Parfait pour un PC de salon
Ryzen 5 3400g acheté pour un PC à usage multimédia (hors jeux), avec un écran 4K. Le 3400g suffit (très largement) à animer un écran 4K, y-compris pour les vidéos. Ce processeur est donc parfait pour un PC de salon sans carte graphique.
Le point négatif : même en changeant la pâte thermique d'origine, le ventirad d'usine est insuffisant pour refroidir le 3400g (qui semble par ailleurs chauffer pas mal, en comparaison d'autres Ryzen). Prévoir l'achat d'un vrai ventirad pour avoir un PC silencieux.

Super produit, permet de commencer un pc sans un achat de carte graphique , car étant intégrées au processeur, sur fortnite nickel.
Ce qui laisse le temps d économiser pour l achat d une carte graphique qui permettra de soulager le processeur pour les jeux plus gourmands.

Connu par tous pour ces APU , AMD reste le meilleur dans son domaine , la présentement avec la dernière version de Ryzen a ce jour , on est sur un processeur avec énormément de possibilités , très puissant , carte graphique intégrée (RX Vega 11 ) tous sa tournant avec de la DDR4 , juste parfait

Je n'avais pas assemblé d'ordinateur depuis 11 ans...Celui-ci que je viens de monter est destiné à mon fiston pour débuter en gaming. Avec 16 Go (2X8) en DDR4 (3200Mhz) ça déménage. Je ne rentre pas dans les détails, le rapport puissance/qualité/prix est sans concurrence.

une bonne puissance
processeur acquis pour changer ma configuration vieillissante, c'est un vrai bonheur. Utilisé principalement pour faire de la bureautique, il est aussi très efficace pour lire mes vidéos ou applications multimédia pour le divertissement.
Seul bémol, le ventilateur fournit bien que performant niveaux température n'est pas viable si vous dormez avec le PC allumé la nuit, sinon ce défaut n'en est plus un.

Ce processeur est intéressant du fait qu'il intègre un GPU ( Vega RX 11 ) qui est plutôt pas trop mal pour un GPU dédié, pratique quand on ne veut pas trop investir dans une carte graphique.

Devant changer ma carte mère obsolète (Core duo) j'ai opté pour AMD et le Ryzen 5. Ce modèle disposant d'une carte graphique intégrée coûte 70 € de moins et est au moins équivalent. Très satisfait donc.

Meilleur processeur graphique
Un très bon processeur peu énergivore mais qui permet de jouer en full hd à tous les jeux en baissant quelques paramètres pour les plus gros jeux. Par ailleurs il ne chauffe pas énormément avec son ventirad stock, pas encore atteint les 80°C.

GPU vraiment difficile à faire fonctionner sous Linux ou Windows
J'ai acheté ce produit pour construire un pc bureautique. Malheureusement, j'ai eu de grosses instabilités de la partie GPU intégrée et ce sous Linux et même sous Windows avec les drivers AMD officiels. Je l'ai pourtant installé sur une carte mère Asus Prime B450M-A très répandue, bien notée et mise à jour. J'ai fini par acheter un GPU dédié pour ne plus avoir de problèmes.
Je vous conseille donc d'éviter ce produit et de prendre un combo CPU + GPU dédié.

Disposant de 4 coeurs et 8 thread avec une puce graphique Vega 11 il propose des performances plus que correctes pour un rapport qualité-prix imbattable.
suffisant pour du jeu 1080p en 30 fps, bon sur du traitement vidéo et photo.
je n'ai pas réussi a lui faire dépasser les 55° en pleine utilisable et on est plus proche du 25-30 au repos
mon seul reproche serai sur le ventilateur fourni que je trouve un peu bruyant sans pour autant être gênant

I am very satisfied with this AMD "value" APU, especially since its impossible to obtain graphics cards at MSRP right now.

I was very fortunately able to obtain this 3400G processor recently from amazon at MSRP pricing (sold by amazon, shipped by amazon). I suppose I was very lucky because all the stock in these sold out in about 30 minutes after I got an email notification. Then the site went back to absurd scalper pricing from 3rd parties (avoid those, boycott them).

