- + Конечно объём. Достаточно быстрый. Можно запитать и через молекс и через sata.
- - Греется. Тепловыделение - ужас, когда в первый раз записывал инфу - было 59 градусов! И это в охлаждаемой корзине Thermaltake Kandalf...

Первый мой диск Hitachi и однозначно не последний. Все винты стоят у меня в Scythe Quiet Drive SQD-1000, поэтому насчёт бесшумности моё мнение субъективно.
Температура в нагрузке не превышает 44°.

Сильно шумит.
Диск работает в боксе по USB, как большая флешка.
Даром, что корпус у бокса алюминиевый, после активной работы руку держать невозможно...

In my industry a "purple squirrel" is a person who has unique set of skills that fit a particular job; a person with a such a rare, specialized set of skills and who is difficult to find is sometimes as difficult to locate as a "purple squirrel" might be.I wanted a 7200 rpm drive that wasn't too fast for my old Dell Inspiron 1500-SATA 150 is the top speed of the connection-wasn't too expensive, and had more capacity than my old, failing drive.This drive fit the bill perfectly. It's fast, it's quiet, and it works great. I am in the middle of installing a 64-bit operating system, and the process is noticeably faster and quieter than it was with the older, failing hard drive I had before. hope to get a lot of use out of it while I use my old laptop for improving my technical skills as well as for personal use.

This is the second HDD I bought from same seller and it works perfectly. I bought the second one as an external drive to back up important documents , Music files , videos etc. It arrived on time. I highly recommend this seller, Item was delivered before estimated.

This laptop hard drive was quickly shipped, well packed, and I got it right away. It installed without a problem and to this date has performed perfectly. I'm VERY glad it was available here and that I now have it installed in my laptop.

I purchased one of these for an internal back-up drive for a friend's computer. I'm a believer that internal back-ups make a lot more sense than an external drive for multiple reasons that include faster transfer speeds over SATA than USB 2.0, less wear and tear on the drive, etc...This drive did the job until about a month ago when it developed the all too common 'clicks-of-immanent-death.' Never a quiet drive by any standard, it became crazy loud once it developed a problem. It sounded like a rabid squirrel chomping on nuts. The drive continued to work long enough to get a replacement and transfer over the data, but died soon after. Many who have owned this drive for more than a year are experiencing this same problem (check newegg reviews). It appears that this set of hard drives has well documented reliability issues.Still a good value since you can find these very cheap these days, but be aware that they are prone to problems.If you want a more stable drive, get this one's replacement: HDT721010SLA360. It is cooler, faster, and more energy efficient. It also costs about 30-40% more.

This is a nice drive - very fast and quiet. The price is good too. If you're looking to upgrade your laptop hard drive (as I did) this is a good choice (if your laptop's BIOS supports it) as it's rotational speed is faster than almost all laptop drives (most are 4800 or 5400 rpm) and it has a nice big buffer. While it's a SATA I drive (not SATA II) and is limited to 150MB/sec, most laptop's can't handle the faster SATA II drives throughput anyway AND SATA I is compatible with more laptops.Another good use for this nice and fast drive is as a backup unit. Buy yourself a 2.5" eSATA, firewire or USB enclosure ($10-$70) and make this an external unit.

I don't really have much games, but I like the extra space for movies and such. It's easy to install and it's always nice to have a backup harddrive.

After formatting the drive it appears to be running perfectly off the laptop.Bought it as an open item from Debs Bookshelf for 50 dollars. Fantastic deal.

Pretty easy to install, reasonably quiet, works fine. Not sure what more you can ask for from a hard drive apart from reliability, and it hasn't failed yet.

My IBM-Lenovo ThinkPad T61 came with 160 GB 5400 hard drive it was noisy and slow, so I decided to buy the 7K200 more space + increase in performance is exactly what I was looking for so I purchased it and after installation I immediately noticed that my notebook became at least 15% faster, the palmrest felt cooler and no more clicking sound and I haven't noticed any increase in power consumption I highly recommend this product.

Hitachi Travelstars are fantastic performers and highly reliable. But don't spend your money on this soon to be obsolete model. On May , 200, Hitachi announced the 7K320 - an updated version with a huge, 320GB capacity, that is not only larger and faster than its predecessor, but also consumes less power. Clearly retailers like Amazon are trying to clear out their old inventory before revealing the new model. Don't be a fool - wait for the new one.[...]
