Good when new, keys become hard after a few months
I've been using this for a year. The keys were soft when it was new. Over the months, the keys slowly became hard. It was gradual so it was difficult to notice the change until my finger tips started paining and I realised that it's because of the hard keys. This product has around 4.5 rating. I am guessing all have reviewed after purchase and not updated after a year of use!

I loved "Dell"
This is the best PC keyboard I have used so far. Quick type. Laptop feeling! This chiclet is just so lovely. I am sure this is one of the best keyboard for PC. However, there is one problem. I feel the gaps while typing and this mean keys are not where the keys is normally found. This means when tying R you may type T. Migrating from Laptop keys is the issue because in Laptop there is absolutely no gap. I feel one has imagine the keys a little left and it can be get used to. After two days I am 95% corrected the typing errors without looking at the keyboard. I want to take it to 99% in the next 5-6 days. Ihope my will help those who want to get into the technicalities and details. But yes, it does give "that laptop feeling" while pressing them. I think it will be last for more than 5 years even if it is used roughly. You can say "manhandling"

Good for general purpose use, horrible for gaming
Good build and sleek looking keyboard but horrible for gaming.
I got this for playing Fifa but certain comination of keys don't seem to work.
(down+left+x), (up+right+d), (up+right+a) to name a few.
Made a replacement request and the new one had the same issue. Seems like a product defect.
Don't but it if you want to use it for gaming.

Good product, easy to type with soft keys. I have been using it for over a month with my XPS13 DELL laptop and very happy with it. All keys function well.

The keyboard is easy to use, light weight and durable.
I am a programmer who types a lot of code each day. Most of the keyboards I have used has faded the key prints. This is a chiclet keys, easy to type if you are used to laptop keyboards.. Spacing is odd, and even prone to typos.. They keys started getting polished because of the heavy typing. also some keys which i use the most (ctrl, space, a, s, shift, backspace, arrow keys) have started wearing down to bottom. Still the most durable chiclet keyboard I have used. With audio controls, this is the best entry level keyboard.. Still the keys have become noisy...

2. TVS Gold Keyboard with Cherry MX Blue Switches.
3. Asus Cerberus gaming keyboard.
4. This very keyboard for which I am writing a review.
I must say, if you want to do programming, just grab this keyboard with your eyes shut. Superb keyboard. Even if it gets damaged at any point of time, you can certainly buy a new one coz its cheap. Don't get me wrong, This is a durable keyboard. Got comfort for hands, even better than the cooler master's keyboard. I back-light is not a concern, buy this.you can get 11 dell keyboards in price of 1 cooler master masterkeys L pro white led keyboard. I am so happy with this keyboard. Good for normal typing
This is a pretty descent for people who want to do occasional typing. Key travel is good and feedback is okay.
But dont get this keyboard for gaming. Lacks anti ghost support meaning you cannot use 3-4 keys at a time which is important in many games.
For programmers, look for a mechanical keyboard rather than this.

This is smaller than usual size
I am having problems with this keyboard since it is not standard size. Touch typing is difficult since the fingers land on the wrong key. The key size and key spacing is not standard. The product description did not mention this, although it uses the word "compact". I cannot return this also, which is disappointing.

Somewhat dissapointed with the brand.
I am writing this after using it for 4 months now. My Dell Latitude is a small sized laptop with which I used to have Logitech keyboard, which was very good but that belonged to the office. Just a week before the official lockdown announcement I started to work from home and that Logitech stayed back in the office. I always wanted to have a chiclet keyboard and ordered this. The Keyboard itself very solidly built, fill points to that. The problem I am facing is that it will stop working after 3-4 hours of use. First you will notice a lag in response and after that it just stops working. I have three other laptops and it behaves the same. That's the reason for 2 stars.

Easy to use
Fits with my HP laptop
Nice product at a low price.
Compared to laptop keys which are tight, these keys are loose and more space between them,,,but compared to other low price keyboards, in which keys are large and two keys press at a time while pressing one key.. this product is far better than them.

