Nothing to complain about here! I bought this for my father as a gift after he got some crazy idea that he just had to try, but didn’t have the right tools for. He’s NOT a “handy” person. He had one power tool prior to this, and that was a standard drill. This was super intuitive for him to use, and switching out the disks was easy. He was able to pull off his crazy Christmas idea after all.

Bought this on a sale. I am quite pleased with it. I usually buy dewalt and cordless but for something like this, i think its important to have the cord so the device gets that juice. It came with a metal grinder which I stupidly used to CUT a metal fence. The only downside I think is the “Key” to change the wheel isnt attached to the device. I am almost sure by this time next year I will have lost the key. fortunately I think it can be solved with some pliers

It's got some jam to it, at 200lbs I can still stall the motor if I lean on it but at that point I should really just change the disk to a more aggressive cutting Alu-Oxide one. Great replacement for the Mastercraft that ate it's commutator bars and failed while at the cottage getting ready to weld the truck frame.

So I picked this little guy up as a beater grinder. To do the real dirty work and for the price, wouldn't be too bothered if it died sooner than later. I like to keep 4-5 grinders around the shop, 2 of them being cordless Dewalts, 1 corded Makita, and 1 corded Metabo.
I honestly wasn't expecting much from this grinder, but it just so happened that on the same day I received it, my plasma cutter stopped working and I had 4 feet of 3/8" steel plate I needed to cut. I know the 15 amp Metabo would have made decent work of it if need be, but I wanted to give the Bosch a try for the hell of it. Being quite unoptimistic, I also pulled out an older 5" 8 amp grinder from Princess Auto to compare it with.
The Bosch literally finished the entire cut in under 20 minutes. Sure, it was not an enjoyable experience, but I wanted to see what this cheap thing was made of, and it really surprised me. Not once did it torque stall on me (had a decent amount of pressure on it so it wouldn't grab/kick). It would slow down a slight bit in some areas, but never full-on quit.
Mid-way through I slapped a disc on the 8 amp princess grinder just to see how much of a difference it would make, and the Princess grinder would stall immediately. It could hardly cut 1/2" before stalling out on me. The Bosch didn't stall once.
Once I finished the cut (20 min of pure abuse) and pulled my gloves off I realized how hot the grinder was. I couldn't even hold it with my bare hands, it was literally scorching hot. I let it cool down for 5 mins, which was pretty much useless, and went right back at it with a flap disc to clean up the edge. Another 5-10 mins with it still burning hot from the 4' cut. It still worked like new.
So tldr; I'd definitely buy this again. Would I purposely use it again to cut thick plate? No. That's why I have a plasma and my Metabo. But honestly, this thing RIPS for the price, and just keeps taking whatever you throw at it (for now at least). Time will tell if it'll stand up to the abuse, but for $45, you seriously can't go wrong. I'm also kind of curious about trying the Tacklife 8.5amp 4.5" grinder next, and maybe I'll pit it up against the good ol' Bosch.

So far this thing has been bombproof. I have put this to the test cutting steel for projects as well as heavy use of wire wheels etc. for a variety of clean up/pre painting jobs. I've use flap wheels to finish a slew of sanding projects and even used it to sharpen lawnmower blades with ease. Not much else to say except this this is an amazing deal for the $50.00 cash (Cdn) I paid. For the price of a few rounds of coffee I got a tool which is insanely useful, versatile and which will no doubt last for years. It's a tad on the heavy side which is really only because its very solidly built. The on/off switch locks in the on position (I'm sure that's standard for other brands) and the provided wrench makes changing discs easy. If I were to wish for anything it would have been a better positioned lock button (the one that holds the head from spinning while replacing disc's) and maybe variable speed for use with wire brushes. For the price those are certainly small points. Highly recommended.

Amazing piece of hardware for jobs around the shop/garage. Used with a Dewalt metal cutting wheel, this grinder cuts through steel wire rope, stainless steel plate and tubing... haven't found anything yet that it can't do. As expected, make sure you wear your PPE - the shield can be rotated to block most of the sparks, but still wear your safety glasses. And if you're doing more than a single cut, wear your earplugs.

