- не снимая нельзя почистить от пыли, чистка сопровождается нанесением новой термопасты.
винты выкручиваются полностью - при установке случайно может полностью открутиться крепление (не понятно для чего так как перевернуть его нельзя, прикручивается только в стандартном положении)

- Мелочь - при установке нужно идущими в комплекте шурупами зафиксировать верхнюю часть кулера на нижней "части". Шурупы вкручивются в пластик. "На глаз" создается впечатление хлипкости - если снять/поставить кулер многократно, то скорее всего шурупы...

-Приемлемая цена
-Справляется с 1600/1200 и тд райзенами
-Легко крепиться на ам4
-Правильное расположение ребер радиатора, сквозной продув не хило помогает сбавлять температуры, если в корпусе есть вентиляторы
- -Шумный вентилятор. Действительно шумный, на фоне всей системы выделяется только он.
-Только алюминий. не помешала бы медная испарительная камера, без понятия почему обошлись только алюминькой.
-Возможно буде задевать...

I dont want to kindle any arguments, but the criticism from many of the bad reviews is not the fault of the heatsink. This isn't something that will drop your temperatures if you're previous heatsink was correctly installed. It doesn't advertise itself as a cooling "upgrade" in that sense to begin with.It is at best wishful thinking that any $15 heat sink to properly cool a high-end cpu under a high load (or even normal use which still pushes it enough that you're using all those cores and the high clock speed).What you get for your money is a fan with better build quality+quality thermal paste compared to a sock cooler. You can rest assured that when its installed, it isn't going to get loose or break/wear out its mounting materials.You also get a huge reduction in noise. This thing is flat out silent. When I put it at full speed in bios, even putting my ear on the case over it did nothing more than go up enough decibles to be detectable with the noise of any given component drowning it out.For some of the worst AMD stock coolers, it is a performance upgrade. Thats not why its a steal for under $20 though. It performs phenominally better than your basic heat sink in some areas and isn't inferior in other areas. If you are buying an aftermarket heatsink because you want lower temps and/or increased ability to push a cpu to the limit without getting hot, spend another $15 and get a coolmaster!This is for the people who think the cost of a CPU merits spending a bit more to get a higher quality heat-sink, or judge the price worth it to mitigate the sounds of a tower, or want some peace of mind that they won't need to open their case to solve inadequate placement or less sturdy heat sinks.So for what this product is, 5 stars hands down. It only disapoints if you buy it with unrealistic expectations.

Back in the days when I built my own computers (10ish years ago) I used to buy OEM packaged processors that didn't come with CPU coolers. I had never purchased a retail box CPU so I wasn't sure if it would come with a CPU cooler or not, and I didn't want to take the chance of having all these sweet new parts showing up and not being able to use them. So, I picked this up as a "just in case".Ultimately, I like it for the price. It's got a much larger and quieter fan than the CPU cooler that came with my processor.However, it does seem a little flimsy. There's this system of small plastic pins and rubber bits that join them together that I assume is in place to prevent any sort of rattling or other noise. It seems to operate on the same principle as the rubber/urethane pieces in a car's exhaust hanger system. Hopefully that makes sense.Anyway, one of those little plastic pins was broken off when the item arrived. Again, I wasn't letting anything get between me and my new build, so I went ahead and installed the thing. Seems to be functioning just fine.Last point is that it is very wide. The larger fan is nice from a cooling perspective, but this thing is literally in direct, constant contact with my memory. Luckily it's that goofy-looking memory with the big heatsinks all over, so I'm not worried about the contact issue.It's quiet, it's super fat, a little flimsy, but overall I like it.

I purchased this for an mATX small profile build - the processor was picked up used and didn't come with a fan. I am using it on a 775 build with a stock Q6600 with 8GB of RAM. I do some light gaming and photo/video editing, but nothing too intense!DESIGNI really like the look at feel of this cooler! The white fan is a really smooth touch and the aluminum is nicely anodized. I was glad to see the side sticker was very understated - I have had to remove company stickers before for being too conspicuous! The cooler itself is low profile, making it a good choice for HTPC or small-profile builds.PERFORMANCEWell, I have to be honest when I say that this cooler sits right around the performance of the Intel stock cooler. I noticed about a 2-degree drop in temperature from another stock cooler I borrowed and it may actually be the arctic thermal compound I used (FANTASTIC by the way). That said, I wasn't expecting a huge performer, so this was satisfactory.SOUNDThis cooler is near silent! It is by far the quietest component in my system with a whisper quiet 92mm fan. I was very pleased to see (hear) this, as there is nothing worse than a CPU cooler that sounds like a turbine!OVERALLIf you are just looking to put a smooth-looking solid performed in your case, this is definitely a contender! While not much more efficient than the stock intel cooler, it looks about a hundred times better and is quieter by a long shot! Probably not suitable for overclocking, but at this price point you should already know that! Recommended!