Great keyboard from dell for the price
Perfect keyboard if you use it for non type related works...
Soft keys that make less noise compared to the regular mechanical keyboard.
Has all the keys required including few function keys that cannot be customised
But a very clean looking keyboard with great build quallty for the price

Soft keyboard with rich features from dell
This keyboard comes with cool features and light weight. Works with most of the pcs. The keyboard selected use this device to wake up your pc automatically. You must uncheck if you don't prefer. Just plug and play the rest will be taken care by the keyboard. It even worked when connected with usb extension cable. Soft keys will inspire you to type for long with comfort. Over all a good product I would recommend to family and friends.

If you type a lot consider ergonomic keyboard
bought this for my laptop. this is good for occasional typing. in office i use a ergonomic keyboard. there is a world of difference between them. The flat ones are painful after a long session of typing. The key-press isn't as satisfying as the other keyboard. This one tries to replicate the laptop keyboard. if you like short press type keyboard then you would enjoy it. It is silent type- which you would like based on your preference.

Good buy ( Nice keyboard with brilliant delivery)
I got this keyboard for 719 Rs through seller Cannycom. Very nicely packed and fast delivery from Cannycom and Amazon. Thumbs up for it.
Few highlights :
Keyboard built is good, and keys are nice.
Wire length is adequate even if you CPU is under the table.
Function keys add to the convinience
Having led indicators for caps lock, num lock, etc
Full size keyboard along with numpad
If I nit pick.. only thing that might bother few is size of the keys, they are a bit on smaller side. But I am totally okay with it so 5 star. Overall a good buy and I certainly recommend this keyboard for people getting a work from home set up.

This keyboard isn't that good
The main problem I'm facing is whenever I typing/pressing the buttons some of the buttons get stuck inside. Even while writing these sentences it got stuck multiple times. Using this keyboard for work(especially if it's typing task) and gaming is frustrating. The best thing about this keyboard is it's lightweight and doesn't make much noise. Overall it's an okay product.

I wanted a keyboard that had soft keys which doesn't pain my hands post lot of typing and it thing works good. Although I was looking for laptop keyboard type with very soft keys, but this one works fine as well. No complaints.

Not as expected.... Keys become hard if you dont use for 6-8 months.....
This is just for typing!!! Not if you code...
Coding requires all special characters and moving around the board for them is not fun. Everytime i search for special key, fingers hit some open edged sharp keys on the way and this hurts the pointing finger a lot
UPDATE: This is my 2-year update. Now since its been sitting for close to 8 months without being used, They keys have gone hard.... Most keys only work if you either press it hard or you press it on the center. If you click on one of the sides of the keys, I wont press.... Keys are not soft at alll...... I just dont like this.....

Only wish the hot keys were separate, kinda difficult to remember to enable "Fn" while using them. Also wish there were more hot keys like 'My Computer', 'Calculator', etc. But if you don't require hot keys it's not such a big deal.

It is not for everyday typing
Why I bought it?
To get by 2 months after which I will get my new Mechanical keyboard. And dell is a popular brand of computer hardware so expected a decent quality keyboard.
What I liked?
Well, it does what its core purpose is and that is to send user input to the computer.
What I didn't liked?
1. The amount of force required to register a key is greater than what I expected.
2. Key travel is not sufficient
3. Keys are wobbly.
4. Build quality feels cheap
Conclusion
This keyboard just don't feel right when typing. If you are going to type more than 30 minutes/day I suggest you look somewhere else. If you don't have a big budget but you use keyboard for more than 1 hour/day I think 1500 rupees keyboard will a lot more better than this keyboard and will give you better ROI. Best keyboard for Budget people!
Probably one of the best keyboard at this price point by a branded company. I used this at least one month than I started writing review about it. It is not a mechanical keyboard, but as comfortable as it.
Wide size of keys are good and clicky. Doesn't sound much while typing. Best for for my kind of people like content writers, bloggers, and accountants. Without any issue, you can type more than 10000 per day.
Numerics keys and function Keyes are also available, giving more options to use of it.
Must buy item for any one who using keyboard alot.

