Great sound
Great sound quality on my Klipsch Heresy speakers. There might be cleaner receivers, but my ears cannot tell the difference. I find I enjoy the blue tooth capabilities more than I expected. Also, the radio reception is better than my last receiver which surprised me.
If you want to listen to great music over good speakers, this is you ticket. It is not set up to do great things for movies on your TV, but I prefer the movie theater anyway.

Amazing sound and it plays everything!
I think a lot of the networking problems people had must have been specific to their device or something. Setup was straightforward and painless. Connected to my network instantly, and got the latest firmware installed in a few minutes. Bluetooth streaming works great, Spotify is great, phono sounds good, and the MusicCast app has zero issues for me and essentially replaces the remote for this. Pure Direct definitely produces the best sound, but I like that I can adjust the bass too if I need to keep things a little quieter.
The only complaint I had was with Amazon's packaging as this came as a box inside a much larger box without any padding inside, letting things slide around freely. Everything works and no visual damage, so no harm no foul I guess.

I was hoping this was the answer to my needs of being able to multi-task - playing vinyl, spotify and sirius xm accounts. Unfortunately the built quality was bad. In addition sound was extremely poor - no dynamics or power despite which sources it was feed. I ended up sending it back. I decided to seek out an old vintage Marantz receiver at a similar price point - the sound is exception - warm and dynamic. I ended up using a chromecast audio stick for streaming spotify/ sirius xm.

I've been extremely happy with my Yamaha RX-V673, and This new stereo amp is a wonder in my music room.
I have it hooked up to a pair of Klipsch F-10 Synergy floorstanding speakers, a Uturn Orbit record player, and a Chromecast Audio through Optical.
The overall fidelity, clarity and bass definition is superb. Controls are simple yet powerful, and the MusicCast network features are a dream.
The unit dependably connects to and plays content from my Plex server through DLNA, allowing native playback of FLAC lossless audio.
The MusicCast app and features are so profoundly superb that I am planning to replace my RX-V673 with a newer 683 to get the MusicCast features across the house.
My only complaints are:
1: I wish you could skip inputs. Instead of having a choice of just the inputs I use, I have to scroll through all of them and there are too many.
2: I wish I could rename inputs on the device. I can rename them in the MusicCast control app which is nice, but Id love to name OPTICAL1 ChromeCast, Server - Plex, Phono to UTurn, etc
Minor issues and hopefully coming through a firmware update, but if not I won't be too upset

Two things I would like to point out...
1. Lack of bass & treble control on remote. Every time you need to walk over to the unit and change settings when your listening preference changes.
2. No hdmi in port. Unable to connect my dvd unit which has only hdmi output. This Yamaha unit accepts only analogue input which is now old school.
Rest build, finish & performance is excellent.

It is a decent receiver, seems to be well built and I like Yamaha's old school styling. I was not impressed with the sound however but sound that audio equipment produces is very subjective to the individual listener and this receiver is just not what I was looking for.

The RN602’s near-perfect audio quality became apparent when connected to Focal Chorus mini-tower speakers and a Yamaha 5xCD changer. The RN602 also connected instantly and flawlessly to the wi-fi network containing a big mp3 library and a subscription-based music stream. Yamaha’s unique MusicCast app running on a wi-fi tablet controls the receiver’s inputs and volume, and true FLAC playback is possible using flash drives and the USB input on the front panel. It’s fun zipping through the audio library, and the only limitation to fidelity seems to be the quality of the original recording. 4 paws up !

Great Stereo Receiver! Don't let the power button function detour you! Yes you have to manually function it to turn the unit off but the stand by function works great and really makes no substantial difference in the product and definitely not the performance!!!
I am running a pair of polk monitor 65's and a psw505 subwoofer in a small living room (approx 15'x15') and all I can say is wow, it is a night and day from my previous receiver, for sound and power. I was a bit worried it would be lacking power due to my listening preferences at high levels and would not drive the medium sized towers without breaking up or loosing clarity but those worries faded away within an hour of listening upon arrival. It is true that a quality Yamaha amp provides a better sound and I now speak from experience.
As for the other functions this receiver provides I have 0 complaints up to this point. The network abilities were high on my list and lead me to spend a large amount of time researching and comparing products and options. I was not interested in any A/V solutions being this is strictly a hi-fi set up meaning two channel stereo music from multiple sources and the occasional TV and Movie (let me correct that, youtube and Netflix haha). There is a million routes one can take to arrive at the same options and functions this receiver provides but none I found did it quite as well as Yamaha has for a budget price and packaged it quite like this unit. It is unique in that sense but provides great quality and sound, connectivity to pretty much everything one could want, and looks right sharp doing it!!! So far all of the media I use on the receiver has been wireless by either streaming music from bluetooth, my laptap (which is flawless), sirius and spotify (works great), and the net radio that is built in (which is more convenient then I anticipated!). Haven't used the phono input as of yet, still researching and looking for the right turn table to suit my budget and needs, and haven't used the digital inputs but will be soon used when the proper TV finds its way to my home. As for the MusicCast app I have to say I like it, even though that specific condition was where i spent a lot of time researching, and comparing. I'm not a huge fan of being required to use an app to control certain functions of the receiver (spotify, sirius, and for those using pandora/rhapsody, which i do not but maybe you do) but the app works great and makes life pretty hassle being able to carry your phone anywhere with you through out the house and have full control on the tunes (as that is not always possible via bluetooth!!!). And on that point, that leads me to the fact that I have a Crackberry Z10, and yes it is possible to get the app through a little googling and back door routing (*cough*apk4blackberry*ahem* for fellow blackberry's out there). Basically the only complaint I can find after 2 months of owning this unit is there is no adjustable crossover for the sub out. I have yet to contact yamaha for this issue but plan to in the immediate future. Not a huge issue but still nothing can be perfect. Maybe a software update can solve that, not sure, but other than that very happy with the product and everything it has to offer!
So for anyone looking for a budget stereo receiver that offers connectivity via all the common sources (spotify, sirius, bluetooth, etc.), DAC, Phono input, network streaming, strong amplifier power, and a sharp clean look, look no further!!! This receiver is for you!!!