I am using the 3400G for a "home theater" computer. At the MSRP price, paired with an Asus B450-F Gaming II mainboard that amazon also had at a great sale price, this CPU is working out well. Keep in mind however, that some BIOS CPU tuning is required. As a side note, I am using the Vetroo V5 air cooler. The Vetroo V5 has been holding idle tempts at 30C or so (CPU tuned to constant 4,000mhz clock speed), and rarely hitting 50C when pumping 2160p60 video from the web for smooth streaming playback. I'm not using this computer for gaming or video editing (such as with the Davinci Resolve editor). I am also using 32GBs of 3200mhz ADATA brand DRAM, with DOCP enabled. The AMD Ryzen 3400G's Vega 11 Graphics component reserves 2GB of RAM for dedicated graphics processing. With the CPU tuned to run at a constant 4,000mhz, the KODI home theater software application pumps steady, smooth, frame rate video.

My CPU/BIOS optimization experience: I discovered that, out the box, the Asus bios setup the AMD 3400G to constantly throttle its clock speed down to the 1700mhz range. As the 3400G kept throttling down, smooth HD video playback was impossible. However, once I used the Asus BIOS auto "tweaker" feature, and set the CPU to hold at a constant 4,000mhz CPU clock speed, I have been experiencing snappy "home theater" software performance. I also discovered that it is very necessary to update the Windows OS to the latest network/ethernet device driver and to add some obscure advanced network device driver settings configuration (see various youtube videos about these obscure ethernet driver tuning settings) in order to obtain smooth 1080p60, 1440p60, etc., internet video streaming performance.

Note also that, when connecting to a HDTV via HDMI, that 2160p60 is NOT possible unless the both the HDTV supports HDMI 2.1 for 2160p at 60hz refresh, as well as the MOBO in use. Based on my experience so far, 2160p (so called 4K), isn't that noticeably better beyond well smoothed, crisp, 1080p60 HDTV output anyway.

After the Asus MOBO BIOS tuning, and Windows OS network device driver updating noted above, I have been extremely happy that a $149.00 MSRP AMD CPU has more than enough processing power to provide an excellent home theater computer experience with the KODI home theater software application running my movie and music library (KODI takes a LOT of time to setup though).

The additional price for the AMD Ryzen 3400G over the 3200G is well worth it. However, for building office/business computers to run MSFT office and such, the $99 AMD Ryzen 3200G appears to provide more than enough processing power.

If you can get an AMD Ryzen AMD 3400G directly from amazon at MSRP, it is can excellent value CPU. Given the performance of the AMD 3000G line APUs, if and when the AMD 5000G APUs become available later this year, it seems like they are likely to provide an equally excellent value chip proposition. In years to come the anticipated AMD 6000G APUs, with even more upgraded RDNA2 graphics onboard, will hopefully provide ever more tantalizing value for money.

Be careful by used. Even off of Amazon.
No need to go over this CPU's specs. The shipping by the seller was quick and the CPU was packaged securely. My one MAJOR gripe is that it arrived with a bent pin! It was easy enough to realign the pin, but the fact that it made it past inspection by the seller is a little aggravating. So much so that I couldn't tell if the mobo I picked up to use with this CPU had issues or if it was this chip glitching upon first boot. It made it difficult to troubleshoot. I still gave 5-stars because the value couldn't be beaten at the time I purchased it.

