I was stripping paint with a wire wheel. After 15 minutes the stickers and labeling bubbled and popped. My thick leather gloves protected my hands, but the tool was too hot to touch. I only use it in short bursts for cutting small metal bits and bobs.

Great grinder for the money, used it recently to cut a lock, accidentally lost the keys to a toolbox and this tool made it pretty easy, avoided the lock cuz the metal it was locked too was much thinner.

Awesome grinder for the price. Was going to rent one until I saw the price. So far I’ve only used it for cutting grout lines and some concrete grinding but feels very capable and has plenty of power. Great addition to the tool collection.

Bosh quality incredibly cheap. In fact I needed a dust cover for the angle grinder but that was more expensive than the actual grinder. I was so furious about this so that I bought the grinder instead :) and I never felt sorry. This tool is one of the most useful and versatile for any domain. Of course is not very powerful but I don't cut thick steel all day long.

Work this grinder hard with heavy metals everyday - usually get over a year with them, but for the price, easy to replace and not worth paying 3x as much on other brands/models.

I bought this in Nov 2019 and haven’t had occasion to use it until last week ( lots of free time during this pandemic! ) The disc flew off when I turned the grinder on. I assumed it hadn’t been attached correctly, so I re-attached it. Same thing happened. I have another grinder which is very heavy; the reason I bought this one being it’s weight. Not sure where the defect is, but I have no intention of trying again!!

Basic Grinder. Works OK and a very good value.
Instruction explaning the initial disc guard installation could use a couple of illustrations.
The toggle power switch was a bit tricky to lock on at first, but after a few uses works smoothly now.

All is good except for these deficiencies:
it's impossible to place the disc guard where you want it. Only a couple of positions work easily.
Switch should be on top, more accessible. The grinder overheats fairly quickly. A disc missing from the box.

Good power and being compact easy to handle. If you are use to a full size angle grinder you have to be careful as your hands are closer to the wheel.

From a DIY perspective it is a great machine to have. I ground a complete staircase wall with it, lawn mower blades etc. With the right wheels it becomes pretty versitile tool. So far I'm loving it!

Removing part of the kitchen tiles, I used it to cut the aluminum edge holding the tiles

Burnt out a similar model cutting 2" x 30" concrete blocks. Does everything a more expensive brand can do. JUst let it cool down between cuts.

It’s fine for small jobs. Don’t expect to use this all day long. I’ve had to stop it just so it would cool down after about 15mins of constant grinding. It’s good value for money, but not something I would use on a job site. Good enough for a homeowner though, plenty of power in spurts.

only used it on 1 job so far but it was a tough one and this thing handled it well. cutting a granite counter top to put in a sink.. all in all very happy with it and cant beat that price.

Good price and quick shipping. Put this grinder through the paces immediately by using it for a large hardscaping job I did at my house. Hours and hours of use cutting 4" thick stone. Have done some other smaller metal grinding and cutting with no issues. Good value.

I have used this a few times now and it makes very straight cuts. My wife grabs it from me and wants to use it saying i am doing it wrong lol. It must be a good product easy to use.

A great price. The grinder did slow a little when grinding down thinset but none the less it did the job. It was easy to hold and operate.

Used it for hours to grind rust and paint off the fenders of my Civic. A great deal for the price, and much cheaper than anything comparable I could find in local hardware stores. I used a wire cup as well, and it worked great with that, too.

I have owned several types of grinders and this one is absolute garbage! do not order, It is absolutely worth it to spend double to price and get a grinder far more superior, I purchased 4 grinders at this time and 2/4 blew up. I am not sure if they were defective however it is not worth being cheap and having the possibilty of harming yourself or other employees.

I have several Bosch tools, and this one is like the others - powerful, accurate, and reliable. Very easy to use, attach the cutting heads, etc. Good length of cord. Arrived early than the estimate.

worked well once cutting concrete but second time used it stopped working after 5 min of grinding probably overheating
very poor product, on floor grinding, it stopped working every 3 min and then stopped working completely

It got a lot of smoke at first time when I was trying to cut my concrete foundation....Not made for heavy duty for sure.

not much to say, Great little grinder. grinded out 2 fenders and a rocker. didn't get too hot. that gets a thumbs up from me
