En mi casl cancele em envio porque me di cuenta despues de que el gsync es compatible y no nativo. Es un freesync adaptado con drivers pero todo ño que lei es un pedazo de monitor

Über den Preis muss man denk ich nicht viel sagen, Typisch Asus RoG zahlt man viel für den Namen, aber dennoch bekommt man ein Stylisch hochwertiges Produkt. Technisch ist dieser Monitor ein Traum. Wer das Geld übrig hat und auf der suche nach einem neuen Gaming Monitor ist, der ist hier genau richtig.

Habe den Asus-WQHD gegen einen HD-Monitor getauscht. Durch die höhere Auflösung wirkt das Bild viel schärfer. Die Bildwiederholrate von 140/165 HZ ist für mich absolut ausreichend und sieht gegenüber 60 Hz absolut top aus. Am meisten begeistert mich die HDR, die Bilder wirken wirklich wahnsinnig reell und farmebfroh!

Cet écran a un très bon temps de réponse comparable au lg 27gl850 sauf que le asus à un meilleur contraste 1100+ là où le lg a un contraste entre 700 et 800 mais le Asus est aussi plus chèr donc c'est un choix à faire.
IPS glow visible sur ecran full black comme d'habitude avec les dalles ips mais hors écran tout noir il ne se voit pas, même sur les scènes sombres ça va.

Alles Super. Montage ist sehr einfach. Es sind alle nötigen Kabel vorhanden HDMI sowohl auch DP. Leider keine vernünftige Gebrauchsanleitung zu den Einstellungen des Monitors dabei, die kann man sich aber bei Asus runter laden. Das Bild ist brilliant das backlite bleading ist nicht so stark wie meistens erwähnt wird.

Einfach ein super Gerät, habe es erst den 2 Tag in Benutzung und will den Monitor nicht mehr missen. Volle 4 Sterne und 1 Stern extra für das Zubehör und die gute Verpackung ! Wirklich top. Sehr gute Bild Qualität, es muss kein 4K sein. Absolut zu empfehlen.

J’ai acheté un écran asus rog XG279Q avec beaucoup trop de blacklight bleed sur l’écran pour un écran à 650 euro. Je l’ai retournée le jours de son arrivé chez moi je pense en acheter un autre car sur le papier c’est un bon écran dommage de devoir en acheter plusieurs pour en avoir un correct.

I don't know where to start, I figure if you’re going to drop this much on a monitor, you ought to know what could go wrong.

-This review is primarily coming from someone who owned an ASUS PG279Q for 3 years. It had a few minor operational issues that once again no one was wanting to take responsibility for (Microsoft/NVIDIA/ASUS I am looking at you!)
-This monitor literally appeared out of nowhere, being released late Feb/early March 2020, no marketing, nothing.
I saw this listed on amazon by pure chance, and I jumped at the chance to buy the XG279Q as I wanted the true one stop shop king of 1440p Gaming/Media Monitors
But did I not know what I was in for...
-I would say your monitor is probably the second most important item (of course after PSU) in your setup when it comes to experience and enjoyment with a gaming/media PC
-Can you imagine paying THIS MUCH for a product within its class, and receiving a faulty, badly QA'd and poorly functioning product?
-Well if you purchase any 'top line' ASUS monitor that's what you get!
-Looking at existing reviews for this exact model, I must have gotten extremely unlucky, or the people who were pleased must not be aware of the nuances to owning these models.

========================FEATURES========================
Speaking Technically, over the PG279Q, you are getting:
-HDR 400 (this is the minimum standard for certification)
-1ms Response time
-170 Hz Refresh (up from 165Hz overclockable)
-Fancy RGB effects, which are on the BACK of the monitor...where you can't see it...
-Refined OD/ELMB Sync options (which are explained in a review linked at the bottom)

==============PROBLEMS:==================
/DEAD PIXELS\
-My first 2 models had a large dead green pixel which was oddly within the same region both times, just slightly up and left from the middle of the screen, It's EXTREMELY jarring when playing a dark video game or movie. When you see it, your eyes will not pull off it.
-My current 3rd Monitor has a stuck green pixel to the bottom middle and a stuck blue pixel to the -top left
-I have tried a very aggressive 'stuck pixel fix' to help remedy the issue, going as far as to gently cover the screen with a vented fabric pc screen protector to help warm the screen, in my short term testing it fixed not a single pixel on all 3 monitors.
-The most slap in the face part about this is that the ASUS warranty states that an ‘acceptable level’ of dead pixels is 3-5, there should be NONE for an item at this price point! There are cheap mass-produced screens that don’t have this level of poor QA (and yes, I know its not in the same realm of production)

/BACKLIGHT BLEED\
-They have INSANE backlight bleed, on All 3 models the backlight bleed was even beyond an acceptable level, once again, playing a dark section in a game or movie completely pulls you out when it looks like your screen is being possessed by a holy light.
-Additionally, a WARNING! if you of these already own one do not read this, you cannot unsee it!
these monitors seem to have a very weird starry sky effect, mainly to the top right of the screen.
The best way to describe this is if you look close enough (again to the top right) you will notice miniscule pinhole sized green pixels like a starry night sky, thankfully, I don't think these are the same as dead pixels, and you cannot see them unless you are inches from the screen with it being blacked out.

