I bought this to backup some older drives ( to safeguard data in case of failure). Overall very happy with the performance re speed and ease of use.
This is economical, very small, plug & play and not noisy. It works!
Withheld stars because I’m aware that you can get more data storage for less money- I bought this because some of those larger drives also attracted more negative user reviews.
In summary this is good but you might want to spend extra cash for more memory??

My ageing HDD was making some worrying noises so I decided to modernise and look into purchasing an external SSD. I had recently installed an internal SSD and saw the transformation this tech did to my PC so I read the usual plethora of online reviews including some from tech websites that gave very positive reviews of the Adata SD600Q.
I was aware that this wasn't the fastest or best SSD out there but for the price it was great value for money and the fact that I only have USB 2.0 mean't I wouldn't gain from the increased USB 3.0 speed anyway.
Inside the very small package was the SSD which is very petite, the cable which has a specific shaped connection to the drive itself which I haven't seen before and a quick start guide. I plugged it in and Windows 10 immediately opened the drive and off I went. One word of warning the cable is very short.
So if you are looking for a small, easy to use and value for money SSD then go buy this.

I bought the drive to use on a Xbox to run games off. The speed increase was dramatic and well worth such a small outlay. It can easily hold 2-4 games that I play the most while I have a bigger standard external drive to hold my less played games. Build quality seems nice and rigid too.

Ero indeciso tra 3 e 4 stelle.
Il disco va abbastanza veloce, raggiunge tranquillamente i 3-400 mega sia in lettura che in scrittura, molto comodo quando si usano spesso computer non propri per lavorare, è come lavorare sul disco interno.
Però presenta alcuni difetti:
1 - NON è bootabile, quindi non ci potete installare una live linux, che sarebbe davvero una killer feature. Probabilmente il disco in realtà è una chiavetta pompata e non reggerebbe a lungo con quell'utilizzo. In quel caso conviene comprare un normale ssd e una scatoletta con attacco usb.
2 - quando si scalda le prestazioni degradano molto. ci si trova a scrivere a 10-15 mega al secondo. Il problema si manifesta copiando grossi moli di dati, 30-40 gb di fila. Quindi nell'uso quotidiano non è così impattante.
Per il resto è leggero e comodo da portare in giro.

The product was as per expectation except for its built quality. The plastic casing feels very cheap. The drive performance and speed was acceptable with the typical cheap SSD issue where if you copy too many files at once the speed starts to deteriorate after a while. If you are going to use it for copying few files at a time (large or small) then you will get the best possible speed. This drive is not meant for stuff like backups but good for storing media files and other random data.

It's light weight all right, a bit disappointed with the speed got upto 75MBps, quality is good so overall all win. Recommended for this price range.

es muy rápido, lo único que no me gusta es que el acabado rugged pensé que era parte del plástico solido que compone el case de la memoria pero es una cubierta de plástico suave que en algún momento con el paso del tiempo y el uso siento que se puede despegar

Es un buen producto el cual deberás tratar con cuidado, no es de uso rudo y eso lo sabes en cuanto lo sacas del empaque, no pesa nada y es pequeño por lo que no es tan complicado encontrarle acomodo, aunque eso sí , el cable también es demasiado corto.
