Ich habe einen halben Nachmittag ohne Erfolg damit verbringen müssen, den Drucker in eine Netzwerk aus Fritzbox und Apple-Endgeräten einzubinden. Da es bei einem Samsung-Drucker unproblematisch möglich ist, dachte ich, dürfte es auch mit HP kein Problem sein. Alles Kontrollmöglichkeiten gaben "grünes Licht", sowohl in der Fritzbox als auch an meinem MacBook, es kam dann aber immer am Ende die Meldung "Drucker ist nicht angeschlossen". Wie nervig ist das denn. Nur per USB-Kabel war Druck möglich. Das aber reicht mir natürlich nicht. Drucker geht, auch aus weiteren Gründen, zurück.

Alles was man braucht bietet dieser Drucker! Unterstützung für Linux und Windows alles was mein alter Drucker nicht gemacht hat! Einfache Installation! LAN Anschluss, WLAN, USB mehr braucht man nicht, Druck vom Handy aus, wer keinen Farbdrucker braucht sollte damit zufrieden sein!

er hat so seine Probleme mit dem Ruhemodus. Wenn er druckt, dann schnell und ordentlich. Manchmal kommt er aber nicht aus dem Ruhemodus. Die Meldungen lauten dann: "Offline", "Drucker belegt", o.ä.. Ich hatte auch schon den Fall, dass er ein PDF absolut nicht drucken wollte, aber von dem Rechner meines Partners ging es. Die 3 Sterne gibt es ausschl. für Schnelligkeit und Druckqualität.

Ich hatte in den Eigenschaften die Berechtigung bei "Jeder" auf Drucken und Drucker und Dokumente verwalten gesetzt und seit dem gibt es mit dem Drucken keine Probleme. Ich weiß zwar nicht warum - beim Rechner meines Partners sind die Häckchen nicht gesetzt und dennoch gibt es keine Probleme beim Druck. Aber sei's drum, solange alles funktioniert, ist alles gut.
Deshalb jetzt vier Sterne - einen Stern Abzug gibt es dennoch, weil man sich eben erst durch verschiedene Foren und Möglichkeiten hangeln muss und ich stelle mir das für jemanden, der nicht so Computeraffin ist, doch sehr schwierig vor.

Cercavo una stampante non ingombrante, semplice da installare e che fosse WIFI. Questa stampante è molto ben fatta, robusta ed affidabile. Stampiamo anche dai cellulari senza difficoltà. Consiglio a chi ha bisogno di avere una stampa perfetta e veloce. Il fronte e retro e eccezionale e inoltre si risparmia carta.

Necesitaba una impresora debido a que tenía que imprimir más documentos en casa. Esta impresora es ideal ya que cumple con su función, siendo una impresora laser.
Lo que más valoro es que no tiene que estar conectada al ordenador con un cable ya que se puede conectar a la red de wifi y así puedes imprimir desde cualquier ordenador de la casa que la tenga configurada. Además no hace falta que esté cerca de tu ordenador si no quieres.
La volvería a comprar, es una impresora buena y económica, ideal para el uso doméstico.
Lo que más valoro es que no tiene que estar conectada al ordenador con un cable ya que se puede conectar a la red de wifi y así puedes imprimir desde cualquier ordenador de la casa que la tenga configurada. Además no hace falta que esté cerca de tu ordenador si no quieres.

zu Beginn gab es unterschiedliche Probleme. Die wurden nicht durch den Drucker sondern durch Windows 10 verursacht. Ausgelöst durch Adobe wurde W10 zurückgesetzt, der Drucker Treiber neu installiert und der Drucker funktioniert absolut top. Top in allen Bereichen. USB, LAN, W-LAN und AirPrint, ApplePrint.

Die genauen Abmessungen werden im Angebot aufgeführt. Ich habe das aber wohl etwas oberflächlich gelesen, jedenfalls wirkt der Drucker auf den Bildern kompakter als er wirklich ist.
Installation verlief problemlos, alle Treiber und eine App wurden von Windows automatisch installiert. Leserlich drucken kann er auch und vor allem das Papier wird nicht gewellt. Sehr schön das verschlossene Papierfach und der Lan Anschluss. (Lan geht immer). USB habe ich auch probiert, zuerst direkt angeschlossen und dann über USB Silex DS 4000 U2, ging problemlos. Wifi will er am liebsten, ich habe dem nachgegeben und auch das funktioniert. Dabei muß man allerdings abwarten wie lange das geht. Ich bleibe deshalb bei Lan.