/HDR ISSUES\
-HDR is barely functional, probably the worst part of this monitor: It does however work extremely well when watching some HDR enabled movies, the difference truly is night and day and you will find it hard to go back, it has some smearing issues and ghosting which will be mentioned below.
-It will take EXTREMELY long to tab out of a game when HDR is enabled as the monitor needs to disable the function when going back to the desktop, even if it is enabled in Windows 10
for games HDR barely works, you will notice a vertical light banding effect across the screen when a light source is detected, I tried it on numerous AAA games, and it did not function rightly (MK11/ Shadow of TR/RoTR/Doom Eternal/BF5) parts of the screen will be backlit and stay like that till something changes on screen when it goes dark and is very distracting to look at. The brightness and colour levels are also EXTREMELY messed up!
This is also caused when doing something as simple as moving your cursor on your desktop a faint backlit halo will trail your mouse in addition to random areas of the screen becoming bright then going dark (again, the same inside games and some movies)
-The screen itself has some sort of grainy panel overlay, unlike the PG279Q where the picture is extremely smooth across the panel as well as general PC usage is not as clear.
========================POSITIVE POINTS:==========================
1. This is an exceptional Gaming monitor, in terms of raw gameplay, it will crush the competition, the usual buzzword ‘buttery smooth’ is the best way to describe it, G-Sync works beautifully and 1440p 170Hz 1ms is absolutely a treat. If you spend every waking hour playing video games, then this could still be for you.
2. The monitor does produce a much MUCH better colour scale during gaming, even when not in HDR mode.
In SDR, It is still actually incredible, when you are gaming the colour is truly a wonder to look at, very distinct but not in an oversaturated sort of way, the monitors are calibrated out of the factory, I’m almost on the border to say that this would make the monitor worth buying, it makes that much of a difference in some games, the biggest upgrade from the PG279Q
3. This monitor has the ability where you can accurately scale your brightness setting inside a game, kind of like a TV, on the PG279Q, no matter how low the screen brightness or in game brightness you would still see the on screen brightness guider, this does make a really big difference!
4. The bezel is a lot slimmer with less borders and helps with immersion, similar to the UQ 4K version as well as the rear side design.
5. You have a lot more OSD (on screen display settings) options than the PG279Q, as well as the possibility to update the firmware in the future (I think?)
6.The monitor can come much closer to the stand unlike the PG279Q, which I like to have it very low.
Other than that? The PG279Q is substantially better in every way, why? Because none of the additional features that separate this monitor from it even work!!!! The PG279Q is a plug and play monitor with similar image quality minus the colour depth and much less QA Risk. (Though I returned my first one due to horrid backlight bleed)

===========TL;DR===========
If you own any of the 1440p high refresh rate/G-Sync Premium monitors by ASUS or others such as the Acer XB271HU; there is NO reason to buy this as it offers very little over it,
If you are looking to jump into or from another premium monitor, you are taking huge risk that you will get a bad model.

/CONCLUSION\
-Almost SIX YEARS later after the launch of their 1440p premium line PG278Q TN panel, they cannot address QA issues with their models. If I could take this thing out the box and not have to worry, I would give this a 100/100 review but taking such a risk with an amount like this is truly unacceptable.
-I am permanently shaken when buying an ASUS product, knowing I paid this much, and I still fear what lies in wait every time now… I will no longer be purchasing their motherboards, graphics cards and other peripherals for which I have done the better part of 8 years, always been my go-to.
-I would simply wait a few more years till they release another so called 'penultimate 1440p' monitor or wait till a competitor shows them they can’t ship in this state.
-An Important read if you still want to pull the trigger, a much more technical review by Amazon user BPG shows that the functions this monitor is supposed to excel at, is actually where it is the worst (ELMB SYNC/OD/HDR/GTG performance)

-If you still DESPERATELY want one, if it has no dead pixels then I advise not to chance another RMA, even with bad backlight bleed, because there is a possibility the warmth over time will reduce pressure from the panels on the bezels and reduce if not completely mitigate the backlight bleed. (I will update my review if this is the case).

Ich habe diesen Bildschirm Aufgrund seiner Werte und technischen Spezifikationen gekauft. Kaum ein anderes Gerät enthält soviel verschiedene Funktionen. Im Detail