Solid APU
Paired this CPU with an Asrock B550 motherboard. I didn't know it at the time of purchase, but AMD says that the Picasso (12nm) APUs are not supported on the B550 chipset. I seem to have proven them wrong as the combo worked great right out of the box. So evidently the motherboard manufacturers enabled support for these CPUs into their boards.
CPU is plenty fast for the application (a nephew's gaming computer), but I fully expect the need to upgrade to a discreet GPU at some point as he transitions from low-resource games into more modern titles, or if he were to upgrade to a much larger screen. Probably won't happen for 2-3 years; for the time being it plays Fortnite and all the other games he has at 1080P just fine.
Single core performance matches that of my own system, a Ryzen 2700 overclocked to 4.0ghz on all cores. So that's pretty decent IMO. If you don't need the multi-threading prowess of a 6 or 8 core CPU, this is about as good as they come for the price.
I briefly tried to overclock it just for grins and discovered quickly that it would take more time than I was prepared to spend. I enabled PBO (precision boost overdrive) and got an extra 200mhz to the boost clocks pretty effortlessly, but oddly my benchmark scores went down, and heat soared to 85C using the stock cooler. I likely could have made it work had I used manual voltage, but I lost interest as the CPU is plenty fast at its stock speeds.
Without changing anything, under a Prime95 load the CPU would boost to about 4.1ghz single core, and 4.0ghz all-cores. If you added anything GPU intensive, the clocks went down drastically, often lower than the minimum 3.7ghz, and even the GPU clock would reduce lower than the stock 1400mhz. I suspect this is to keep it under the 65W thermal limit.
So if I had to list a "con" of this CPU, it's that simultaneous GPU and CPU loading will result in lower clocks than what is advertised. But this combo of Prime95 CPU loading and 100% GPU loads will rarely or never occur in real life. Even a modern game title will never use 4 cores at 100% simultaneously. So this con could very well be a moot point.
I could never get my RAM sticks to achieve anything greater than DDR4-3066 despite having Corsair 3200 modules. I tried installing a set of G.Skill DDR4-3600 and could get it up to DDR4-3400. Worth noting is that my Ryzen 2700 couldn't go past DDR4-3400 with the G.Skill modules either. So getting high RAM speeds is still going to be a challenge, just as it was with all the other Zen+ based processors.
The iGPU in this chip needs all the RAM speed it can get, so be sure to choose the fastest RAM speed you can get for your budget. Just realize that this chip might not do rated speeds of the modules--> for example you might only get 3066 out of a 3200 stick. Or 3400 out of a 3600 stick. The integrated memory controller on the Zen+ is just hard on memory, no way around that.
In the end I have a rock solid system that works great for its purpose. Awesome value in this CPU, would definitely buy it again.

I enabled PBO (precision boost overdrive) and got an extra 200mhz to the boost clocks pretty effortlessly, but oddly my benchmark scores went down, and heat soared to 85C using the stock cooler. I likely could have made it work had I used manual voltage, but I lost interest as the CPU is plenty fast at its stock speeds.
Without changing anything, under a Prime95 load the CPU would boost to about 4.1ghz single core, and 4.0ghz all-cores. If you added anything GPU intensive, the clocks went down drastically, often lower than the minimum 3.7ghz, and even the GPU clock would reduce lower than the stock 1400mhz. I suspect this is to keep it under the 65W thermal limit.
So if I had to list a "con" of this CPU, it's that simultaneous GPU and CPU loading will result in lower clocks than what is advertised. But this combo of Prime95 CPU loading and 100% GPU loads will rarely or never occur in real life. Even a modern game title will never use 4 cores at 100% simultaneously. So this con could very well be a moot point.
I could never get my RAM sticks to achieve anything greater than DDR4-3066 despite having Corsair 3200 modules. I tried installing a set of G.Skill DDR4-3600 and could get it up to DDR4-3400. Worth noting is that my Ryzen 2700 couldn't go past DDR4-3400 with the G.Skill modules either. So getting high RAM speeds is still going to be a challenge, just as it was with all the other Zen+ based processors.
The iGPU in this chip needs all the RAM speed it can get, so be sure to choose the fastest RAM speed you can get for your budget. Just realize that this chip might not do rated speeds of the modules--> for example you might only get 3066 out of a 3200 stick. Or 3400 out of a 3600 stick. The integrated memory controller on the Zen+ is just hard on memory, no way around that.
In the end I have a rock solid system that works great for its purpose. Awesome value in this CPU, would definitely buy it again.

長期の安定性はかなり良いと思うが、処理速度が遅めで最近買い替えとなりました。

Salve. Il ryzen 5 3400g è un ottimo processore con 4 core e 8 tread. In questo caso, il processore contiene anche una scheda video integrata, la vega 11 da 2gb Ram. Quindi per chi non voglia spendere altri soldi per la gpu dedicata, quella integrata va già benissimo. Io personalmente lo uso per studiare, ma anche per giocare ad alcuni giochi, tipo fortnite, gta, valorant e minecraft. Io l'ho pagato all'incirca 145 euro e sono rimasto veramente soddisfatto.
Io l'ho accompagnato con una gigabyte b450 ds3h, 2x8 RAM 3200MHZ DDR4 BALLISTIX, 240gb ssd kingston, 1tb hdd seagate, come psu ho scelto l'elite v3 da 600 watt della cooler master e come case ho scelto lo sharkoon v1000 window (che è una case con un ottimo airflow).
Ho fatto io personalmente dei benchmark che ve li lascio qui sotto

Absolute best chip for the cash. ULTIMATE CASUAL CHIP

Watches 4k and 8k 60 fps.

