It took a bit lf navigation to get it set up to my android but oh boy this is fun and will keep me up all night. A pic only takes about 50 seconds and quality is amazing!! Ive bought over 100 gadgets and things in this past year this is my favourite by far!!😍

It is one month after "return window closed" - and the ink cassettes are being shredded by the Printer! One is stuck in the printer and the previous one was stuck - finally got it out and it was completely shredded. I bought this late June 2018 and now it is early September - the return window was one month which was not enough of a testing ground obviously. I had one for 5 years and there was never any issue with it. I replaced it because I wanted a wireless printer. Total piece of junk!

Je dois avouer que j'était sceptique aux début après avoir lu des avis partager sur internet mais maintenant que je l'ai testé je peut dire que je suis impressionné. Les photo imprimé sont d'une qualité époustouflante ont dirais quelle vienne d'un labo! Et comme j'aime énormément la photographie c'était un must pour moi.
Les couleur sont également reproduite fidèlement et sont très vive. Les photo sont pleine de vie et n'ont pas du tout d'aspect fade et mort.
L'imprimante semble également très solide elle ne se brisera pas facilement si on l'utilise comme il faut et qu'ont en prend soin
Le seul petit contre je dirais que jai rencontré ces que l'image peut etre redimensioné et coupé si la photo est trop grande mais ces facilement règlable avec des appli et autre babiole.
Autrement je suis très agréablement surpris et je risque de m'en servir pendant très longtemps. Je suis vraiment heureux de mon achat. Et si je trouve autre chose a dire que ce sois positif ou négatif je l'inclurais dans mon avis ci présent.

Five stars+ for the printout, it beats HP a lot. What a tiny printer with a HUGH power adapter detached! I have no headache to place my printer, but big trouble to keep the BIG power adapter in a right place. Enjoy!

So far, pretty good. The one obvious downfall is that you have to buy all different cassettes and paper to get the different sizes. So plan on spending an additional ~$40 on each of those (i.e. if you want the postcard size, "L" size, card size, etc.). I am also having a lot of issues locating any of the paper other than the standard 4x6 size... doesn't seem to be much on Amazon available right now.
The paper and ink that comes with this one lasts about 10 prints and that's it. I bought the "Canon Selphy RP-108 High-Capacity Color Ink/Paper Set Ink" to go with it which gives you enough for 100 prints.
I do like that you can use two different apps - the second one lets you "collage" pictures onto one so if you do want smaller photos printed on the 4x6 paper, you can do that and then just cut them out (i.e. for scrapbooking).
Overall, I do like it. Nice small printer and prints quite quickly. A lot better than running to Walmart for a few prints. Would NOT recommend if you are planning to print tons and tons of pictures though.

This is a very useful photo printer. Great price. Comes with 5 paper and ink for demo. Connection was easy. Easy set up. Familiarize yourself with option for printing. I used the smartphone connection. Amazing photo printout. Very vivid colours. Waterproof and no fading. Dry as soon as it's finished printing. Was very impressed by it. I have another one from a different brand. They both do the job of printing photo but this one has impressed me more. Also suggest you pick up the paper and ink cartridge combination deal. I will also leave that a feedback. Thanks seller and Amazon for another great product. Highly recommended. Thumbs up

This doesn't print any edited images. If you edit it on photoshop or any app on your phone it won't work. It only prints jpg files and not JPEG. How can this not support JPEG!???? Total waste of money. Super limited with what you can do with it. The print quality isn't that great. The lag on the loading screen is very poor! Painfully slow. What a total rip off and super disappointing. The quality of this thing is cheap and I am so sorry that I wasted my money on this.

It's simple and delivers great small prints. I have tried other printing solutions before and nothing was as easy as this one. There is a reason why Canon still produces products for end-user home use, if you are looking for professional prints look elsewhere. This small little printer is great for all occasions, especially family gatherings where you want photos developed instantly so the guests can take something memorable home. I have yet to come by something as portable and easy to setup, wish it was touch screen but we can't have it all. The buttons are tactile and clicks solid.
If you calculate the cost of going to a print shop and time, you really don't save much more money in comparsion to buying the Selply Ink/Paper set. If you are happy with the size that this printer puts out then you'll be far satisfied.

I have tried and tried to get this thing to show up on the network but it just doesn't. I've factory reset it multiple times, verified the settings, power cycled it, the router, everything on my network. Nothing works. Since the WIFI accessibility was the primary selling point on this I feel like it was a total waste of my time and money. Only gave two stars because it does work if I connect directly to the printer but I have to disconnect from internet access, connect to the device, print the pictures I need, then reconnect to my wifi again.
I'm actively looking for a better alternative and will not recommend this to anyone.