-> 144 Hz Standard - sehr empfehlenswert, Augen schonend und super Bildqualität
-> 1 MS Reaktionszeit - das Bild war bisher egal wo absolut flüssig
-> Bilddarstellung ist scharf und es sind sehr hohe Bildraten, hier glänzt der Bildschirm
-> IPS Panel - bekannt für sehr gute Farben, allerdings hatte ich davor ein Asus Gaming Monitor mit TN Panel welches meiner Ansicht nach farblich kein sichtbaren Unterschied macht (zudem das IPS Panel bei mir auch gut Wärme abgibt, wenn man auf 2 cm ran geht) - ich würde wohl wieder ein TN Panel nutzen
-> Gaming Hilfen wie einblendbares Fadenkreuz, Scharfschützen Zoom, Timer und FPS Zähler.... ja kann man benutzen, macht man aber eigentlich nicht
-> Shadowboost wirkt mir zu sehr auf die tiefen schwarzen Töne, es wird teilweise gräulich je nach Stärke
-> Sync ist Free (kein Gsync) - funktioniert aber mit meiner TI1080 sehr gut
-> RGB Hintergrund Beleuchtung, ähm ja... leuchtet ca. soweit wie der (ca. 20cm) nach hinten gehende Ständer des Bildschirmes und kommt nur bei absoluter Dunkelheit an meiner direkt dahinter liegenden weißen Wand zur Geltung. Dazu braucht man zusätzlich ein USB Kabel mit Strom und die Aura Software von Asus... schöne Spielerei, leider nicht nicht wirklich sinnvoll (außer man betrachtet den Bildschirm von hinten)
-> Fuß/Ständer des Bildschirmes... aus Metal mit mit sehr kleinen Gummi Füßen, sollte man nicht zu sehr rutschen oder der Holzschreibtisch hat nen schönen Kratzer - zudem sollte dieser sehr groß nach hinten sein, wenn man nicht direkt davor sitzen will
-> LED im Fuss - joa leuchtet Rot das Asus Symbol auf den Tisch (geht auch eigenes Symbol auf einer mitgelieferten leeren Scheibe), leuchtet auch im Standby...
-> HDR gefällt mir die optische Darstellung nicht, verfälscht bei mir die Farben im Spiel (welches HDR unterstütze), aber ggf. habe ich das auch falsch eingestellt (der Nutzen ist aber fraglich wenn man es an und ausschalten muss)
->Beschichtung: Ein IPS Panel ist mit eine Art Hartplastik geschützt, welches bei der Farbe weiß wie eine sehr sehr leichte feine Sandschicht spiegelt -> IPS-GLOW ! (ist je Winkel unterschiedlich, aber mich stört es etwas und man sieht es auch bei diesem Model)
-> Backlight-Bleeding (helle Flecken im Schwarz) tritt bei mir jetzt weniger auf, ich habe aber auch Shadowboost off und Dynamische Lichtverhältnisse wirken sich hier auch aus, sollte man wenn dann auch deaktivieren

Zusammenfassung: Der Bildschirm macht ein schnelles und gestochen scharfes Bild. Viele Funktionen mit denen er wirbt, sind zwar nice aber eigentlich in der Praxis nicht zu gebrauchen (auch wenn der Bildschirm einen kleinen Stick für das Menü hat, ist es einfach zu umständlich etwas ein oder auszuschalten). Für einen 27" und einen Kaufpreis von 700 + Euro sollte man wirklich überlegen ob es einen das Wert ist.

Wichtig sind diese Punkte:
- Freesync oder Gsync sollte enthalten sein wenn es die Grafikkarte unterstützt
- Anstatt ein IPS Panel ggf. auch ein Gamer Monitor mit guten TN Panel
- 1 MS Reaktionszeit und 144 Hz, eure Augen, Kopf und auch das Bild werden es euch danken
- Auflösung sollte wie bei diesem bei 2560 x 1440 sein

Not a bad monitor, but if your coming from a TN monitor like me then its abit of a shock and alot to get used to. The colours are VERY vibrant and make every game pop with colour. Where as the hdr is a hit and miss feature. Eg in some games it works great but in others not so well.

On another note with the ps4 pro it outputs as a 4k monitor at 60htz and on the xbox one x it outputs (with freesync enabled) at 1440p at 120htz and 4k at 60htz. (And both at 1080p)

In a nutshell its a nice monitor which is gsync compatiple with nvidia cards and works well with no noticable ips bleed and a great refresh speed of 1ms and can be mounted on a monitor stand streight out the box.

Bought this on easy pay a few months back but only got to set it up today and low and behold there is a massive multicoloured pixel problem just on bottom and in the middle I had not noticed it at first as I had one dead pixel to the far bottom right, should not expect this kind of pixel issue from as Asus £600 monitor

Ich könnte jetzt lange schwadronieren welche Monitore ich im Leben ausprobiert und benutzt habe. Angefangen bei schwarz-grüner Röhre über 15 und 17 Zoll CRT, viele TN und IPS Panels. Gerade bei den 27" WQHD IPS Panels hatte ich immer Pech mit Farbverläufen, Glow und Bleeding. Zuletzt ein EIZO EV2750 genutzt, der nach knapp 1,5 Jahren defekt war, aber top homogenes Bild ablieferte bei geringem Bleeding. Beruflich nutze ich zudem einen LG Monitor, der farblich tip top ist und kanpp das doppelte als der Asus kostete. Nebenher mache ich viel Foto und Video Zeug, beruflich auch Content für Druck und Web. Vielleicht kalibriere ich den Asus mal wenn ich günstig an ein passendes Gerät komme.

170 Hz, Overdrive Stufe 3, Blau auf 97 gestellt im Anwendermodus. Das Ding ist der Wahnsinn. Dank neuer Panel Generation hat mein Monitor 0,0 Farbverlauf und 0,0 Bleeding. Wirklich 0. Unfassbar. Keine Pixelfehler. Man erkennt links und rechts am Rand einen minimalen Helligkeitsabfall, aber das ist komplett vernachlässigbar.