Nonostante io non sia molto brava in queste cose, sono riuscita senza problemi a collegare la stampante sia al computer che al cellulare (mi sono servite due app, ma anche queste sono molto semplici). L'installazione da computer è molto guidata e semplice, all'interno della scatola ci sono due tipi diversi di alimentatore. Le istruzioni sono in tantissime lingue (quindi ottimo per chi anche se abita in Italia, mastica meglio la propria lingua di provenienza) e molto brevi perché appunto non servono molti passaggi. Mi sono trovata molto bene e sono davvero soddisfatta, il prodotto è anche arrivato prima del previsto (senza però una scatola a proteggerlo, solo la scatola originale come se la comprassi da negozio, unica cosa che mi ha messo preoccupazione, ma era ben imballata quindi non ha avuto danni, la corriere è stata gentile e ha trattato bene il pacco, grazie!

Por un precio muy asequible permite la impresión, desde ordenadores y dispositivos móviles (teléfonos, tablets...).
Conectividad vía WiFi, rj45 y USB. Muy fácil de montar y configurar.
La única pega es el precio de los recamcambios originales (como en todas las HP) y que el cartucho de tóner que viene incluido no da para muchas impresiones, teniendo los recambios originales muchisima más capacidad.

Good luck with the software and I'm a dealer.
Good luck with the software on this printer in the new Windows 10 1809. Using it will cause your computer to stall for 2 or 3 minutes for the print screen and again 2 or 3 minutes to print. If you download the pcl driver you will be able to manually install it and then it won't stall. Known issue with previous versions of Windows including 1803 also. Not something we should have to deal with in Windows 10 anymore for a simple black and white laser printer.

Software is garbage
Initially it worked, the last software update corrupted the IP communication. So, if you attempted to print over IP,it won’t. What’s worse is if you send a print from let’s say OpenOffice, the application would freeze. I couldn’t find any solution, disconnected it from the network and connected using a USB cable. Works fine now. Another problem is the toner is new, so you can’t obtain a cheaper alternative. So having to pay full price for toner. Not a bargain printer.

Annoying little printer
I purchased this printer for work to replace an HP printer that dies after 12 years. This was the closest match and I was hoping to have another workhorse.
The pros: The print quality is great and the speed is what I expected for the price point.
The cons: The bypass is set up as tray 1 and it kept giving me an error until I finally gave in a put paper in it. Now it sticks out over my desk. There are message boards all over the internet regarding this problem. If they could change the firmware to make tray 2 the primary tray, then that would fix it. Also, after two days it now makes and annoying clicking sound when cycling. I would skip this printer if I had to do it again.

Received a used printer that won’t connect for Wifi printing
Was sent a used printer that would not connect to wireless network. The directions didn’t match the settings on the device at all. The online downloadable directions don’t either. Very frustrating that I’ve waisted two business days trying to setup this printer when I needed it for my small business. Will be returning.

Ubuntu 20.04 Linux repository + HP OEM driver. - Avoid.
A decade and a half later printers are still hit or miss. There is basic functionality. Thankfully It prints. The difficulty here is the OEM driver and the Ubuntu repository don't agree on what is necessary for full functionality.
The HP driver was one of many offered for the many flavors of Linux and BSD. When installing it was helpful with many easily deciphered warnings. Then it hit. I am a programming illiterate and this expensive, very common printer will likely remain barely functional.

Constant Errors with this printer
I rarely write reviews but I was compelled to submit this simply because this is the worst HP Printer I've ever purchased. I run an accounting firm and have always used HP Laserjet printers for my employee's workstations. This printer is not the quality that I'm accustom to or expect from HP. The printer constantly has errors, freezes up, prints computer code on hundreds of sheets of paper (if you do not catch it), and the list goes on. I've downloaded all up-to-date drivers and updates for the printer and it still has nothing but problems. I wish this model was of the same high quality as the 400 or 401 series but it is not. If you're looking to buy this printer for business, you may want to consider something else.

Buyer beware
The recommended driver or the M404n printer installed by the HP installer does not work in Windows 10. I installed the HP Universal Printer Driver for PCL6 and PS to be able to print. The UPD drivers do not support all features od the printer. They are ok if you are just doing basic printing and do not need all the fancy stuff.
I just called HP support about this. The tech recommended me to do what I did, which is to install the UPD drivers. Reluctantly, he admitted that the recommended driver does not work with Windows 10 at the moment. He said HP is working on a fix to be released soon.
Print quality is good and it is fast. The paper tray is a bit flimsy.

Difficult installation.
The automatic installation feature is terrible. I contacted tech support via their chat line and the support person was no help. He just wanted to send me a refurbished printer. I called tech-support and dealt with a very helpful person but nevertheless it took him almost 2 hours to resolve the issues. One of the issues was to replace the recommended drivers with a universal driver. Why don’t they just use the universal driver if the one designed for this printer is not working? So far I am pleased with the printer now that it is finally working.

