Limited lifetime warranty?
Mine developed a leak near the end where it pulls out of the faucet. I emailed Hansgrohe and was told this is considered wear and tear, and not covered by the warranty.... Seems more like a design flaw to me where it rubs and could be made better. Instead they want to charge you $45 for a new one.

OEM Replacement Part
Is the OEM replacement. I contacted Hansgrohe and they covered this part under their lifetime warranty. However, they said it would take a couple of weeks to get the part "in stock from Germany". We could not have our kitchen sink out of commission for two weeks so in addition to ordering the part under warranty from Hansgrohe, I bought this part from Amazon. It was an easy fix that I completed the same day. The part from Hansgrohe came in about three weeks. I'll keep it as a backup for the next time this happens.

Better than the original hose!
As others stated our hose started leaking just above where the spray handle pulls out. I contacted Hansgrohe and this wasn’t covered under warranty which wasn’t a surprise but it was worth a shot to ask. They sold this hose for $72 and here it was $30 cheaper so it was a no brainer. Purchased it here and installed it in about 10 mins. As stated it is a Hansgrohe hose but surprisingly it pulls out far easier than our original ever did. We're still having problems getting used to not having to jerk the handle out anymore when we want to use it.

Definitely a great replacement!

Don't pull out to avoid leaking again
The former owner installed this faucet. When it was leaking, it took me a lot if time to find the replacement. Not home depot,Menards and ACE. This facet is expensive but has designing flaw. It is a pull-out one. When being pulled out, the curve of tube (lowest point)will be swifted to the section near the qiuck connection. One end of this curve will be the quick connection. If both side are soft or curvable, it will be fine. But qiuck connection is hard part and can't be curved. So all pressure are put on the tube under the connection. My tube was leaking at that piont. It has several tiny leaking holes. From learning it, I think it will be much better not pull it out when using. For this replacement, it is good. Recommanded.

Perfect replacement for leaking tubing on 2005 Metro High Arc.
Replaced spray head of the Metro High Arc about a week ago and after that noticed leaking where it connected to the tubing. Ordered this tubing hoping it would fix issue. Everything worked perfectly. Was a bit worried about getting the tubing through the fixture but since it's a bit thinner than the old tubing everything went through the first time. Took about an hour to replace including dealing with seized up connections, trying to figure out how to unbolt components, etc. (Was my first time doing something like this). But otherwise all good, no leaks, fits quite nice, straightforward replacement.

This review is for hansgrohe 88624000 tubing that I replaced in my 2005 vintage hansgrohe Metro High Arc.

Great OEM Replacement
I called a plumber to fix my leaking sprayer and when he found out it wasn't a brand he dealt with, he told me to find someone else to fix it. So, I searched Amazon, read reviews and ordered this. It took me 10 minutes to replace and no more leaking.
Thank you to everyone who wrote in with their experiences - gave me the courage to do it and to Amazon who had the part I needed!

Junk
The hose is not as pictured above... There is a "snap" connector in the middle of the hose now so that you may work on the part that goes to the water valve independently from the part that goes to the spigot. The snap has not worked correctly since I purchased and has popped several times now making a huge mess. Took the hose to the local plumbing shop and they told me that this is a common problem with this set up and that I should try to get the original hose (as pictured) and not this new set up. This is going back for sure.

Easy to install replacement hose
My husband installed this in less than an hour as a repair for our 3 year old Hansgrohe Talis faucet. He is the kind of guy that fixes minor household issues, but we typically hire professionals more often than not. After reading the reviews, I thought it was going to be difficult and require our plumber, but it wasn’t. The instructions were okay once he determined which set of instructions to use. He found a YouTube video from Hansgrohe that showed how to feed the new hose into the faucet and he got it through on the third try.