Farblich ist der Asus minimal zu blau in den Werkseinstellungen, aber lässt sich leicht beheben. HDR taugt nicht so viel, war aber kein Kaufkriterium für mich.

Der Standfuß ist nicht ganz meins, aber erfüllt seinen Zweck. Dafür sind wertige Kabel dabei. Schade, dass die LED nach unten farblich nicht einstellbar ist.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung. Der beste Monitor, den ich in über 30 Jahren hatte. Ich habe die vielen 27" WQHD IPS Monitore der letzten Jahre genau beobachtet, aber größtenteils alles das identische Panel und für über 500 Euro eine Frechheit, was bezüglich Glow und Bleeding an Kunden rausgeht. Da hat sich das Warten gelohnt.

This is legitimately the 3rd monitor I'm sending back for a refund to Amazon. Two of them from ASUS (TUF Gaming VG27BQ and ROG Strix XG279Q) and the Samsung LC27HG70QQUXEN 27" Curved. All of them for bad quality assurance.

About 8 hours into my use of this XG279Q, the monitor literally just crapped out on me. It started flickering, then the backlight went and the whole screen must've dropped about 350 nits. I tried connecting with a HDMI (instead of my default Display Port, more on that later) to no avail. I tried HDR on/off and all I managed was a red hue with HDR on. I just cannot believe that I've owned a PG278Q which itself had numerous problems and has only been steady after RMA #3, and ASUS still has shocking QA.

===========TECHNICAL JARGON===========

There's also this thing called Display Port HotPlug Detection (HPD). It's a feature which is meant for the OS to detect if a display is actually connected or not. In principal this is good feature, but it's heavily flawed.

The Display Port standard achieves HPD by requiring a displaying device to pull the HPD line (pin 19) high. A properly functioning displaying device also leaves the DDC channels (pin 15 & 16) functional, so the EDID data can be pulled from the device. This RoG Strix XG279Q triggers a HPD-disconnect event, so when it's turned off or goes to display-standby (a.k.a. power-saving, often initialized by the OS) either by pulling down the HPD line (most commonly the cause) and/or shutting down the DDC channels. This signals to the OS that the monitor has been disconnected, so the Windows 10 in all it's wisdom reshuffles the whole screen (desktop icons and all).

When the XG279Q wakes up again, the OS detects this as a new device, and prepares itself for said device and shuffles everything around all your icons around again. Furthermore, it takes several seconds before the screen is usable again and sometimes, the OS hangs and the screen stays black. The behaviour of Windows 10 seems like a software issue, though I cannot say fore sure if Microsoft are aware of it. This HPD issue also causes other problems; the OS thinks the monitor is turned off/disconnected when in actual fact it's just in standby mode. This is either a firmware or hardware problem, I'm not sure.

===========TL;DR===========

If you bought this or any other monitor connected via Display Port (especially from ASUS) you will likely have THE HotPlug Detection issue every time your monitor goes into standby. More often than not the screen will be black even when you wake the monitor up. For a workaround, go into the the monitor's OSD and un-check "Adaptive Sync". After this you can also try to go to "System Setup->OSD Setup" and uncheck "DDC/CI".

You shouldn't have to go through these hoops though, but when it works it's a great monitor. I'll see if I'm gonna go for a replacement. If the issue persists I will update this review.

Love this monitor, everything from the ascetic of it and the rgb and led external lighting to the picture and refresh rate. This particular monitor is at the moment, free from fault; no back light bleed and no dead pixels! The picture is very vibrant and bright and probably even better than my other predator 4K monitor! It also has a wonderfully smooth performance, lightning fast with no blurriness that I can discern! The HDR on PC however isn’t up to all that much tbh but i honestly think that’s more to do with windows 10 than the monitor because HDR seems to work lovely on the PS4 pro! The only thing I would like on this monitor that it doesn’t seem to have, is comprehensive picture adjustment! It has many presets that seem to cover a wide gamut of viewing preferences but about the most you get to adjust within these presets is the brightness and contrast and maybe shadow boost and warm with some of them! Still, despite this its still a 5 star monitor! Very Happy customer here!

I don’t know if I just won the QA lottery, but this monitor is (for its intended purpose and price) perfect.

ELMB and refresh rate sync work fine with my 2070 over DisplayPort, and it doesn’t ghost at high frame rates and with no tearing or blur.

Backlight bleed is visible from bottom left corner but really not enough to distract from the game. Only negative might be the complicated menu to switch between config presets, as I bought this to do games and also work at home (as a software engineer).

Oh, in addition to the fact that the stand is absolutely massive, in spacial consumption. The stand legs take up most of the width of the desk... though it is a solid metal construction and definitely durable.

I waited a while before writing this as i wanted to make sure my panel is spot on. It took some setting up to get the setting just right. Don't touch the colours on the monitor when you get it, Asus do a very good job at getting them configured in the factory.
I think i got luck or the QA process has been improved because the black screen test is very much black. No glow around the edges.
The picture quality is amazing, 2k test is really lovely. Such an improvement over my HD TN Panel.

The stand and the lights are very nice to look at. The light at the back isn't very strong even with the brightness turned to max.
I would recommend this screen to anyone looking to upgrade. I was looking at the PG279Q and this monitor and chose this monitor because of the styling and the fact it was a newer model.

