Pleased with the product, not with the service.Called for tech support, they said they would call back in 2 hours, never called back. I recalled and got a tech that spoke some other language, and was zero help solving my problem. Eventually, I resolved the issue myself.

If you are looking for a Top quality monitor without the high end price then look no further. I've had this monitor for 3 months now and it is running perfect with no discoloration or dead pixels and the speakers work far better than any laptop speakers. This LED monitor includes USB and VGA/DVI ports and has P.I.P. which is a plus. Overall Excellent Monitor with a nice webcam too!

i like this product very much. i compared the price with other stores and this was little better. Price is good with the options this ne has. I also called my friend and he also recommanded ASUS. Shipping was no problem, arrived as they told.

Great monitor that will last for a very long time. Resolution and features are very good.My biggest problem is that I cannot get the camera microphone to work which means I cannot do video chat as of now.There is driver update at this time.

The monitor is fine after you tweak the settings a bit. I had to call Customer Support to figure out how to get the image full screen.The Web Cam has a conflict with my TV card, so I cannot use it with FB or Skype while TV is playing.

I just recently bought the asus vk278q. This monitor is one of the best monitors for gaming and web surfing but there is one major problem. My new monitor is lopsided. When placed on a desk the monitor is slightly tilted about 2 cm. IT IS VERY ANNOYING!! I might even exchange this monitor because of this defect.

Asus makes several of these monitors with webcams but most have no microphone making the feature (one of the distinguishing features) of very limited value. It is apparently not a technical limittion since their (smaller) MK241H did have one. The video quality is fine - nice color, even lighting - making it an OK large monitor.

Monitor works Great under Mac OS X but the embedded Webcam DOES NOT WORK. Contacted the manufacturer and even though they have had many request for Mac OS X Drivers, they suggest I try it under windows.......

This monitor is huge! It has great color and many different settings for different applications. All the connections work great including the in out speakers. This monitor is great for gaming. Never had a problem with ghosting or dead pixels. I also like the fact you need not install any extra drivers.LED Monitor (excellent contrast), the price for the size, and the available inputs since I prefer using DVI instead of HDMI as long as I am not moving audio.Picture quality is spot on after you reduce the brightness and contrasts from the out of the box settings (I used a professional A/V dvd to calibrate but the RGB settings were already spot on)

I'm not a geek, but over the years I've connected multiple monitors from Dell to Apple. This is impossible to install and setup. No documentation at all. Nada! I've just spent two hours on it and that's it. It will be returned tomorrow. Funny, I bought a Asus laptop once and it was piece of junk. I should have known better.

I was able to compare this monitor side by side with a 70,000:1 CCFL monitor. The Asus appeared to have much lower contrast, even though it's an LED model that is supposed to have extremely high contrast. This was noticeable during web browsing, gaming, and when running through professional test patterns for calibrating monitors. It also appears that the all of the LEDs are on the bottom of the monitor, reflected up. This was very noticeable on a dark screen. In addition, the colors did not seem very accurate, even after several attempts at adjustment (which by the way....the buttons on the side are very difficult for adjusting).This Asus monitor also sits very low on the stand. With it side by side with another 27" monitor...the other monitor looked larger just because of how much higher it was on the stand.Spend a little less money, and get a better monitor (Samsung, Viewsonic).

This is a great monitor. This is the first LED backlit monitor that I have used and the display is definitely brighter than the monitor that it replaced. Since it is a lot bigger, I was a little worried that the display might appear less sharp than on the previous 22" monitor, but everything is crisp. The built in webcam is more than adequate for Skype, which is the only thing I use it for. The only negative I have about it is that since it has the webcam, it would have been logical to include a built in microphone.

I'll make it short... the product is fantastic at a great price. its NOT a TV but hook in a cable box, HDMI, or Apple TV, etc and you have your TV. right out of the box it works, i have connected it to 2 different computer, one MAC and one PC, and it's easy switch between them. the sharpness is un matched from the LED....so much value... also Electronica Direct was fantastic to deal with... for you advanced guys, you can get it tweaked just right to be even more amazing. one more thing, you can have picture in picture as well as 2 full size screens open at one time as 27`is so large ...see you in the PITs....i'll get there but i'm ecstatic and so here i sit...cheers

Don't be scared by it's lower price or brand name, this is a great monitor! HD video, PC, and PS3 games all look fantastic on this screen. If you are looking to save a little on a high quality monitor, definitely give this a shot.
