Blazing fast Nvme for less money!

Very fast indeed. Within a hair of the top Samsung drives.

Industry leading power efficiency.

Silicon Motion SM2262EN Controller.

Less cost.

Plan on swapping out my other Nvme for more of these!

Worked well as a Macbook Air 2017 upgrade from 512gb disk

Used with SupaGeek M.2 NGFF NVMe SSD Adapter Card. Easy to fit but recommend you watch one of the available You Tube videos on installation beforehand and don't forget the heat resistant Kapton tape.

Amazing

Super fast SSD, faster than evo 970. The toolbox software is a little pants but it is amazing how fast this drive is, and cheap. Reassured by the warranty length though.

It works well, but it seems slower than expected

This drive works well so far, but according to CrystalDiskMark it seems slower than the 3,500MB/s read and 3,000 MB/s write speeds advertised by the manufacturer, for which I deduct one star (I've also got another, PCI E 4.0, SSD in the system which tests as expected, so I'll allow myself to rule out other components, although not very scientifically so).

The internet has a few articles on ADATA swapping out the controllers in the SX8200 Pro with apparently a slower model - and this could explain my speeds, but I haven't figured out how to identify which is which, so take this part with a grain of salt.

CrystalDiskMark x64 results with the NVMe settings:

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT (or) TYPO ERROR by Amazon ... I am CONFUSED!!!!!

When I reviewed this SSD on Amazon, the description stated that the READ Speed was 3500 MB and the WRITE Speed was UPTO 3000 MB. However when I received this product on the back of the box it displays the READ/WRITE SPEED DIFFERENTLY.
The READ SPEED is what it has on the review (3500 MB) but, the WRITE SPEED shown on the package (box) is ONLY UP TO 2300 MB. WHY the discrepancy ? This is either (A) FALSE ADVERTISEMENT {OR} (B) a TYPO ERROR on the Amazon webpage

Blisteringly fast

I'm normally a brand geek, so would have tried samsung drives until I saw and researched this. Well, it's great, very happy with my purchase, startup is rapid, installations are rapid, pretty much everything is superfast, not pushed everything as yet, but for now, no complaints.

Great value and performance, even more when the price dips or there is an offer.

Super easy to install in my MSI X570 Unify, even for someone like myself who hasn't built a computer since the Athlon socket 939 days! Incredibly speedy, and will one day become a ridiculously fast game library when I get a PCI 4.0 nvme drive.

Works well

It arrived nicely packaged, with optional cover (mine was not required as mother board had one). Just plugged in and secured it. Turned PC on and all was in place.
Using it as system drive, great storage capacity and speed.
Price will always be a question as it can change as the wind blows, but I am satisfied with mine.

Best M2 on the market at this price

This M2 is writing with 2.8 gb/s and is reading with the same speed, much better than the SSD. My gaming computer had a Kingston with 500mb/s speed and since i've installed this M2 , fps are at 300. Love it, good value for the money

this product is easy to fit is plug and play and easily setup for use on the desktop pc knowledge allowing if not google it

The Holy trifecta! Fast, cheap and excellent.

Don't often leave reviews, but the performance in day to day usage of my PC has been excellent since install.

Granted isn't the most in depth test, but I installed Lego city undercover last night, and has cut the load time down to circa 12 seconds, as opposed to the 42 seconds it usually takes to get in game.

My only regret, is going for the 512GB instead of the 1TB.

Simple fit.

Basic OS and programmes on self build computer. Easy to install and Window 10 eventually updates after several failed attempts, a Windows problem. Most of the data will be on another disc.

I did a fair bit of checking before I decided to get a 512Gb one of these to upgrade my older 256GB Samsung SM961. I have to admit this unit is really quick and performs well. I only have it for Win10 but boot times are still as pewr the SM961...

Adata have cut corners and performance - don't trust older reviews.

Let me just quote another reviewer - I suggest you look for the article. I am upset that I have an inferior drives that I bought on the back of Amaon reviews that were for a previous revision.

"Be wary when ordering this SSD. Adata have changed the controllers on this to an inferior one, offering reduced performance. Hardware sites originally reviewed the SM2262ENG controller, which has been replaced by the SM2262G controller. You can check this only once you've received the item, because the difference is not advertised."

It works very well.