Really good monitor. Had a few faulty ones ordered from Amazon before but this was good.

There's one issue when I enter any fullscreen game. The screen goes blank and there's no signal and I have to turn off and turn on the monitor for it to work. I think it has to do with the G-Sync module, using this with an RTX 2070 Super.

Otherwise it's a great purchase.

Placed it on a stand which I've also purchased from Amazon. The original stand was great and had a light but I think this one looks much cleaner.

What can i say about these Asus rog Monitors , well the they are extremely well put together with ips screen, and the brightness is fantastic as well as picture clarity the 170hz and 1ms response time is just what any gamer needs, 1440p as always been the sweet spot for me specially in gaming . i bought 2 of these and i could not be happier if your looking for a gaming monitor you will not be disappointed with one of these

I purchased this monitor to upgrade from my BENQ XL2720Z which I got approximately five years ago.

Since I tend to spend a lot of time watching a new Samsung Q90R TV and then going on a TN Panel I decided to upgrade to an IPS monitor

The difference between 1440p and 1080 is pretty big once you put them next to each other and the IPS panel colours blow the TN out of the water in gaming and general browsing, in terms of response speed / input lag / ghosting i absolutely did not have any issues with the XG279Q which I purchase without the support of any reviews as there weren't any.

HOWEVER - The first panel that I got had a huge "IPS Glow" in the form of a huge dog tag in the middle of the screen so i ordered a replacement, the replacement panel didnt have the dog tag shaped IPS glow but had a dead pixel so currently shipping both back for full refund.

Also I expected this but HDR and ELMB Sync are pretty useless unless you like playing games like an iphone screen at 20% brightness

I will maybe try my luck with a third monitor as I really liked it and if it wasn't faulty it would be great but be prepared for an ordeal where you have to try 3/4/5 different panels.

I have owned many gaming monitors and for me by far this is the best all rounder you can get. This wont be a long review as theres not much to say really, its just like the pg27aq however with freesync support for future consoles and of course gsync.

PRO TIP - My display arrived with horrible bleed in the corner that completely went away after a week of usage and now its perfect with zero bleed. Don't just auto return it as the panel needs time to warmup and the bezels loosen. Of course that will vary but still.

This monitor is brilliant for picture quality and display overall, it comes with an attractive design and really sells itself. The only drawback from my experience with it so far is the sound output is quiet and weak if not used with additional speakers/sound bar & sub.

Die Monitor kommt super verpackt und mit allem Zubehör an.
Zu den Spezifikationen ist ohnehin schon alles gesagt, daher von meiner Seite ein paar andere Punkte:

1. ist 27 Zoll für Gaming nicht zu groß? Ich hatte bisher einen 24 Zoll Bildschirm und dachte mir lange, dass diese Größe für FPS Gaming - also schnell Shooter - ideal sei, zumal man immer den ganzen Schirm überblicken kann... Ich muss sagen, 27 Zoll sind mE eindeutig besser. Der Zugewinn an Raum geht grade noch nicht auf Kosten der Übersichtlichkeit - ganz im Gegenteil, fühlt man sicher doch mehr mitten im Spiel und weniger in der Betrachterrolle!

2. HDR - ja, ja und nochmals ja - alles wirkt wesentlich lebendiger und es braucht auch keine großen Einstellungen. Hängt natürlich auch davon ab, was das jeweilige Game liefert. Bei CoD zB ist der Unterschied erstaunlich und eindrucksvoll. Dunkle Ecken werden ausgeglichen, der Kontrast super abgemischt - das ist wirklich eine Freude fürs Auge! FPS kostet es kaum bis gar nicht.

3. v-sync muss man haben - funktioniert auch gut, kostet aber ein paar FPS.

4. Beleuchtung - nach untern strahlt er den Tisch rot an - naja. Hinten hat der Monitor das Markentypische Auge, welches auch leuchten kann - in einigen einstellbaren Farben. Das ist am Abend ganz nett, wenn hinter dem Monitor eine Wand ist, die das Licht reflektiert. Gottseidank kann man alle Beleuchtungen auch schnell und unkompliziert deaktivieren. Das ganze Menü am Monitor selbst ist sowieso einmal gut gelungen. Die Knöpfe dafür sind an der rechten hinteren Seite des Bildschirms - wenn man einen davon berührt, wird das die Knopfbelegung und damit das Menü eingeblendet.

5. Die Lieferung erfolgt mit allen erforderlichen Kabeln - eigentlich sogar mehr als erforderlich! Sehr vorbildhaft. Die Displayportkabel sind sogar 8k. Kabelmanagement ist auch top. Hinten sind alle Anschlüsse hinter einer separaten Plastikverkleidung untergebracht. Schaut alles extrem edel und aufgeräumt aus.

6. Look and Feel ist premium. Alleine der Ständer/Fuss - er ist aus Metall und nicht aus Plastik! Das er 3 Beine hat ist Geschmacksache - ich finde es OK.

Man zahlt nicht wenig, macht mit diesem Bildschirm aber einen guten Kauf, wenn man ein tolles Setup fürs Gaming haben möchte. Der Monitor ist sehr schnell, kommt mit allen Lichtverhältnissen ausgezeichnet zurecht und ist auch ohne großes know how rasch in Betrieb genommen. Würde ihn wieder kaufen!!