Good value, expensive genuine toner
I bought this to replace my old printer in my office. I print on average 3,000-4,000+ pages per month at work. We always used HP printers but a few years ago I switched to a cheaper option with a Brother HL6200DW. The printer was cheaper and the toner was wayyyy cheaper. That printer lasted only 2 years even using genuine brother toner and drums. I decided to switch back to HP with this printer reluctantly because HP toner is just so expensive. I must have chosen the right time to order, because the printer was $148 on a limited deal on Amazon. As of writing this, it is on sale for $268? Kind of wish I bought 2 at the time. Compared to the Brother, the print quality is sharper and darker and does not ever smear, have stripes or lines, or leave creases in paper (all of which happened on the Brother consistently). My issue with HP is the outrageous cost of their genuine toner. There are two compatible HP toners the 58A (3000 pages) or the 58X (10,000 pages). I print enough to need the 58X. That toner costs $260 from HP. I paid $148 for the printer itself and the 58A toner that came with it. How can one toner cartridge cost that much? It seems to be where HP makes all their money.
But besides print quality and reliability, I also love how HP gives you a return label to send your old toner cartridge back to be recycled. I feel like we live in such a wasteful throw-away culture anymore, it is nice to see them do that to reuse the cartridge and not be so wasteful.
Over all compared to my Brother HL6200DW, the HP is better. Initial costs of the printers was about the same. The Brother wins at cost on toner but the HP surely wins on print quality, reliability, and build quality. The only thing I miss on my Brother is the larger paper tray. This HP can't hold a whole ream of paper.

Most Frustrating New Product Experience EVER
Honestly do not waste your money. Coming from someone with a fair amount of technology, printer, computer, etc. experience -- this was the most frustrating product that I have EVER purchased and not worth a penny. The customer experience in setup is god awful. The setup book, Apps/Tools and website are all completely inconsistent in how to actually setup the product and make it work. It claims to allow multiple devices over ethernet but that is a complete lie. You cannot use the second tray as your primary, so you have to keep the first flimsy tray open, which is a waste of space and complete counterintuitive to a sleek/small design. The entire experience from start to finish is god awful. If I had any alternative that allow me to wait for a replacement then I would return this in a minute, but unfortunately I need it immediately. Do NOT waste your money, time or frustration. Hundreds of options out there and HP did an absolutely terrible job on this one. If I were them I would be embarrassed that I put this to market.

Expensive Cartridges
Beware. Printer is cheap. You will get killed on chip embedded cartridges. Cartridges are very expensive and does not give you Number of copies it says It will.

Do not buy this printer !!!
I don't normally leave reviews but this printer drove me to write one. Do not purchase this printer... move on to another one. I bought this printer for our non-profit organization and it has been nothing but problems since we first hooked it up.
We had an HP 4050TN that worked flawlessly but this printer has had problem after problem after problem. I sitting here right now with it telling me it is out of paper when there is paper in the tray. This was the last straw and the reason why I'm trying to warn people not to buy this printer. Save yourself the frustration.

The ePrint (remote printing) feature not working properly
We purchased this device primarily for the HP ePrint feature. It did not work for email with image in the signature: Printer asks for photo paper for the image to be printed. The remote printing job will not print unless someone physically in front of the printer and press OK to print to regular paper. If you don't, no job will be printed.
We talked to Amazon support, then got transferred to HP support. HP business support confirmed it is an ePrint related issue. To our surprise, HP ePrint support team has been closed since the Covid-19: I mean completely- closed-not-even-picking-up-calls, type of closed.
We have been using HP ePrint feature for years. It is so disappointed to see HP market this feature but do not offer any support or communication channels with end user on issues related to this feature. Other brand do have "remote printing" feature, but there are so many conditions attached to them: Needs to be on the same LAN, needs 3rd party apps...... HP's ePrint has very good concept and very user friendly. It's sad to see HP pretty much gives up this competition advantage and let the market/customer on their own...

Great printer at a great price!!
I don’t understand the negative reviews for this. I literally took it out of the box, plugged it in, added it as a printer on my computer and printed. Worked like a charm. If you have bought a printer before you know NO printer comes with a cable (only the power cord), so make sure you add one to your cart. And any product that comes with an ink cartridge is ALWAYS a sample and won’t last very longer. So get a extra cartridge. All of this is written in the description. Even if you bought this in a store it would be the same thing. I would definitely recommend this printer.

Easiest setup ever.
Was unsure whether or not it would print from a Chromebook. Literally just plugged it into my ethernet port on my router and it worked. From the moment I push print, on either of my kids Chromebooks or my Windows 10 laptop, it's 7 seconds to completing the first page. Print quality seems fine.

DOES NOT COME WITH FULL TONER CARTRIDGE.
Although the Q & A indicate it comes with a full toner cartridge, it comes only with a cartridge marked "introductory". Toner ran out in no more than 200 pages printed. Factor in price of toner of $105 in addition to price of printer.

