There is nothing wrong with the tray. Fits the chair wonderfully but a little issue with the design of it. My little one can lift the tray and pinch her fingers underneath. And there is a large space still between the edge of the tray and the chair so a lot of food still falls on the floor. Little ones use the edge to scoop towards themselves causing the food to fall. However I t does help keep food from getting squished under the legs on the table though so we used it still for easier clean up. Also the chair does fit on most tables. I've only found one so far it didn't not open wide enough for.

As other reviewers mentioned, the tray doesn’t sit flat on the counter (seems like a design/production flaw). Once baby understands that by banging it, his food can fly everywhere - it’s a party. Extremely amusing for baby and frustrating for mom.
It’s too bad, because we are extremely happy with the chair. The tray is a let down.

Tiny and neat addition to the inglesina fast table chair although it doesn't fit in the fast chair travel bag. Great for use at home keeping table clean and filling in that little gap between table and chair. Found it a little pricey. Overall I would recommend it.
