**Driver's side 2003 4runner blade**
Works exactly as it should with no sound or streaking. The other reviewers who complain about these blades need to replace their wiper arm springs which pull the wiper towards the windshield. If this spring is old there is not enough tension for the blade to be flush against the windshield. This causes vibration, sounds, and streaking. For me these wipers work perfect.

I originally used Bosch Excel blades, then upgraded to Icons for our old Rogue and Juke and they always worked great. Now I'm getting ready to buy a set of Icons to replace the original blades on our 2017 Acura RDX. I applied the Amazon search filter for the RDX and noticed that it said that a bundled product (26A+16A) fit the RDX, but when I chose the individual 26A or 16A products it said they did not fit the RDX. I checked the Bosch website and the O'Reilly website and both confirmed that the 26A and 16A were the correct blades for my RDX. A few other reviews have mentioned that the Amazon search filter has incorrectly said this item did (or didn't) fit their vehicle, so I'd recommend checking the Bosch website instead of relying on the Amazon search filter as it appears to have a glitch.

I LOVE Bosche brands! They're definitely reasonably priced and high quality made products. My previous wipers were Bosche and they lasted me 3 years!!! I couldn't resist to repurchase them again as replacements. HOWEVER, this time when I replaced both of my wipers Bosche (18" & 24" for a 2006 Corolla) on 3/1/17, I'm really disappointed that the 24" wiper blade isn't wiping clear as the 18". It's leaving a water trail/streak that will not wipe away. I've only had them on for a little over 2 months! I don't know if I've received a defected one, but now I've exceeded my 30-day return! And it's been raining the the Boston area for the past week and it's starting to really upset me that I wish I could exchange it for a new one. I've knocked 1 star away from this review only because of the hit or miss well manufactured wiper blade. Hopefully this helps anyone who may run into the same problem and sees any defects sooner before their return days are up.

I put these on my 2017 F-150 because the Ford dealer replacements juddered and squeaked across the windshield unless it was a heavy rain.

The old dealer wipers (they were not Ford brand) came off with only a bit of a struggle, then the new Bosch Icons went on in seconds. If you need to, you can watch a YouTube video to show you how to remove the old ones, or install the new ones. About the easiest install I have ever done ... no assembly of adapters — just install right out of the box. So far they are performing perfectly.

As expensive as the Icons are, I will expect long life and continued good cleaning from them. If not, I will so report through an update.

I was recommended the ICON wiper by a car guy friend of mine that swears by them. I recently had used a RainX brand wiper and was so annoyed with the lack of contact with the windshield at the outer curvatures, combined with the excessive chatter/fingernails on a chalkboard when running them in anything less than a down pour. So I took a chance and ordered a set for my Sequoia and Camry. What a different. My wife is most impressed on the Camry on the clean, non-streak wiping. I can honestly state that the wipers get the best contact on the outer edges of the windshield of any wiper I've tried, but that they are insanely quiet even if it is only misting. Very impressed straight out of the box, will have to see how they hold up to a New England winter.

Spoke with Bosch tech support. These Amazon provided units come fitted with a wide top lock adapter only so they will NOT fit Audi's which use a narrow top lock. A No. 4 adapter from Bosch is required but is not included in the package. Amazon is mailing out the correct part number but without the "Clear Max 365" logo which indicates the package contains the necessary adapters.

Jeff: Hi everyone, and welcome to Episode 2 of “Buzzin’ the Backroads with Bezos™,” a new Amazon Studios documentary series, in which I explore the hidden corners of the American landscape in search of automotive adventure. I fly into a remote location in my personal helicopter to meet with an Amazon Prime member on location, who introduces me to an automotive-related product purchased on Amazon that is particularly useful in the backroads of this amazing country of ours.

Today, we’re at a Big Basin Redwoods State Park, outside of Santa Cruz, California, staring up through a morning fog hundreds of feet into the air, searching for the top of a 1,000 year old giant redwood. The air here is wet and soothing, and inside the redwood grove it’s as quiet as a cathedral or temple. Wow! Simply stunning natural beauty.

I’ve flown in from Amazon HQ in Seattle to speak with Amazon Prime customer, Bradley N. about Bosch Icon wiper blades, which claim to last 40% longer than less expensive, competing replacement brands. Depending on the size needed for your vehicle, they cost around $10-$20 per blade, so definitely an investment for most car buyers who aren't multibillionaires like me. Let me get to the point, Bradley N. Are these German-designed wiper blades really worth it?

