Cabello con mucho frizz,

OK I was a skeptic. How much can a blow dryer affect your hair? Apparently a lot. My daughter in law brought one of these to my home while on a visit. She and my son urged me to try it. I have almost shoulder length straight, fine hair. I used the same hair products, same brushes and all I can say is wow. My hair responded. It looked fuller, fluffier and curled they way a wanted. I immediately ordered my own. May seem expensive but when you consistently have good hair days it is worth every cent.

The reason I have to give it only 3 stars instead of 5 is because the enamel on the handle has started cracking/shrinking (it looks like when you melt those plastic sleeves around an Easter egg). This actually started about a year ago, and since it didn't really affect anything, I thought, "Meh, it's fine." The handle isn't hot or anything, just fading/cracking. Just recently, the enamel has also started falling off, which revealed the red paint layer underneath. This shouldn't be a big deal, but with the heat of the dryer, the paint is literally melting off, and each time I dry my hair the palm of my hand gets covered in red paint! It washes right off with soap and water, but this isn't normal, also I have to make sure I don't accidentally touch my hair (or anything else) with that hand.
Anyhow, for a professional dryer that presumably would be used for hours a day at a hair salon, I'm surprised this happened when I only use it for 7 minutes a day. Again, it's been 3 years, and there's nothing else wrong, it functions fine, but I now need to replace it because I can't deal with a bloody-looking hand every morning. I'll be replacing it with a $20 hair dryer so I won't be upset if I need to replace the next one after a couple years.
