Now, before you order this on Amazon, please try to select the option to order in Amazon packaging (which is an option in checkout, and completely free). This basically puts your monitor in an extra box. My husband and I ordered a monitor, and it came with the screen cracked (clearly someone had dropped the box on the corner during shipping). We decided to re-order again after the seller was very kind and helpful during the return process. We ordered it again, this time requesting it be sent in Amazon packaging, and it arrived with similar damage to the packaging, but absolutely none to the monitor.
Like I said, this monitor is great. I really trust Gigabyte's brand since I have their rtx 2070 super card currently, and they have yet again exceeded expectations. Idk what else I can say, but I've had a good experience with this monitor and seller. I'll be ordering another one soon for myself.

Pros:
- Nice size and has a pretty sleek design on the chassis
- PPI kept most images looking nice and sharp from the distance (Approx. 22 inches) I am away from my monitors. - Brightness is more than adequate for indoor usage with any sunlight coming from behind the monitors, rather than directed towards it
- The 1500R curve is noticeable but fairly slight for this size, so coming from a flat panel will be a relatively painless transition
- Height and tilt adjust are nice features, and if you wanted more, it is VESA compatible if you wanted to use a third party monitor stand
- Since it is using a VA panel, the blacks look nice on this screen compared to a regular IPS panel
- Included 1 HDMI and 1 Display port cable, along with 3 different power cables for different outlet types.
Cons:
- With either HDMI or Display port, there was terrible ghosting happening at their respective max refresh rates: HDMI = 144hz and DP = 165hz
- Due to it using a VA panel, viewing angles are pretty bad, particularly lighter colors from above and below. The sides aren't quite as immediately awful, but they are not what I would consider a good user experience if you were to say show someone your screen from the side
- Blacks look grey with too much light in the room
- Speakers sound god awful, no bass and very sibilant. Although, most monitor speakers aren't that good to begin with
Conclusion:
While the G27QC isn't offensive on any particular front (except for maybe pixel response times), it just doesn't offer any particular advantage over any other monitor at this price point for any given category. Dell, LG, and Samsung will likely have much better colors, although at 1080p rather than 1440p at this price point, but given my experience, I would say that would be the better choice for a content creator on a budget. For gaming, Asus, LG, and Samsung will have better panels that can actually handle their rated refresh rates, again with the compromise of 1080p rather than 1440p.
Note: I am running a Ryzen 5 3600X with an RTX 2060, so I do not believe it was an issue with my system for any of the cons.

It has enough ports (I connect one macbook pro over hdmi @60HZ and one PC with Display Port @ 65HZ), and color customization options such as the black equalizer allow very fine control over the brightness and overall picture quality. The stand is sturdy enough compared to some other budget displays I own from Sceptre and WD. There haven't been any dead pixels in the month I've had it, and the 1440p resolution on a 27 inch monitor is slowly becoming my preferred desktop resolution.
Overall it's a 9/10 display that is more than capable of displaying high-quality, high-FPS content, with good brightness, all at an affordable price.

Edit: In the end I've decided to just go ahead and return this monitor as I just wasn't happy with it in favor of getting a better one. It could just be my gpu, but even attempting to run it at 60hz wasn't getting me anywhere, and I didn't even test it much on any video games. I'm no where close to being an expert on monitors, so maybe it's my fault but I can't seem to solve the ghosting issues I'm having with it, even putting the overdrive to quality didn't help. I just don't have the patience for it is the exact reason why I have decided to return it.

Edit: After another Back-light bleed test there was a little bit of bleed in the bottom left corner but I don't mind.

My only problem with the monitor is the little bit of bleed you get at black screens or transitions. I dont really mess with monitor settings and I'm sure there is a sweet spot to get it to go away but I feel like I tried my best but it still remains.
Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend!

Cons: HDR. The HDR ready rating is laughable. The display can't put out near enough brightness to actually support hdr. However, this monitor is still worth it at this price point.

The blacks are black and there is very minimal backlight bleed. OSD is very convenient.
I like the curve, very immersive.
I changed the gamma setting to "4" and the overdrive setting to "balanced" as I heard this will help with ghosting. As it is now, I can play fps fine. This isn't the fastest panel but I'm very happy.
