Дизайн монитора приятный. Хорошая эргономика. Подставка крепкая (для своей диагонали), так же подставка имеет низкий профиль самой ножки, там самым клавиатуру можно пододвигать непосредственно под монитор.
Монитор имеет регулируемый угол наклона достаточный для настройки его под свой рост.
Что касаемо матрицы и подсветки. Для офисной работы она достаточная. Работа с текстом и в интернете не вызывает дискомфорта. Монитор достаточный для просмотра фильмов и игр (играл в танки).
На работе более десятка мониторов,...

- + Хороший дизайн, не плохая цветопередача. Достаточно тонкий. Два входа DVI-D и VGA
- - По непонятной причине двоится изображение, не всегда, но бывает. Сильно мешает читать текст. Проверил на нескольких маниторах, устанавливал драйверы и менял операционные системы - проблема осталась.
Монитор для офиса, не для дома.

Boy will I ever stay away from anything HP in the future. My monitor goes to black with a cursor in the upper left corner. I called for support. It has been happening for close to a year, but I didn't realize it was the monitor until recently. First, they told me it is "two days until the end of the warranty" so they would of course charge me to help me. I am lucky I had just talked to Microcenter, who confirmed that my warranty had more than a month still on it, and I also had my receipt. HP did not take my word for it, and I had to scan my receipt to them TWICE. I was on the phone for close to 2 hours while they verified, checked etc. They eventually agreed to send another monitor, but needed my credit card so they can charge me for the replacement in case I don't send the other one back. AND!!! If all that is not enough, once I get the replacement I have THREE DAYS to send back the damaged monitor or I will be charged for it. THREE DAYS!!! No weekend on which to do this? Really? Your mighty company needs my broken monitor so fast that when it's in warranty, you need me to take time off work to run to the post office?? Really?I have had this kind of thing come up with other companies, and they have gone a long way to spread good will. I had a $150 Honeywell air purifier break down AFTER the warranty expired and wrote asking if they had any idea how I might be able to fix it myself. I was not asking for a replacement, just ideas. They wrote saying they would replace it for the sake of extending good will, and it was an easy 2 email exchange with one person. At hp, the levels I had to go through and the hoops I needed to jump to get them to honor their own warranty was breathtaking. I really felt dragged through a knothole by the end of the ordeal, and for that reason it wound up shooting my whole Saturday.After I emailed them the receipt, they wrote and said I must email it again.????????All this over an $89 dollar item. I wonder if it was worth it to them to be so tight fisted and lose a customer who would have otherwise bought many more expensive computers from them in the future.I don't know... All this when the monitor was IN WARRANTY??? I'm avoiding HP in the future.

I bought this monitor to serve as my second screen next to my older HP 2009m and was very excited when it came in arrived. The monitor was extremely light and thin, yet I was vastly disappointed when I realized it had no mounting holes whatsoever. It then came as no surprise that my 2009m, which had VESA mounts and internal speakers and is now nearly 4 years old, is still worth almost as much as the 2011x, which has neither.The customer photo uploaded LT ""Sandman"" was rather deceiving since it led me to believe there were mounting holes. As it turns out, he had drilled the holes himself but fortunately described how he did it within his customer review. For those that plan on doing this, HP provides disassembly instructions for this monitor, simply search for it. As for screws, I used an 8-32 x 1/2" truss head with the corresponding nuts and washers. 1/2" was adequate for me but you may need longer screws. For aligning the holes to be drilled, I had to improvise since I did not have the proper tools. I set the monitor on a table surface I knew to be level and with the monitor sitting upright in landscape (you may need an assistant to hold it), I used a level gauge to draw a line parallel to the table where I wanted the top two VESA holes. Next, I found the vertical center based on the circular HP logo on the back. Then, I removed the bracket from my mount to use as a template to find the positions of the holes. To further help alignment, I drilled one hole and place a temporary screw to hold the bracket in place, then drilled the next hole through the bracket; repeat for the last two holes. Washers on both sides of the holes will help distribute the pressure. The monitor will be held by screws through plastic, but since the monitor is so light, support will not be an issue.The color and contrast of this monitor is absolutely amazing. I noticed an immediate difference next to my 2009m, which I had to calibrate the color of to match this monitor. Besides the rather annoying issue of drilling my own mounting holes, I give it 4 stars.