Handles 4K gaming
Quiet with included fan.
OCble, but ONLY old heads do that. Personally OC'ing days are done. Seriously geezers do that. LOL

I can't think of any.
This CPU is for people that aren't invested in 4k or give a damn. This chip is for people who are privy to the 4k videos you can watch on a 1080p screen and be just as happy. If you like eeking everything out of bleeding edge tech, buy the 3600. However, if you are a person who's vocabulary on a day to day basis is contentment, this is that chip. Everytime I use my computer I think, what more could I want.

Games are it's main slow down, but that's because I use old HDD from 8 years ago and they still load ok. Injustice 2 and games like it, really require SSD and their is nothing much any processor could do for load times. I maxed out my computer to match the top specs of my 1080 60 hz tv. It's 7 years old, so a dollar more into more power would be a severe waste. Even when I get a 4K like I eventually will or skip to 8K, my computer will still not need an upgrade. I think those days are truly dead, but the ever ending upgrade trap belongs to the technologically less endowed. I am content. This rocks every thing I throw at it, and I am really keen on maximizing optimal performance from each component. I challenge anyone to do more at a better price. Only thing I would change is going pure SSD, but eff that noise. I'm good and this is a great bang for your buck center piece.

Stark im Business und beim Surfen ein preiswerter Einstieg ins Gaming
Der AMD Ryzen mit Radeon RX Vega 11 ist auf Jahre hinweg ausreichend für Business und Surfen. Und das zu einen guten Preis. Ich habe ihn auf einen msi B550-A PRO AMD AM4 DDR4 M.2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 HDMI ATX Motherboard einwandfrei sofort zum Laufen gebracht. Dazu verwende ich ein HyperX FURY Black HX432C16FB3K2/16 Arbeitsspeicher 16 GB Kit*(2x8GB). Schnell genug für die Grafikeinheit und für die CPU Betriebssystem Windows 10 und Anwendungen bleibt genug freie Speicher. Das ganze für aktuell 500 € mit be quiet! Pure Base 500 Midi Tower und Seasonic S12III 500 Netzteil. Läuft mehr als stabil ohne Abstürze problemlos. Und dazu noch sehr leise und cool ohne durch Geräusche abzulenken.
Mir ging es um einen guten Kompromiss aus Leistung und Verlässlichkeit für die nächsten Jahre. Dazu sollte alles aus Top-Komponenten bestehen und genug Leistung für Online Spiele wie ESO oder Simulationen wie SIMs 4 über No Mans Sky haben. Alles auf höchsten Einstellungen. Und das funktioniert auch bei Spielen, die etwas älter sind super. Natürlich auch mit Skyrim einschließlich Mods, wenn ich es nicht übertreibe.
Bei YouTube kann man sich die Performance der CPU in Spielen anschauen, um sich selbst zu überzeugen. Lediglich Name der CPU eingeben. Es gibt auch Performanz Vergleichsvideos zum Intel Core i5 9400F in Spielen.
Für den Aufbau eines Ryzen Plattform, die Ausbau fähig ist und über Jahre noch genutzt werden kann ist die CPU bestens geeignet. Und kann jederzeit bei Bedarf durch eine andere aktuelle Ryzen CPU ersetzt werden. Oder eine bessere stärkere Grafikkarte erweitert werden.
Die A4 Plattform wurde von AMD jetzt noch mal mit einer neuen Ryzen CPU Reihe mit sehr starken CPU's bis 12 Kernen erweitert. Und durch das Mainboard hat man schon PCI 4.0 um zukünftige neue Grafikkarten nutzen zu können. Die erste Generation von AMD erscheint dazu noch dieses Jahr, nächstes Jahr wird es Einsteiger Grafikkarten geben. Ich kann also das Mainboard und den RAM noch mit aktuellen CPU's und Grafikkarten erweitern.

Excellent CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
This was an upgrade from the old AM3 platform with the Fx-8350. What a difference! Faster, quieter and more powerful. And you have mid level GPU included! Not to mention jump from standard SSD (500Mbps) to Nvme SSD (1000 to 7000 Mbps) that comes with the upgrade path.
