I was looking for a keyboard to replace my older version of the Logitech Carbon 512 that had the roamer G switches that have issues with the keycap stems breaking off. I LOVE the feel of that keyboard and was looking for something that looked and felt similar. The lighting of this keyboard is less subtle than the 512, but still very clean and pleasing to the eye. The feel is abysmal comparatively.
Pros: Beautiful. Wonderful layout. Simplistic, yet extremely customizable rgb wise.
Cons: SUPER cheap feeling and sounding. The moment I touched the keyboard taking it out of the box, I was 99% sure I was going to hate it. Decided to give it a try, and make myself use it, and hate it even more. LOL.
If you have a kid getting into gaming that wants an rgb mechanical keyboard that is quiet on the press, this is a good option. The release of the keys is what makes all the crappy noise, since the quality and cheapness of the feel of the whole keyboard is what causes it. The lighting is wonderful. If you're new to rgb and don't care about the sound and feel of the keyboard, this would also be a good option for you.
I will be returning this keyboard and continuing my hunt for a new one.

My son had one that I had purchased earlier this year. Seeing how it lit up the kid in me wanted one. I got one that was in the warehouse. Came in perfect condition. I love it... Now, I get to have the colorful keyboard.

Ive had a cosair keyboard for years that really solid so was surprised when I bought this one (they don't sell mine anymore) I was surprised to find out it was mostly thin plastic. It's a bout half the wieght of my original cosair keyboard. It works but just not the same.

i've been using it for a year now. its great and to boot it appears to be spill resistant. i accidently dumped a entire can of pepsi directly into the middle of the keyboard. Had to remove all keys and sprayed down keyboard with alcohol and paper towel. through all keys in tupper ware with water and a bit of dish soap.
3 hours of dry time just too make sure it was dry and its good as new.

Once you break it in you start to feel and hear the springs under some of the keys which some might find problematic. Other than that though it is a nice keyboard.
I don't recommend to use this on your main PC since their are better keyboard to be had at this price range, I use it on my backup PC. My k70 brown switch is literally a night and day difference.

I do NOT recommend this keyboard. I bought this keyboard in August of 2021, and it has officially been falling apart as of November of 2022. I expect my keyboards to at least last me a few years, but this thing started falling apart after a year of use.
Multiple of my keys began to pop off on their own, and don't exactly fit anymore like they used to, which essentially means if I am typing very quickly, they will continually pop off which is EXTREMELY annoying when gaming.
To make things worse, certain keys began to stop working, such as my down arrow key. Whenever I hold it down, the input is sporadic rather than continuos.
Ultimately, I think you should find something else, this keyboard suffers major quality issues.

I'm literally typing this review on this keyboard. I can't believe I wrote books without this thing before. Gaming keyboards are amazing tools for writing. The keys are easy to press, they sound nice and clicky, and the wrist pad thing is super comfortable and not annoying. You can download the iCue app and program different lightshows, some of which are responsive to typing (doesn't work GREAT if you're on the higher end of typing speeds, but still looks neat).

To start out, I really like this keyboard. A lot of my comments follow what other reviews have said.
Yes the keyboard is a bit loud as others have stated, but it isn't an issue for me, so I couldn't put it as a pro or con.
Pros -
The keyboard feels nice, it is heavy and feels like it has quality materials.
The lighting controls work with the iCUE software and there are many customizable options and profiles.

I purchased this to replace an older Razer keyboard that had finally died on me after almost 8 years of service. Out of the box, I was impressed with the way it looked and felt, but that was short lived. For me, the keys just didn''t have that feel that I was used to, so I brushed it off as something I'll just get used to after using. However, things only got worse from there when the key chatter started within 2 days. I'd be typing away in a document, then all of a sudden I notice my words are 2-3 spaces away from one another and full of duplicate letters.
Went through some troubleshooting steps in case it was a software/driver issue, but no luck. End result was returning this and purchasing something else.

Este teclado al inicio no queria por el precio pero al ver las reseñas me anime a comprarlo, y vaya que valio la pena cada centavo, ya que las teclas son muy comodas al tacto y los switches del teclado son muy buenos. Lo recomendo ampliamente ya que aparte de lo anterior comentado es comodo en todo sentido, el tamaño compacto que tiene hace pensar que tienes un teclado de 75% asi mismo el hecho de que se pueda personalizar cada una de las teclas y funciones que tiene lo hace mejor aun, ya llevo usandolo mas de 1 año y no tengo ninguna queja.

Just be aware that the switches used in this keyboard are essentially "half mechanical"; a new development from cherry. This keyboard is not clicky and the switches are not special in any particular way but it gets the job done and the wrist rest is great so I'll give 5 stars.

First delivery unfortunately had the issue of having certain key presses registering as multiple. The Spacebar and several alphabet keys were the main ones for me which caused it to be very frustrating to type.
Briefly rated ergonomics for the gap of the base of the keyboard where your wrist would be resting. I used an earlier wrist rest from a previous corsair computer to make it better.

Bought for $80, 20% off. Gotta say probably one of the best budget keyboards I've used. The keycap actuation force is fairly heavier then most other keyboards, but that's why I purchased this over the other mechanical keyboards on the market. The palm rest is phenomenal, and the whole quality of the board is better then I expected.

