Similar a Ryzen 3700, funciona con una tarjeta B460 de las económicas. Cambiar el disipador
Excelente opción si no vas a hacer OC. Acabo de actualizar desde un i7 4770 y es poco más del doble de rápido. Hoy pude renderizar un vídeo de 30 minutos mientras hacía una llamada por Zoom y revisaba el email y la PC no se colgó a pesar de estar usando el CPU al 100%.
La velocidad se mantiene a 4.6 GHz a menos que hagas un tender muy largo, luego de unos minutos empieza a bajar la velocidad a 3.9 GHz pero igual se mantiene muy rápido.
Conviene reemplazar el ventilador incluido, yo monté un Cooler Master 212 y funciona muy bien, con el original se calienta un poco y el CPU no mantiene los 4.6 GHz por más de 30 segundos.
Realmente estoy satisfecho con la compra, lo monté en una tarjeta madre B460 muy básica y económica by creo que fue la mejor elección.
En juegos el CPU trabaja relajado, en COD Modern Warfare jamás usa más del 40% corriendo a 1440P.
Estuve a punto de comprar un Ryzen 3700x pero las tarjetas madres que soportan ese cpu son mucho más costosas.
P.D: el supuesto consumo de 65w es engañoso, a full carga puede consumir hasta 140w, supongo que con el disipador incluido se calienta rápido y no llegará a consumir tanta electricidad.

Muy bueno 8 núcleos 16 hilos trabajando con mi sistema de enfriamiento a 45-50 grados centígrados, con juegos como cyberpunk 2077 se eleva a los 65 grados centígrados,apoyandose más en la grafica.

Needs a better cooler.
I decided to base my new DAW on this processor and I'm glad I did. Using Cubase 10.5 I am only seeing about 25% of the processor being used at any given time. I don't intend to use this computer for anything else but it is imperative that it be quiet.
I used the Intel supplied cooler for a couple of days but in benchmarking the processor got up to 100C (212F!). That's crazy hot. That was WITH thermal throttling.
I replaced the wimpy cooler with a 150W TDP one. Telling BIOS that you installed a tower cooler (automatically) raises the TDP to 125W. No more throttling and never gets above 60C. (Pretty amazing for a $25 cooler I think.). The fan is inaudible from a foot away.
Rendering my projects now takes mere seconds rather than minutes. I like that. But my basic reason for building a new computer was reliability. I was using a 10 year old HP desktop.

Last of the i7 10700 gen 10
Well it works great because I did not have a choice. The mini board required an Intel Chip and this is the best fit. However, if it was a choice I would have selected the Ryzen 7 3700X for the same size mother board with the choice of a Ryzen chip. This does not mean the Intel i7 was a bad choice there are worse choices out there.

Not just for gaming!
This cpu was bought for an all around use set-up. Cannot complain. Integrated graphics are doing everything I need until gpu's become less scarce and more affordable. UPdate: Did purchase a workstation video card for now and this system is working beautifully. Doing everything I throw at it, so far. I do have a higher core/ thread count chip for more intensive projects, but not what this one was built for...

Non K CPU for Budget build
If you have budget then go for K version but to get full benefit of k CPU, you need to have z490 modbo that cost you approx 20k.
I went for MAG 460 mortar best B460 motherboard. I don't want to pay 10-15k for 15-20fps extra. I have this pc for my office work and 1080p gaming.

Good processor at a good price.
Processor works fine and comes with a cooling fan. I did wonder why the fan had thermal paste on the contact surface...made me wonder it it had been installed and used before I got it. It is however, working just fine.

Great processor
I have changed i7 2700k for i7 10700 And it was great move. I use computer and mainly for exploring possibilities of orchestral arrangement within vst plugins. 8 cores and 16 threads was that what makes the process so much better. Great processor efficient with energy consumption and if you do not overclock , highly recommended

Processor i7-10700 LGA1200 10th Gen.
Very strong processor. Can run anything at a good speed but It's also one of the last cpu Intel generation, so it's expected that's reliable. For gaming is a good choice but at the end the graphic card installed is who will define the quality of the game.

It’s a decent CPU. Although the base frequency rate is okay, intels turbo boost technology overclocks it in exerting scenarios to 3.9 ghz

I am impressed with the product. I have i7-4770 in my older PC. The new i7-10700 is a big step ahead.