Ok, for the most important thing to me, this monitor DOES NOT have mounting for any other stands. It DOES NOT have the four mounting holes on the back of it, which just about every other monitor made these days does. Which for me was a big let down since I bought two of these for a dual monitor setup with a wall mounted mount. I was very disappointed when I opened these up. But with some redneck manipulation I fixed that real quick. You can take these apart pretty quick and with the 4 hole bracket for my wall mount, I used it in the middle of the back of the back section of the monitor and drilled four holes though the back. I then used a 1" X 3/16" bolt with washer, put that through from the inside of the back section. On the outside of the back section, I used another washer and a nut and tightened, for each bolt (4 total). I put some duck tape over the head of the bolts to protect components of the monitor in case they did touch, which I don't think they do, but better safe then sorry. And at this point I can't return them can I? Then put my bracket from the wall mount over the four bolts and then again used another washer and nut and tightened the mount to the back section. Once that was complete I put the monitor back together and mounted them on my wall mount.To take the monitors apart, you can gentle pry up the trim around the outside of the monitor. This is the trim on the front, it just snaps into the back cover of the monitor. You have to take 5 screws out of the back, two that hold the slide tab for the stand, and then three that hold the cable terminals to the back cover. Once those are out, then pry the front trim off and the monitor screen and everything else will fall out as one unit. This goes without saying, but be careful when doing this. When you put this back together you just slide the monitor screen in and I found that putting the screws in the back was easier when the front trim is still off, you can move the screen around to help line up the holes. And then the front trim just snaps back on to the back cover.So other than that these monitors are great! They are supper light, I was amazed how light they are, yet incredible picture.I'll post up pics in the user submitted photos if possible.

I initially purchased this monitor for an attorney who needed a second portrait-oriented monitor for drafting documents that would put most of us to sleep. Because it was intended to match the right hand (second) monitor it needed to be 20" and due to the Ergotron mount, it needed to be light.Before purchasing this monitor, please note that there are no VESA mounts on the back. You must use the stand that comes with it and that stand elevates the screen just under three inches. This is going to be a very important consideration for a lot of people.As a monitor, the unit performs as expected. Color reproduction runs a little heavy into the blue spectrum and will need to be calibrated if you are a graphic designer... wait hang on. Why are you looking at a 20" screen, designer? Moving on. The back light isn't especially bright and the menu has four default settings (movie, photo, gaming, text) in addition to "custom". After a couple of hours, I'm finding the monitor a bit hard to look at due to the fact the anti-aliasing on fonts looks terrible. At this point, I've further reduced the brightness to level 25/100 to deal with it.Finally, the power cable is non-standard. If your power conversion box goes, you'll have to buy a new one. While it's not likely to happen, it does represent an extra part to lose or break. On the other hand, if you haven't lost or broken the charger attachment for your phone, printer, tablet, or... well you get the idea. People who take good care of their things will probably be fine. People who don't may not want the extra part attached.In short, the monitor that came with this Gateway vastly out-performs the HP monitor that arrived at the office this morning.Pros:+ Price is right+ Slim, light,+ Shiny finish, modern looking case+ Energy efficientCons:+ Limited brightness & color adjustment+ No mounting bracket+ Very short non-adjustable stand+ Non-standard power input+ Shiny surface will scratch easily+ Not as bright as expected from an LED screen+ Gamma is heavily blue, even in warm light mode (cheap LED backlight)+ Poor anti-aliasing, especially on fonts. Edges look chunky.

Originally I had a 15.6in monitor from an off brand. It was beginning to seem to small as gaming progressed and graphics became more intense. I decided it was finally time for an upgrade and a friend highly recommended HP products, as he'd had his monitor for over 5 years without a single incident. I shopped around however, and found most HP monitors for this price were actually cheaper than off brand ones of the same size.I was going to originally go with a 19in HP screen, but when I was looking at the stats they post, I saw the table showing all the different sizes and options available. I ended up with this 20in LED monitor, which came with an adjustable tilt screen and wide base for support. I couldn't have been more pleased just with the base module it comes with, I'd never seen one that could be tilted up and down to accommodate the view! I upgraded from my basic PC cord hook up to a DVI-D cord supported by this monitor and was shocked with how much my picture quality improved for gaming and video settings.This monitor is well worth what I paid, and hopefully I'll have it for many years to come! Very pleased with my purchase and would high recommend HP for gaming PCs!

