Needed a board to drive the 2700 however even for a matx board it is lacking advanced features to overclock the cpu. And I'm not talking about 5Ghz overclocking, just pushing it to just below the 2700x. However its not too big of a deal RGB fusion is okay, but is very limited, kind of disappointed with that too, more configuration with digital LED's is needed rather than just a small handful of presets.

I've had a really bad experience with this motherboard. Is easy and intuitive to install all the components on it, but after two weeks it stopped working correctly because the DRAM socket was damaged and couldn't boot the BIOS or the OS.
Also, is really hard to remove the 20+4 pin connector. Be careful with bench tests.

While the motherboard can work with 3rd gen ryzen after an update, the process of updating the bios can be painful. You'll need an older am4 processor to actually access the bios to boot. You then need to update the bios to a newer version before updating to the required version. There's better b450m motherboards out there for 3rd gen

The motherboard is ok but when I asembled my PC, install the CPU - Ryzen 5 3600, it didn't do "Power On Self Test" - POST at all. After whole afternoon researching on internet, done many ways to make it POST, nothing happened. It turned out that to make this motherboard to work with Ryzen, a bios must be upgraded. Since the computer did not pass the self test, nothing showed up on the monitor. That meant that there was no way to flash the new bios.
Continued searching, someone suggested that to install a old CPU which the motherboard supported. But I didn't have another CPU. Other people suggested to send it to a PC shop for that. It is way so very annoyed.
I bought another MSI motherboard which its bios can be flashed without the CPU. Now, my newly assembled PC works well.
No more this type of motherboard.
Continued searching, someone suggested that to install a old CPU which the motherboard supported. But I didn't have another CPU. Other people suggested to send it to a PC shop for that. It is way so very annoyed.
I bought another MSI motherboard which its bios can be flashed without the CPU. Now, my newly assembled PC works well.
No more this type of motherboard.

This is a great MB, It is only used with a 1600x but is compatible with Ryzen up to the 3950x. it has the RGB connector i needed where my husbands X470 doesn't and that's meant to be a gaming MB.

The USB 3 on inputs don't work, had to put my old USB 3 pci card in and they now work so isn't the drives i am plunging in.
Keeps saying the USB device you just plunged in as malfunctioned. but plug in in the PCI card and works fine.

L'imballaggio è solito Amazon ma stavolta non mi ha soddisfatto perchè all'interno del cartone di imballo le due scatole (scheda Madre e Cpu) non avevano materiale per far si che non si sballottassero.... Ho controllato comunque che all'interno delle scatole fosse tutto ok e lo era. Vi aggiornerò una volta testate la scheda madre e la cpu. Aggiornamento, tutto funziona alla perfezione e questo binomio è veramente ottimo. Provato a overclocckare il Ryzen sia dal software Ryzen Master sia dal Bios. Mi trovo meglio dal Bios in verità è più semplice. Infatti ho settato la cpu a 3.9 aumentato la tensione e anche i mhz della ram tutto stabile. LA scheda madre fa egregiamente il suo dovere insieme alla Cpu. Molto soddisfatto!

If you go for a smaller neater case as I did you need a smaller neater motherboard. This one was perfect and installed easily in my thermal micro case.

Questa scheda madre di casa gigabyte è una b550 di fascia alta ed è in form factor mini-itx, deriva dalla sua sorella maggiore x570 , analizziamo le specifiche tecniche di questa meraviglia:
le fasi di alimentazioni sono 8 fasi reali(regge cpu fino a 90A, es.3950x) con vrm dissipati da un dissipatore lamellare passivo (VRM Heatsink con heatpipe), troviamo anche un dissipatore per nvme m2 compatibile con standard pcie 4.0, dispone di un bel blackplate posteriore, ed di un secondo slot m2 nvme pcie 3.0, è equipaggita con wifi 82.11 ax (wifi 6) + antenna calamitata, una tra le migliori assieme alle asus rog.
Troviamo 1 slot 4 pin cpu fan, 1 slot fan 4 pin, ed 1 mini slot fan aggiuntivo a 4 pin con adattatore fornito in confezione,adattatore argb, doppio slot per rgb, cavi sata con 4 slot su scheda. la motherboard è ben carozzata troviamo gli slot delle ram rinforzati assieme allo slot pcie. La motherboard possiede led di contorno programmabili e gestibili via software fusion rgb di gigabyte. Buona la dotazione I/O a bordo 5 porte usb 3.2 + 1 type-c porta ethernet 802.3 da 2.5gbit/s, 3 connettori jack audio da 3.5, 2 porte hdmi+ 1 displayport, ideale per le configurazioni APU 3200g e 3400g ed anche per al serie ryzen 5000 future.
Conclusioni: E' una delle mobo mini-itx di fascia alta tra le migliori assieme alle asus rogstrix, di ovvia derivazione delle x570, non ha nulla da invidiare a queste ultime solo il doppio slot nvme m2 4.0( la b550 ha 1 slot 4.0 ed 1 3.0), le frequenze ram supportate dalla b550( max DDR4 XMP Up to 5300MHz+) sono superiori alla X570 , la circuiteria è di pregio adatta a supportare anche cpu piu energivore con tdp alto (105)

