This is an excellent Camera. It turns on and is ready to shoot in about a second. And if you change the default image size from the huge 16 megapixel to something more commonly used in the real world (and you have a fairly fast SD card), you can be ready for the next picture in less then a second

I love the camera. It came pretty quickly and it works great. So far it has taken great pictures. I haven't had a lot of time to play with the extra features, but I really like it so far.

So I got this camera with good expectations. I previously was using an ooold sony cybershot, so I needed to change and upgrade. I read a bunch of reviews and decided this, plus I know Canon is a good brand. But, I'm slightly disspointed with the product. The images are very sharp, it has a dullness about the pictures - my old cybershot actuall looks better in some cases. The colours are fairly good. The various scene options are a nice-to-have. The night shots aren't bad, but still not great. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting a $500/$1000 quality photos, but like I said, my ancient cybershot pics actually look better than some of these (bright sunlight pics even). So for that reason I'm dissapointed.

I love this camera, it was exactly what I was looking for: a reasonably priced pocket size camera that still takes good pictures. I bought this camera as a supplement to a full size Canon PowerShot S5 IS (which has been succeeded by, I believe, the PowerShot SX30 IS). I wanted something I could stick in a pocket and carry around on short trips and in social settings that would be a much better camera than my phone.This camera is excellent, and the pictures are only slightly less sharp than on the S5, which has a much larger sensor. Just about the only feature I would have liked as an addition to this camera is full manual control for shutter speed and aperture, but that's far from necessary for the situations I wanted the camera for.This is an excellent pocket size camera, and would be great as a first digital camera for beginners or as a supplement to a larger camera for more advanced photographers.

I totally agree with Kimberly S. Desio. Experienced similar picture distortion issues and I just returned the camera and going with Sony Cybershot.

Light weight, thin built, easy to carry in my pocket. Only wish the Zoom button would be easier to operate. Over all, Canon is a trusted brand.

decent purchase..look wise not that great but take good snaps.also, video recording comes a bit blurry.It can be recommended with this price..

I have only begun to use this camera, but it appears to be a real bargain. Great features at a bargain price. 5X zoom and 16MP, more than I'll need. I'll give it areal workout at Thanksgiving.Amazon's price and shipping care are the best there is.

I bought this camera as a replacement for a Kodak 10mp camera thinking 16mp would be that much sharper. Boy was I ever wrong. I tried every possible setting trying to get a sharp clear photo even half as good as my cheap WalMart Kodak. But all I get is VERY grainy photos that will not enlarge at all. I contacted Canon and they said I should be getting clear sharp photos and would I please send the camera to them to check it out. In about two weeks I received a brand new unopen replacement. Nothing has changed. All photos are very grainy and I am stuck with a piece of junk. This is not my first digital nor is it my first digital Canon. My first Canon was a 6mp which made FAR superior photos than this one. These little cameras are suppose to be point-and-shoot and it shouldn't take a professional photographer to use them.

This product is amazing. It is all that Canon stated it was. It is simple to use (I'm an auto-type photographer)and the zoom is great. I especially appreciate the large LCD viewing screen. I hope it offers me years of enjoyment as did my last Canon digital camera.

Great for anyone who likes to take good pictures, but doesn't want to have to take out a second mortgage to afford their camera. I was really excited to get this camera delivered. I ordered it through Amazon, received it just a few days after ordering, and it was in great condition. Love the blue color. I was trying to decided between this camera and the Nikon Coolpix S4100, approx the same price. Basically, this won me over with the lens options and creative filters. At first it seemed like a lot of confusion, but after reading the manual and playing with the camera for a little while, I figured everything out. My favorite features are the motion tracking, face detection, and the different lens options. It also has a custom timer (so if you don't like 2 sec or 10 sec, or if you want it to take more than 1 shot, you can adjust it). It's compact, responds quickly, and takes great pictures. The only thing I would change is the zoom, wish it was a little more.

I love, love, love, love, my new camera. It's so light! It does not add weight to my purse and I can carry it ever where without feeling like I'm carrying a bowling ball with me. I love everything about it. The battery is small, compact, light, and inexpensive. I love, love, love it!

This is the best little camera I've ever owned. I love the clarity and simplicity of the Canon Powershot A3300 IS. I've never owned another brand of camera, why quit a good thing and the price at Amazon was the best I could find.

Amazing camera! 16 MP is definitely very clear. It automatically changes the lens for each surrounding which is great! I couldn't have asked for a better camera! It is the best point and shoot camera you can find!

I am not a great photographer, so I need a camera that makes it easy for me. This camera does that. I had an older digital camera that was old and had certainly served its purpose. I searched and read reviews and asked friends and finally decided on this camera. I was not dissapointed. I took it on our family trip to Disney World and it was perfect! I bought the case to hold it in and it hang on my purse. It was light and easy to carry around, and took GREAT pictures. It adjusts itself so there are no blurry pictures! I love this feature, because that used to be my specialty. I have been very satisfied with this camera.

Considering the price, this is a nice camera to travel with and take great pics. So far I have no complaints.

I'm new to cameras and bought this based off of past experiences with Canon and reviews. So far I like it a lot. The picture quality is what I expected for the price, the time in between pictures is a bit long sometimes (2 seconds roughly) and it's not great at motion shots. It does take some beautiful pictures though and I think anyone would be happy for the price.

I've had the camera about 2 weeks. I'm an amateur just wanting better photos of family and family events. Every single photo I've taken so far has been great. Pictures are crisp, clear and look great whether taken at night or day. This camera is great and I would recommend it to a friend.

My only negative comment is the shutter lag. It's easy to use, good picture, compact, nice point and shoot camera. If you're far from professional, this is a good buy.

I've only used it a few times but I have been very pleased with it so far. The shutter speed is much faster then my older Canon (to be expected) and my pictures seem to be a lot more vibrant as well. Not to mention, the camera is so light weight that I don't feel like I'm carrying a brick in my purse anymore.Great camera, highly recommend it...especially for the price (best price was on Amazon!). This is my 2nd cannon in 5 years and I can't say enough good things about the product.