Every now and then I encounter a product that removes any buyer's remorse. This is one such product. I was seeking an inexpensive CPU cooling solution for a secondary computer that was still using the stock AMD cooling fan. Since this system is not our primary use computer I couldn't justify spending a lot of money just to replace the louder stock heat sink and fan. I was not concerned about lowering CPU temperatures, just making the system quieter while not hurting the cooling of the computer. This fan and heat sink work perfectly with that goal in mind - at least on the modest AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ processor on which it was installed. My experience based on this hardware was:- Extremely quiet operation compared to stock AMD heat sink/fan- 2-degree celsuis lower CPU temperature than stock cooling solution- Extremely simple installation on AM2 socket (loosen two screws, attach clips to stock mounting bracket on system board and tighten screws)The larger fan and lower operating speed no doubt are the biggest reasons this cooler is so much quieter than the stock fan - it runs about 1500 rpm slower than the stock CPU fan after the system has been on for over 30 minutes. Regardeless of the reason, it has satisfied my primary goal - quiet cooling at a low cost.Overall this CPU cooler is just an excellent value.

The cooler is certainly better than most OEM heatsinks, but if you're looking to replace something with even a bit of copper at the base then I'd look elsewhere because this would be a sidegrade.It's definitely quiet, and my CPU only has a TDP of around 80w so it does its job well enough, but I wouldn't recommend it for anybody looking to overclock. Also, the retention clip design is truly horrible; you'll find yourself missing the Socket A flathead clip.

I just put this in my Lenovo 7484 for my new Intel Q9650 Quad core CPU. Works great and is quiet. Can't go wrong with the price.I only gave it 4 stars b/c you have to actually remove the mobo from the case to take off the CPU screw bracket, it can always be quieter, and the directions were pretty bare bones.View the videos online if you are not comfortable installing this.Great product.

After installing a nearly silent Corsair HX520W power supply (highly recommend), the AMD OEM fan was unpleasantly loud (previously drowned out by the old PSU). I installed the Arctic Cooling Alpine 64 Pro rev.2 cooler, and "WOW!", what a difference. The CPU fan is now only a faint whisper -- and this is with a case that has a port above the CPU venting the CPU fan directly to the outside. And on top of being nearly silent, the Alpine 64 dropped my CPU temp 10°C to 36°. The only sound I hear now from this very open case is the whir of the hard drives.re: another reviewers comments on durability - I had no problems installing this cooler. As you can see from the pictures, the fan frame is lightly constructed -- but it's certainly more than strong enough to do its job of supporting the fan. Unless you're a moose and mash down on the obviously slender frame, I don't foresee having any problems. The installation directions are mostly pictures, and one point is somewhat vague -- when installing the hold-down clip, loosen *both* the clip screws all the way till the clips come loose, then tight just enough so the clips don't fall off -- this provides slack to slip the clips under the "hooks" on the CPU socket mounting bracket. Once both the clips have engaged their hooks, tighten the screws, alternating a few turns at a time on each screw, until they're fully tightened, so as to equalize pressure on both sides.

This is the third one of these CPU coolers I've bought. Two have been installed on AMD Athlon II x3 3.2GHzprocessors. They are low profile and less noisey that the stock coolers. Lowered operating temps. about 10 deg. c.Core temperature as I type this is 21 deg.

The fan itself seems like a really nice unit. Too bad I can't use it. The information page stated that this fan would work for my Gateway 4300, but it doesn't even come close to fitting to the base. I'm disappointed - and had to put my garbage stock cooling fan back in- but also now stuck with a nice unit that would cost more just to send it back.

I have two of these coolers now. The first one I got because it was cheap and it was fairly low-profile. The second one, I got because it is very quiet. So it's got all those features going for it. But it's also somewhat fragile. You have to be very careful installing it or you'll break the plastic where the fan connects to the heatsink. It happened to me, but fortunately, I was able to install it without the piece that broke. I'd consider buying this cooler again, but I'd definitely shop around and look at some other options before I bought another one.

This is an inexpensive cooler, very valuable and decent. Fantastic cooling performance plus it is not noise at all. It took me only 2 minutes to install it and I am not a professional in this thing, the instruction manual made everything clears how to do it. The push -down plastic pin actually made the whole thing easier to install without all the screwing to do.

I bought this cooler for a computer I was on selling. After installing it on a Phenom II X4 B93, and getting the computer set up, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it was keeping the CPU cool. It worked so well that I just purchased another one for another computer I'm building. It's a pretty good size too... a little bigger than I thought it was going to be. Going to pair it up with a Phenom II X4 965 this time. I might just buy a few to keep on hand. For the price, you really can't go wrong. Also looks kinda cool when it's installed. And thank you Amazon for shipping it to me quick.

The product was arrived previously opened with the box ripped and resealed with clear packing tape. Upon opening, the preapplied thermal compound was smeared all over the bottom of the package and all over the bottom of the unit. I had to go out and buy some alcohol to clean it off and apply some new thermal compound. My time didn't allow me to return this.Other than the negative, it works fine. 20-25c idol with an AMD A6 and it's really quiet.

I have an AMD 8-core FX-8150. This fan couldn't keep the CPU cool during MSI afterburner testing. All cores got up to 75 C before I shut the test down. The fan itself was easy to install.

Using it with AMD FX6300 125W CPU. Installation is a little bit awkward and requires a screwdriver (read the included manual), but it is much quieter than the AMD-supplied cooler. There are even quieter coolers in $50+ range, but this is a great deal for the price.