Der monitor ist an sich absolut top, jedoch hat er irdentlich backlight bleeding, zumindest mit hdr aus fällt es ziemlich auf mit hdr an ist es deutlich weniger , auf den fotos sieht es jedoch schlimmer aus als es wirklich ist, jedoch ist es schon merkbar

Dazu kommt dass ich oben eine reihe von blauen leds habe , die fallen jedoch nur in sehr dunkele szenen ein wenig auf aber dann sind sie jedoch auch gut sichtbar

Deswegen sag ich auch gleich der monitor idt ganz ok , wer jedoch viele dunkle horror games oder so spielt solte besser einen andere wählen

Amazing gaming screen

Ich habe nun 1 Jahr überlegt welcher Monitor neben meinem alten asus platt finden darf, meine Entscheidung ist schließlich auf dieses Model gefallen.

(Vorweg... was ist UPS eigentlich für ein Unternehmen, Lieferung erfolgte erst 7 std nach Zeitfenster. Nervig wenn man in der Zeit Geld verdienen kann.)

Zum Paket.
Wie von Asus gewohnt alles sauber verpackt und gut geschützt.
Der Aufbau ist kinderleicht, die Anleitung beinhaltet nur das nötigste.

Nach ersten Tests, wow einfach Hammer wie viel besser das Bild die Verarbeitung etc zu meinem 5 Jahre alten Model ist.
Das Bild in Game wirkt super flüssig, die Farben wirken einfach herrlich und ich finde die 27 Zoll wirken grösser als sie eigentlich sind.

Gsync funktioniert ohne Murren mit meiner 2070 s.

Für mich der beste kauf dieses Jahr x3

Non saprei neanche come descrivere un prodotto impeccabile e superlativo .
Da subito L ho impostato a 170Hz ed al momento sta funzionando con una 2080 Super OC in attesa dell arrivo della sorella superiore . Mai uno sfarfallio anche se il monitor ti avvisa che può succedere quando si imposta L overclock da 144 a 170Hz. Funziona in overclock solo con cavo dp. Cosa importante da sapere se volete usarne più di uno . Giocare su un 2k IPS 1ms a 170Hz con il suo hdr400... potrei dire quasi che non ha prezzo
Il piedistallo L ho smontato , da solo pesa 3KG ed è ingombrante . Quindi è da tenere in considerazione se si hanno problemi sopratutto di spazio anche se rimane molto bello da vedere e permette L installazione sia in orizzontale che verticale oltre che un ampio range di spostamento verticale .
L ho acquistato con opzione “come nuovo “ risparmiano oltre 150€. Il prodotto era nuovo in tutto . La scatola danneggiata ma appena ho inserito il seriale sul sito dell asus me lo ha dato come nuovo ed in garanzia dall inserimento .
Di sicuro è un prodotto che non può mancare agli appassionati sel settore

Chi scrive male di questo monitor per me non capisce proprio nulla.

Scheinbar recht starke Schwankungen bei den Panels bzw. Qualitätskontrolle ausbaufähig.

Nachdem der erste Monitor starkes Backlightbleeding und Pixelfehler hatte, habe ich ihn zurückgeschickt und umgehend einen neuen Erhalten.

Mit diesem Monitor ist alles in Ordnung. Lediglich ganz leichtes Bleeding rechts unten im Eck, was bei IPS aber nunmal normal scheint.. Fällt aber wirklich nur bei Dunkelheit und schwarzem Bild auf. Beeinträchtigt mich nicht.

Insgesamt ist der Monitor spitze, sowohl was Farben, Helligkeit, Geschwindigkeit etc. angeht. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und könnte nicht mehr zurück auf 60Hz wechseln.

4 Sterne, da es leider erst auf den zweiten Versuch geklappt hat.

Ich spiele hauptsächlich COD Warzone und dachte mir statt meinem Asus 4k Monitor mit nur 60hz versuche ich diesen hier.
Die Hz zahl ist echt ein Traum für jeden Gamer und auch weil es nur 1440p sind liefen alle Spiele NOCH flüssiger als vorher und mein System hat richtig spaß gemacht.
Aber als ich dann im Spiel war und auf weite Sicht einfach alles verschwommen war und ich garkeine Gegner mehr scharf sehen konnte habe ich den Monitor direkt wieder eingepackt. Ich bin wohl 4k gaming zu sehr gewohnt und obwohl ich an allen Grafik Einstellunge geschraubt habe konnte ich nichts scharf bekommen.
Bin wirklich sehr traurig darüber aber ich muss wohl leider noch mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen und mir einen 4k mit 120hz Monitor zulegen, dann natürlich leider auch die Grafikkarte updaten. Wird teurer Spaß, aber wofür arbeitet man :)

Ich habe auf diesen Monitor von einem EIZO 23" IPS mit FullHD gewechselt und bin äußerst überrascht von dem Gerät. Es ist natürlich kein Schnapper, aber momentan so ziemlich das beste (und vor allem auch lieferbare) Gerät am Markt mit den Features 27", WQHD-Auflösung, Fast IPS-Panel, 170 Hz.

Eine Panel-Lotterie war bei mir nicht der Fall und gleich das erste Gerät war das "Richtige".

