Upgrading from 1440p 165hz to 1080p 240hz is worth it if your competitively gaming.
For anyone wondering if it’s worth it to go from 1440p 144-165hz to 1080p 240hz for competitive gaming. It is worth it! If your not into competitive gaming however stick with the 1440p. The difference is not major but where this monitor really shines is the low input lag and the smoothness in high action moments. In slower paced times it feels equivalent to a 165hz but in fast pace moments there is a difference. I play primarily rocket league, CS:GO, apex legends. It does take a bit to notice the differences(at first it seemed identical to 165hz) but after awhile you notice the higher refresh rate. It is more a feeling than a visual difference.

Lives up to the expectations and more!
This BenQ Zowie monitor comes in rated as one of the best monitors here on Amazon and everywhere else it sells, and for good reason. The monitor is extremely well designed and built for quality. The specs on this monitor for the price are outstanding. Not only is the monitor great, but the stand is out of this world magnificent, as it is also incredibly well designed, balanced and robust... it is adjustable in every direction, up, down, left, right, both tilt and angle in all directions. The monitor stand has a carry handle and a pass through aperture to create a more aesthetic and orderly look to the monitor cables... both very nice details. Lastly, this monitor comes with Display Port and SS 3.0 USB cables, a decent custom dust cover and the S-Switch, which makes changing monitor settings a breeze. All in all, this is probably one of the best monitor and stand deals out there, if not the very best!

Better hope nothing breaks.
Let me first say, if you're looking for a 240 Hz monitor, the BenQ XL2540 does the job. For gaming, particularly first person shooters, the difference between a 240 Hz monitor and a 60 Hz monitor is noticeable. It has some nice extra features, like black side panels that help you focus on the monitor and a pop out headphone stand.
That being said, the quality of the BenQ monitor leaves something to be desired. Coming from Samsung and ViewSonic monitors, I'm a little disappointed quite frankly. The material seems quite flimsy when compared to the aforementioned brands. And for a 240 Hz monitor, there are better alternatives in the market for your money. The three year warranty is nothing but a snot-filled piece of tissue. Recently I transferred the monitor to a monitor stand and when I turned the monitor back on, I had a bunch of white lines, resulting in a broken display. So I submitted an RMA request as the monitor was still under warranty and waited. No response. Called their technical support number, apparently I was first in line, and I waited. No response. Tried their website and waited. Called the number again, left a message and waited. A weekend passed. Called again, finally someone picked up the phone and the response I got was basically "Sorry, buy another monitor."

Sudden video issue after months of use
This monitor was amazing. Having the combination of 240 Hz and G-Sync made playing FPS games super fast and fun. However, as of today, the monitor suddenly displayed these vertical multicolored scan lines that made it impossible to see anything on screen. I tried looking up solutions but couldn't find anything and there doesn't seem to be any way to get it replaced. I worked really hard to get this monitor, saving up for over a year since we don't have much money. Really sad to see such an amazing monitor run into an issue like this.

Beautiful Monitor
I chose this monitor based off of its reputation in the fps e-sports scene. It was to be the centerpiece to my first "gaming" PC build. At first i couldn't decide if i wanted 240hz 1080p or 140hz 1440p. Well i'm glad to report hat i made the right choice (for me) the colors and customization potential of the monitor far surpassed my expectations and going from 60 Hz console gaming to 240 Hz PC gaming has been nothing short of game changing. I was nervous at first that i might not like the relatively large bezels compared to the competition but I don't even notice them. Overall a great product.

Best Gaming Monitor on the market!!!!
For many 240hz monitors seem like a bit of a stretch, unless you can consistently output 240 frames per second. I run a system with a 3700x and 2070 Super and this monitor feels like a brand new experience, great customization settings for the variety of games you may be playing. The black equalizer really helps shine when people sit in dark corners. No flickering. Comes with a hideable headset hanger for those who never have a place to keep their headsets when not in use. Even in the packaging came with a monitor cover from zowie to help keep the monitor covered when not in use. the S switch to use as a controller for the menu, most beautiful thing about this monitor I don't think I can ever scroll a monitors settings ever again without one. not a bulky base to be able to adjust your keyboard how you like. Monitor does have a headphone and microphone jack so you don't have to plug to your pc.

A good 240hz option for gaming.
This monitor is obviously great for gaming which is pretty much the only reason you should be buying this monitor. Some issues I have with the monitor is they removed the DAC holder from the monitor stand to make more space for keyboard room for pro players but sadly the dac just looks out of place now for me. Also I’m not sure but I don’t see any screws to hold in the wings and mine just hang there and if I bump them or my desk shakes they just fall off. Not sure how they are supposed to stay on since older models had screws to screw them in but that’s the only other issue I have with this monitor.