Dopo l'acquisto mi sono accorto che manca la porta Type-E sulla scheda madre e poter collegare la porta Type C del'USB 3.1 sul frontale del mio Case ho dovuto un pò smadonnare.
Per il 90% delle persone, questo non è un problema, ma nel mio caso si.
Alcune schede di espansione su PCI-E c'è la possibilità di integrare questa porta Type E e quindi di avere la velocità di 10 Gbits, Il problema che delle prolunghe da estendere il cavo del frontale del case non si trovano da nessuna parte. quindi ho dovuto trasformare il connettore dal Type E 3.1 a IDC 19/20 pin a 3.0 riducendo alla velocità di 5 Gbits la porta.
ovviamente il frontale della mio case (Coller Master MC500M) ho 3 porte IDC 19/20 Pin da intallare su questa scheda madre, ma ne possiede solamente 1.
Ho dovuto comprare una scheda di espansione su PCI-E per aggiungere altre 2 porte IDC 19/20 pin.
Per il resto è un ottima scheda. hanno confermato che il Chip Set B550 sarà compatibile con R 4000 mentre la serie B450 No. quindi è un ottimo acquisto.
Inoltre da considerare che già possiede il PCI Espress 4.0 per le schede video di ultimissima generazione. (serie RTX 3000 in su).
Ottimo Bios e affidabilità prodotto.

Ausstattung ist gut, leider hatte zumindest ich mit dem Board einige Probleme.
Zum einen hat der Lananschluss immer wieder die Verbindung verloren. Neue Treiber brachten zwar etwas Linderung, aber keine Abhilfe. Das Problem scheint auch häufiger mit dem Anschluss von Realtek aufzutreten, ich war da nicht der Einzige.
Nach einem (erfolgreichen) Biosupdate war das Board dann teildefekt. Jeder 3. Startversuch schlug fehl, das herunterfahren unter Windows funktionierte nicht mehr (Windows fuhr runter, PC blieb aber an) und die Lüftersteuerung funktionierte gar nicht mehr. Keiner meiner Lüfter lief mehr an (bzw sie liefen kurz nach dem Boot, gingen dann aber aus, UEFI meinte, es gäbe keine Lüfter).
Ein zurückflashen auf ein älteres Bios brachte keine Abhilfe.
Wäre ja nicht so schlimm gewesen, wenn das Board wenigstens Dual-Bios hätte. Das hatte zwar mein altes B350 für 100 €, aber bei einem Board für 160 € kann man das scheinbar nicht mehr erwarten.
Bei meinem alten B350 hatte ich auch mal Probleme nach einem eigentlich erfolgreichen Flash, was dann durch das Dual-Bios schnell behoben werden konnte. Da klappte dann auch das zurückflashen.
Beide Boards waren übrigens von Gigabyte und bis jetzt auch die einzige Boards, die je beim Flashen Probleme gemacht haben.

Ich bin von einem Asus Prime X370 Pro auf dieses Mainboard gewechselt. WIndows natürlich komplett neu aufgesetzt mit allen Treibern. Der Rechner schaltet sich ständig aus. Beim Ram ist bei 3200 MHZ Schluss, wo ich beim Asus Board bis auf 3800 MHZ hoch gehen kann ohne irgendeine Einstellungen vorzunehmen.
Kann dieses Board gar nicht empfehlen. Es hat von Anfang an massivste Probleme gemacht.
Auch der Boost Takt ist beim Asus um fast 20% höher.
Der Flugsimulator lässt sich mit diesem Board erst gar nicht starten. Mit dem X370 geht alles wie geschmiert.
Nur das Design dieses Bords ist richtig toll. Eine richtige Augenweide. Aber was bringt das?
Habs wieder zurück geschickt. Mit meinem X370 ist nun wieder alles pefekt. Entweder ein X570 Asus oder ich bleib bei meinem X370 Prime Pro

Je n'ai jamais été aussi abasourdi par un produit...
J'ai commandé cette carte mère une première fois, j'en ai reçu une sans antenne. Je l'ai quand même branchée pour voir, et j'ai eu droit à une masse de bugs :
- Activer le xmp donnait des valeurs incorrectes pour la ram et causait des bsod.
- Les 6 ports USB 2.0 étaient inutilisables car y brancher un appareil résultait soit en input lag, soit en déconnections intempestives.
- Et pour couronner le tout, aucune de mes cartes graphiques ne marchaient correctement (artefacts + bsod)
Je tiens à préciser que j'ai procédé à des tests en utilisant 3 alims différentes, 2 cpus (3600 et 3700x), 2 sets de ram (corsair vengeance pro 3200 et gskill 2600) avec et sans XMP, et 3 cartes graphiques différentes qui marchent tous sur d'autres systèmes.
Qu'à cela ne tienne, je me suis dit que c'était un exemplaire endommagé et en ai recommandé un autre, qui lui avait carrément des problèmes de ram même sans xmp en plus des autres problèmes.
Après vérifications en ligne, je suis loin d'être le seul et les solutions que chacun a pu trouver pour alléger les problèmes nécessitent toutes de limiter grandement les options du cpu et carte mère...
Pour ma part je refuse de payer une carte mère à 220 euros puis devoir la limiter à tel point qu'elle devient inférieure à une CM d'une valeur de 80 euros. C'est inadmissible cette absence de contrôle qualité.