+ keine Pixelfehler
+ hervorragende Ausleuchtung bzw. kaum bzw. minimales Backlight-Bleeding mit wenig IPS-Glow, das ins gräuliche statt gelbliche geht (siehe Bild; da ist sogar das Test-Modell von Prad.de dagegen schlechter gewesen)
+ tadellose Verarbeitungsqualität
+ umfangreiches Zubehör (inkl. HDMI- & Displayport-Kabel (Verwendung des DP für Nvidia G-Sync zwingend erforderlich!))
+ 2x 2W integrierte Lautsprecher (an sich völlig ausreichend, zum Gaming nehme ich dann ein Headset)
+ Standfuß macht was her und man hat auch Ablagefläche daraunter und dieser ist nicht nur ein klobiger Klotz (nutze trotzem stattdessen lieber eine VESA-Schwenkarm-Tischhalterung von Ergotron mit 100x100 Mounting mit den vorgeschriebenen M4x10mm Schrauben des Asus-Standfuß)

Alles in allem eine teure, aber sehr gute Wahl für alle, die endlich weg von FullHD wollen und auch in den Genuss von min. 144 Hz kommen wollen. Ich habe die Anschaffung jedenfalls nicht bereut.

P.S. Das Bild ist von mir so aufgenommen, wie es Prad.de auf deren Webseite auch bezüglich der eigenen Test-Fotos vornimmt, d.h. mit einer DSLR fotografiert (Smartphone-Sensoren verfälschen das wahre Ausmaß des Backlight-Bleeding bzw. lassen keine längeren Belichtungszetien von 5 Sekunden zu) auf 2 Meter Entfernung bei 50% Helligkeit (war hier ab Werk so eingestellt) und verlängerter Belichtungszeit.

Hier in den Rezensionen wurde schon viel zu den Qualitäten des Monitors geschrieben, und dem ist an und für sich nichts hinzuzufügen. Er ist solide verarbeitet, hat ein sehr gutes (wenn auch ab Werk etwas übersättigtes Bild), tolle Funktionen mit bis zu 170Hz Bildfrequenz und ELMB. Das Design ist zumindest von vorne für einen Gaming-Monitor dezent und durch die recht schmalen Bezels vglw. elegant. Das RGB Klimbim kann man zum Glück komplett abschalten. Der Monitorfuß ist überhaupt nicht meins (und recht tief durch den hinteren "Ausleger"), aber bei mir hängt er an einer VESA-Halterung am Schreibtisch.

Mein Gerät kam am 17.11. aus einer Charge von Juni 2020.

Ein paar negative Anmerkungen gibt es aber leider auch:

1) Der Monitor war an sich sorgfältig verpackt, nämlich in einem Umkarton, in dem wiederum der Monitorkarton selbst war. Offenbar aus gutem Grund. Die Verpackung war bei Lieferung von DHL so stark beschädigt, dass selbst im Monitorkarton eine deutlich sichtbare Kitsche war. Zum Glück war der Inhalt ok, aber man kann sich ja vorstellen, was das für eine Erschütterung gewesen sein muss. Offenbar werfen die Logistiker das Zeug sehr lieblos durch die Gegend. Kann Amazon nichts für, außer die Jungs ggf. mal zur Räson rufen. Vielleicht richtet es auch der Wettbewerb wenn Amazon es selbst ausfährt.

2) Das Steuerkreuz auf der Rückseite für das OSD ist gut, allerdings sind die 4 Knöpfe darunter ziemlich klapperig für ein Gerät in dieser Preisregion. Beim Bewegen des Monitors klappern sie allerdings nicht, fühlen sich allerdings echt "flitzpiepig" an wenn man damit arbeitet. Wie aus dem Kaugummiautomaten.

3) Mein Monitor hat zum Glück nur leichten IPS Glow oben links und oben rechts. Sieht man aber nur wenn es komplett dunkel ist im Zimmer. Ansonsten ist das Bild top, bis auf...

4) ...zwei "stuck" pixel. Einer leutet immer rot, einer ist immer dunkel. Den roten (oben links) sieht man leider recht prominent. Bei 144hz wird er interessanterweise deutlich kleiner als bei 60Hz, ist aber trotzdem deutlich zu sehen, wenn man ihn einmal gesehen hat. Bei 100 Hz und 120 Hz ist er ebenfalls deutlich kleiner. Der dunkle Pixel fällt nicht so auf, nur auf rein weiß. Laut Asus sollte das Panel bei diesem Premium-Modell eigentlich 0 Pixel haben (ASUS garantiert das auch, ich könnte also entweder zu Amazon zurückschicken oder die ASUS-Garantie in Anspruch nehmen), aber das Geraffel mit Abbauen, zurückschicken, neu aufbauen etc. war mir zu viel. Amazon hat mir kulanterweise einen Rabatt angeboten, und jetzt behalte ich ihn so wie er ist.

Also insgesamt: guter Monitor, sehr schönes Bild, aber einige Details sind nicht so super und die QS ist für ein Gerät in der Preisregion leider Murks, man lese nur mal die ganzen ähnlich lautenden Rezensionen hier bzgl. der Panel-Defekte.