Bradley: Yes, Jeff. In fact, these Bosch Icon wiper blades are the best I’ve ever encountered when it comes to smooth, quiet windshield cleaning power. In light snow, heavy rain, road dust, and morning fog, they work perfectly, assuming you keep the blades clean of debris before leaving the driveway and have some good quality washer fluid topped off under the hood before you begin longer trips.

J: I think those are important points you make. The blades are obviously not self-cleaning, and for them to keep in contact with the windshield glass, they need to be well maintained. That seems to the case with many German-designed products we sell on Amazon, actually. If used properly, and treated well, they function as advertised.

B: My friends who are BMW drivers tell me the same thing. As long as you do regular maintenance, and as long as you have some technical knowledge (or a dependable mechanic who does), they are the ultimate driving machines.

J: Well, I have a whole team of people who maintain my fleet of cars and trucks, but I definitely want to check to make sure they are using Bosch Icon wiper blades on all my vehicles. In fact, I’m having my assistant look into this right away. But let’s get back to this amazing setting: the redwoods, they are so mighty but also so calming. It's as if the stress of being the world's wealthiest man is just melting away. Big medicine, wouldn't you agree?

B: Sure, Jeff. These ancient redwoods have amazing therapeutic effects that scientists are only now starting to realize, but that spiritual healers and indigenous peoples in the area long understood.. But these gigantic trees can be incredibly dangerous in winter storms, and even heavy fog can cause branches to break. If your car is parked near them, you’ll get lots of debris all over, so cleaning your windshield and wiping the Bosch Icon wiper blades with a cloth or even your fingers before leaving is recommended.

J: But how do Bosch icon wiper blades work in the snow and other adverse cold climate conditions? I like to ski in the Washington Cascades, and my family loves visiting Yellowstone in winter with other kids of Amazon executives. Would these wiper blades work equally well in sub-zero weather?

B: That’s a great question, Jeff. I’ve been to Yellowstone in winter when it was -10F in the morning, and I’ve gone cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the Cascades in near blizzard conditions, so I speak from experience. These Bosch blades are made to resist freezing and don’t warp or lose their effectiveness when it’s cold. But again: use a winter washer fluid rated to -20F or lower, and have a good ice cleaning tool at your disposal, like those by Mallory that are made in the U.S.A. and have serious leverage for getting ice and slush off the glass. Bosch Icon wiper blades are really good as designed, but they aren’t snowplows; they’re wiper blades.

J: And I assume they also work well with heavy rain and thick ocean fog, of the sort you encounter often on the northern California coast?

B: Oh yes, as long as the rubber blades are free of things like redwood needles, branches, and the like.

J: And they look really stylish, too. For wiper blades.

B: Bosch is really good that way. Design matters for Germans, no question.

J: I’ll say! This seems like a great product. Let’s wrap things up, why don't we? Got anything for us to snack on at the picnic area? I’d love to sample some local food and wine.

B: I brought a Weber grill, which I’ve loaded with Royal Oak natural lump charcoal that is all ready to go. Don’t hesitate to try these Bosch ICONs. I bought Rain-X Latitude wipers one year ago, and they were OK for awhile, but no matter how much I tried to clean them they still left streaks of junk/water/etc. on my windshield. Bought the Bosch ICONs this week, installed them in a few minutes, and it feels like I have a new windshield. Time will tell how long they will last, but I am very impressed so far. They’re a little more expensive than the Rain-X Latitude but it’s worth it when you don’t have marks on your windshield and they actually clear the water off.

The spoiler is to keep the blades tight against your windshield while driving on the highway at higher speeds.
These are NOT ICONS. I've used ICONS for years!... I'm not sure what the deal is with these Icon blades sold by Amazon, but these blades claim to have an Asymmetrical spoiler which means the little spoiler should be off center to one edge (which also resembles my factory blades). Twice now the Bosch Icon 22OE blade I have received from Amazon has the spoiler in the center of the blade. I ended up running to a local well known auto parts store and bought a 22OE blade and the Asymmetrical spoiler is along the edge like it should be. The one from the parts store also came packaged with several more adapters to make them work with many different models of vehicles and the Amazon blade came with none other than one that is pre-attached to the blade.

