Estoy muy contento con el router, tiene mucha potencia, con las fresas adecuadas los trabajos son muy simples y precisos, tiene una gran estabilidad, la combinación de una base fija y una de resorte es una gran ventaja así no hay que comprar routers distintos, su precisión y manejo son excelentes, el maletín incluye 2 vástagos el de 3/8 y 1/2 haciéndolo capaz de utilizar una gran variedad de fresas, el maletín es rígido y protege muy bien la herramienta, tiene la función de poder moverlo desde la parte inferior lo cual lo hace bueno para montar sobre una mesa y usarlo como fresa de banco, en general es una gran herramienta, muy cómoda y fácil de usar, vale lo que cuesta, adicional a que es difícil de conseguir en tiendas en México

Es lo que esperaba y a un gran precio. No te patea cuando lo enciendes, la calidad del material es excelente. Una de las funciones que más me gusta es que te ahorras el tener que comprar un elevador para router que cuesta hasta un poco más que el router en sí ya que trae disponible la elevación con su llave, sólo tienes que aflojar el seguro y empezar a girarlo desde arriba de tu mesa para router. No tengo queja alguna. Estoy bastante contento con mi compra. Es al menos para mí una herramienta importantísima en la carpintería.

Excelente herramienta

El motor a velocidades es excelente para diferentes opciones de trabajo, de ligero a duro con 6 velocidades. La patada de arranque es casi nula, permite asegurarte de tener bien agarrado el mango al iniciarlo. Desplazamiento suave. El elevador hidráulico es un agregado excepcional. más seguro, preciso y ergonómico, da confianza al manejarlo. El agarre es perfecto a la palma de la mano. El cable de corriente es más blando que otras versiones previas lo cual evita enredarse o entorpecer el trabajo mientras está activo. Excelente compra.

La base de inmersión necesitaba aceite para que baje suavemente.

Es mi primer router así que no tengo punto de comparación , pero cumple buena potencia solo lo he usado en MDF y melamina como 4 hrs diarias de uso continuo y no noto que se caliente ni nada raro ,me da un leve tiron cuando la enciendo ,solo uso la base de inmersión y la otra está en el olvido.
Le base de inmersión se atoraba antes de llegar al fondo como que se atascaba y estaba algo dura para bajar pero se solucionó con un poco de aceite w40 le puse ,ahora baja muy suave y tiene muy buen agarre.

Simplemente excelente, para trabajo profesional

No se puede pedir menos de Bosch, el router es potente, tiene ambos collet 1/2 y 1/4, llaves, base de inmersión muy precisa y fácil de usar, se siente un producto muy robusto. Tengan cuidado con el indicador de la regleta que es super frágil, se me quebro de solo presionarlo un poco.

Incompleto! El collet de 1/4 no venía a pesar de que en el anuncio y en en el instructivo indica que se incluye. Soy por lo menos el segundo al que le pasa.
Los elevadores en la base de inmersión se atoran, pero nada que no se pueda arreglar fácilmente. Spray de teflón funcionó perfecto.
Muy buen producto aún así, pero un descuento por el faltante sería fantástico

Muy mala calidad , no dura mucho

Pésimo router en cuanto a durabilidad, a los pocos meses de uso en mi taller se descompuso la base "plunge " y días después simplemente dejo de prender el aparato. Es bosch pero no tiene la durabilidad que caracterizaba esa marca.

El equipo llego con bastantes marcas como si estuviera usado, pero no la devuelvo por esa razón, la devuelvo porque el equipo esta incompleto le falto el mandril de 1/4, lo volveré a pedir por el buen precio pero espero que en esta ocasión venga en buen estado y completo

Es una excelente herramienta, gran calidad en todos sus componentes. El motor tiene gran potencia y trabaja muy bien en maderas duras. El único detalle es que no tiene luz de trabajo. Calidad que nos acostumbra Bosch y con el plus del maletín. Llego antes de lo previsto.

Esta presentación con el maletín incluido y el escantillon de sujeción de inmersion están excelentes. El costo mucho mas barato que equipo de la misma marca en presentaciones con menos accesorios de hecho.

