al grabar un concierto se satura el microfono y se escucha mal, no lo digo como un mal comentario solo lo comparto por si alguien tenia la inquietud de comprarlo para ese fin no les servira, para una entrevista o algo parecido esta perfecto pero para grabar bandas en vivo definitivamente no me funciono

Faulty product. Does not work with phone.
And even worse than in built dslr mic.
This mic is good on Youtube reviews, so my guess is that seller shipped a bad product.
It was not even sealed.

I used this mic for an year so I feel I'm most eligible to write a proper review.
1. The product looks good.
2. There is no noise cancellation going on.
3. Mic audio quality is better than my DSLR built-in mic setup but definitely not the best.
4. The wire quality looks bad but it does the job.
5. The mic stopped working all of a sudden 🤦.
I really don't understand the problem here. I use mic regularly because i make youtube videos but recently the mic stopped working for no reason. I handle all my camera gears very carefully i have separate big camera bags dedicated for my camera gear and i keep my mic in that bag as well. But the mic was not in contact with water neither it got dropped on floor it just stopped working just like that. The worst part is you can't break open and see what's broken inside the mic to fix it.

CONCLUSION:
Even though it's cheep and affordable don't go for it not the best out there wait and invest your money in something better like RODE mic.

The best alternative for expensive mics. Has a great frequency response especially when connected to an external audio recording device. Great for video creators film makers on a budget.

Very good for its price. It's quite directional, sensitive and the response is quite good. For its price it is eminently very good and at least better than the Saramonic mic which costs three times more and hardly delivers a half of what Boya delivers. I hope Boya will soon bring out a directional condenser mic for mobile phones which will be better than this one and for that cost somewhat more. I hope they listen to this old enthusiast.

Pros- *Comes with aux cable for both cameras & smartphones along with its cover *portable *no battery needed
Cons- *cables provided are very short
Final Verdict- Good audio quality for this price range!

Please do not buy this product. Before purchasing i watched review on youtube, read comments and thought that product is 4 star, So it may be good and bought this garbage. You will lose your money. A simple Rs. 150 clip mic is better than this Boya MM-1.

As my clip mic was internay damaged and record only stero audio and not mono. Therefore i boughg this.

You won't believe my damaged clip mic which i locally bought for 150 is better background noise reducer than this garbage Boya MM-1.

And one more thing 1st i bought it and then i make it replace as i thought the 1sf product may be internally defective.

Then on replacement then 2nd product is also same.

I don't know what is the work of mic. Noise reduction is main work. But this boya mm1 can't do this. Isse na ho payega.

So please don't waste your money it is complete garbage.

Its of average quality...much better than the phone's mic anyways.

repacked and second-hand product supplied which is giving lot of noise into recording. i have stopped using it and the it into dust bin.
i know amazon will say its the supplier who has to take action, the boya co will not take any responsibility. the supplier will keep silence. because everyone above has got their share of money from my payment. actually, I wanted a bye a good product for my video recording.
i m just upset and sad about such MBA management where no is ready ethically to take care and take responsibility.
now just imagine whether just after receiving the item how can anybody test such electronic devices immediately, meanwhile the return window expires. ultimately no one responsible and the loss has happened.
so sad, money lost, trust on boya and the supplier gone. amazon do not take responsibility as a platform, only.