One of the fastest keyboards to type.
My headline might seem deceptive since it is no mechanical keyboard, neither does it have a wrist mat, or fancy lights, but this thing is crazy fast to type on, especially if you are a laptop user and used to shallow key depths.
Also it is widely used in a lot of public places and offices and that definitely talks something about it's durability.
The keyboard does feel a little flimsy at first, and I used to type with caution at the beginning, but even with typing speed of over 60wpm, it doesn't wobble a bit. The led indicators could have been better.
The wire is sturdy, though not braided.
I haven't used it much for gaming, but I believe it won't be pretty good to game on, since it does not have the jam-the-switch feeling. It's more like glide-typing if you know what I mean.
Overall a very good keyboard, and highly recommend for laptop users who want the feel of a fast laptop keyboard but with proper size.

Doesn't look genuine keyboard
The buttons are not bright white as seen in photo. The size of buttons is very small and it is not silent type key press.. it does not look original product as I use the same dell keyboard in office. It Looks like a cheep Chinese product. But I got it for 560rs. I would not have paid more for this keyboard... after couple of months I will have to buy a better one...

Brilliant! My WPM (words per minute) has increased dramatically.
I always hated being confined to the laptop's keyboard, buying this felt liberating. It's very easy to keep clean too. I tend to give it a quick, light brush with a 1 inch paint brush, once a week.
Value for money on this purchase for sure!

Buttons are chicklet type. Very soft to touch. Typing is a dream, it's like hot knife moving over butter. Best for someone who has lot of typing to do. Buttons are also having a slight conture to accommodate your fingers. Keyboard Footprint is also small, but at the same time buttons are spaced very well from each other.
Don't think twice, just buy won't regret.

Please verify before buying
It seems to be a Duplicate item. The Keys are little harder to type, but its ok you can manage to type. When you hold the keyboard in your hand it makes some cracking noise, since the plastic quality is very poor.

Could be better
overall its a OK keyboard. Could have been better had they made it faster in terms of response to key strikes. seems like its not able to detect key strikes sometimes and you would need to press more heavily on the keys to evoke a required response.

So smooth and easy. Please do make sure that you have the practise on these kind of soft key keyboards. Those who are more familiar at hard keys may find yourself double clicking the same key. Please make sure that you are touching the keys softly. It's Is a good product for me. You can order it for good quality.

Shaky and noisy keys.
The keyboard wasn't packaged properly. Seal was already opened and it was taped for now. Looks like they sent a piece which was returned by someone.
Deeply disappointed. These sort of things one doesn't face if one get it directly from shop.
The keyboard is light in weight. The look and feel is cheap. The keys are shaky and noisy. They make noise while typing.
It's better to invest little more money and get a keyboard which doesn't keep on making such noise.

Best keyboard for Lap/Desktop with Good ergonomics
Using for past 7 months, the ergonomics is very good.. Got it for my laptop usage,
it is slim and sleek and light weight.. Bought for ₹460 works like an Charm.. There is no print screen button, instead u need to use function+Printscreen button to do it..

Horrible keyboard review after a year
The keyboard is just bad, the buttons get stuck and they don't come back up this used to happen sometimes but now its happening to often. When you are typing the keys get stuck and the same alphabet is repeated the key doesnt come back up until you press it again, this gets very very annoying wasting your time and having to delete the sentence again and again. I would rather suggest to go for another keyboard maybe from logitech or some other brand. I thought dell keyboards are good but i guess i was wrong.

Keys getting stuck
I am using this keyboard since last 6 months around. Initially it was working fine but since last 1-2 weeks the keys started getting stuck and the flow of typing is not smooth because of that. Keys getting harder to press and stuck many times.

