It's a solid and beautiful PSU, though the power screen is on the wrong side. If you mount the PSU with fan facing down, which is how you should in most cases for better air intake, the power screen faces right, but most cases have tempered glass on the left.

I purchased this used so I didn’t expect much, but when it came it looked like it was packaged brand new. This is asus first generation of power supplies to my knowledge, but they knocked it out of the park. This power supply is awesome. I love how it visually shows you the wattage usage at any given time and he’s rgb. It’s an enthusiasts dream. I highly recommend this psu.

Overall I love the psu, its a shame there isn't any in stock. I used it for a about a week and it blew up on me. Amazon just wants to refund but I want it fixed. Its a beautiful psu and looks great in an all rog build with the helios. Hopefully I can get asus to fix or rma directly. Really reqlly want either this or 1200w version.
Update.
So i had a watercooling disaster and lost about an oz in a running psu. The psu blew of course but the rest of the hardware was fine. I immediately reorder a 3rd psu and running great.

The colors are not accurate due to the plastic logos on the unit. I was going for an all white rgb design, however the colors become bluish tint. Other colors become more blue tinted as well. For that reason, I give it a 4/5. It displays the wattage accurately and still looks cool. Definitely not the best bang for buck deal though, as there are other psu that perform similarly for a fraction of the price.

This unit meets my expectations. The only "issue" I had with it is that it only worked with the supplied cables.
I replaced a Corsair RM650 and made the mistake of using the SATA power cable that was already in my system. I had replaced all the others needed. When turning it on, the fan did a quick spin and nothing else. In testing I removed that one cable from the PSU and it spun right up. After replacing with the supplied sata to psu cable it did work with no issues. This would have been a nice bit of info to have before starting. The included "manual" is less than stellar

I am very impressed with the overall quality of this PSU. I was debating on if it was worth the extra money for the RGB and the OLED display. Now, no doubt you pay more for these features but if you are like me and wanted to build a PC with all ASUS components and utilize the ASUS AURA on the whole build you can't go wrong with this PSU. I highly recommend it.

Well designed overkill. Under full AIDA64 CPU & GPU (9900K & RTX2080Ti) stress it drew 575W, the fan ran slowly and intermittently. Display and RGB are very cool and addressable. If I had it to do over again, I would buy the 800W version. If you need 1200W of cool, go for it!

It’s a nice power supply that comes stock with very nice aftermarket quality cables. The screens cool but you’ll need an ASUS halo hub to control its RGB.

I purchased the THOR 850 power supply for my new build. This power supply is great I chose this for RGB and the display but most of all for the Asus quality. This thing is outstanding the only thing i can think to improve this would be to have made the 8 pin to 4+4 cable a bit longer its a tight fit in the Helios case. But over all this power supply excellent.

Looks good in my desk build. Aura works great. Love the wattage display! Platinum efficiency. Wire combs come with it. I have yet to run into a problem. Two cons, CPU wires are short for a desk build and 24 pin, CPU and GPU are the only braided wires. The rest are shiny black. I believe I knew this beforehand and decided it is no big deal. Would be nice for the premium I paid. To me ASUS ROG makes great products.

Does NOT support Asus Rtx 3080 / 3090 video cards. I called Asus and they did nothing and I just bought it.

I cannot be any happier. This is a great product, a bit pricy but..hey you get what you pay for.....this is high quality PSU. Fully modular which helps tremendously on small cases but at the same time is also a super helpful for a computer populated with 3 GTX 1080 Ti.

I received a dead power supply and didn’t wanna risk injury trying to jump start it with a bobby pin but I can tell you how beautiful and well made this power supply is. Hoping for a refund or a replacement currently waiting at the moment.

Great Asus product. Like the sleeved cables included for MB, CPU and GPU. Fan hardly ever turns on, only under extreme load and when powered on its quiet. Just spendy!!!!!

I found a dead roach very crispy and old in my unit and it was being sold as brand new not only that there is hair stuck to some stuff inside the PSU
As of right now I’m testing it and I’m pretty sure this psu is dead I just got sold a dead psu

I mainly only use under 400 power, I have a lot of wires to plug works perfectly.
