After my last mechanical keyboard was finally giving up the ghost, I've been looking for a good replacement. I'd heard good things about Corsair before, and this one was within my price range. Based on other reviews, I was prepared for another super clicky, loud experience like my previous, cheaper keyboard was. The clicks being loud wasn't a deterrent, but I am happily surprised that it is, in fact, MUCH softer than I was led to believe. There is still a good, solid click, but it is not metal-on-metal loudness at all. The keys are very responsive, which has been a boon for gaming and typing alike. Definitely, if you are considering this model- go for the SE with magnetic wrist rest. I've tried using this without, but the rest is far more comfortable. Very much worth getting it.

It has a great response time but the keyboard itself seems like it's catering to typing more than it is to gaming. It's almost impossible to use without this rugburn-inducing wrist pad because the edge of the keys ends up jabbing into your fingers without it. the pad has many bumps in the fabric to increase traction but that's not something you really want sliding up against your skin constantly. The keys are also too stiff even for a mechanical keyboard. If you like typing with your wrist resting against the table or have even remotely sensitive skin then I would not suggest this keyboard.

I like the solid, sturdy feel of this keyboard. The colour and function of the keys can be modified using iCue software. I programmed a keyboard profile so I don't need the FN key to use the media keys. I also like that the keyboard doesn't use alot of desk space for a full size keyboard.

This is my first Mechanical Keyboard, and after a search I came to a solution to buy this one with the Viola switches. These are fine, but sometimes I find myself press a key without any intention.
Took me a couple of days to get used to another keyboard after having a laptop, but after 2 months I can fully recommend on Corsair's K60 RGB Pro SE keyboard, and from the collection of K60, this one is the worthy one.
I still have a crave to brown swtiches, but these are way above my budget.
Hope you'll make the right choice after all!

Ive used nicer feeling keyboards but not by an overt amount. Feels very nice to use is reasonably quiet and serves my purposes well. I've got no complaints. I've actually spilled water on it a couple times now and it took it like a champ. Dumb luck or not i consider the purchase a win

I have been a pretty big fan of Corsair products for a while, despite their ridiculous overpricing. This keyboard was a HUGE disappointment. Part of it was me trying to adjust to the clickiness, which was way too loud for my liking. (I knew it would be noisy, but holy crap) That I will put on me for buying a noisy keyboard. I did NOT, however, sign up to get a piece of trash that would start to fall apart within only 6 months of purchase. This is an almost $100 keyboard and after only 5 months or so of use, the tab key sensor is already not working properly, the spacebar is only somewhat functional...
Aside from it being made of flimsy feeling parts, the RGB is meh. Corsair's RGB software is always overly complicated and it doesn't seem very customizable despite how annoying the software is.
Not a horrible buy, but not a great one either, considering the price.

Bought this keyboard as an interim for setting up a new Alienware desktop. Always appreciated the heft and stability of the Corsair small keyboard I used to use but pass on to another. The mechanical key mechanism is also superb.
However, the reason I passed on that other Corsair keyboard was because the Corsair software really, really sucked at the time, and I went full Razer instead. The much newer keyboard STILL has software issues. Lighting blanks at various times, not to come back without starting and stopping the iCue software. The macro binding for a Corsair multi-button mouse is still obscure to the point of uselessness, and I cut my teeth on similarly obscure but decades-old programming schemes.
The keyboard as a simple keyboard is tremendous for the price. Shame the software will have me either passing this one along to someone or using it with a laptop driving an external monitor..

Muy buen teclado para los que desean invertir un poco mas en su salud, sirve para jugar y tambien para cualquier persona que use regularmente un teclado. Es comodo al teclear , rapido en respuesta y demás.

Pretty good quality hardware a couple weeks in but be careful with the software, any updates or forced updates could reset any changes mad in the iCUE.