Not for gaming!
Bought cause it's listed as a chiclet keyboard. Chiclet keyboards have very low travel so you can rapid press a key and get corresponding input. Unfortunately the key travel is a bit much so you need to wait for the key to come back up and then press the key.
If you insist on using this for gaming, deal with the finger pain as you'll end up pressing the keys really hard while say playing a racing game etc. Also the W, shift and space keys wont work when pressed together.

Sleek and elegant keyboard
The product reached me lightning fast. I ordered the product late saturday night and it was in my hand on Monday evening.
The design is very elegant, the keys are very soft and of short height like Laptop keys.
Less effort goes in typing.

What a Minimalistic keyboard.
the keyboard looks pretty simple and easy to use. after lot of searching for wireless keyboard I have found this wired one but trust me if you are a typist and love to type and everyday use it for your document then you should definitely go for this one without having a second doubt. Even I too had budget of around 1.5 while looking for the keyboard but this dell keyboard makes sense even if you are not getting wireless capability but on other side it is worth paying single penny .
its chicklet keyboard is silent and doesn't annoy you by "tik tik" of normal keyboard and feels soft while typing even better than my sony vaio keyboard out there.
Note: this is not a gamers keyboard and should not be used as for a long time key travel will not be designed which is required for gaming purpose.
all and all its keycap style makes you feel typing easy and smooth.

Plz dont buy this go with another brand as its not multi purpose and not have anti ghosting feature that is so basic plz trust me company is not so fool that they will provide so nice product 1or 3 yr warranty you will get caught i wasted my money now its your wish peace

Good Purchase
By the product image I thought it would have a less key-travel, but the actual product is a little different than the image and seems to made of a low quality plastic. However, when it comes to the job its been bought for, it serves the purpose. The best feature of this keyboard, that I liked, is that it has dedicated volume up, down and mute keys. That's all from my end, afterall its just a keyboard and does what it is made for- perfectly!!!

Only For Light-Weight & "Small Form Factor"
It Is Easy To Use & Portable (Although A Wired One) Because Of It Size & Weight But It IS Not Suitable For Gaming Because Of its Chicet Style Keys. The Elevation Stand Is Too Low For Ergonomics. The Shift Keys Do Not Work Most Of The Time & I Don't Recommend It For Continuous Typing, Only For Just Light Everyday Use.

Best wired USB keyboard at this price
I have been using this at my office. I liked it so much that I ordered one for myseld. At first, I was hesitating to book this as I was thinking whether this keyboard will fit on my laptop or not. Fortunately it was a perfect fit for my laptop. Key height is very small which I liked a lot and makes much easier and smoother to type. Superb
I'm writing this review after using it for six months. Fantastic keyboard. I'm from old school of typing and my typing hovers around 80 wpm. I must say it was easy on my fingers, less strainful, just smooth and perfect.

Compact and Value for money
I bought this product after going through its reviews and I must say that it delivers as I read in its reviews.
The keys are responsive and easy to reach, a bit smaller than my earlier ASUS keyboard but I got used to it pretty soon.
It is compact and lightweight.
The plastic used is not of very high grade and may brake the keyboard if it falls for 5 or 6 feet height at least that's what it looks and feels.
Overall a got buy at this small price.

Update review: good for gaming as it has anti ghosting
Update review: it has anti ghosting for many keys upto 4 combinations. Just tested on metro exodus combinations like w+shift+space are working fine. You can easily buy it for gaming without doubt. Best for both professional works and gaming.

Perfect for home and office usage. Soft touch keys. I got satisfied within 3 minutes after connecting to my PC. My best owned keyboard so far; I am working with computers for nearly 20 years. World class material and finishing.

-Really light, as compared to the keyboards of yesteryears.
-Easy to connect to PC via USB. Basically just "plug and play" type.
-Soundless soft keys, very smooth to operate.
-The multimedia keys work absolutely fine. Speaker volume can be easily controlled with dedicated volume keys.
These were the pros and I couldn't find any cons. Apart from these, the package was delivered absolutely on time, and in a very well-packed manner, thanks to Amazon. A highly recommended product for those on the lookout for a keyboard without shelling out much from their pockets!
