24G2: Good for gaming, bad for color-accurate productivity
If you're thinking about getting this gaming monitor for photo/video editing or for illustrations, don't get this. The 8-bit color results in noticeable color banding and dithering which will make it difficult to achieve good results in color gradations. Contrast is also mediocre.
There's an issue with viewing angles when you sit in front that causes the sides of the screen to dim considerably, especially if you're within 3 feet. It's worse than a typical VA panel which is very strange for an IPS panel. This can have an effect during gaming when objects appear at the edges of the screen; the lack of contrast can make these objects less noticeable.
Otherwise, if you just need a gaming monitor, the performance is very good. I also like that the stand has a lot of adjustments including rotation to use the monitor vertically.
Also, there is AOC's G-menu software that allows you to adjust the monitor settings instead of having to manually adjust them, which is a PITA, so be sure to download it off of AOC's website.

Buyer Beware!! Warranty will not be honored!!
The monitor was great until it wasn't. We filed a warranty claim on January 31, 2021. Since that time we have made several calls to the company and emailed all of the information that the company as asked for. We sent the PDF of the Amazon receipt, pictures of the monitor, pictures of the model and serial number from the back of the monitor. We are continually met with road blocks. AOC won't respond to our emails and when we call they hang up. I called three times today and was hung up on and then told the system was down. I am also not able to find any kind of protection information on Amazon's site. This was a birthday present for our 11 year old. He did all the research and compared all the monitors for the one that he wanted and now this. He's been so patient waiting on this resolution and now it looks like we'll have to buy him another on but not from this company. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AOC.

VA vs IPS. IPS it is !!! AOC FTW !!
I ended up purchasing both the VA C24G10D (office depot) and the IPS panel 24G2 6 months later. The VA was more affordable at the time (on sale $115) and IPS 179.99 (amazon). Putting them side by side was just night and day. Left is VA and right is IPS. IPS just had more color vibrance where as VA color seems dull. Both able to game on but if you want the most out of it, IPS is the way to go.

A Surprising Visual Experience!
Alright. Not going to sugarcoat. It has taken a bit to adjust to this monitor, visually! It is certainly different! My husband says his gaming performance is much better on this than vs a flat monitor. I am enthralled with applying a landscape picture to the entire screen, and feeling as though I were truly there! I have honestly caught myself trying to reach through the monitor to test the reality. It is that good! You know what they say, once you go curved, you can never go flat again!

Solid 1440p curved Monitor!
Recently received this monitor and so far its pretty amazing. I love the curved aspect as its my first curved monitor and it very subtle and I enjoy it. This monitor reaches 144hz at 1440p on HDMI which is very nice because I was under the impression that it only reaches this through the Display Port but that is not true. It easily reaches 1440p at 144hz on both HDMI and DP. My only small problem with this monitor is the color accuracy. The reds come out very contrasted and it could be that I just need to make more adjustments in the menus, not sure. Also if you're looking for a bright monitor, this ain't it. The brightness doesn't bother me because I prefer playing in a dim room but again this ain't a bright monitor. Also I'm not sure about the response time, but for me seems pretty fast.....
Overall, I really do like this monitor especially at the price!

Backlight bleed flash-lighting
Initially I really like this monitor and wish I cld live with it, but I am returning as it has a really bad blacklight bleed on the top. Even during video low lit in tht area, it’s quite notable like a bright burn in or as if the screen is damaged in tht area. I would have loved this monitor if not for tht. Great picture when fully light and no dark shadowy game or video play. most screens be it a tv/monitor with have sum bleed light, but I’m not settling with this one. Surprisingly out of all the reviews I didn’t read too many about the back light bleed so maybe I just got one of the bad ones. It happens but this one shouldn’t have passed manufacturer inspection. its a gamble on any screen these days. So role yr dice on this one.. is great if u get a “best screen outa the model line” , but be prepared for a return too.

Works perfectly ONCE you install updated drivers
Go to Aocwebsite and download drivers. I bought mine a week ago and it came with pre installed drivers from 2006. So no matter what settings I had or changed in the pc itself, my contrast was through the roof. Once fixed put on HDRgame and boom. Beautiful. Also note, you have to go into PC settings to change to 144hz. Won’t work unless you use DISPLAY PORT. HDMI only supports 100hz. Other than that, there’s a little back light bleed, but not distracting at all. I would recommend to anyone who games. TN to this VA isn’t really a difference.

Fantastic till your cat knocks it over ( + Review )
If you want a great monitor backed by an even better warranty then AOC is for you. 2 weeks after purchasing this monitor my cat knocked it over and boom..... ruined it. Thanks to their fantastic warranty on gaming monitors I called aoc and told them my story and they immediately sent me a new one. You have to follow the guidelines for returns but what company also offers a one time accidental replacement warranty..... none. New monitor is now mounted to the wall. Try knocking it over now 🐈. Great company... fantastic monitor.

Great 34"1440p 144hz Ultrawide monitor.
Got this to replace an LG UltraWide IPS 75hz monitor, and there is no going back to anything below 144hz for me. The unit I received is amazing. No backlight bleed, no ghosting, no smearing. I've been playing FPS games and the action is just so smooth, and fluid. Colors are great. Mine works fine with Gsync.
The stand is nice, and installs without any tools, it doesn't wobble, and you can raise lower and tilt it. Has a nice cable management hole in the center of it. I'm really glad I chose this monitor to go with, it's probably the best investment I've bought for my PC in a long time. The only fault that I can find with this monitor is the lack of joystick to navigate the settings, it is a little tedious the way the button layout is but I will not be using that part much anyway.