Todo está excelente, pero...
El producto es tal y como se describe, sin embargo el único y gran defecto es que hay veces que la barra espaciadora al apretarla escribe más de 1 espacio, lo cual es un poco molesto, pero por suerte no ocurre muy a menudo. Hay personas a las cuales este detalle le puede parecer bastante importante, no es mi caso, pero de todas maneras es algo que tengo que mencionar sobre este producto. Por lo demás todo está bastante bien y funciona a la perfección.

Full disclosure I'm not a gamer, I just needed a keyboard with backlight :D.
And I couldn't ask for more, I got this on a deal for $69.99, but now that I got the product I think the $99 price is totally reasonable. The top of the keyboard is aluminum with a gorgeous brushed finish, and the backlight is BEAUTIFUL, and also the palm rest is GREAT, super comfortable.
I couldn't be happier!

I purchased one Corsair K60 in Used -- Very Good condition. This keyboard was entering multiple spaces each time I hit the spacebar. I returned it for a prompt refund, and ordered another. The second one was ordered in Used -- Like New condition. It had a loose keycap for the left Alt key, but otherwise functioned well. After nearly a month, this keyboard is also now producing multiple spaces for each time I hit the space bar.
This is a very good feeling keyboard, lights up well, and is very quiet, but it seems it is not reliable. I'm returning this one, too, and hunting for a better alternative that won't break the bank. I'm done with Corsair keyboards for the foreseeable future.

I love this keyboard, but had to return it twice. The first one t he = button didn't work. I program so t his w as a no go. The s econd one(which im t yping on now) has some strange problems with t he space bar. Some times it doubles spaces other times it spaces in the middle of the worlds. I love t he size, the keys, colors, and f eel. The only thing is t he s witches just suck.

Keyboard looks and feels nice, but the spacebar double spaces almost every time you hit it. This started the very first day I received the product. My very first Corsair keyboard and my very last.. I'm not even going to fix the double spacing on this review because of this keyboard. It is an instant return for me, not worth the $70 it costs . I've had multiple $20-$40 keyboards that never had any key issues.
I also tried to reset the keyboard multiple times as per MFR guidance, but nothing did the trick so it is not worth the hassle of keeping it.

After owning this keyboard for a little more than 6 months I've come to realize it's the worst keyboard I have ever owned.
It double spaces on its own and after 4 months of maybe using for 2-3 hours a day the keys are starting to break off.
Would I buy another one; no.

This keyboard has many pros. The keys feel solid and premium as does the main chassis. Great key travel as well. Only thing I would ask for is hot swappable switches since this does not use the switch I prefer for most keys

The keyboard is nice. But it was sent in its box as it is. Not placed in a shipping box or bubbles wrapped. And know and behold the corner of the aluminum is dented.

This was my first high end keyboard purchase and the build quality of this keyboard is great. The switches suck.
The only other mechanical switch i have ever used was a Chinese knockoff cherry brown on a 30$ cheapo keyboard and it lasted forever with no problems. After only 3 months of use the cherry viola switches that i use the most are developing a loud pinging sound and are starting to feel different from the ones i use less often.
I wanted to replace a few of the ones that had gotten the worst and it turns out you cant get the switches anywhere so them being hotswappable means absolutely nothing. So spend the extra money and get a keyboard with a better switch at this point i just have to bear with it and hope that i will be able to purchase replacement switches at some point in the future.
Update 8/1/2022: Its been about a year and a half since I bought the keyboard and the keys have started to chatter meaning I will press a button once and sometimes randomly the keyboard will read the button press 2 or even 3 times it started a few months ago and has gotten worse as time went on. The key chatter is confined to about 10 keys a this point . As an example I did not press spacebar twice before "10" that was a double input. Its a pain to type and game with and I guess I'm gonna have to buy a new keyboard now and throw the malfunctioning paperweight in the closet.

I'm not good at typing or at gaming but I do know that this keyboard seems to be an incredible keyboard. It's made so well and I'm excited to get to learn to be a better typist. Not only does it seem to be great quality but its illumination is wonderful to. I'm really happy with it.

-Wrist pad is comfortable.