240hz monitor that comes with a controller
One thing I really like about this monitor is the controller. Navigating the setting is so easy, and you can easily switch between 3 settings profiles with just one tap of a button. Super easy to install and very glad it comes with a display port cable. There is nothing I dislike about this monitor except that the controller doesn’t power on or off the monitor.

not good at all
absolute trash. no different than my $70 monitor. for the amount of $$, I should be blown away by the image quality but everything, websites YouTube vids and Fortnite look the same as my cheap monitor. in fact my cheap monitor looked better until I changed some settings on this one and it still just looked the same. for the $$ this should blow my mind in terms of image but even my 15 year old thought it was crap.
maybe I'm doing something wrong, thou for the $$ it should be amazing out of the box or maybe all monitors are the same under the hood

+Extremely versatile and adjustable
-Price. This beast is $500 which is a lot for a monitor, considering my whole computer was only about $900. But this monitor makes a 144hz monitor look like a joke with the 240hz and DyAc. You won't regret it if you can afford it.

Worth the investment
To begin, the monitor is very well built, and you can easily understand why esport pro gamers use this monitor. Yes it's really bright but there are so many adjustable functions. I play mostly FPS and this did not disappoint.
Before i had a acer 27" 144hz monitor, and i can see a huge difference in picture quality. The difference in movement is very minor but clarity and response time is off the chart. The best monitor i have ever used so far and worth the investment.
I did go down a size in monitor, but its perfectly fine and worth it in my personal opinion. If you play mostly FPS this is the go to monitor.

Mine would flicker and turn off on random
Monitor looks Okay, considering it's a several years old model. Unfortunately, mine started flickering and acting up next day I used, which made it impossible to use. Color accuracy is not great. All it's about the 240Ghz refresh rate, which you can only benefit if you play on a Local Network. I strongly believe that there will be no significant advantage when playing such titles like COD/Warzone as a network latency will counter all of your added FPS. Also, it's 2020 and you be playing your titles in HD and not even 2K.

Great 60 to 240 FPS. All three inputs
Just upgraded from this 60hz to this monitor. Loved the quality when it comes to games.
I read reviews said it sucks at 60hz. And in some reviews i couldn’t find that they use all their inputs or how well it is workspace wise.
In my opinion my MacBook 2019 at 60hz or to 240 is pretty nice. But I prefer Mac at 60 external. But I use ALL three inputs, both HDMI to my MacBook and PS4, then DP to my PC Tower. The input lag is not that noticeable in my opinion, because. I had this same set up with different chords on an old 60hz monitor. And it was time to step up game and upgrade.
I would recommend!! :) will update if any caveats come in the way.

Best gaming monitor.
I used to have Asus VG248QE 144 Hz and decided to upgrade to 240 Hz. First, I purchased the cheapest 240Hz to try out, and it was disappointing. After returning that one, I got XL2546 and I can safely say that you feel the difference of high quality. No flickering, no G-Sync or FreeSync problem. Black equalizer works perfect as well. Just one thing about this monitor is its price.

Beware of the price! Only 20% improvement over 144hz.
I paid for 2 day shipping, item arrived 4 days later, first boot up was a mess, screen was distorted.. i figured to change the DP cables and it worked!! This monitor is a beast compare to 144hz this probably 20% better i would say.. but after a month of use the distortion came back so i had to refund it, must have been dropped during shipping. Overall im blown with the performance setting up the monitor have never been this easy! Ask me if its worth it, i would say no! Because of the price. I am going back to my old XL2411P.

Fps is not worth losing quality
Pros: The smoothest monitor I ever used, and black equalizer is amazing
Cons: picture quality is terrible comparing to 2k and 4k

Best monitor for eSports.
The monitor works great for all me needs. But people have didn’t needs when it comes to monitors. If you are looking to play at the highest level you possibly can with 240hrz than this is your monitor.
Pros: it’s really good for FPS games but you need a high end GPU in order to achieve those frames in certain games.
Cons: overall is a really great monitor but the only issue i have is that it’s a TN panel so it’s a little harder to find that perfect setting to play on graphic wise.

Great monitor, it can even hold your phone
At first, I put the side protectors in a drawer thinking I would never use them. I realized later that by putting two screws through the bottom of one panel, I could turn it into a phone holder.

Still on 60 frames? Take the leap!
Really can't find anything to complain about. Great monitor, easy controls, plenty of options, multiple profiles. This is my first monitor in a good while. Its amazing how much more emersive games can be on something other than a TV. And going from 60 to 240fps is crazy.

Actual noticable upgrade from 144hz
If you're wondering if you will notice a difference going from 144hz to 240hz, know that you will. Overall, FPS games feel more consistently smooth. There's no cuts, screen tears, or lag. Obviously, it also just smoother in general.

Great picture, wish it was 1440p though.
Love the monitor, has a great picture for 1080p. The aesthetics are pretty plain but the 1ms 240hz is awesome. I run 240fps/240hz and it's pretty smooth and clear. I will have to upgrade to a 1440p though soon, 1080p is fading away.