The custom metal fabrication shop I work at uses the Makita 9005b 5" grinder extensively, however some of the guys like this smaller 4.5" Bosch 1375A grinder for deburring work as it's more maneuverable than the large trigger switch grinder. These grinders last quite a while in our shop, but that is likely due to the light work they endure. Amazon has the best price by a large margin, since they're $50 on Amazon and $66 to $80 elsewhere.

Hard to use, I did't found the manuel very useful, I had to google and watch video to understand how it work, and it was very hard to install components, I had to go to a tool store to understand how to process. It might be good for really quick job, but mine overheat after 10 minutes, also the protector shield is a bit messy to install and to use.

Works as expected all parts as described by the manufacterer.
There was some confusion about coming with several grinding disks but really it come with just 1.
The extra disks i needed only costed me a few dollars.
All in all very happy with my purchase.

If, like me, you are more a weekend warrior than a pro contractor, you just can't go wrong with that grinder. Really impressed with its performance. I was hesitating between that model and a DeWalt 90$ 11amp competing model and doesn't regret my choice one bit. Lightweight, stable and efficient.

Can't beat the price. Bosch is a good name in tools, a step up from the lower end stuff. This grinder has some heft to it and feels like it's made well. I've only used it to cut tile so far and it's been great. It's not a heavy-duty grinder, but is exactly what I needed and most certainly seems sufficient for anything I'd ever need it for. Very comfortable and easy to use.

excellent tool. Quite comfortable in your hand and very powerful. I used it for shaving off some concrete floor using Dewalt grinding wheel and then I used it for cutting ceramic tiles. I used Bosch DB4543S tile cutting blade to cut the ceramic tiles. I am highly impressed and happy I got this tool, and know this I am first time user. I will recommend this to anyone, worth it.

Would have given this a 5 star rating except for the difficulty in positioning the safety guard where I want it. It is limited by where the tightening/locking screw is located and it tends to butt right next to the grinder body, relative to where I want it..
As for a powerful machine, that it is and it certainly meets my needs.

One of my favourite tools. It’s powerful, versatile, polishing, grinding, cutting, sending, all kind of works. You only need the right discs for different works. Good quality, very sturdy. Very well priced, I will definitely recommend this one for any family handyman!

To be honest I have not used it yet. The job I purchased it for is outside and it's been too bloody cold to go out there and do it. But it's a Bosch and going by the other Bosch tools I have I'm sure it'll be just fine.

I was stripping paint with a wire wheel. After 15 minutes the stickers and labeling bubbled and popped. My thick leather gloves protected my hands, but the tool was too hot to touch. I only use it in short bursts for cutting small metal bits and bobs.

Great grinder for the money, used it recently to cut a lock, accidentally lost the keys to a toolbox and this tool made it pretty easy, avoided the lock cuz the metal it was locked too was much thinner.

Awesome grinder for the price. Was going to rent one until I saw the price. So far I’ve only used it for cutting grout lines and some concrete grinding but feels very capable and has plenty of power. Great addition to the tool collection.

Bosh quality incredibly cheap. In fact I needed a dust cover for the angle grinder but that was more expensive than the actual grinder. I was so furious about this so that I bought the grinder instead :) and I never felt sorry. This tool is one of the most useful and versatile for any domain. Of course is not very powerful but I don't cut thick steel all day long.

I bought this in Nov 2019 and haven’t had occasion to use it until last week ( lots of free time during this pandemic! ) The disc flew off when I turned the grinder on. I assumed it hadn’t been attached correctly, so I re-attached it. Same thing happened. I have another grinder which is very heavy; the reason I bought this one being it’s weight. Not sure where the defect is, but I have no intention of trying again!!

Basic Grinder. Works OK and a very good value.
Instruction explaning the initial disc guard installation could use a couple of illustrations.
The toggle power switch was a bit tricky to lock on at first, but after a few uses works smoothly now.

All is good except for these deficiencies:
it's impossible to place the disc guard where you want it. Only a couple of positions work easily.
Switch should be on top, more accessible. The grinder overheats fairly quickly. A disc missing from the box.

Good power and being compact easy to handle. If you are use to a full size angle grinder you have to be careful as your hands are closer to the wheel.