Wow. Had the same bookshelf stereo for nearly twenty years. Paired this with some polk rt1 a1s and can hear things I never heard before. Love the MusicCast app. remote is useless. Got rid of a SiriusXM receiver and stream it on this. Maybe upgrade the polk rt1 a5s and use the rt1 a1s as auxiliary speakers.

Fabulous receiver and fulfillment from Amazon.ca. I was looking for a straight forward receiver without surround sound and needless complexity. This is built like a tank and has the perfect sound quality that Yamaha is known for. Highly recommended.

Good sound. Use to Harmon Kardon and this sounds as good. Loaded with features. A little pricey but had to jump to this model to add a sub. Looks great and is heavy and sturdy quality as others have mentioned. Happy with purchase.

Hi all,
Nice receiver, great sound, great feature set. I only gave it 4 stars due to an intermittent wireless networking issue that either doesn't allow me to see the RN602 as an option for the various streaming services, or when it does appear sometimes it won't play the music even though it shows in Spotify and Airplay as being selected (those are the two streaming services I've tested). I typically have to reset everything. Also, in this day and age of really inexpensive dual-band WiFi chips, why offer just the 2.4 GHz band? It is so prone to interference from microwaves, etc., I would hope Yamaha, or every AV manufacturer for that matter, would offer support for the 5.8GHz band as it is not typically prone to interference from other household items. Yamaha isn't alone in this lack of support, but they could definitely differentiate their products by offering dual band support.

I've had this amplifier for a year now, having purchased it to replace my 20 year old NAD amp. I wanted to be able to play music from any source and potentially to multiple rooms, and after a lot of research went for the RN-602. Using a pair of Polk RTi-A1 speakers, it sounds great (classical, rock, jazz), although lacking in bass as you might expect. As other reviewers have said, the remote is not up to much, but since the MusicCast app (Android in my case) works great, not a problem. I have a 4Tb network storage with a lot of CDs ripped at 320kbps (probably excessive). I play these from the NAS, and sometimes use Spotify, Pandora, Phone/tablet via Bluetooth, Net radio and turntable using the phono input for old LPs. I am purchasing a Polk sub-woofer to see how that helps the bass, and will update this review for that.

Практически каждый день заново настраивать
Усилитель восхитительный, приложение кошмар. Настройки будут потеряны, конфигурация меняется, казалось бы, произвольно на ночь, Регулировка громкости очень грубо. При этом, даже с входящих в Wi-Fi-колонок, очень хороший звук.

Ресивер имеет все то, что я термин benö: Он великолепно оборудованы 4 Линейных вх—ngen, 2 Линейных вых—ngen, 1 x Phono, 2 x коаксиальных 2 x оптических Digitaleing—nge, 1 x USB вход für флешки/жесткого диска, 1 х сетевой, 2 пары Колонок и сабвуфера-вход.
Регулировка тембра für бас и Höhen баланс, а также является целесообразным; также Тонкомпенсация-Регулировка присутствует, für но меня УНН tig.
Прямая für те, кто еще Aufnahmeger—te, предлагает он здесь с двумя Anschlussmöвозможности für Tape, DAT, MD или кассету очень много.