Both have been mentioned as problematic but fortunately not in my case
Hose install is fairly straight forward and the instructions were certainly adequate to get the job done. Total time was 1 hour start to finish. As my faucet was fairly old and still had the original hose, i had to convert mine to the quick connect version with the included hose adapter. Had zero trouble threading the hose through the faucet as it’s slightly smaller in diameter. Also had no problem removing the plastic protective cap for the quick connect end of the hose. Both have been mentioned as problematic but fortunately not in my case. Helpful hints...I removed the cabinet doors to make this job easier. Keeps them out of the way and less likely to be damaged. Also, relieve yourself before you start any job :).

Good replacement.
Needed a replacement hose, ordered this and installed. Installed easily. It’s smaller in diameter than the original so I had to find a way to thicken the diameter so the weight would secure under the sink. I wrapped plumbing tape around the new hose about a dozen times and secured the weight over the tape. Works perfect.

This is the third hose I have replaced in 4 years. The faucet is great, the hose not made to last. Next time it leaks I will replace the faucet, needless to say, it will NOT be a Hansgrohe.

Solved My Leak with Hansgrohe Allegro
This is an exact fit for the Hansgrohe Allegro high arc faucet. The first one lasted about 5 years. I am not sure if the Hansgrohe lifetime warranty covers normal wear-and-tear. Perhaps it does, but I needed the hose immediately and Amazon Prime delivered it quickly.

Good replacement for leaking original
We purchased this as a replacement when our original hose began leaking due to rubbing. This hose is a bit smaller in diameter, which was actually a good thing in our case. It slides in and out much easier than the original hose, and there doesn't seem to be any rubbing/friction where it will wear out like the old one. Instructions were clear, and installation was easy. Our original didn't have the quick release under the sink, so having that is a bit of an upgrade.

As a side note, we went to two plumbing supply stores locally to try to get this before ordering from Amazon. One store was a Hansgrohe supplier. Neither had this in stock.

Good replacement
This pull down hose was a replacement for the original one that developed a leak near the handle. This hose is much better in that it pulls out and retracts much more smoothly. The installation was not too bad. The hardest part was trying to reach the connections underneath the sink.

Hope this one works
2nd one in 4 months, I think I got a defective factory one. But this is number 4 overall in 13 years for this unit. These hoses at the compression fittings fail over time when or if it ever hits anything under a sink. Other manufacturers have solved this problem by putting a plastic sheet around the hose so it cannot do this. I have done the same this time to hopefully stop this problem.

Easy instsall
Original Hansgrohe Allegro kitchen faucet installed just over 4 years ago. Hose sprung a leak towards the top close to where it connects w/the faucet. Followed the Hansgrohe internet instructions exactly as the included diagram instructions had extra unnecessary steps. Took me (50+ y.o. stay at home mom) less than 15 min. to replace the hose. Left the plastic tip on for threading back through the faucet. Added the sleeve for the weight after threading. Plastic tip came off easily. Additional short connector hose w/easy release valve that also came w/the package not needed.

Hansgrohe 88624000 Replacement Faucet Hose
Well, I'm sorry we had to go to the trouble and expense to replace the hose on our Hansgrohe faucet that is only a few years old but otherwise the hose worked out well and hope it lasts a longer time than the original. Seemed a little expensive but we were happy to have our faucet working again. We had flooding in the base cabinet due to a failure in the original hose. Husband said it was easy to install, so far so good.

