This blow dryer is amazing. It's easily the most expensive blow dryer I've ever purchased in my life... that being said this thing has shaved 7 minutes off my blowdry time. I have thin hair, but a lot of it. Its half way down my back. If I don't blowdry and straighten it, its a frizzy limp mess. I can get away with blowdrying ONLY with this awesome dryer.... it's that good. I can't believe a hair dryer has made such a difference. ... I truly thought they were all created equal. Definitely worth every dollar. I deducted a star because the nozzle that attaches doesn't really stay attached very well and the powdercoat paint on the body of the dryer itself chips really easily. Doesn't affect performance but for this price it shouldn't look like an older beat up blow dryer.

I bought mine three years ago, and it's still working perfectly like a champ. No more buying Vidal Sassoon or Conair dryers from Walmart for me!!!! Those historically have a useful life of just a few years, then they just die. Not this one! And get this, last month, the plastic vent guard on the back of the dryer that twists off had broken. I wrote to the manufacturer via their webiste customer service and received an email back asking for some numbers off the dryer, and they mailed me a replacement for free! This truly is a quality product, and you will get your money's worth by a lengthy life. Just take care of it, and don't keep dropping it in your bathroom drawer like I do. Place it down gently so you don't break the plastic guard thing :-) hee hee

I've been using Walmart specials for dryers for all my life thinking all hair dryers were the same. After the last one died, I purchased Costco special and it was a disaster - hair got frizzy, and the dryer was heavy. My wife and kids complained that dryer took too long and they needed to take a break inbetween to give their arm a rest from the weight. So, I returned the dryer and began my search on the internet. My criteria was light weight, ionized, that dries hair quickly, and finally came upon this Babylis Pro. I don't know what other highend dryer feels like, but this certainly seems to fit the bill. Very light, dependable (had it for about a year and still performs like new) and drys your hair very quickly. And the price was pretty reasonable.

The red paint on the outside melts and gets on everything. It happens slowly for at first you don't understand why your hands are a bit read and your sink, etc. Terrible!

I am on my second Babylis hair dryer of this model. I have thick, long hair that takes forever to dry, and this gets it done in about 10 minutes with a round brush. I recommend this dryer because it is a good value, but there are a couple of things to note. The first dryer I had quit working after 1 year. I couldn't find the manufacturer or warranty, so I bought another dryer that was comparable in price but not as good. So I went back and bought another Babyliss about a year ago. For some reason, the handle has change to a light pink color, so it doesn't look as nice as it should. Other than the appearance, the flat nozzle (which I always use) comes off pretty easily when the dryer is hot. The cord gets freakishly tangled up for some reason. Other than these things, the dryer is good.

Got this for my girlfriend because she needed a new hairdryer. After she started using it, she noticed that it dries her hair more evenly and quickly. The air heats up quickly, and the motor is strong. Overall, it has been great and helps her get ready faster than she used too.

I love my new hair dryer! I have thick, case and frizzy hair and this blow dryer helps so much! if I use a good shampoo before hand, I don't even have to straighten my hair. It cuts drying time down and was a great replacement for my over 5 year old ionic blow dryer I got from Sally's. I am very pleased with this dryer. I did a lot of research before purchasing and I am happy with my purchase.
I know some reviews said the buttons were in a bad spot and were being accidentally hit during blow drying but I have not had any issues with this. I also like that the cool shot is fairly cool and it sets my hair well after a good blow drying. The blow dryer is not too bulky and it is semi-quiet. Overall a great addition to my hair tool collection!

I had to replace a babyliss because I dropped it too many times. It actually still works but the piece that made it click to high broke. That one was heavy but awesome. This one is light in weight and does all that the older heavy model did. I especially appreciate the coating on it that keeps it slip free. Probably why my other model got dropped. It didn't have this rubbery type coating on it. The Cord!!!! LONG! So I can actually nearly walk to the kitchen while drying my hair! Excellent and wouldn't own any other brand of hair dryer. No frizzies with this either! Superb product. I'd recommend this baby!

Good product. This is my 3rd hair dryer from this company and I have never been dissatisfied. Themis blow dryer is light and dries my hip length hair within 7 minutes. My hair comes out less frizzy and straighter . Also some people have said that the red dye rubs off, I have not had that issue within the four months that I’ve had this product .

I’m so annoyed with this purchase but I already used it and can’t return it. It’s heavy and takes forever to dry my hair. Also the switch is right where you hold it so I am constantly switching it off accidentally. Dont buy this ugh I’m so annoyed.

I was on a business trip when my workmates talked about using a better hair dryer. We spend lots of money on cuts and color - why not pay attention to the styling products we use? I never really thought about it? This model had great reviews so I gave it a try. I am glad I did. I could feel a difference after the first use. It was light to hold, had lots of air flow, and I liked the features this model had.
Update: Yes, I still love this hair dryer, but the paint coming off is a problem. Not only does the unit look terrible, but my wall is red. I want to get another one to keep in my travel bag, but I'm having a really hard time saying yes. Sorry red hairdryer - I am taking away a star.

i needed a new dryer, so I asked my hairdresser what she'd recommend and she said Babylis. I read the reviews for this and they seemed good, so I placed my order. I've used this dryer about 4-5 times and it's unbelievable what a difference it makes. I have thick hair that's a little coarse and I'm also going gray so that hair is coarse/curly. I usually dry my hair, then use a flat iron. This Babylis dries my hair faster, and it feels much softer and not dry (as in lacking moisture). On days when it's not humid, I don't even have to use my flat iron. At this price, this dryer isn't that much more than a drugstore hairdryer, but it is worth it! I'm so impressed that I might by the travel size and take it with me instead of using hotel dryers. Unlike some of the reviewers, I have no issue with the heat settings. Everythings works as advertised.

The filter did not stay on well, so as a result of it falling off the tabs all broke off. Although I tried to hold the filter on as I dried my hair, it still developed a burning smell so I had to replace it for fear that it would start on fire. A previous dryer that I purchased from this company actually did start on fire! You cannot beat the output which results in a huge decrease in drying time though, so I broke down an purchased another just like it - hopefully, the third time will be the charm!

I used my Mom's and like it. So I bought one. A bit expensive, but it seems sturdy. 4 stars because the on/off buttons are placed so I some times accidentally turn the hairdryer off or to a different setting. The cool button is conveniently placed. Plenty power to dry my short hair in 30 seconds with my head upside down. Then about 2 more minutes to style using the cool button. I can recommend this hair dryer.

This dryer is one my favorites, the red color is beautiful and elegant and matches with my straightener and Revlon paddle brush. I initially bought this because it matched my straightener, but its even better than I anticipated. Its very light when I'm drying my hair and doesn't leave a strain in my wrist. As well as it cuts my drying time by a fraction and leaves my hair feeling silky and smooth with a fluffy finish which I love. I've had this drying now 5 years and still working great

My hair used to dry in frizzy kinda cotton candy clump. Now it’s an amazing difference. The item always talks about thick beautiful hair but they should say it works wonders on dry damaged thin hair.

Es la segunda secadora que compro ya que la primera me ha durado muchísimo y ha salido muy buena. La potencia es exacta y el secado lo hace mas fácil y rápido. La recomiendo totalmente.
