- + Прекрасно работает в шасси Intel Loop LP-2150. Установил 8 Гиг оперативы Hynix (KOREA). Использую только LVDS интерфейс, соответственно проц нужен с обязательно видеоядром. Пробовал включать с процессором Pentium G5420 - все прекрасно. Хочу попробовать Core i3-8100 - должно быть еще лучше. На мой взгляд, чтобы данная плата работала хорошо в данном шасси, надо заменить родной инвертор шасси на более качественный, поддерживающий матрицу (LED panel) M215HW03 V1.0. Я покупал на алиэкспрессе специально под эту матрицу. Надеюсь плата будет выдерживать нагрузку по...

So far, so good
There were no reviews on this, so I felt like I was taking a bit of a risk, but considering the ASUS Z370-A MB was popular in reviews, I went for the Z390 Prime-A. I am glad I did. I am not a gamer, I work with DAWs and rendering video. I loaded it up with the i7-8700k and 16GB of G.Skill RAM, and the first boot (which I expected to be a disaster) ended up working flawlessly. I didn't expect it to have AURA RGB lighting, that was a fun surprise, but so far it is living up to all of its product description without any problems. The only trouble I ran into was installing drivers. For some reason, the included ASUS DVD would not let me install LAN or audio drivers, I had to find those driver directories on the DVD-ROM and install them by clicking "run as administrator."
I went with ASUS because their BIOS gives you complete control over your PC by letting you change anything you want. It has an excellent GUI whether you aren't sure what you are doing, or you are an advanced user. The overclocking software and fan control software are very easy to use, and probably the best (and safest) way to learn how to control your PC hardware.
UPDATE - 1 year later
I recently damaged this motherboard, and had to replace it. I looked through ASUS' other products, and determined, this was still the BEST choice for my needs and ended up replacing it with this exact one. It has tons of USB 3.0 and 3.1 ports, I have had no hassle with any of its features, except for the sound. I use 2 Mackie powered monitors for speakers, and I have a 1/8 stereo --> 2 RCA Y cable going into them. I would continually get buzzing noise interference from the GPU through the speakers. Replacing the GPU made no difference. Replacing the motherboard also makes no difference. If you end up with this problem, here is the fix: Buy a Ground Loop Noise Isolator (for car stereos) for $8 on Amazon. It may be a defect, or it might just be the wiring in my house, but if the ASUS folks are paying attention, you should build these into your systems!
The AI Suite Software turned out to be ridiculously dense - full of options and features to control your case fans and CPU cooler, OC your CPU (and GPU if it's an ASUS make), conserve power when you don't really need all the speed, and it will even call up OC settings when you open specific apps. This should be a much bigger selling point than it appears to be.
Other quirks - The RGB is 12V only! If you end up getting something with a 3 pin connector, or Addressable RGB, I found this amazing adapter if you search: DeepCool RGB Converter ($15) and you can plug other RGB devices in don't work with Aura, and it will let you use them with your RGB headers on this motherboard. The 3 orange fans in the attached photo are "addressable RGB" fans that aren't compatible with Aura, but are now controlled by Aura.
This is probably the best motherboard when it comes to people like me who do a lot of work with DAWs, Video editing, and occassional gaming with one GPU. Apparently if you use the other PCIE port, it only runs at 8x native instead of 16x. This is fine if you're not trying to reap all the performance you can out of 2 video cards.
It is also nice to have an upgrade path for the day I want to beef up my system in the future. I'm already making my plans for a X-series processor when they're "old" and affordable a few years down the road. I am still very satisfied with the unit and plan on using it for years to come.

Not Compatible with 9th gen out-of-the-box
Got this motherboard to support my new i5-9600k processor, got everything hooked up, powered it on, and it wouldn't post. After some research, turns out the geniuses at ASUS fail to mention that they ship it with BIOS version 1.60 which is incompatible with 9th gen intel. So unless you have an 8th gen intel processor handy (which I don't) and you're willing to throw that in first, start up the PC, update the BIOS, take the 8th gen out, then put the 9th gen in, I wouldn't buy this product. After calling their support line, they said either take it to a local electronics shop to fix, or just exchange on Amazon. Gee, thanks for that advice.

