We updated a program on our server. The update required more memory than we had. When we received it, one of the memory chips didn't work. I was so impressed that Amazon replaced the chip immediately. Now the server runs faster and the new program works well.

Good RAM, but I have to give a lower star rating as warning that not all modules will work. Only 1 of the 2 modules worked. I tried various things to make sure it was the module and not the machines I tried it on (3 DELLs). Definitely the module. Anyway, I have mixed feelings about the product because I will have to exchange one of the modules and I know that can take weeks.

The Corsair Memory works great and had no compatability problems with the other major brand of memory already installed.Cost was good compared to other popular brands.All in all, it just works. And I have never had a bad stick of Corsair memory.

I'm upgrading an old system with an Intel 865perl motherboard, so I bought this kit. It made quite a difference in the overall performance. Before buying this kit I'd bought CMC2GX1M2A400C3, but I had some compatibility issues and the sticks didn't post every time.

This is simply good memory and it wont crash and burn like PNY memory does. If your considering a good, low density memory for a desktop..then this it. It performs like the big money brands..Kingston...Crucial..at about half the price. Best memory for the money on Amazon.

I put this memory in my Mom's Compaq Presario SR1830NX to get her PC up to the max 3GB that Windows XP 32 will recognize. It worked great, she is very happy with the upgrade.

I bought Corsair memory for my personal desktop to increase memory from 1.5gb to 2.0 gb. A friend, who works in the IT field, told me that all chips are produced by the same manufacturer, and thus, I should by the least expensive, which happened to be Corsair. Although my system booted after the installation, I saw little improvement in speed. However, the real problem was that my system would freeze - constantly - in any and all of my programs. Then it became an even bigger problem. My system began shutting down and restarting on its own while I was in the midst of doing work. As soon as I replaced the Corsair memory with the original, all problems ceased. I then returned the Corsair and and ordered PNY.

The Corsair memory installed with no problems and my pc is working excellent. I would recommend Corsair to anyone wishing to upgrade or replace old memory. As usual they provided a quality product and Amazon got it to me in a hurry and in perfect condition.

I ordered two sticks to upgrade an older machine, an Opteron 185 system. Started having bluescreens as soon as it was installed. Pulled all sticks and tested these: one would not even POST, the other would not boot the system.

Purchased this kit to upgrade my wife's co-worker's PC. The original PC configuration was only 256MB, and, boy! What a difference this kit made when I plugged them in! I ran Prime95 for 4 hours to test any memory problems and got none so far. A great bang for the buck considering the kit is lifetime warranty!

Installed this product on an older Dell computer and it runs great. I have had absolutely NO performance issues with this memory at all and even if it isn't the fastest memory out there, it made a huge difference on this computer and is very reliable. Excellent price on it as well. I would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased these to give my 6yrs old PC a little boost and they worked like a charm. They were easy to install and the leap in performance was amazing.I was able to play new video games without a problem.They may seem pricey but buying a matched set is always better than buying one board of equivalent memory (for DDR). The bottleneck is usually the bus speed. Having two memory boards will allow the memory controller to use two buses instead of one bus for one memory board.The quality so far has been great and they are still running.

I needed a system that can handle multiple VMWare images, but didn't have the finances to purchase a new one. This memory allowed me to max out my Dell 4600 desktop to run four VMWare images simultaneously. While not fast, it's much better than it was and I can do the work I need. Highly recommended to keep an old system going.

This memory only registered as 1.4 GB installed, I could not verify that this was single sided memory and when I got it, I discovered it was double sided which is not supported on my computer.

I have to say first of all that Corsair products are truly well-made. Over the past six years I have purchased Power Supply's, Ram, Hard Drives, and even a Keyboard from them, and they have all met or exceeded my expectations. All of my products to this day are in full working condition, and this ram is no exception. After a year there has been absolutely no problems, and my computer is noticeably faster and more capable of handling multiple tasks. The price is a little high, but you know you're getting a quality product, and it's worth every penny. Overall, another great product that won't let you down.

This works great in my original Dell XPS. It isn't the fastest or biggest RAM available anymore, but it is the fastest and biggest that my laptop can use. It has helped a lot to extend the useful life of my aging laptop.

When you're dealing with RAM this old (and a computer old enough to use it), all that ends up mattering is that it works. This RAM does work, and much faster than expected. There were no installation woes (the ease of installation greatly depends on the computer it's being installed in; I installed mine in a Dell Latitude C610), but this RAM is greatly overpriced. Even scarier, the Amazon price of $45 was the lowest price for any gigabyte of PC3200 I could find. At $45 per gigabyte, this RAM better be good!

One module was dead on arrival. I sent both sticks back for a refund and opted to buy PNY Optima ram instead. The PNY sticks worked like a charm. Amazon made the return process a breeze.

I bought this product for my Dell Dimension B110 which had 512 MB of memory. After I installed the memory, the computer recognize the 2GB of memory but once I logged-in...I did not notice any change in speed. The computer was still slow booting up and clicking on icons did not open any faster, as when I had 512 MB memory in my computer.It wasn't until my computer got reformatted, then I notice my computer got faster. The computer loads faster and icons open faster when I click on them.To bad 2GB is the max. that I could put in my computer.P.S. I also received my rebate check from Corsair without any problems.

I stuck a few of these into an older system to "spruce" it up. Did a great job. Just remember the memory limitations of 32 versus 64 bit systems. Make sure the RAM is running at the correct speed by double-checking the settings in your BIOS.

I installed this memory about a month ago.I got it in the mail, and had this memory installed in less than ten minutes. My computer is almost four years old, and it recognized the new memory with no problems. I now have 2.5 gigs of memory. I've noticed a nice boost in performance. Nothing miraculous, but nice. The machine doesn't slow down as much as it did before, when more than one program is running, and my browsers are snappier. And that is the whole point of adding extra memory!I don't know what else to say. The memory installs easily;disconnect the power cord, slip the side off the computer, flip the end clips up, take out the old sticks, snap the new sticks into the slots in matched pairs, flip down the end clips, close her back up, and reconnect the power cord.[...]And yeah I know I've got a lot of 5 star reviews, but hey, if I can't find anything to ding a product for, I won't.As long as things meet my expectations, and they work, I'm fairly easy to please, LOL.And I have no connections with any company, or product, other than I purchased the product, just in case you're wondering:)

Good price and service. That says it all. Also, when adding memory Corsair likes it's own in my experience. Installed without a hitch. The BIOS recognized the addition and all went well. Tried to upgrade the existing Corsair memory with a different brand and promptly had rounds with the blue screen of death. IF you have Corsair, stick with it. There may be others that work well or give more for performance minded users, but this is working just fine for me.

The Corsair Memory kit VS2GBKIT400C3 2 GB has been a pleasing addition to my computer. The working speed has increased greatly from the 512 that came with the Dell CPU. Even through the kit came with installation instructions, the hardest chore was getting the cover off the CPU to get to the chips. Otherwise it was easy to install. You can immediately tell I'm not a computer geek but I do know results.

I purchased this ram for my dad's office computer. It's a P4, about 5-6 years old, and only had 512 mb of ram! Add to that the fact that my mom refuses to ditch AOL and their computer was getting really sluggish.I told my dad he could put off buying a computer for a while and just install some new RAM and it has worked like a charm. RAM has speeded up the system considerably and it was a hassle-free experience. Good price, fast shipping, and although I haven't had to use it, good customer service.I definitily reccommend this product to people looking for DDR RAM!
