Reasonably priced, but make sure the spec is consistent with your needs. Possibly not suitable for gaming, but we don't do any of that here. We bought two, and are now in pixel paradise!

Now that I've had this monitor for about a year, I can't stand to use my laptop with its small screen. I love watching movies and tv shows on the monitor. It is so much easier to see products I want to buy. I would never give this up!

I am not happy with the quality of printing from this cartridge, it is definitely not crisp and dark (sorta grayish and faded)

The warantee end date was in 2011. There was no indication that these were very old cartridges They were sold as new rather than "never used".

Using it on a Mac Mini, colors are very impressive and true, even before calibration. I highly recommend this monitor, and if I didn't have a Mac cinema display for the other, I would buy another. Pictures and movies look perfect on it. 5 stars well deserved.

Bought this monitor for my new office. Wanted a larger size than my previous 23 inch Viewsonic lcd which was also a great monitor. Though it's only 2 inches larger it seems more than that. I'm using this with a 13 inch macbook pro and am connecting via HDMI through a mini-display port to HDMI converter. My Mac instantly recognized the monitor and fired right up. Image is bright and clear. The monitor is pretty thin and very light weight. Looks great on the desk without being too overwhelming. Would definitely recommend this monitor.

I bought this monitor for two reasons: 1) at my last job I used an HP flat-panel monitor (though not this model) and it seemed quite reliable and 2) I wanted a monitor with a 4:3 aspect ratio because the graphics card in my old Dell Dimension 4600 favors this aspect ratio in the resolutions it delivers. And anyway, I like the kind of screen real estate a 4:3 aspect ratio delivers.The monitor did arrive with a few dead pixels, but luckily they're at the edge of the screen and rarely noticeable.All in all the monitor delivers a great picture, and I'm under the impression it uses in-plane switching (IPS), whose primary virtue is delivering a picture that can be viewed clearly from extreme angles and not only straight on. In any case it does seem to behave this way, which is a plus.I don't know if anyone is still selling these refurbished HP LP2065 monitors, but I'm not sorry I bought mine. The only thing I sometimes wish it had is a built-in webcam, but I knew going in that I wasn't getting one.Bottom line: a good monitor at a great price (for me, a little over $100).

I researched a few "lower-end"(read: lower priced) monitors, before finding this beauty. Granted this HP isn't the cheapest, but I found you do get what you pay for. My first actual purchase in this quest to find the perfect mix of price and function was an Acer 23" LED (don't recall model) from BB which was "on sale" for $168.00. What can I say? It was a large, stylish led monitor. But that's about it. The picture, which suffered horribly from a matte finish looked just washed out and dull. And text was fuzzy and hard to read. After some searching, I found this awesome HP 25" LED Glossy screen. Sure it shows reflections, but let's be honest so do the matte finishes and at least the glossy screens don't look like you forgot to peel off a protective plastic layer. Colors really pop and the size is just right. I went from using dual 19" non-wide screen monitors to this and its much nicer real-estate. The only negative and I think it's just the way it is with led back lighting, is at off angles the whites can get a little discolored. Nothing drastic, definitely not a deal breaker. Again, I highly recommend this monitor, especially if you are looking for a sub $250 solution.

I like a lot of things about this monitor, and I think the slightly higher price was worth it. Display calibration is FAR better out of the box than most of the other recent monitors I have purchased (mostly Asus), which were horrible until heavily adjusted. There are no bad pixels. Well built and attractive. 25" is a nice size, large enough, without being so large that viewing angle becomes an issue. (From about 36 inches away, which I think is a good distance for this monitor, I don't see any noticeable viewing angle artifacts. I DO start noticing it from 18-20" away, however.)But I have to say that I am not a fan of HP "Brightview" displays, neither on this monitor nor on the several HP laptops I've seen with the same display surface. While it does make the colors "pop" in a way that you don't see with other monitors, it's just too reflective. I have my monitor positioned so that there is no window or light behind me, and my reflection in the monitor is still distracting on a dark display (e.g. movie) just from overhead room lighting. If I had a window behind me, I think the monitor would be unusable. For my vote, HP needs to drop "Brightview" and go back to anti-glare matte surfaces.I'd give this five stars if it weren't for the highly reflective display surface, but I drop it a notch for that.

I went for a balance of price and quality in purchasing this monitor. For the price I am very happy. I am in science so spend a lot of time writing and putting images together for my research, and this works great for my purposes.

the ink cartridge came in a Combo pack and was as it was described. I have used this product before and the ink in the cartridges last quite a while longer than products similar the this

After reading the mixed reviews here and elsewhere on this laptop, I was initially reluctant but decided to try it anyway. I am so glad I did. I bought this to replace a company supplied laptop that just wasn't functioning like I needed it to. Needless to say, I am online all day for work and also use it for personal computing. I couldn't be more pleased with this laptop. It is fast, user friendly, quick setup and so far, it works like a charm. I am not a gamer so I can't speak to that but I did upload photos, easy and crisp picture. Personally, I like the number pad on the side and the "touch" of the keyboard. The track pad is a little off to the left which will take some getting accustomed to but I read that that is for ergonomic reasons so I'm not too concerned. As far as looks, this computer is sharp. For those not concerned with every technical spec but are just looking for a high functioning, multi-tasking computer, I would highly recommend this one.
