NOT COLOR
I know it was probably in the description and I missed it...however, I was shocked that I paid $300 for a printer with no color....it just had to go back. I understand it comes with 5,000 pages but why promote you can print pictures if you can't print in color?

A useful tool instead of the same old gimmicky inkjet garbage
I like this machine. That’s the first time I’ve been able to say that about any printer I’ve ever owned! The printer and app both make me feel confident I can get the job done instead of messing around with dumb gimmicky apps and cleaning print heads. It just works and the app is user friendly. I’ll never buy another inkjet printer. I’ve had all of the brands and they all suck in basically all the same ways. With the price point of lasers being what they are now, inkjet printers will hopefully go the way of vacuum tube televisions soon. That day can’t come soon enough in my opinion. I own a printer I like. I can’t believe it!! Giddy.

The unit's paper feeder didn't work out of the box
Unboxed the printer.
Followed instructions. Easy. Inserted about 15 sheets of paper into tray.
"Out-of-paper" error ensued.
Added more paper ...about 40 sheets.
"Out-of-paper" did not clear.
Finally, after 15 minutes of trying to contact HP support (Good luck) the printer decided to print the test page. Problem is, it grabbed 2 extra sheets.
Total POS.
Sending back. Stay away from this.

Love the printer, but...
I like this HP printer very much, but.... for a $330 printer, it lacks two main things that cheaper printers have and they are: 1) a sheet feeder - one must place the sheets one by one by lifting the document cover in order to copy and scan - and 2) it lacks a paper drawer although it does have a cover to the paper slot, which is at best difficult to place.

Easy set-up, prints easily from my wireless network and iPhone
Set up was much easier than the hassle that my office went through with setting up an equivalent Xerox printer recently. As can be seen in my attached video, it took about thirty seconds to print an eight-page document, which I found acceptable for a laser printer. I had no problems with the print quality and the machine printed fine from both my laptop wirelessly and from my iPhone. The instructions said to download the HP app but I was able to simply add the printer to my list of printers on my desktop computer without downloading the HP app on that machine so it may not be necessary to perform the download on every one of your source devices.
Being a laser printer and not an ink jet, it prints using toner and the box says that it should print 5000 pages from the toner that is included in the machine at delivery. Obviously I was interested in determining the cost of a toner replacement and doing so wasn't exactly easy, when using the suggested HP site mentioned in the accompanying document. In fact, the supplied website address wasn't even accessible. Nor did a web search provide the specific toner replacement kit either. Fortunately after a bit more searching I was able to come up with what seems to be the proper kit on Amazon and found that I can buy two replacement kits (2500 pages each) for only $27.99, which I found to be an entirely reasonable price compared to what I've had to pay for other printers for original manufactured products. I only hope that the price doesn't increase once these units become more popular.

troubles getting it to work/NO TECH SUPPORT
When I first set up this printer it worked; the next time I wanted to use it, I had to go through the whole set up again, it worked; the third time I could not get it to work, kept getting message "printer not found". I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with tech support, nothing he/we tried worked, no driver found on HP website, just would not work; he "escalated" the case to his supervisor, who still hasn't called me back. This morning I decided to try one more time. Went through the whole process of setting up again. The "easy" set up instructions don't take you through everything you need to do, namely, downloading a product update that apparently is the issue with the "no driver" found glitch. I randomly clicked on a Firmware update, not even sure what it was, and guess what, it works now... at least for right this minute. Now, if I try to print again and it doesn't work, I am going to demand my money back from HP. That's what I get for buying a brand new product, all the bugs aren't worked out.

NOT at all what it's hyped up to be
I was searching for a great monochrome laser printer to replace my $99 Brother laser printer I currently use for my business. The reviews were so solid for this one I decided to pay almost 3x the cost for it. (I've purchased many HP products in the past with great results and no issues.)
While I LOVE the idea of not having to buy toner replacements, I was extremely surprised that the print quality of this machine is MUCH worse than my current $99 laser printer. This printer couldn't even print the darker grays my current printer does with ease. (And yes, I played with the settings and it could NOT produce good results.) To add insult to injury, this printer left a TON of "scratch lines" down the gold foil labels we use for our products so I promptly returned it.
I could NOT recommend this printer for anything but printing text. Even then, you're better off buying a cheaper machine since toner isn't THAT expensive to begin with. Honestly, save some money and get something else.

Very Good office printer for Home
Due to COVID, I have been working home. I had a Canon and Epson color inkjet printers. Both ran out of ink very quickly and they were very slow. I finally purchase this HP Neverstop -- black and white and very high volume. Printing is very fast and clean. installation to my MAC was easy. No experience with adding toner. I have already printed hundreds of pages and the ink meter has barely moved. More expensive than Canon and Epson but well worth it if you are a lawyer, account or a professional that needs to print lots of pages.