I'm replacing this same blade from one year ago and it worked pretty well. I noticed very slight streaking at about 4 months of use but wasn't annoying enough to replace. It's probably the best looking wiper blade I've seen that fits my Scion xA. I put the 24A on the driver's side and a 16A on the passenger side. My favorite thing about this blade is how easy it is to put on and take off compared to every other blade I've used on my car.

I had a negative experience with cheaper single blade wipers and resolved to never again try them. From this review you can tell that I gave them another try. These are incredible. The fit on my Toyota Highlander is perfect!

One of the cheaper blades I used in the past wouldn't stay on through blow dry at the car wash! These have a cap that closes over the top of the connection. They just won't come off without you wanting them too.

For over 1600 miles on a recent trip, through some nasty summer rainstorms in Oklahoma, Missouri and Illinois, these wipers performed flawlessly. I am particular about making sure that my wipers clear the rain and don't streak, squeek or chatter. So I was really paying attention and not just because these are a larger out of pocket cost.

If you haven't replaced your wipers in the past year, get a set of the ICONs. You deserve being able to see clearly in the rain. I know I won't be using anything else.

I bought a set of Bosch Icon blades for my 2012 Nissan Murano back in January of 2017. The performance and durability of these wipers has been outstanding. Due to life events with moving and purchasing a new home, and getting into a new job, my car maintenance routine suffered a bit. I spent more time in a dirty car then in a clean shiny one. I am pleased that despite my neglect the wipers held up and did their job for over 3 years. Recently I noticed that the passenger side blade has begun to lift and for the past month has not been making proper contact with the windshield, thus leaving the rain drops and grime on the windshield. So, it is time to replace them, and naturally I first looked at getting a second pair of these wipers. But the benefit of ordering through Amazon is our order history, and I noticed something that just didn’t sit well with me. The 26” blade has increased in price by over 45%, and the 16” blade by 16% over what I paid in 2017. The 2020 price for the 26” blade alone is as much as I paid for the pair back in 2017. I can’t justify the price increase. No update or upgrade from 2017 in the product is apparent. You get what you pay for, but sometimes you also get the same for what you overpay for. If money is no object for you, I highly recommend these wipers.

Battery ruining very quickly!! When i got this, i used for 10 measurements and after 2 days when i ON it, its showing empty battery.
I borrowed a new set and replaced. After that i tried to use it in my site, but it shocking by displaying low battery icon. Dont know wants the real reason behind it whether its a product damage or else all products are like this?

Continuous measurement is available, so that you could move the device lika a measurement tape and mark using a pen or a marker.
Comparable range like my old Bosh GLE40 device
This on is tiny and fits the pocket
Survive small drops with ease.

Cons

Battery life is low, a pair of batteries will last only a week for my intence usage
Built quality is low and the rubber lining started to peel off after a month when my old gle40 has no problems for years.
Cant be used in open spaces[like any other rangefinders, so cant say it as a con]
Carry pouch not included

Simple and accurate but 2 basic flaws. At this price, it could have a level and the back end (side opposite the laser lens) should have been flat. It would have acted as a natural leveller when taking a surface as a reference

Cons :

1) It can not measure in Feet and Inches, even if it has a mode to measure in feet, i.e, lets say if the distance is 6'.11"(6 feet 11 inches), this device measures like 6.9. So the only option left for you is, measure in meter mode and then convert it to feet and inches. This is a major flaw and for some it may be a deal breaker as always you need to depend upon a meter to feet & inches converter.

2) You can not measure any distance during broad day light. it struggles to measure the distance. Hardly it can measure upto 5-10 meters. So if your purpose is to measure outdoor distance, this is not a product for you.

3) No Pouch included in the Box.

Pros :

1) It does its job inside any indoor condition.
2) Very accurate in measuring distance in meter mode.

After much online research and hesitation I finally decided to buy the Bosch GLM 50C. I had initially decided to buy the Leica Disto D2 4.0 

I bought this for my wife who is an interior designer and this has already shown results in speeding up a good part of her on-site work. Looking forward to using it in a lot of DIY home improvement projects as well. At its price point the features are sufficient and everything works exactly as specified, straight out of the box. Typical sturdy Bosch feel.
One suggestion though - in order to be able to lock the laser point on a SMALL OBJECT/FEATURE at a distance, it would help to have a stability aid. The small contact patch of its housing causes the laser to jitter considerably at a distance, making the reading a hit & miss affair. Some kind of a fixed tripod dock is what I imagine, could help.