I'm gonna wriite thiis review wiithout deletiing the cchatter, so people know what it's acctually like. Amaziing keyboard for about 8 months, but afterword the cchatter on iit gets horrible. Right now iit's liimited to just the I and CC keys, but this problem arose overnight, so ii'm sure there's more to ccome. Agaiin, great for about 8 months only.

I've been using this keyboard for about 2 weeks now, and I think this is a good keyboard. Some positives are that it's comfortable (At least for me), and it looks nice. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the Viola switches, but I've gotten used to it. As of for negatives, there is an annoying pinging noise when pressing keys.

This is my entry into mechanical keyboards, so I cannot accurately compare the switches to others, but to me they feel great. I love the sound, and feel of typing on these keys.
The leds are bright, vivid, and very customizable.
Build quality and comfort are exactly what you should expect for your money.
Corsair outdid themselves with this board, and I couldn’t be happier.
For me personally, there are no cons, but somethings I could see being an issue for some:
No detachable cord
Switches are not hot swappable, swapping switches will void your warranty
The feel of the viola switches may be an issue for a person who has interacted with many different types of switches in the past
No dedicated multimedia keys (the controls are still there with “fn + F10” for example”
If you’re looking for a budget friendly, feature rich, well built keyboard, you’ve just found it.

Build quality and comfort are exactly what you should expect for your money.

It's an interesting feeling switch to say the least, coming from cherry mx browns. Took a few days to get used to but I do now prefer this boards dull clack sound and travel curve over some of the other mx boards, even though this is considered to be a budget switch. Travel is a lot heavier but fairly smooth. Some keys may sound a bit squeaky/scratchy and the space bar is like hitting a gong at times on the se version, but it's a satisfying feeling nonetheless. Pbt Keys are very stable with box design, no rattle. Overall It's a solid board, aside from those scratchy keys. Hope they will allow us to swap these switches with other violas in the future.

The keyboard feels really nice to type with and looks really good. The lighting looks great and I love the size and shape of it. However, I have been having issues getting the Corsair iCUE program to work properly. It says that an RGB configuration has been saved to the hardware, in theory making it to where iCUE doesn't have to be open for the configuration to work. However, no matter how many different things that I try, it does not. It always defaults to the rainbow pattern. Another MAJOR issue is that this keyboard, after being used for a mere 3 months, is starting to have glitchy and unresponsive keys, and it seems utterly random. Sometimes my A keys input is inconsistent. I could be holding the key and it will type a few As, stop, type a few As, and stop, or I'll hit is once and it will input 3 As. This behavior appears on random keys and then disappears a few hours later. It's extremely bizarre, and I for the life of me can't figure out what the problem is. Tried searching online and couldn't find anything relating to this. Honestly wish I never would have bought the damn thing.
ps. It's definitely not a power supply issue as I've crunched the numbers and have plenty of overhead.

I dont often leave reviews but I thought I should on this one. I love corsair products but this keyboard kind of stinks and here’s why...
First off the positives, the wrist pad is great and very comfortable, the RGB lighting and connectivity is wonderful and the key feel/response is about what you would expect. Now for the negatives, the keyboard makes the most annoying cling sound I’ve ever heard when typing. Every key pressed even if pressed slightly has a cling sound. This sound comes from the metal plate that although esthetically pleasing picks up the vibration from each press and creates this annoying sound that just gets more noticeable with time. Another horrible aspect of this keyboard is the look. From the top view it’s great but looking from a side vide or an angle, which most people will be seeing this keyboard from, you see a horrible white plastic under each key. This white plastic looks cheap and bad, when the RGB is lit it’s fine but when it’s off it makes the keyboard look like something you picked up in the children’s toy section. Overall, not worth a $100 and one of the poorest quality keyboards I have ever seen from Corsair. I returned this item and purchased the K95 on sale which is far superior but costs more and still has a cling sound but for some reason seems to be less noticeable.
*sorry for no pics I was so disgusted I repackaged it and returned as soon as possible. But I’m sure their is something online talking about this. See and listen for yourself before buying.

I was interested in the K60 since it was announced. The new Cherry Viola switches perked my interest. After using the board for about a week now here are my thoughts:
- Definitely worth getting the SE just for the wrist rest. Great quality and super comfortable!
- The RGB really pops on this board. I like that I have so many options on the board itself as I've never been a huge fan of the iCue software.
- The Viola switches are interesting. The board more or less functions like a linear switch while gaming. The responsiveness has been really nice.
- The switches are very quite. If that's the kind of board you are looking for then this is absolutely the board for you.
- Again it's worth getting the SE just for the PBT keycaps, they are really nice. Not seeing grime, residue or marks building up. The RGB really shines through nice as well.

Escape key didn't work as soon as I got it. Well, it worked, but it would get stuck in the down position and you would have to fiddle with it to get it to come back up. Got approved for a return. I used it for a while longer while I considered what keyboard I should get as a replacement as I didn't like how high the keys were. Considered the low-profile version. However, after using this thing hardly at all for a few weeks it completely died! I have decided against getting a corsair keyboard. I just feel like most Corsair products aside from their actual computer components are cheap and lack longevity (and I have a Corsair power supply + ram that has lasted many years). It's a shame because I prefer their mice: but again, the switches wear out within 2-3 years in my experience. Switched back to my $15 logitech keyboard while I figure out what to replace it with. Oh, also, yes, it has an aluminum frame, but only for the base, not the working parts of the keys themselves. That is all just plastic.