This printer was exactly what we needed. I have purchased 2 of these (one for my wife and one for my mother). The photos come out exactly as I would hope. My only minor concern is that sometimes 2 sheets get stuck together and cause a bad print (this may be due to the third party paper type I bought). Also sometimes takes a couple tries to connect to wifi but that's a minor inconvenience to me.

The UI is a bit weird since it looks like meant to use touch screen but there's not touch screen in this model.
The Product is listed as TOUCH SCREEN at the time i bought it, and it does NOT have a touch screen. Please fix the description !!! This is misleading consumers.
I printed easily from my iphone or ipad.
UPDATE after one year of my first review. THE AD STILL LIST THIS AS having a TOUCH SCREEN, and it does not have one. Fix the AD removing the TOUCH SCREEN on specs and i will give another star back...

The pictures keep getting cut on the side and top I'm not sure why. I've tried to edit in the app but the app wont let me. So I need to pre-edit the pictures makesure there is enough space for error before I can send it to print
The quality of the prints are decent better than ones I've had before but not as good as the Walmart prints
Havent decided if it's worth it or not yet but it depends on how many prints I can get out of the additional cartridge I bought.

It means we actually print pictures. who can fault that? Every once in a while it has a "smudge" or squiggle or misprint, but then if it bugs you, print it again and it's fine. Networking is a bit sketchy - it doesn't always work how you expect, unless you do direct connection. Had more trouble with iOS than with android. Download the "extra" apps like Format etc from the provider. They work much better than the standard one with zero control. If you want borderless prints without cutting AND without cropping, you might be annoyed. It heavily overprints to create boarderless. Using Layout app then trimming down the photo was an easy solution.

I bought this for our 17-year-old daughter, who loves to print photos during parties and other social gatherings. She said it was easy to download the printer's app on her iPhone and link it with the printer. The photos take about 50 seconds each and the picture and colour quality are very good. We looked at other portable printers, but many only produced 2x3 prints. This printer is slightly larger but we like that it produces larger prints. Very happy with the purchase!

My wife and I bought this for our new camera as a christmas gift. When everyone saw how well it worked and the quality of prints, they sold them on it. The fact that right out of printer they are smudge proof is awesome. Funny thing was at first I thought it was broken as when I saw the first picture it was yellow, just as I was about to grab it and say "oh @#$#" it pulled it back in and printed next color. It was only when I installed the second print "ink" did I realize that it uses 4 "films" to produce a picture. Note buy more film when you buy this because once you start printing pictures you won't stop.

Print quality is not bad. Had to saturate my photos a lot to get good end results.
What I really hated were the canon apps. Idk why but companies that make printers make horrible apps and programs. I couldn't edit my photos in the canon apps that much. I had to use other apps to edit and get 2 canon apps. In one of the canon apps, there should be a level meter for how filtered photos can be instead of going from 0-100%.
Physically, I wish I can make the printer portable without using the plug, but maybe they'll make that in the future.

Bought this for my significant other for Christmas. She was always sending me to Walmart to print photos for the frames we buy to display throughout the house. So I solved my problem by buying this little number! Works great, fairly easy set-up, and the quality of the prints are fantastic. Would definitely recommend. It's tiny, it fits easily on my desk by the computer and it's not ugly to look at.

After purchasing a competitive product (Kodak) and having a very frustrating time with their app and their customer service, we settled on this one.
It was SO easy to set up, prints easily over wifi and the quality of photos are SO SO SO good!
Really impressed with this printer and highly recommend!

Canon customer service is a joke. One of the printer cartridges was messed up after an hour on the phone printing and testing and emailing photos they begrudgingly agreed to send a replacement like it was a huge favour or something. I realize that products are a little off sometimes but stand behind them! Dont expect much from customer service. Also the printer prints very dull colours and cuts off your photos. Even after you edit them to be 4x6 in their app. 150 dollar boat anchor. Go to walmart or shoppers drug mart to have your photos printed properly at one third of the price.

This item produces great pictures when it works, however it constantly and consistently shows on the screen an error message that says the ink in the printer is not a compatable ink. It did this in the test package that came with it and it still does it with the RP108 Ink & Paper pak that I bought with it. Serious software problem or perhaps faulty sensor in the printer.

This was the best Christmas gift ever. Memories are better in photo albums because phones are constantly loosing them. The quality of the pictures are outstanding, in fact, I would say they are on par with professional printing shops. I researched before purchasing and the refills on this printer are really affordable, especially if you purchase the double pack. No problem uploading pics through an app on the phone, everyone in the house can connect with a push of a button and print a photo. They come out so bold and we are all so happy with it. Fantastic product.

Amazing quality prints for such a small printer. Set up was extremely easy, and I can even print from my phone. Takes less than a minute to print one photo. Cost of printing come down to less than a $1 per print.