I was a user of Bosch GLE 30. It's display went off after falling from the fifth storey of a building. It was a rugged and dependable device. With that confidence, I've bought this one. Got delivered as promised by Amazon. The product really surprised me. Such a light weight device with all things I need. The display is the highlight. Stunningly awesome. Has got a digital level too to check if you are holding the device level while taking measurements. Will update more after using further.

Wonderful product with length & angle measuring feature. The quality is superior. Product is small and lightweight. Can be kept in a pocket.
Accuracy is also good. Great built.
Its a rough and tough product with robust design.

Though, there should be protective case for it for storing, as it happens some time that the power button goes up while its being stored in tight pocket or bag, however the auto shutoff protects this, but still.
It may also be noted that the device gets a little dirty while working in construction or similar conditions, and one must maintain it by cleaning after every use for its optimal working.
It may be quite difficult for judging where the laser points on the target if the device is being used outdoors/ under bright sunlight.

Purchased this unit after a long search for taking clearance of power transmission line from ground. Got it @ 13600/- (1500/- Federal Bank debit card discount) on December 2019.
Majority of laser instruments uses laser pointer to measure distances to the target. For oudoor use, the laser is extremely difficult to see with the naked eye and hence the final target cannot be ascertained correctly. But in this unit, a camera and view finder is available and with this setup, the exact target point can be seen on screen and the measurement can be made easily. There is also a 4 stage zoom option for camera to fix the correct target with ease.
Used for taking the distance of a 10mm stranded earth wire at a height of about 30m in a bright shiny day. Have used Leica Disto 510 earlier. It has got so many functions and costs almost thrice.
With regard to battery, 3 AA cells are to be used with this unit which lasts sufficiently longer. Have been using the instrument since December 2019, the battery is still inside. Have taken nearly 75+ measurements, each with ON time of about 5 minutes. The Leica Disto 510 uses 2 AA battery but drains extremely fast with Camera ON.
So considering all these facts, the unit is extremely Value For Money for those who need to take outdoor measurements accurately. Highly recommended.

Good economical IP54 rated laser distance meter. It is very handy for one man, one hand measurements upto 40m with ISO 16331 certified accuracy of +/- 1.5mm. However, it doesn't come with a pouch and lanyard strap. I purchased an amazonbasics camera pouch of large size to use as pouch. I made a lanyard strap of my own from seperately purchased paracord, zorbes braided fishing string, cable tie, bead etc. I wish that they supplied the pouch and lanyard too. The product is mostly suitable for indoors. Using in bright Outdoor conditions you can increase visibility upto 10-15m by wearing laser enhancement glasses like leica or dewalt. If a white/light coloured target plate or cardboard is used the laser reflection could be enhanced outdoors. Target plates could also be made available by Bosch seperately. A level bubble could be provided included or as a seperate attachment even if the inclinometer function is not incorporated. The button for measurement is difficult to press with one hand without shaking the device. The body especially the battery cover could be reinforced with a case to make it more rugged.

Device seal was opened and resealed . Device is working but I suspect it was used as the box was not sealed. Since it is a Bosch device the quality is hood but packaging

It gives inaccurate measurements, calculate 1 inch as 1.2 , if height is 5' 11'' this will show 5.917 then u need to multiply 917 x 1.2 to reach at 11.. tough to use.

If I could then one more star. This is a must have if you are serious about precession and it's from Bosch (I love them!!) AND the GLM 50 is a super value measuring device. Precise and spot on accurate it measures to perfection. It's got Bluetooth connectivity that let's you connect with your mobile. Download the Bosch app from IOS or Play store and the options are limitless. The sprit level too is such a must have.

Excellent product for quick measurements.
If you are in Construction/ architecture/interior must have tool.

1. Hard to work with in bright light ( day).

I have been using this device from past 18 months. Now it stopped working. Yhe dispaly keep blinking and couldn't see anything on screen. I didn't expect it from BOSCH. don't buy this. You will get cheaper varients from other brands. Why anyone care about brands if it is not worth it.

But only isue is laser point is not visible in day light.

I am really dissatisfied with this device as nowhere in the description the seller has mentioned that this device doesn't work in direct sunlight.

The product looks robust and neat but the operational manual is not so good and interchange of units also not available on it. I was not able to measure the length of the plot as it doesn't work in the day time due to sunlight.