Used as a game drive.
I have noticed that games run a bit smoother.
Came with a flat metal heat sink, never used it as it only cools one side of the drive, so used an after market cooler.
Happy with purchase and the 5 year warranty.

An excellent choice for an NVME SSD

* Do note, they have changed the controller on this SSD, although you will still be able to reach the advertised speeds, so no need to worry, just bare that in mind*

I purchased this NVME SSD to install into an i5-4670k based computer. Unfortunately the motherboard had no suitable M.2 slot so I had to purchase an adapter (see Sabrent or similar if required)

Overall the speeds of this drive have been fantastic and i've been very happy with this purchase. I've attached a CrystalDiskMark benchmark of the drive.

Do note, this machine is 6.5 years old at this point and so, I have tested and can confirm faster speeds on newer machines.

Great SSD, used it in my Lenovo Legion Y530, it takes 12 seconds to boot Win10, only downsize is that it decreases battery life , but that was expected.

Very Fast at boot up.

The actual drive seems fine. I honestly can't see much difference in boot speed compared to my old Crucial SATA SSD, but it does boot more reliably.

Look on you motherboard of your computer if you have the M2 slot fill it with this and be amazed.
So quick Pc up and running in a minute.

Best budget option

Easy to install and as advertised (be aware this does not come with a mounting screw- those should come with your motherboard). One of the cheapest nvme SSDs on the market, but super fast. Would recommend.

Great speed, however, should come with a screw

Excellent SSD, expected nothing more nothing less, however, my motherboard screws were slightly too short for it therefore I had to use a little force to screw this SSD in.

I believe this should come with a 2280 screw, that's why I am giving 4 stars.

Awesome price to performance

just quick review of what i've seen so far and its pretty amazing. for the price to performance, im getting the rated specs as they showed. no issues and just works flawless. has really suprised me tbh :) , would defently recommend.
the adapter i used with this is StarTech.com x4 PCI Express to M.2 PCIe SSD Adapter.

Its fast and cost effective

Got this to run as a backup for my primary Samsung 970 M2 and to be honest the speed difference is minimal and for pretty much all uses not even noticeable however it is significantly more cost effective. I'd buy it again.

Top performance at an incredible value for money

I bought this NVME SSD 6 weeks ago to replace my ageing sata SSD. It was available for a discounted price (£55), so it was a nobrainer! The SSD lived up to its promises, delivering very high speeds and improving significantly the overall performance of my system. And that is compared to a decent performing SATA SSD (Crucial MX500). Very happy with this purchase!

Money very well spent

This has breathed new life into my desktop, boot time down to a third of what it was. PC now responsive, almost like a clean install. My motherboard is 4 years old so running on my m. 2 pcie2x2 slot, nowhere near available speed but still a massive improvement. Money well spent, very happy with my purchase.

Be wary when ordering this SSD. Adata have changed the controllers on this to an inferior one, offering reduced performance. Hardware sites originally reviewed the SM2262ENG controller, which has been replaced by the SM2262G controller. You can check this only once you've received the item, because the difference is not advertised.

Toms Hardware has a recent article explaning this.

I've returned my drives because of this lack of transparency.

Great performance for the price.

I had an 2.5" SSD installed on my PC and didn't expect to see a real improvement in performance but I was wrong. From cold boot power on right through BIOS training and in to Windows it takes less than 20 seconds.

Great drive.

Plug and play

Installed on my new motherboard and worked straight away. I formatted it in windows (type format in start bar) and have now installed windows on it as my main system drive. Just make sure you have a screw and mount for your motherboard handy.

Abysmal software and support

Having bought this drive in the week, I decided I was going to put aside some time on a Saturday to install this SSD as my main drive and clone my existing SSD onto it. One of the reasons I purchased this product is because it came with a free Acronis license. However, after installing the hardware and navigating the shoddy support website to register the product and obtain an Acronis license I got this message:

"Acronis key redemption has been temporarily suspended until May 11, 2020. Please contact our service center for more information."

At that point that was 9 days in the future! So I email the service center and get no response - no automated response or anything to say when I can expect a reply. I'm not even sure if my support request will get seen or handled.

Sorry Adata, get your act together! This is not acceptable. If you sell a product with included software licenses then you have to provide that license immediately on demand, not several days or weeks in the future. Whatever internal IT problems you're having, get them sorted ASAP because it is impacting customers.

I'm sure this is good hardware but so far I have no idea because I can't get it fully installed.
