I use it mostly as a book and for email. My husband bought a Kindle fire 8.9 after getting the ipad for me. He likes the Kindle because it's more like a computer. The apple has nicer apps tho.

My first I Pad--love it-- has the ATT option so I can use it where there is no Wi Fi such as in the auto-- or ANYWHERE that a cell phone can get a .signal. Has tremendous "HD" type picture quaity-- takes great photos/ will be able to skype on it--- better than a lap top and very portable and light. Still learning ALL the capabilities of this product!

The ipad is amazing and its compatibility with my iphone and the use of icloud is great. I would highly recommend this product.

So happy with the new iPad. Camera is great (i upgraded from iPAd 1st gen), so much faster, facetime, skype, Viber work great. Email is great. Only a few glitches with notification sounds when smart cover is on. Took a while for sounds to alert when cover was on, but now works great. Not sure why this happens, but IVe seen several similar issues, and appears to be a random thing.

I got this for my son and he loves it, and well he should considering the cost. For the price of this thing you can buy a nice laptop or desktop computer, but he's wanted one for a couple of years and he seems very happy with it. It seems to be very useful and fun to play around with but the lack of upgradability is frustrating. Having to pay $80 or $100 for another 16 Gb of storage seems criminal. For this reason I only purchased the 16 Gb version. I wish they would include a usb port and a port for memory cards, then it would be a real winner.

It's the perfect tablet for writing, reading,getting and sending emails and has many apps which are easily purchased or are free at the Apple marketplace

Surprised at my expected response from this product. Sometimes when I swipe on the lower part of the screen the pages do not advance, I have to move slightly higher to get the pages to turn. I expected more i guess.

The IPad still maintains its rank as the best tablet available. I have searched for comparable android tablets, but no one has taken it to the level Apple has. The battery life, countless apps games and things you never knew you needed, including the fabulous retina display make the iPad number one.

Using my iPad is so easy. Most of the time I use it instead of my desktop computer because it is so handy. I can play games, check my e-mail, and surf the net regardless of where I am in my home.

I use this for flying for charts in flight weather, moving map and every thing a pilot would need.The screen handles the sun very well and I have never not been able to see it.

Can store a lot of pics, vids, games, apps on it and go through your home internet (no 4G bill). Lots of places have free WIFI and it remembers them.

I purchased my iPad 3 today after spending countless hours stealing my husbands to use.... He has the 4 though.... Honestly if you do not use Siri save your money and grab the iPad 3 instead.... The retina display is gorgeous and this tablet is a breeze to use! There are no directions but apple products are so user friendly that anyone can quickly pick it up. The iPad itself is a tad heavier than I expected but that's my only complaint. Buy it elsewhere than amazon. I paid 400 for mine.

Great, beautiful, useful, very smart! I have to say that everybody should have a iPad, mainly if it is Retina's display! Very satisfied, I feel very modern since it is very quickly to run and to use to study and work! Great!

We love our new IPad! The graphics are truly amazing. I debated about how many GB we needed in our new IPad. After much debate 32GB was perfect for me know. However, I ultimately decided on the 64 GB knowing that if I invest this kind of money in electronics I am going to keep it at least a couple years. If my GB needs change in the futures I don't want to buy a new IPad. This item is pricey but worth it!
