Unit works great
Unit is listed in the picture with wall brackets to hold the condensing unit, but none were supplied. I built a platform to put it on. Unit works great.

Non existent customer service
Had electrical issues immediately and contacted customer service. Tech answering the line was immediately defensive and would not answer some very basic questions from AC technician. He gave us a repair ID number and told us that we would be contacted by Daikin. NEVER HAPPENED!
We resolved issue on our own.
Additionally the AC front cover was wrapped in a protective film. When film was peeled off it left adhesive stains that could not be removed.
We will never deal with Daikin again.

Not completely a DIY install
This is a really nice system overall. I installed most of it myself, but I will say that I wish it would have come with a nice template poster that would assist in the mounting process of the interior system like some of the other DIY systems do. I had to install my system very high on my wall and it wasn't easy to do. However the rest of the install was very easy. I connected the lines to the interior unit and then had a HVAC guy come out and vacuum out the lines and make the final connections. While I was hoping to not have to hire anyone to do this, It does make me feel more confident in the system. I got the 24k btu system and install it in my garage/wood shop. So far it seems to be working great. on a 95 degree day outside I can bring the temp inside the shop down to about 74 degrees in about an hour and a half and keep it there all day. One strange thing is that the ac never seems to turn off. I can't tell if it is just the fan constantly running or if is just needs to constantly run to keep the temp right. I do recommend this system, but please do your planning before you start and take your time.

So far great
The seller has done everything correct. I have asked for a few things, they get back quickly, get it done! The reason my title says “ So far great” is not the seller but the product. I own a lot of mini-splits of different brands. I have found that the cost of a unit does not mean it will last longer than a cheaper one!! It’s a bummer. I have bought two Daikin’s and hope they stand up to what they advertise :) when they work, mini-splits Rock

Good deal, good vendor
In my opinion Daikin makes good stuff, I bought this for my garage workshop, the vendor was great to deal with as well and I feel I got the best deal I could have found on this system, my friend that works for Daikin quoted me more for the same unit lol! For me it was a no brainier.

This unit works great. I hired a professional to install the unit.
Took him about 4 hrs to install. It works great for the BTU size of 9k in my basement.
Pros: cools and heats great, remote works great controlling the unit.
Cons: wifi modular is very costly $169.00. It should be around 60.00 which is an average of other wifi modules.
I will update this product review in 30 days.
Overall I would recommend this product to anyone. I will give it a rating of A- due to the cost fo the wifi module.

Excellent product from a good seller
I bought this unit to install in my garage/workshop. I did the installation myself and then hired a pro to look it over and check system charge. Everything went great and the unit works like a champ. I needed extra length (50ft line set) and the seller accommodated that with no problem, and very quickly. The reason I went with this Daikin is because my HVAC pro recommended it and said he has multiple units in his shop. I would recommend having a pro install this unit for the average homeowner. If you are somewhat handy, it’s not that hard to install. The instructions are a little lean on detail however.

Great Technical Service
I originally posted a one star review because we couldn't get the unit to turn on after installation. I called the company for technical support (looked them up on the internet) and spoke with Daniel. He had us take a picture of the wiring inside and outside. We sent him the pictures. He immediately told us we had one of the wires in the wrong position. We corrected it and the unit immediately started functioning properly! Thank you Daniel!!

Waste of money and time
Spent $1200 for professional install and unit is faulty. Has constriction somewhere in the system. Vacuum and coolant levels are fine .

It would be great if it didn't make that noise.
works great at cooling my place, but on the outside unit it makes this annoying vibrating sound from this little round plastic piece that you can see from underneath. The outside unit was mounted up high on exterior wall.

Amazing. Cools our 1200 sq ft home with ease. Replace an outdated swamp cooler with this and no difference in energy bill. If your on the fence do it this is the best.

Great Investment.
Cooks very well and fast. Master bedroom was the warmest room in the house when running the AC. I now keep my T-Stat at a much warmer temp at night and Crank this sucker down in the bedroom. We are sleeping better than we have in years!! Wish I got this a long time ago. Electric bill is $100 less per month. Can’t wait to see what the August bill looks like, I bet I save $200!!! Good investment for me.

We took out old 80's baseboard heaters and installed this in our main bath with very high ceilings. It's fabulous! Best price we found online, I'm toasty in my tub, thanks!!!

This unit works really well cool the house down nicely
It was fairly easy to install I didn't realize that I had to use at least 10 feet of line set got my Unit A Little Too Close had to call up the line set but that was my fault added it to my house to help on the really hot days and it works outstandingly I believe it was well worth the money I paid for it

Awesome.
The AC cooling is great for our 800 sq ft living room & family room. Amazing how cool it keeps it. the coolness even makes its way into the dining room & kitchen. Have not been able to use the heat yet but if it is half as good as the cool it will also be great. Circulates the cool air nicely. Highly recommend.

Solid unit works as designed and virtually silent
Works well heats the room nicely expect on very cold days below 30F since unit uses outside air to heat before distributing the air in the room , but overall great AC and Heating from this unit

Very nice unit, professional installation recommended
Fast delivery, shipping company setup delivery time and was prompt. Came on very nice hardwood skid. Easy to install, need r410a adapter for line set to split unit.

do not buy Daikin
i purchased Daikin somewhere else,not on Amazon.Unit it was installed by HVAC technician but it turned out DOA and never worked.went thru the hell with Daikin and they refused warranty repair or replacement because product was not purchased thru official distributor.Never again Daikin

Noisy cause fan runs constantly in AC mode
Had my unit installed by dealer. Works ok except when in AC mode with fan set on automatic the fan constantly runs. As a result it’s annoyingly noisy.