It's not compatible with our electricity supply

The router's voltage is 120volts and the frequency is 60Hz where as in Ireland our voltage is 230volts and the frequency is 50Hz so the appliance won't work properly in Ireland. It's not compatible with our electrical supply. I have requested a return

Good, but beware the baseplate

A great router - the usual great Bosch quality. It loses a star though because you have to buy a separate adapter in order to use bushings with attach to the baseplate. For example, guides for following a template (ie. a dovetail jig). Had Bosch included this $5 item I would have been delighted. Instead I had to buy another part and wait another week for it to be delivered in order to use my router for what I intended. Why not advertise "we use a non-standard baseplate" so I could be warned?

Excellent

Still one of the best routers on the market today. The design hasn't changed for the best part of a decade, which says a lot about the ergonics and capabilities.

The kit gives you the option of a fixed or plunge base, together with a powerful, variable-speed motor. 1/4" and 1/2" collets are provided to give you more choice of cutting bits. Two spanners tighten the nut to hold the router bits in place. Much better than the routers with the annoying button to lock the motor while you tighten with the other hand.

The fixed base is compatible with the Bosch router tables, and a key is provided to adjust the cutting depth from the top!

The carry case is nice and sturdy and has space for the optional extras, like dust extractor and fence, as well as slots for your router bits.

A real versatile bit of kit for your workshop or whenever you need a clean cut that a jigsaw just can't deliver.

I've bought cheaper routers before, only to have them die on me, or the cooling fan explode from vibration. With Bosch you get fantastic quality at a very reasonable price.

short life span

I had this router for 15 months and used it sparingly over that time. Despite limited use the router suddenly started to lose power even when not under any load. Repair evaluation - it needed a new armature, bearing, field, ball guide, O-ring and ball holder for a total cost well over $300 which is more than the price of the router new. 1 year limited warranty did not cover any of the repairs - needless to say I would not recommend this product due to short life-span even though when it did work it performed reasonably well.

Wow what a fantastic router compared to what I was using
Very easy to adjust depth control, nice and heavy which is really a good thing
This router is very well balanced which means their is virtually no vibration from the router
Plunge base is well really too die for works so well
Strong motor when working with 1/2 bits nice case so all can be stored in one place for travel
And the price well it's just fantastic
Bought the edge guide also very sturdy and we'll built
Bosch really nicked this one of the park
It's been on the the market for years and that say alot don't believe me check out the other reviews
And their precision depth control for the bit is so precise and we'll thought out really beats that stupid ring adjustment that you find on other routers their really is no comparison
If your looking for a good strong router and with both a regular base and a plunge base buy this one you will really be happy you did
And the price on Amazon just can't be beat delivery at most 3 days and you don't even have to leave your house
What more can I say

Absolute High Quality Tools For A Great Price

It's finally here! What a great piece of equipment to have in any woodworking shop. Some people have said that the motor sticks a little, or a lot, in some cases, when changing the base. The simple explanation for this issue is it's a lubricant used in the milling & assembly processes. If you take some rubbing alcohol, 70% to 99% & rub down the motor & bases that "Sticking" issue will go away.

As for the rest of this product, I've had no issues with it, yet. But given that this is day 1 for me, I've had no issues with the motor or the plunge base. The springs used are heavy duty & very firm. The thumb release for the plunge base is very accessible & holds the router exactly where it is placed by the user.

I've used this router for 7 hours today to test it out with variable sized bits, using both bases & I even used it for about 2.5 hrs while in the Bosch motor lift & it has worked flawlessly. Just make sure you don't take too big of a bite. Use shallow passes when you need to go deep into a piece. It may take a little more time, in the end however, it will save you time & money. By doing so it will save on burnt up pieces, snipe, ruined router bits & expensive lumber. All in all, a 9.5/10.

Top notch router

Great tool that works well. Build quality is excellent. It feels sturdy in hands, and the performance is exactly as advertised. I am a hobby woodworker, and this does more than satisfy my needs. I have yet to use the plunge base, but judging by what other people say, there shouldn't be an issues. Case and accessories are also well though out and quality is on par with the tool. Few nags that I've noticed, but this could be a personal observation; On/Off switch is not easily reachable when working with 2 hands; removing the router from base(s) can be tricky at times, and it not a problem once you get used to it.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the tool, and Amazon delivery time. Got it in just under 2 days.
