Complains:
The dust filter for the power supply is horrible. Seen this desing before as cost cutting measure but this is be far the worst.
I hate power supply cut outs. I was not about to spend money on a white power supply so just bought some vinyl wrap for $10 and turned out pretty good.
Lastly I wish the basement ran all the way across the bottom of the case for a cleaner look.
Le verre fumé donne un aspect très classe !
On a beaucoup de place, et on peut ranger les câbles facilement.
Bruit réduit.
On peut sélectionner grâce à un petit boitier les lumières et couleurs des ventilateurs.
while the Airflow was good the top mesh moves FAR too easily when picking up the case the mesh slid around as i went to tilt it back. this is with an Empty case. nothing in it. another factor to consider, why is there mesh up here?
top fans and Rads should be EXHAUST ONLY heat rises and convection means heat will WANT to flow up creating its own airflow as the air expands. Exhausting air through this Point means better cooling. you are working with the natural airflow. mesh up top does what? it cant filter as this is an exit point. there is nothing to catch assuming your intake filters are working. this means this Mesh is ONLY restricting airflow for NO reason. lots of cases have fallen into this. bottom and front should be intake Rear and top exhaust for a standard case design (there are a few Exceptions!)
that being said. for an Air-cooled build. this case does ALOT right. meshed front with big intake space. Basement is Big enough to house bays. which one can remove. the case can easily fit a 35mm 360 rad in front and a 280 up top
its a good case to work in for the most part
Final thoughts
the glass panel should recess to be flush with the case end not stick out.
the Mesh top should be Changed out for a more open less filtery option thats built into the case as the front fans should be doing that work anyways
the Build quality leaves something to be desired. compared to the 4000D airflow this case feels cheep, light and Plasticky the Angled glass designs feel gimmicky. you are mostly Paying for the Fans. Id bet of the cost $40-50 of it are in those fans.
Also not a huge fan of the RGB control button being on a unit inside the system, and the light for the power button being treated as just another light. If you want to use your own fans but still have the light around the power button work, you’ll have to keep a huge wire harness and small RGB controller hooked up inside the case. Could have easily integrated the RGB controller in the front panel and allowed it to work even without the wire harness.
Assez bruyant quand même faut l’avouer
J’enlève une étoile car je n’arrive pas à synchroniser les leds RGB :/
Câble management facile à faire faut le dire !
If I had one complaint it would be that the 3 included ARGB fans are not PWM but instead use a reg 3 pin fan connector. Cooler master also includes an ARGB splitter and controller for motherboards not setup for ARGB. My motherboard (ASROCK B450M Pro4) allows me to use in DC mode instead so I can still set a custom fan curve but that may not be the case for everyone. Apart from that I can’t find anything to complain about lol. Looks killer, thermals perform excellently, and the price is right.
If you’re in the market for a new case this is the one you should buy. Unless you are hell bent on having 200mm fans. Then go for the Cooler Master H500.
I’m currently running a Ryzen 5 3400G OC’d to 4.25ghz @1.37V. It is water cooled by the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240mm AIO. After running the AIDA64 stress test for over a half hour the cpu sat at a cool 48 Celsius and the motherboard about 46 Celsius, due mostly to the heat from coming off my 1650 Super GPU
Would have given four stars for the missing piece but downgraded to three since the area at the bottom of the case for the power supply is closed off and complicates the wiring.
1. Do yourself a favor from the start and disconnect the front fans from the Molex splitter. The splitter doesn’t push through enough power to turn the fans without giving them a push start. Thrown the splitter away and buy yourself some extension cables (there’s a great brand that starts with an N) and connect directly to your mobo.
2. The housing for the PSU is a pain in the butt to work with. I saw that another brand had a removable PSU cover and I almost went with that brand. I would recommend that Cooler Master look at doing something similar.
Great air flow
Actually the air flow is so good that I'm freezing everytime I play it
I suggest not putting it in a small room in the middle of fall
Might lose a toe or something
But I do suggest adding more fans if you are building a good gaming computer
(Might be a small part of the freezing the toes off problem)
I saw some reviews saying that the power supply doesn't fit, but they are all a pretty standard size and mine fit nicely
I can see the problem as the cords are hard to maneuver, but not impossible
Overall an excellent case with great airflow
1. IT WAS MISSING THE BACK EXHAUST FAN! Are you kidding me? How are you going to send me an item without all of the components it is supposed to come with? Luckily I have an extra fan to use.
2. The top of the case is basically dented in the middle of the frame on the tempered glass side. Looks like someone dropped this when they were making the case.
Honestly, I question whether or not this case is new. Even though I bought it thinking that was the case. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt like this needed to be addressed for those of you who are thinking about buying this Cooler Master case.