This monitor is a great LED monitor. The color reproduction is great with rich blacks and vibrant vivd colors. It looks good for a monitor. I know you're thinking, uhh it looks good? But I mean it has nice clean lines. The stand for it is nice, it feels solid on my desk. The tilt is nice, not too much effort to adjust the screen, but enough that you don't worry about it not holding position. I am actually thinking of buying another 1 or 2 of these and setting up a nice large extended desktop. The seller did a great job of getting this shipped out to me quick. I ordered when the big blizzard was hitting the northeast the first week or so of February. Ths monitor actually beat other items that were coming from warmer parts of the country. Good Job DataVision, I will be a repeat customer!

these are very nice monitors!! very clear very good.... we use 3 at each desk here in an accounting office..... we stare at them all day, so a good clear screen is very important!!the only negative thing i can say is they DO NOT HAVE a place on the back of the monitor in order to add a bracket to mount on a monitor stand... howver, the fix was so easy, i could not take away from my overall rating of the product..we simply popped the trim off the front after removing the 5 screws on the back, drilled holes on the back of the monitor, put the bolts in from the inside going outward and mounted the monitors... it was very easy.use the "End of life" instructions on this link to see how to take the monitor apart.. (stop at figure 3)[...]does this void any warranty? i do not know... for 109.00 i was not worried about it...

It arrived fine and packaged very well. I ordered this during the winter months so It was very cold when it arrived. I got it all setup and was pleased with the cords that came with it.The setup and startup was very easy. At startup there was one pink spot on the screen and later disappeared. Then another spot appeared (in a different place) and later disappeared. I was concerned and thought I might have to return it but thank goodnesss I didn't have too. I guess it just needed to warm up inside the house.It works great, doesn't take up much room, and is easy to read off of.

GRAPHICSThis is a very nice monitor as far as the graphics go. It is very bright so there's no problem in day lighting conditions. We don't use it in non-lighted situations but I'm sure the intensity could be adjusted to a very comfortable level. Picture quality is clear and colors are extremely vibrant.WEIGHTThis monitor is VERY LIGHT. Unlike many monitors that are heavy and cumbersome, this monitor is so light that you actually worry about the quality.STANDWhile it is an adequate stand, the adjustability is lacking. It can not be raised or lowered; which is usually the case on most monitors. The tilt is adequate but a little stiff so as to require two hands to adjust.OVERALL I would recommend this to anyone.

The minimum time spent with HP Customer support is 1 Hour. Doesn't matter what the issue is you will spend an hour phonetically spelling you last name "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot . . ." The they will tell you that it is a computer problem rather than their monitor. Yeah, the other monitor I previously had attached just worked miraculously with my brand new top end computer but the HP somehow it can't quite measure up with the HP Monitor. I vowed years ago never to buy another HP product. In a moment of weakness I broke that vow. Never again HP.

I use 3 monitors for work. Two of them started failing (must be around 7 years old). I decided to try the hp2011x to check its readability (I write software for a living). I like the monitor enough to replace the other two. My plan is to rotate the three monitors, but I noticed there isn't the standard hole pattern on the back of the HP2011x, so I can't use standard mounts to hold this monitor in a rotated orientation.

The picture is brilliant. It serves my purposes quite well. We have excellent monitors at work but this one is brighter. I wish I could give it a 5, but the comments about the stand are correct. You have to be a 4'6" person who is peering over the edge of the desk to see the screen the way the stand is set up. Forwarned, though, I just put some index cards under the front edge and I can see it just fine, now.EDIT 12/10/12Another reader explained to me that I had simply not used the swivel. After reading his post, I just moved the screen up, with one hand. I take back my comment. This is one of the best investments I have made. It's brilliant, bright and -- did I mention the screen swivels up or down to adjust to your viewing height?