Apart from this the laser dot is not visible from a far of place as it's too dull. Apart from this it works only on smooth surfaces while it's accuracy drops on rough walls etc.

Battery draining within 5 mins vm!! When i got this, i used for 10 measurements and after 2 days when i ON it, its showing empty battery.

I have bought the 30m variant. The laser sight is easy to spot indoors and in small spaces outdoors but hard to spot outdoors in broad daylight for larger distances. The product is overall quite good. The reading is instantaneous and reliable.

Have been used it for last two months. Accurate and measurement can be taken in mm and ft also. Some review I saw that battery is weak. But I am still using the device with the same battery I received when I bought the product. Very useful. Only thing is that you can’t see the sensor light when in sunlight. Since it’s 40m, my use is majorly in Indoor

Great for simple measurements, wish it had the Ft and Inch format like 5 ft 6 inch instead of showing it as 5.5 Ft it really gets confusing. The soft rubberised body is good to hold but is prone to wear and tear, and the screen glass is very easy to scratch, do get some sort of screen protector if you plan to use it regularly. The measurements themselves are fairly accurate, no problem whatsoever

Bosch GLM 40 is an amazing measuring tool, pretty much accurate, easy to use, appealing, compact in size, and various ther features one would love it, last but no the least I love Bosch products.

I love the the way Amazon deliver their products to the end customers in surprising time ( next day delivery), nice packing and give authentic info about the products on their website.

Measurement modes are great. Max distance you can measure is 50m(150ft). In broad daylight it's kind of impossible to measure. I used to carry a white paper to measure in day.

Only thing you can't measure is angle. It does have an option where you can put it at an inclination with reference to a surface but it's not that accurate.

So if you want it for basic distance measurement function. This is the best you can get.

The product reached in time but in really poor packing. You can see the attached pictures. The parcel does not contain any manual, so you need to depend on YouTube videos to learn how to use it, though it isn't too difficult. Package should contain a tiny manual which at least indicates basic usage of the measurer. I'll update the review after using it for a while.

A fantastic addition to my tool kit. Easy to use, comes with a comprehensive manual. Compact, feels good and sturdy, easy to read display, responsive buttons, very accurate and instantaneous measurements. Must have for any home DIY enthusiast.

This is an excellent piece of kit and irrespective of whether you are a builder by profession or a home buyer you need to have this in your bag at all times. Got this a few days back so my review might not be comprehensive enough but so far on usage I will give this five stars. Its pretty accurate with a few mm off here and there. The leveling function is great and is a much better way to get perspective on how off the level is which a traditional bubble level will not give you. With that said for both level and length if you need to the mm/degree accuracy then keeping the analogue tape measure and bubble level near you would be advisable.

After a few days i dont miss my tape measure. I have not seen the battery issues and I used this non-stop for 2 whole days. The app needs some work as mentioned by the other reviewers as it is unable to draw the floor plans as accurately as I would like. Stored values in the app really help and you dont need to make notes while on the build. I do recommend this to everyone - five stars.

The equipment is not designed for measuring short distances ie few CMs otherwise for long distances (few meters) it's very accurate and saves lot of time. I wish company take it as a feedback and develop in its future models that can measure small distances in mm

About the product: Good quality Bosch product. Quick for indoor use, specially to measure heights, i don't have to depend on a helper to hold the other end of a tape. Also stores upto 10 readings in memory, so can cross check the measurements taken.
For outdoor use, it can be used if you can see the laser light. hi

I bought this product without a second thought and reviewing any other brand products because of the brand bosch..needless to say the product didnt disappointed me...my work is mainly related to the measurement of area of rooms and need very high accuracy as possible..got the product within 3 days..very happy with the product ..

I bought Bosch GLM 40 Laser Distance Measurer from Amazon last week. The product arrived very fast, but after inserting the battery there was no response from the device, no matter whatever button I pressed. I ordered for a replacement and the replaced unit too was with the same fate. I feel that it was an absolute waste of my time.
I suspect the product was genuine Bosch, it may be some fake plastic thing.

The product is no doubt a very useful one. I purchased because I thought it's a reliable brand and assuming a good quality. But, I am very dissappointed with the same. A new set of battery lasts one one time use and the next time the battery is exhausted. I even removed the battery thinking of preserving the same to utilize it next time. But of no use.