Works fine, but disappointing this has to be replaced again.
Delivery of right item, which in the end works fine; Written instructions missing a few explanations; Hansgrohe telephone contact quite helpful--use them; marked down for the nuisance of having to do this job again.
I am replacing the hose on same faucet, new ten years ago, for third time: first two by plumbers. Here is what I have learned (not in order):
The new hose from Amazon came with both a translucent plastic cover over the lower tip of the hose and the black under-weight sleeve in place; however, the picture instructions received 2017 don’t show either in place, though they show the black sleeve being slid on after the hose is already through the sink from above. I assume that the plastic tip makes threading the hose through the sink easier. It also allowed the black sleeve, which I first slid right up into contact with the tip, to slide down through the opening following the tip. I had to tap the lead end several times a few inches into the canal to allow it to make the turn downward under the handle. On the first failure, I started wondering if I had made a mistake in ignoring one contributor’s comment about pulling a string up through the opening with removal of the old hose. That suggestion mistakenly assumed the hose was to be inserted from below.
Some have wondered how to remove the plastic cover on the tip after insertion. I, too, worried about tearing this off with pliers because of a concern that a scratch on this connection might cause a seal to fail. So I called Hansgrohe at 770 360-9880. Answer: pull hard with hands. I used gloves. It came off fine.
My instructions show the black sleeve going on under the weight. Some had wondered about that. The ?2012 instructions didn’t mention its function, but apparently our previous plumber figured that out.
I didn’t have to install the quick-connect, which might be the hardest part.
Because mine had already been replaced, the quick connect "click" item was already in existence; however, we had a heck of a time getting it to release the old hose. I thought maybe my fingers were too big, so my wife tried it. She also struggled but after about an hour while I was designing and building a pair of pliers with skinny “fingers” attached to the tips, the old hose miraculously released. Apparently we had squeezed it adequately, but hadn’t wiggled the hose around enough to get it “unstuck.” I hope with all the pulling on the thing we haven’t damaged anything. It could have been easier to use the old “not quick” method. [I seem to remember having a similar experience at another location with a quick connect fixture on a Moen faucet hose.]
Getting the old hose off the faucet requires a wrench turning the bell-shaped sleeve in the “unscrew” direction.
Mention has been made by another reviewer that the new attachment might leak for awhile after the replacement. The surface under my sink was wet the next day, and I was sure I had screwed up. I could not tell where it had come from—the quick connect junction? But after drying off the surface and putting a dry bucket under the hose temporarily, the bucket remained dry. So I would advise having the lower loop of the hose drop into a dry bucket for a week just to be sure all is well.
My first replacement was presumably due to unusually high water pressure in my hilly location, the community water tank being substantially higher than my house. We had a terrible water leak that led to our decision to remodel the kitchen while we were doing repairs. Shortly thereafter, the hoses swelled on the new faucets and wouldn’t slide in and out. A sharp person at the kitchen store suggested we measure our water pressure with a $6 gauge attached to an outdoor hose bib. It measured >100psi, which a plumber told me was dangerous. Out pressure regulator had gone bad, and I suspect that might have been the cause of our original disaster, not to mention the later failure of our Hansgrohe hoses. Note that our original product specs list 145psi as max water pressure, but recommended 22—72.5psi. So this is a warning: Unless you live in a flat town where everybody has the same water pressure, check yours. Expensive water leaks due to abnormally high pressure are avoidable, and pressure regulators wear out. The mere existence of a regulator in your house (as a flat-lander transplant to the hills, I didn’t even know we had such a device) means you need to check your pressure regularly. We have been advised to maintain 50—60 psi.
The second replacement in 2014 had no such excuse, and I think Hangrohe sent it free, but we had to pay a lot more than the price of a hose to hire a plumber. Like many on this thread, we found that a surprisingly short life for this item. Now in 2017 we have another pinhole leak at the end of the hose nest to the faucet handle.
This time, I got the answer many others have reported: there is a time limit for free replacements. Their list price appears to be $70, but to their credit, I was immediately given the option of checking Amazon or other distributors for a better price. I assume that the product i received is the same.

NOT a simple fix.
In the end, it got the job done. Our factory hose split after 3 years of use - there is so much on the web about replacement, you know this is a common problem. This universal replacement is a little thicker and stiffer than original equipment. That matters. Watching the Hansgrohe Youtube videos, you would think that replacement is a piece of cake. That is NOT the case. First, you have to take everything apart under the sink. Second, and most importantly, the chances of you snaking that tube through the narrow fittings is one in a million. After wasting 15 minutes trying, I cut a piece of steel picture hanging wire about 3 feet long and used it as a guide wire through the narrow openings. The quick connects are solid, but require strong hands. It took me about 90 minutes total. Months in now, no leaks. Good.

