good however for the price you pay, you expect a little more. The microphone is clear and receives good quality audio.
Overall this headset is decent for the price and quality.

-Great for gaming: Microphone is easy to slide, and doesn't get in the way
-Sound quality is EPIC: The bass is pure!
-Noise cancellation at it's finest
-Large button on the side of button: Easy to reach during gameplay
-Nice sleek design
-Lightweight: I already used them while cutting the grass. Doesn't add any extra weight. Feels snug and doesn't slip off
-The wire is not too long
Cons:
-The case that comes with it is frustrating: The made the case just the smallest size possible to fit the headphones inside. You need to fold the headphones in a special way to fit it snug.

The headphones have cushioned ear pads. However, it is still getting a bit uncomfortable after an extended period pf wearing.
I like the design of the pouch that comes with the headphones. It is nicely made and provides sufficient protection.

Does not work after November 2020 firmware update. Returning through Amazon.
Comfort on ears it somewhat bad.
Vibration and bumps to the USB cable can be heard through the headset.
Pros
The comfort at the top of the head is really good, nice and soft.
Sidetone is a great feature to have.
Better than average mic, speaker quality is fine