Aura sync works awsome. 5.1 ghz on all six cores.
So far so good. New build. Cooler Master H500 ATX Mid, Thermaltake Grand RGB 750w, Cooler Master 200mm rgb top fan, Intel I5 9600k, Samsung 970 Evo 250 GB, Fenvi Dual band 9260 wireless adapter, 16 GB G-Skill RGB 3000mhz DDR4, Cooler Master ml120l. Will update when done tweaking.

Misleading Specs- RGB header not as advertised
Be warned- despite the description listing "addressable headers", this motherboard actually only includes the older, non-addressable 4 pin headers. Worse, products that actually use addressable headers, like their own brand aura RGB lightstrips, are completely incompatible and can't even be plugged in.

Don't work with WIN7
Trying and trying to get it work (NO USB) with my WIN7 drive, but after calling ASUS support I was told that it doesn't work with WIN7 but with WIN10. I purchased and installed WIN10 and everything worked fine. IT WOULD BE NICE TO KNOW THAT IT NEEDS WIN10 TO WORK.

Severely Disappointed in the Quality
At first I was extremely excited about this product, since it was a high end motherboard and came from a reputable company such as Asus. I liked the idea of the RGB and overclocking, a major upgrade from my cheap Gigabyte motherboard. The first time I ordered this, both the outer box and inner box were both damaged, crushed on the corner, most likely during shipping. Since I didn't want a damaged product, I shipped it back almost immediately, and ordered a replacement. Little did I know the second box came damaged in the same spot but only on the inner box, leading me to believe it was not the shipping company that damaged the product. This one I decided to try anyway, since I did not feel like waiting another week for a new one. I put the motherboard into my system and turned it on, only to have it immediately shut off, within about a second. I checked every individual piece of my system, including even the power supply, and narrowed it down to the motherboard. Very disappointing that two motherboards in a row from a great company like Asus could arrive damaged or defective. I will be looking elsewhere for another motherboard that suits my needs, and doesn't come damaged or defective.
Asus is normally a great company, my 1060 3gb graphics card is manufactured by them, and I am very satisfied with the quality of that component. Perhaps it is only this product.

Make sure you update the bios!
Updating the bios, which can be done from within the bios, provides a huge stability boost for DDR4 ram, it's absolutely necessary to those higher speeds. As far as everything else goes, great support from asus, the build isn't bad but depending on your case the audio strip on the left will make installing the GPU a pain in the butt.
I was pretty frustrated with installing it but I got pretty lucky with how little research I did before hand.

Awesome Motherboard!
Everything you could think of to do in the BIOS is available and easy to do. You don't even have to be an overclocking expert to overclock your CPU. I'm using an i7-8086K 8th gen Intel CPU and I just clicked "use the 5G overclock setting" and walla, I'm running at 5GHz on all cores! Supports 9th gen Intel CPU's so I'm set for future upgrades (if Intel comes out with a faster CPU). The only negative is that if you populate PCI-E X16 slot 2 (there are only 3) then your graphics card in PCI-E X16 slot 1 runs at X8 and regardless of that fact, PCI-E X16 slot only 3 runs at only X4. Still an overall GREAT purchase!

Built a PC around new 9th gen Intel cpu, so far this is working great! Bios is easy to navigate with easy over clocking features. Individual fan controls allowed me to isolate a particular fan that was making an unsettling noise. Haven't tried aura sync features yet, but no complaints so far!

Stable board, but needs a few pre-install tweaks
My first impression is that the board is very stable, haven't had any random blue-screens. It all seems to work fine, as long as you're not really a super-power-user. The board does need a few pre-OS install tweaks to really be good, and there's a few things not to do with this board. First, although the board advertises its Optane memory readiness, I found this to be more of a hassle, as when Intel RST is enabled, sometimes drives would drop and be inaccessible, and the optane module never paired with the boot drive. Second, you want to make sure that in the BIOS you disable the Q-Installer, or the board will push unnecessary crapware to your Windows 10 install. Third, the included audio driver is crap, as it suffers from volume dips and spikes, failing to level everything out. You can overcome this, though, by downloading the official drivers off the Realtek site and enabling Loudness Equalization. It is miles better than ASUS's implementation.
I hope this helps prospective buyers. The hardware itself is really good. It's just the software that you need to work around.