If you are a self employed person needing a fast reliable print look elsewhere.
This printer was slower than my older
Stand alone printer. The print quality at highest setting failed to light colored areas of the documents. It would fail to print if asked to print docs larger than 20 pages. The HP Smart app didn't allow me many options for correcting my frustrations. I have purchased another printer to replace it.

1. I purchased mine for $186, a customer return. Compare this to my previous two Laserjet IIs at $3,600 each and six Laserject 2100s at $600 for one, this was a steal.

At this price, this unit is a "throw away." The industry's "rule of thumb" is this: toss it into the garbage if repairs or replacement parts cost more than 50% or $93.

2. The 600dpi text print quality was excellent - sharp and clear.

3. The print speed was relatively fast - adequate for my needs.

4. The unit uses a toner injection system in a bottle. I was able to bulk buy. So, it costs $13.20 to fill the reservoir vs. a $70 cartridge system. Unfortunately, the image drum has to be replaced after 20,000 runs. At $70 for replacement, the toner savings will be negated by this expense. According to my calculations, I will still be ahead by $17.20.

Warning: Fonts with jagged edges, Not Laser Printer Quality
Never thought there would be a day that a laser printer of the latest generation printed out pages reminded me days of dot matrix printers.
Never thought there would be a day that a laser printer of the latest generation printed out a test page composed of fonts with visiblly jagged edges.
That was never a problem for Laser printers. That was not even a problem for ink jet printers many years ago. The actual quality is probably lower than 160x160 dpi, because of the jagged edges.
The test page was generated on a macOS 10.15.6.
For now, I assume it is a software issue or driver issue. I will be waiting for HP's update or patch, for about 3 weeks, before the 1-month return period expires.

Excellent
It's been a while since setting up a new printer, and I have PTSD from difficult wireless setup, terrible printer-specific software, etc.
I was REALLY pleasantly surprised with this printer and it's easy setup. I had my first page coming out of my Mac, wirelessly in no time at all. The connection has been bulletproof, and the prints come out fast and look great with that sharp laser quality.
The device itself is compact, functional, and looks great. Very happy with my pick - no regrets!

Very disappointed, received defective printer
First time buying a laser printer and so I decided to buy this after positive reviews and the economical toner refill option. The initial unboxing and setup went well. I was able to connect to WiFi and print from my phone using the HP Smart app, all prints that were attempted came out with a black streak covering a quarter of the right side of page. The unit I received has a bad drum, it doesn’t matter how cheap the toner is if all prints come out like that and there is a good possibility this could happen again when you eventually need to buy another drum replacement. This printer was boxed up for return within hours of receiving it. I don’t waste my time with tech support calls, a company has one shot to deliver a product that works as advertised. I would not recommend this printer.

Great Printer for Students
Wow this printer is amazing! Now that school has switched to mostly online I needed a printer to print assignments and scan as well. I have owned three printers and they have all been ink jet printers. The price of ink is absurd so I wanted to try laser. This printer has a higher upfront cost but I figured that I would end up saving money in the long run, especially since I will be printing many assignments for this semester. It was easy to setup to my WiFi and I have already gone through a ream of paper. I would definitely recommend this printer to students and those with small businesses.

Change Rating from one star to four star.
So I feel like a jerk for my last poor ratings... sorry team HP..
I finally figured out what the issue with slow printing (long lag time) and difficulty connecting installing. The issues was with a setting in my router. I am a few hours from working this solution but it seems fine.
Background of issue:
I have both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz set up on my router (ASUS). The printer was visible on the network and it would connect easily however it would drop connection after it was in hibernation mode and when it was connected it would have a long lag time (5min - 15 mins.).
When troubleshooting through the router and computer firewall the router was connected and appeared fine. However the app on the phone would loose connection almost immediately and windows computers would not see it on the network.
Solution:
I logged on the router and changed the router "Load Balance" to its default settings. I am not sure why I set it up to favor 5GHz and honestly I couldn't tell you what a "Load Balance" did. I also added the printer to Wake on Lan.
I am back in business with this printer and it is now working like a champ.

- it is now on the network and working wirelessly

Thought it would be a great printer because of the price.
This is an ok printer. It consistently has issues going offline. I have moved it all over the place including right next to the router. When is does print it is nice. I overlooked that it was not a Duplex printer and the Manual Duplex option is very confusing. The lack of a onboard menu makes it difficult to configure. I was able to log in via WebServer and configure it but overall I would not buy this printer again.
I have not owned it long enough to tell how long / how many pages I will get out of the toner. Time will tell.

Very Glad I Bought This Printer
Ok, last printer was an Epson Workforce. It worked, it was noisy, but it was inexpensive ($150?) 5 years ago. BUT... I probably paid $500-600 for ink in the intervening years. So..... this printer works very well, and I had no need of color printing although it will scan in color. It cost me $289 but.... 5000 pages of ink in the box! Probablyly more than I printed in the life of the Epson. Refill 2500 pages of ink? $16! To me it is a no brainer buy. The minor hassles of setting up are, in my experience, pretty normal. Prints great, fast, quiet.