Terribly Hard to set up printer
If you cant directly plug in your printer to your router, do not buy this printer. This printer by by far, the most needlessly difficult printer i have ever had the misfortune to set up. First it asks you to download all their HP drivers, and then they want you to set up a wired connection to your router? How ridiculous of a company is HP to expect that people have living spaces that allow for this type of wired connection?

Printer communication problems
We have two of these models in the office of a manufacturing plant. Both of them randomly lose communication with the computer and either print from the incorrect bin, or start printing page after page of a few lines of gibberish. The only solution is to turn it off and on. I tried live chatting with there virtual assistant, but that was very unproductive. I tried e-mailing support but got no answer. I then searched online for people with similar problems. From that, I've changed to a shielded USB cable, I've added ferrite beads to both the power and USB cables, and I've even tried moving the printers. Nothing has worked. We have numerous other printers of various brands, including other HP printers, and none of them have experienced the same issues. Because of the severe hit on the productivity of the users working with these printers, I've been forced to retire them, one of them only 4 months old, and change to a different brand of printer. I would never recommend this printer.

Returned after one day
After spending two hours trying to set it up to print wirelessly I called H-P after an hour on the phone H-P told me it was a networking issue and I should contact my network provider. I’ve got two other printers are connected. H-P had no way to tell me how to connect wirelessly I returned it the same day I bought it. don’t waste your time get something else that knows how to set up and connect withOut the hassle. #NEVERHP. Bought a Canon printer was up and running in 15 minutes

Hard to setup and no WiFi
Infuriating trying to set it up. No wifi from what I can tell if working step by step through unclear instructions for two hours. Find one with easier set up and save yourself

HP laser jet - everything you expect
I remember when a "fast" printer was 16 ppm and took 5 minutes to warm up...yes I am old. No more. first page is out in seconds and it will print its paper capacity out with in minutes if you have a print job that is big enough. This "low budget" printer is great and I expect it to last forever (maybe not through the Zombie Apocalypse). Buy with confidence.

Printer is good - HP drivers are HORRIBLE!!!!!
We have been deploying these printers into our company as network and/or USB attached printers for a low-cost simple black & white printing solution. These have been used on Windows 7 & Windows 10, however, YOU MUST USE THE HP UNIVERSAL PRINTER DRIVERS! The specific drivers for this model from HP are garbage and cause more headaches than needed! If you're OK with using the universal drivers, it's not a bad device!

Nice printer but...
This HP Printer comes with toner, unfortunately it indicates it is "low on toner, please replace" after printing fewer than ten pages. To the seller: please provide a full toner cartridge with the printer.

Simple and fast black & white printer
Uses toner quick, but other than that it prints great!! Quick printing in black & white- perfect for printing documents. Just to keep in mind, this printer is good price, because it's not wifi compatible. If you need to place printer far away from computer, this one is not for you.

NO WIFI PRINTING
I know it is my own fault but I purchased this printer assuming it has WiFi's printing capability. Don't be fooled, it does not. I think the product description should be updated to call this lack of functionality out.

I actually had a bit of difficulty with the install process but it was my computer and not the printer. Honestly for the price of this printer I have been super impressed with the quality.

Do Not Purchased!
I have had this printer for a few weeks and it is defective. The return date has expired and was too short.. I do not recommend purchasing this printer as a refurbished item!

I received my printer and have printed 100 pages. I already have to purchase a new cartridge. That's kind of ridiculous. Otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase :)

Top Quality Product but Cartridge is Low
Although a bit costly, the performance is excellent. The printer came with a free cartridge. But that cartridge could print only about 100 pages. We did not anticipate this. Hence our printing service was affected when cartridge ran out. The manufacturer should clearly indicate how long the free cartridge would last, so that customers can prepare accordingly.

Not up to the Expectation
Regret to buy this Printer. There is no background light in the display. Very difficult to see what is being displayed. Print quality & Copy quality is worse than the HP Inkjet printer which I have been using. Duplex printing is not working. Since I started using the printer after the expiry of the return window, I could not return the product.

not for office use, Very high maintaince
good untill it's run out of ink, then you have to buy original cartridge costing 4-5k, they won't service it under warranty if you get it refilled, with cheaper cartridges available or refilled cartridge ,they refused to provide service under warranty, as printer just after 7-8 months is showing error and prints are not coming.
,just dont buy this, not logical to buy 4-5k cartridge after every 700-800pages print.

Awesome for direct wireless printing!
Perfect and very easy direct wireless printing even without internet connection. simply connect to mobile phone and print seamlessly. Very convenient! Dispaly should have been better as not visible in dim light!

M126nw is VFM for a network printer!
This is an amazing printer for the price! The quality is just too good. Good for occasional home usage and for a small office. The only draw-backs I can think of are: 1) No auto Duplex printing; 2) Cannot scan Legal Size paper.
