The Canon Selphy 760 is a great little printer. It's compact, simple to use, inexpensive, and the photos are brilliant. The cartridges don't dry out like they do on an ink jet printer. If you want something dedicated to just 4x6 photos at a reasonable price, I recommend getting the 760 model. The newer models cost more and don't have any advantage over this one. All they've added is a ridiculous bucket and bright colors on the printer. I like the all white one better, anyway.

I was looking for something compact that I could take with me on vacations, etc. and this is perfect! My five year nephew can even hook it up to the camera and pick which picture he wants to print. The quality for each print is fantastic. It does not print bigger than 4x6. I thought the ink/photo paper combo that goes with this was very reasonable.

I bought this printer as part of the Canon pink pack (pink SD1100 camera with this printer, both included in the box). I already had an Epson PictureMate PM280 but I thought it would be cool to have a printer and camera that matched. (Yes, I'm that vain. ggg)The printer makes BEAUTIFUL high quality photos. The images are sharp and clear, the color is exceptional. It prints quickly and it's a nice little printer, worth the money. You can do basic photo editing on this printer, such as reduce red eye, change colors to B/W, sepia, vivid, ...add the date (or not) but that's all you can do.You need space in front of the printer to insert the paper cartridge AND you need space behind the printer as well. The paper extrudes out the back at the start of the printing process.the Canon photo printer is a great basic printer and will work well. You will be very pleased with the print quality. It's outstanding!

I was so pleased w/this item that I ordered another one. The only negative is that even though I bought the 2nd one the following week it was sold for $20.00 less and Amazon did not offer a price adjustment. I was very disapointed b/c other merchants that I have purchased from offer an adjustment.

This is my first printer of this type and I was really impressed by the picture quality. Also, the cost of the cartridges/paper pack seems reasonable as well. Being able to print directly from the memory card or camera is really convienent.

I really didn't need a photo printer, I already had one. But this was a gold box deal, and the ratings seemed great. I also wanted something portable, and this is definitely it.When I got it, I was a bit confused as to how to add the paper cartridge, it isn't explained very well. After a bit of fiddling (the blank cover has to be opened before it is slid in), I finally got the paper in. I then printed one of the pictures I had on my Nokia N95. It pulled the paper in, and out came some yellow stuff. Aha, I thought Yellow, Magenta and Green. But then it pulled it in a fourth time to. My friends told me it was probably black, and that sounds plausible.The picture is great, I really like what I can do with this. One thing to remember, though, you need space on both sides to feed the paper through. On the "front" side you have the cartridge, but you need space in the back too.All in all, I am satisfied, and do not regret the purchase.

Works OK, I tried to make a smaller picture on half and print another one on the other half and the way the ink and layers are put down on the paper it jammed the unit up and had to take apart. If not skilled in repair could be difficult cause had hole unit apart. Works now but there was not a mention in the manual NOT to do this.... but makes great 4x6 prints

Pictures are excellent. Wish it could do 5X7's, but for the cheap price and size of the printer for convenient storage its just fine.

Yes, it prints quickly.Yes, it even prints quality pictures!Why am I so disappointed?You can only use Canon paper! It says that it prints 4X6, but actually 4X6 paper does not fit in the printer! You have to use a slightly slimmer paper from Canon and then tear off the two ends when you get finished. This leaves ridges on the edges of your picture! I am so disappointed in the printer. Nothing on the box said that you would not be able to print actual 4X6 pictures!

I bought this for my mom as a companion gift to a camera my sibs and I got her for Mother's Day -- and it is EXCELLENT, even for the technically challenged. Easy to use, no computer hook-up required. The photos might not pass muster with aficionados, but for the casual photographer -- especially one who takes photos at parties and wants to share them with friends -- it's ideal.

What a great litter printer! It is so small and compact, but does such a big job. It's fast. It's easy and our whole family has enjoyed using it. It was a pleasant surprise for the size and price. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to print their own 4X6 prints at home. The quality is good and options for cropping pics. I am glad I purchased this product.

I don't really have a problem with the printer, it actually seems to be working fine. My issue is with the fact that it didn't come with a USB cable, so I had to go to the local office supply store and get one. The second is just as minor, but still annoying, The printer does not support 4 gig SD cards so I had to go buy a smaller SD card. Before I purchased the printer, I contacted the good people at Amazon and asked them a few questions. The person assured me that a 4 gig would be fine, a little much, but should work fine. After receiving the unit, getting the USB cable and setting everything up, I went and took a few test pictures (I also purchased a new camcorder) then I went to test the printer but could not get it to recognize the card. I made a few troubleshooting attempts, but to no avail. I called the Canon tech support center and the gentleman quickly identified the problem. The printer works great and the product overview said it came with no USB cable, but I wish the tech limitations were a little more clear.

I've bought this printer and my family is happy with it. You can print your pictures anywhere with high quality, and you can send your picture as post card easily. No worry about ink.

Don't be afraid of buying a refurb. This printer looks brand new. I get 70 pictures out a color cartridge. I set my camera to fine detail, and vivid color most of the time. On standered color, could see getting 100 pictures on 1 catridge. I received fast shipping, means alot to get something when you want it now. This is one great printer, pictures are the best I have printed on any of the 3 printers I own. You will be happy.

I bought this as the deal of the day, not having great expectations for it. However, the quality of the prints coming out of this are fantastic! They are just as good as anything you can get from a 1 hour photo, and the price per print is competetive. I own an older Canon Powershot S400 4 megapixel digital camera, and this interfaced with it perfectly. I did not even bother opening the owners manual. It is very intuitive. You control the printer right from the camera, and can even crop pictures from the camera. If you want to print all the pictures on the memory card, just pull it out of the camera, put it in the printer, and there is an option to print all. Works great! The pictures don't smudge or smear, and are dry the instant they come out of the printer. This is a thousand times better than an ink jet print. I am totally sold on this printer, and will be buying more for gifts for my family.

I am a event Photographer , this printer its really easy to use and more compact than the litle one what I mean with that its no trays going out , safe when you work around many people , also seems to print faster than the small one.Great buy , also 2 years extended warranty for $19.

I was very happy with the speed of delivery on my new photo printer. The printer is a perfect size. The only problem i have with the printer is the ink cartridges . they only print out about 8 photos then run out. I didnt realize that part, I had to order more ink right away cause i print out alot of pictures.

I bought this printer for a charity event. We took pictures of entering honorees, printed them and framed them as gifts. The picture was fantastic and the color was perfect. Everyone asked me where I got that great little printer. I highly recommend it.