Amazing!
This monitor is a king. I play apex, ark, league of legends, overwatch, minecraft, little nightmares, and planet coaster and sea of theives.
Before this monitor I had a 22’ dell screen. When you first go to ultra wide it feel huge and your brain gets a little bit dizzy but after using it for a couple of days it feels much more natural and you enjoy games more.
I bought my monitor for $495 and it was definitely a steal
Please remember to disable amds free lag software as the monitor itself has its own software for that.

It's everything that I wanted in a 21:9 Ultrawide Monitor.
It's 4k, 144hz all at a reasonable price. With Quarantine beginning in March 2020, I was looking to upgrade my home office in order to increase productivity... Okay okay, also for gaming and watching movies, but I swear it, for work productivity mostly.
The AOC 21:9 ultrawide monitor now serves as my primary and it provides enough screen to substitute for a second monitor, though I still keep a second monitor on the side and am thinking about putting another one on top. the colors are great and I don't see any ghosting or light bleed on this monitor.
I will say that this Monitor is far from frameless as I understand it, the bottom of the bezel is wider at the bottom than my other "bezeled" monitor.
Another gripe I have is the display buttons to setup and control the display, they're a little unintuitive but more cumbersome to use... thank goodness I really only have to set up the monitor once in a blue moon.
I purchased this on a really hot deal for $450 and it is one of the better deals for a premium quality ultrawide monitor at the time of writing this. It is rare that this monitor comes to that price, but if you do see it get that low again, I would say that it's a must buy for anyone looking for an ultrawide monitor.

Perfect mate for Series X.
Runs at 1440p 120hz on my Xbox Series X.
Looks phenomenal, no complaints here. Would have been nice if it had a USB port or two but for the price I can’t complain.
Use the settings from RTINGS for best picture results.

Quality control is super iffy, but otherwise fantastic monitor
I got one dead pixel and a bit of dirt stuck under the screen. AOC's quality control could definitely use a little bit of work. Despite that, this is a fantastic monitor. Deepest, richest colours of any monitor I've ever had (noticeably better than other IPS too), and has a very low latency for gaming. OSD is alright -- buttons are a bit hard to use, but it's fairly simple and does the job adequately.
UPDATE: Tried getting a replacement, which was even worse: 3 dead pixels near the center of the screen. Sent the replacement back and I'm keeping the original. I really want to be able to recommend this monitor, but their quality control seriously needs some work.

looses image
Out of the box, the monitor could not keep up with light gaming. The picture quality and refresh rate are fine but when I tried to game, the screen would flash and then partially lose 80% of the image. I just saw a redish-gray color take over the display. I contacted tech support and maybe they can do something about it but i eould just be wary as a customer. It's not bad if you're not using it extensively but as an advertised "gaming" monitor, i don't know about that one.
UPDATE: I contacted their customer support and they never replied so i called and they finally got back to me. They sent a replacement monitor but I assume it's only a refurbished one. THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM IS HAPPENING WITH THE ONE THEY SENT ME. I'm definitely just going to get a refund and buying something else

Perfect
The screen fits well single monitor or dual if you have a large or xl size desk. Picture quality is awesome, at 2k your eyes really can't tell much of a difference to 4k and you're blowing smoke if you think otherwise. color contrast is on point and no dead pixels issues or light leaking. I appreciate the mechanical buttons opposed to touch activation. control settings are intuitive and the aspect ratio is completely compatible with any modern graphics card.
Takes gaming to the level it deserves and provides more work space for video/sound editing and other programs.
10/10 will buy another very soon

Cannot beat price for features!
My old Dell 20" died after 15 years of service and this gave me all the features I needed and wanted for gaming and working at home.
The controls for setting are a bit clunky and it takes a bit to get used to, but for 1080P, 144Hz and IPS under the $200 I paid, it was well worth the investment!
I had to wait a few weeks so I didn't have to pay the ripoff artists doubling the price during Corvid 19 shortages, but using an Amazon price monitoring service allowed me to be quick and get one at a great price before they went out of stock again.

Great monitor, horrible buttons
Very nice monitor for under 200. Picture is crisp and the refresh rate is great.
The ONLY problem with this monitor is the AWFUL button design under the screen. They're very hard to get used to. No idea why any company would create such ridiculous, tedious buttons to press. After you setup your screen settings you don't have to really deal with the buttons so it's not a huge deal, but it's still crazy to me that they approved this button design.
This particular AOC model is very good otherwise. I can't recommend any other AOC monitors because I bought a different model and it was the worst monitor I've ever owned. This one performs exceptionally well, though.

Big and bright
Attached to my Apple Mac Mini, worked out of the box after simple assembly. Came with HDMI cable. Feels well made. The stand feels solid and adjustable. Bright and clear, used mainly for picture editing, bit of video editing and general use. No gaming, so can't comment on that.

Great value monitor
For the price this is a great monitor. Picture quality is perfect for gaming and work. Stand works well for adjusting height and angle. Looks good. Only slight complaint is the buttons are a bit fiddly, but once set up never needed to use them again.

Great for gaming and office usage.
After reading numerous great reviews about this monitor, decided to give it a go. It's great for gaming. I've been playing Cyberpunk in Stadia and using for web browsing. Cannot recommend it enough.

AMAZING!!
10/10 would recommend, the monitor is greate for gaming and watching videos, suler high quality image and hardware quality. Only complaint is that the power cable sometimes disconnects if you youch it, its not a big deal though.