Der Monitor ist zur Zeit nur für einen horrenden Preis verfügbar, lediglich eine Lieferung aus Spanien ist einigermaßen Preiswert (100€ über UVP). Das Bild des Monitors und seine Verarbeitung ist super, allerdings hat mein Gerät starkes Backlight Bleeding und wird zurück gehen.
Von einem Premium Monitor für diesen Preis hätte ich mir eine bessere Qualitätskontrolle erwartet.

Nachdem ich nun den vierten Austauschmonitor von Asus als onsite exchange bekommen habe, gebe ich mich mit meinem Panel zufrieden. Minimales Bleeding in der oberen linken und unteren linken Ecke ist noch vorhanden, aber vertretbar. Der Monitor ist ansonsten wirklich super und seine 700€ wert.
Ich wünsche euch viel Erfolg bei der Panel-Lotterie, geht davon aus das er mind. 1-2 getauscht werden muss.

Der erste Monitor musste leider aufgrund von mehreren Pixelfehlern, starken Backlight-Bleeding und einer bereits abgebrochenen Halterung an der Kabelabdeckung zurückgeschickt werden.

Der zweite Monitor, den ich hier bewerte, hat keine Pixelfehler und alle Halterungen der Kabelabdeckungen waren diesmal einwandfrei. Leider hat aber auch dieser Monitor Backlight-Bleeding-Probleme. Da diese nicht ganz so ausgeprägt wie beim ersten Monitor sind, habe ich diesen nach Rücksprache und Einigung mit Amazon behalten. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an Amazon für den großartigen Service.

Zu ASUS: Der XG279Q ist eins der teureren 27-Zoll WQHD IPS-Modelle, der unter der Gamer-Marke „ROG Strix“ verkauft wird. Dort erwarte ich eine bessere Qualitätskontrolle bei der Panelauswahl, denn das Backlight-Bleeding ist nun mal bei dunkleren Szenen und bei dunkleren Umgebungen (also den typischen Gaming-Umgebungen) leider am auffälligsten.

Positiv:
+ Zubehör (HDMI-Kabel, Displayport-Kabel, Netzteil, Netzkabel, Anleitung, Standfuß, Kabelabdeckung, USB-Kabel, 2 LED-Projektionsfolien)
+ Ergonomie (Höhenverstellbar, Schwenkfunktion, Pivot-Funktion und neigbar)
+ Auflösung: 2560x1440 (im Vergleich zu HD ein wirklicher Mehrwert und gestochen scharf)
+ IPS-Display (abgesehen vom Backlight-Bleeding): sehr farbenfroh und blickwinkelstabil
+ Aura-Sync-Beleuchtung (das ROG-Logo auf der Rückseite und die Projektion auf dem Tisch sehen schön aus)
+ 2 HDMI-Eingänge und 1 Displayport-Eingang, sowie USB-Hub-Funktion
+ weitere Features (144 Hz – übertaktbar bis zu 170 Hz; 1 MS Reaktionszeit; G-SYNC kompatibel)
+ Gaming-Features (Fadenkreuz, Timer, FPS-Zähler, Scharfschützen-Modus)

Neutral:
o 5 Overdrive-Stufen (Stufe 1 und 2 sind nutzbar, ab Stufe 3 / spätestens ab Stufe 4 gibt es Qualitätseinbußen)

Negativ:
- Die Aura Sync Software (neueste Version) erkennt den Monitor trotz angeschlossenem USB-Kabel eingeschalteter Aura Sync Funktion und PC-Neustart (wie in der Anleitung beschrieben) nicht

Fazit:
Abgesehen vom Backlight-Bleeding, das unterschiedlich stark ausfallen kann, ist es ein toller 27-Zoll WQHD Monitor, der die wichtigsten Features/Eigenschaften unterstützt und durch die RGB-Beleuchtung schön aussieht. Die Problematik mit der Aura Sync Software wird hoffentlich durch ein Software-Update behoben, denn gerade in Kombination mit einem ASUS-Mainboard sollte es eigentlich funktionieren.

So, der Monitor ist seit ca. 5 Wochen in Betrieb und ich kann ihn nur empfehlen!
- Auspacken und Aufbau waren problemlos.
- Installation: Sehr einfach! Äußerst positiv finde ich, dass alle Kabelarten zum Anschluß (DP, HDMI...) beiligen. Man hat so nicht den Ärger mit einem neuen Gerät, für das man sich noch extra Zubehör kaufen muss, bevor es losgehen kann!
- Inbetriebnahme: Ohne Schwierigkeiten wurde der Monitor von Win10 erkannt und es musste nichts mehr unternommen werden.
- Performance: Ich kann einfach keinen Mangel entdecken! Aufgrund von Corona bin ich momentan auch viel im Homeoffice und bei Office-Anwendungen ist die Größe super (zumal mein alter 22 Zöller als Zweitmonitor dient). Bei Gaming ist die Darstellung super und die 144Hz machen sich im Vergleich zu 50 Hz vorher schon bemerkbar. Bild/Pixelfehler konnte ich keinen einzigen finden!!!

Günstig ist der Monitor sicher nicht, aber vieles andere ist einfach billig und man ärgert sich später! Hier die Performance top und es lohnt sich aus meiner Sicht das Geld zu investieren!