It all worked fine.
I had no trouble installing this product. First, turn off the hot and cold water lines then remove the weight on the hose under the sink. Next disconnect the longer line hose from the short water line hose by pressing in the quick disconnect tabs and pulling the two apart. Then pull out the hose from the sink end. Remove the faucet head. I then placed the new hose next to old hose and made sure there weren't any unknown fittings or parts. I attached the faucet head and left the plastic end cap on to help guide the new hose down into the faucet pipe. I reattached the counter weight, removed the plastic cap and snapped the two hose ends together. For comfort, I also grabbed a couch cushion and placed in front of the cabinet on the floor to rest on as I worked under the sink on this.

Piece of Cake
Easiest plumbing repair I have ever done. It took about 15 minutes. The only tool I needed was a Philips screwdriver. I watched the Hansgrohe video on the product page. It shows step by step directions for removing the old hose and installing the new hose.

This hose appears to be a better designed hose than the one I replaced, which developed a small leak near the pullout faucet head. This hose is flat at the crimp, whereas, the old hose had a bump at the crimp, which is where the leak developed. See photo - old hose left, new hose right.

For the record, I am 75 years old and have arthritis in my back making doing this type of work difficult. Yet, it was not that difficult due to the well designed hose configuration of the Hansgrohe faucet.

Expected more from a German company
1 - Price. For starters, I am disappointed I had to spend $50.00+ for a piece of hardware that is part of the "lifetime warranty" of the Hansgrohe Kitchen Faucet I purchased. This hose is so overpriced it is absurd.

2 - Quality - If Hansgrohe improved the quality of the hose by not using inferior materials, you would not need to replace this hose. The POS was leaking in two places. Such a POS. I suppose a manufacturer does not make a ton of money when the hose lasts forever. In addition, the proprietary design of the hose and fittings makes it all but impossible to use something from your local hardware store.

3 - Honesty - IMHO, Hansgrohe does not honor it's lifetime warranty. This is because they will not send you this hose for free without the original receipt. Who the hell saves those things anyways?

4 - Instructions - The instructions were so poorly written, I felt like I was working with the German Enigma machine. Things missing or wrong:
A - There will be an extra fitting at the end of the install - Would be helpful to know in the documentation
B - The weight that goes on the hose does not fit snugly after using this newer and thinner hose. I suppose that is what the black sleeve is for? To mount it on? I did.
C - It would be very helpful to let consumes know that the plastic nipple on the new hose needs to be removed and is only there for protection and to (I assume) assist in sliding the thing down the faucet barrel during install.
D - The two hoses need to be labeled in the diagrams so that you know which you should be working with during the install.
E - The diagram depicting how to remove the hose makes absolutely no sense. Needs to be done better.

5 - Time - What should take a few minutes to install, took much longer than necessary because of all the issues outlined.

Bottom line, this hose will fix the hose which appears to have been designed to fail. I expect more from a German company.

Going with 4 stars for now because just installed it ...
Going with 4 stars for now because just installed it today. My son is a plumber apprentice. He watched the YouTube video from Hansgrohe and got as far as attempting to thread the new hose in...it wouldn't go. He had to leave for work so I tried it. So frustrated as it seemed to hit a point where it would run into a 'dead end'. So, I did what any woman would do, I called Hansgrohe technical support. He said, "don't force it. Take a deep breath, remain calm and simultaneously twist (left or right) while gently pushing. It works!
NOTE: in the YouTube video she says to threas the original nut into the New hose. Do this BEFORE you thread the hose (or you will get to do it twice...I know)...and, go ahead and screw back on the original faucet head JUST TO MAKE SURE you put the nut on the correct way. Then REMOVE the faucet head again BEFORE you thread the hose into the faucet...because the faucet head is weighty and makes the twist/push job much harder. Once your hose is threaded then put the faucet head back on...weight back on...and done!