Сетевые подключения и Bluetooth только удовлетворительно до ущербным
Все хорошо, отличный звук, но, к сожалению, поставляют только Интернет-радиостанции Access Error, вместо радио и Bluetooth, AirPlay, а также реально шарить, пока соединение t—стоит вновь напоминало. В итоге h& mdash;Amp lt его производительность не обещаем, так как сеть и ПОДКЛЮЧЕНИЯ&Mdash;T st—делает самостоятельно &Mdash;гражданин и не работает. Купил УСИЛИТЕЛЬ nuLine 84 при Nubert. В Gerät так же, как мобильная связь Билайн, МегаФон, МТС, откалывает и всегда должен быть перестроен. Попробуйте сейчас раз Onkyo TX-8150

Yamaha R-N 602 очень хорошо но не идеально
У меня на даче ресивер теперь в течение нескольких недель применения снаружи в саду. Он делает то, что он должен, воспроизводит Интернет-радио, можно управлять с помощью мобильного телефона, по которому можно не правильно установить на телефон приложение, к сожалению, музыку можно перед или назад например, при воспроизведении музыки через Bluetooth, однако это известная проблема, что решит Yamaha, надеюсь, когда-нибудь посредством Update. Высокие, низкие частоты и басы не Настройка с помощью мобильного телефона. Внешний Bluetooth ящики управления работает безупречно, независимо от того, какой производитель. Единственное, что мешает мне в присвоении 5 звезд, то я считаю, что это ресивер не хватает питания, мой старый ресивер Yamaha было значительно больше энергии. Меня 4x JBL Control one дрань и старую избу принес больше землетрясения. Бы мне купить ресивер но все равно, большая часть.

я должен презрев все преимущества расстоянии от Gerät<.br />Кто видел такое раз,
с удовольствием отказывается от других уловок и, в частности,
на стареет–своеобразный комический матричные технологии......
Выглядит очень плохо.
Или ты смотришь на Marantz. (MRC510 и т. д....)

Супер ретро дизайн, подсветка agender и звук в Gegesatz для Yamaha R-N 500 и в С
Я было ищу усилитель также подключен к Сети и хороший звук. Поскольку я хотел работать только стерео я на основе хорошего теста оценки сначала на Yamaha R-N 500 толкали. Там это был хвалили за его хороший звук, производительность, сети рабочих навыков были упомянуты лишь мимоходом. Я этого тогда и сразу заказал Пару Nubert Nubox 513 ( для меня очень хороший универсал.) К сожалению, сетевые возможности R-N 500 были просто ж... . Сетевой жесткий диск не был обнаружен в 3 из 4 попыток, и когда то но то но не музыкального файла :-( . Также Интернет-радио установил во время работы его службы, так как спонтанно без подключения к Интернету. Не изменилось, к сожалению, даже после выделения фиксированного IP-адрес и программное обеспечение. Итак, после примерно 10 дней назад на Amazon. Заказал мне тогда Denon AVRX 1200WBKE. Это ведь на самом деле 7.1 устройство может работать как стерео устройство. При устройстве сети мешали функция была уже гораздо стабильнее, однако, меня три вещи. Соединение Bluetooth через iPhone был с Amazon Prime музыка только умеренно хорошо так как песни должны были быть остановили и только при воспроизведении воздушных шариков, шла о меню экрана Телевизора (идет также определяется по-разному) но решающим критерием был по сравнению с Yamaha Sound, ром вниз довольно хорошо и давление было полностью, однако, при большой громкости звук с помехами что было тревожным и Yamaha могло значительно более нейтрально и лучше. И сейчас кто-то не в моих Nubis которые могут с rummäckelt столько шума :-). Это мне нравится бокс. Так, не хочу отвлекаться, так что Denon назад тоже пошел и заказал тогда, но более дорогих RN - 602 и вот.... Yamaha дело. Сетевые функции абсолютно без проблем. Bluetooth отлично работает, музыку через iPhone с Amazon Prime Music приложение для усилителей-это абсолютно нормально. Звук как при R-N 500, очень хорошо растворенный звук, абсолютно четкое и чистое воспроизведение и уровень намного он отличается в этих критериях даже не немного. И при желание, например, больше баса я иду на устройство и место в этой доброй манере просто с помощью поворотного регулятора. И уже больше времени, чтобы выделили виду в относительно узкой преисполненное передний дисплей на устройстве для меня также совершенно и. о. и играет даже при использовании с MusicCast приложение для телефона или планшета(для работы устройства) лишь второстепенную роль. Еще одно слово о производительности (85Watt RMS при 8 ом),так что в моем усилителе то около 105 ватт а у меня бокс 4Ohm и производительность daruch немного увеличивается. Это для прим. в большой комнате площадью 30 кв. м. более чем достаточно, получил его производительность еще не решился полностью извлечь так как раньше мой слух говорит: стоп, с меня хватит. Поэтому я думаю, что гонка вооружений на много больше мощности в обычного размера комнате не приносит ничего так как aushaltbar (просто слишком громко). Вывод: Кто ищет сетевой поддержкой стерео усилитель (цена в эквиваленте-Западной рамки) не приходит на этом устройстве вряд ли.