Примерно на 85% я печатаю черно-белые изображения. Поэтому до сих пор в струйных принтерах у меня в основном были пустые черные картриджи, в то время как цветной картридж прослужил значительно дольше. Чтобы снизить стоимость черно-белых отпечатков, я искал альтернативу по разумной цене. Я также нашел их с помощью лазерного принтера HP Laserjet M110we.
Когда я распаковал его, меня сначала охватило разочарование. Длина прилагаемых кабелей холодного питания составляла всего 150 см. Это было слишком мало для места установки, которое я планировал. Я приобрел принтер HP m110w, потому что хочу время от времени печатать несколько документов. Я остановил свой выбор на лазерном принтере, потому что по опыту знал, что чернила в струйных принтерах быстро высыхают. И хотя эти принтеры часто стоят дешевле, чернильные картриджи обошлись мне в целое состояние. Картриджи с тонером тоже недешевы, но для этого принтера их хватает примерно на 1000 отпечатков. Тонер не высыхает, и его хватает на два года и более, даже при нечастом использовании. m110w поставляется с тонер-картриджем меньшего размера, рассчитанным примерно на 200 отпечатков.
Я выбрал подписку HP Instant ink. Принтер поставлялся с бесплатной пробной версией на 2 месяца, и я решил воспользоваться им. После этого я буду продолжать, может быть, в течение двух лет. Я решился на 50 отпечатков в месяц за 1,99 евро. Картридж стоит около 42 евро. Так что примерно по той же цене. Вы можете выбрать вариант без подписки или с большим количеством отпечатков в месяц. Качество печати достойное. Текстовые символы четкие и тонкие. Поскольку это черно-белый принтер, цвета в ваших документах будут преобразованы в черно-белые. Качество серого цвета рисунков и картинок не так уж велико. Светлые цвета преобразуются в белые, и поэтому вы их не увидите. Но, эй, этот принтер не является большим офисным принтером, а предназначен для домашнего (офисного) и школьного использования. Я могу однозначно рекомендовать этот принтер и очень доволен своей покупкой.
Я выбрал подписку HP Instant ink. Принтер поставлялся с бесплатной пробной версией на 2 месяца, и я решил воспользоваться им. После этого я буду продолжать, может быть, в течение двух лет. Я решился на 50 отпечатков в месяц за 1,99 евро. Картридж стоит около 42 евро. Так что примерно по той же цене. Вы можете выбрать вариант без подписки или с большим количеством отпечатков в месяц. Есть еще один принтер m110we. Это то же самое, но буква “e” подключена к HP+ Это означает, что HP не позволит вам использовать картриджи, отличные от HP. Но в остальном вы можете разместить его там, где он лучше всего впишется в комнату. Настройка выполняется в несколько шагов и включает установку приложения HP на ваш iPhone или Android. На самом деле субподрядчик, осуществляющий поставку, поставил его у моего порога, а не у соседей, как обычно. Во-первых, это дает хорошие результаты, отчасти потому, что устройство доставки дополнительно защитило его от дождя.
Устройство производит - визуально - хорошее впечатление, соответствует моим ожиданиям в отношении необходимого пространства и, вероятно, станет последним принтером, который мне понадобится в частном порядке.
И да, вы заранее знаете, что необходимы пятьдесят учетных записей, регистрация и т.д.:
Но от этого не становится лучше. К сожалению, мне не повезло, что адрес электронной почты, который я использовал для регистрации, фактически "неактивен" - к сожалению, в процессе регистрации практически нет возможности исправить это.
Последующее изменение, например, вместо этого получение текстового сообщения, по-видимому, отсутствует - или, по крайней мере, не происходит своевременно. Для меня это совершенно неприемлемо: я хотел бы раз в квартал, возможно, даже реже, делать распечатку, которая не задерживается - как в случае с моим струйным принтером - сообщением о том, что ...
а) чернильные картриджи высохли из-за неиспользования
б) чернильные картриджи пусты из-за неиспользования, потому что тестовые / чистящие отпечатки не позволили высохнуть

Хороший продукт
Принтер был доставлен уже на следующий день, и это было до Рождества. Большая похвала за это. Я выбрал HP Laserjet M110w без hp +, так как я мало печатаю и собираюсь печатать с помощью картриджа с тонером в течение длительного времени. Кроме того, я не хочу постоянно находиться на связи с HP. Потратить на замену около 45 евро - не проблема. Отсутствие лотка для бумаг меня тоже не беспокоит. Он очень маленький для этого и поместится на моей полке. Наш принтер работает от USB, но Apple Airprint также работает без проблем.
Я настоятельно рекомендую этот принтер всем, у кого мало места и кто редко печатает.