Really nice motherboard. Intel i7 9700K 3.6Ghz overclocks to 4.6Ghz. PC is blindingly fast!.
I did a lot of research on motherboards before buying this one. This has the most functions when compared to other MB's at the same price. I've had a lot of good experiences with Asus over the years, arguably the best MB's made. This one didn't cost an arm and a leg and it has lots of features and the automatic overclocking works really well. The i7 9700K 3.6Ghz overclocks to 4.6Ghz. The UEFI bios has a million settings but you don't have to fool with them. To overclock just click on turbozoom (or whatever it's called) and the MB does the rest. Lot's of 3.1 USB receptacles on the back plate and for front panel USB connections as well. Easy to install, comprehensive instructions are included. $180 is a little more than I usually spend but it's quality and the extra features that you're paying for and it will be a few more years before it probably becomes time to upgrade to something else. The motherboard does some really cool lighting up. LEDs change colors just like a Christmas tree. I think that can be turned off, but why would I do that?

Most difficult motherboard ever!
I bought this along with the Fractal Design Define R5 case and the Dark Rock Pro 4. First I had to send back the Dark Rock Pro 4 because the motherboard has the memory so close the cooler wouldn't fit.
Then came the installation of the M.2 memory. The supplied paper manual din't show how to do it. Going on the Asus web site I found directions, although not clear, After about 30 minutes of forcing things, I got it installed.
Then I found out that the shroud over the external I/O sits forward so far, you can't screw the motherboard into the case. Now I'm trying to decide whether to send it back or file down the shroud so I can screw the motherboard in. This motherboard has been a disaster.
I've put a lot of systems together over the last 30 years and no motherboard has ever been so difficult. I usually use Gigabyte and am going back to that.

Intel Optane Does Not Work
The motherboard is good. But its supposed to be optane ready which it is is partly. Also, Asus does not provide instructions with how to configure optane. You have to go to Intel online and guess where to find the user guide to install and configure the BIOS, drivers, and software. The box does not even tell you that when upgrading like I did, optane will not work if you are transferring your hard drive with Win 10 on it. That is because Intel requires that CSM be disabled in the BIOS prior to install Win 10 from scratch. So I have a board that I can't use optane with unless I reinstall windows and days worth of software not to mention a configuration nightmare that took a lot over time to get right. Lastly, you have to remove the optane stick if you are in the same boat as me otherwise it degrades your hard drive performance. And you have to revert all of the BIOS changes you made to get it to work. Intel and its hardware partners like Asus REALLY NEED TO INFORM ITS BUYERS ABOUT THIS REQUIREMENT TO AVOID THIS SITUATION!

Fantastic Motherboard, but....
This motherboard has a bunch of features that you can take advantage of. BUT!!!! Please Please Please make sure you look at the types of connections that are on the motherboard before you buy your other PC parts. For example, my case has a 3 pin RGB connector, but the motherboard only has a 4 pin header. I didn't know this, so now my little RGB strip on my case is useless. It's tiny but it still urks me. So be careful and take the time to READ!

Very nice board. VERY NICE!
Typical ASUS quality....awesome. I replaced a ROG X270 Board with this after it checked out 3 months down the road. ASUS however is a great manufacturer and they ONLY board I've bought in the past 15 years. Duds just happen now and then.
I put a gen 9, 6 cores i5 in this board and run Linux. It's smoking fast! The NON-HYPERTHREADING processor works great. I'm sure that the i7 would be equally fast. I paired everything with water cooling. The machine is a beast! 16gb RAM. LOVE IT!

Not capatable with Gen 9 CPUs, unless you update bios
Not capatable with Gen 9 CPUs (I7-9700k) unless you update the bios by installing a Gen 8 CPU, update the bios then reinstall the Gen 9 CPU. Won't post; red CPU LED. What a huge waste of time (half a day of troubleshooting) and false advertising! Wasn't until I read the negative reviews to find out Gen 9 not supported and this is the is cause of the CPU LED error. Now I have to return and order a different MoBo. More waste of my time.