I agree that the clarity and color of this monitor are great. I've had it for less than a week. Hmm. I wonder how long it'll last?Tips:(1) Text wasn't so good. I'm a programmer, and I use the Courier New font a lot. After fooling around with the OSD controls, I got it much better. Use the OSD to get it into the "Text" settings scheme, and then find the contrast and brightness settings (the manual explains all this). The factory had contrast at 80 and brightness at 90 (out of 100). I set both down to 50, and the text came out much better. I think they think we're all trying to play games (in text mode).(2) It works fine with my old nVidia GeForce4 VGA card. To make a quick check of whether your video card will support 1600 x 900 resolution, go to Control Panel|Display|Settings and use the slider to see how far it will go. That won't tell you what the quality for videos will be, or the performance in gaming, but you'll know (probably) whether your card is a complete no-go or not. It takes the same plain old VGA (or SVGA) signal that a CRT-type monitor takes. If it doesn't go to 1600 x 900, then check your little monitor card booklet, or pdf, or go to their website, because it still might do it. (When I installed the software for this monitor, they knocked down the maximum possible resolution from 1600 x 1200 (max for my card) to 1600 x 900 (max for this monitor)).Joe

gives your home office a new look and easier on the eyes than the old monitor. It is a very good value fo the price. With tablet, laptop and phones to access internet and apps we did not need a high dollar pc monitor. This monitor fit the need very well

Spent about 2 months researching new monitors after my ViewSonic of 7 years decided to call it quits. For the price and features, this thing rocks. Very small footprint, large screen, true color and very crisp. It was plug & play out of the box. It took me longer to unwrap it than to connect it, reboot the tower and watch the magic. Definitely recommended.

My old 17" monitor was getting too fuzzy, but was told by my teenage neice that it wasn't the monitor. So I ordered this larger one and found she was correct. I can see all of my email and don't have to scroll left and right to read all of it.

This was my first time actually purchasing a computer monitor for myself, so I did a lot of research and tried to find the perfect one. This one was suggested to me by Amazon, and I ended up going with it. I'm so glad I did. I received it about a week ago and it is perfect. It's nice and wide, very sturdily built, and lightweight at the same time. The image is really bright, sharp, clear, and colors are very vivid. All of my applications and favorite sites look amazing compared to how they appear on my 2008 Macbook. The monitor is also wide enough so that you can have two windows open in your browser side by side, which I really like. Text is way easier to read on this than my laptop overall.The screen is matte and not glossy, so there is never any glare and it's still easy to see the screen when the sun is shining brightly through the window. One thing to note is that while you can tilt the screen back and forth to adjust it, you can't adjust the height of the monitor itself. This isn't a problem for me. but if you have a short desk you might want to get a monitor stand. Overall, this monitor far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it!

The monitor is beautiful. Flat, doesn't take much room. The only problem i encounter with it, is that people post pictures of it being mounted to the wall. When i got mine it had no holes.. so i had to return it and buy a new one. I guess thats my fault for not researching. READ THIS before you buy, it is a very good monitor but it cannot be mounted.Worth the buy if you do not need to mount it.

We bought this monitor two months ago to replace an old one in my wife's office, which had died. She is extremely satisfied with the performance of this monitor for her normal office uses: MS Office, email, surfing the net, watching YouTube videos, etc.

I bought one back in February of 2011 for a new computer I built. I haven't had any complaints with it since I opened it. Monitor is VERY lightweight, great picture, vivid colors and great for watching movies, editing pictures or surfing the web. Never gets hot and the thin design allows for lots of space for other things on your desk. Very reasonably priced (although I got mine for a discount with a coupon code). I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new monitor!

I was looking for a monitor with native 1600x900 resolution (because that is what I was used to having), and also not wanting to spend a fortune to replace a broken 20-inch widescreen monitor, and this one fit that description. Display is bright and clear. I was happy to find that it was packaged very well and there were no dead pixels. There is tilt adjustment in the base, however, the base does not have height adjustment, and base is a little bit flimsy. For the price, this is a a great monitor.
