Great guitar for the money
I bought this guitar as a gift for my brother, who’s been saying he’d like to start playing again.
I’ve been playing guitar for 30 years, though almost exclusively electric
I found this guitar to be well made, sounds good with a nice action, (strings are close to the fretboard but not so close they buzz) so it’s easy to play.
I’d recommend this guitar to someone wanting to learn to play or anyone looking for an inexpensive acoustic, I also found the guitar stayed in tune well and looked great, I bought the tobacco burst which cost a little bit more
Value for money, get one.

Damaged product
Recieved defective piece!
Worst buy , pick up was kept on changing due to which i suffered and missed my train.
Never going to suggest anyone else to buy from amazon ever again!
Packing not good at all , definitely the product is going to be damaged.

Perfect start
Really nice guitar! The finish is really good, okay, if you look really really close on some details they may not be top notch, but hey look at the price of this guitar, and you can't complain at all! The overall quality feel is superb.
When it comes to the sound I'm not a pro to judge, but I think it sounds beautiful!
Feels like it going to take some time to "grow out" of this.
The only downside is the strings that are mounted to this. One snap immediately when I turned the tuning peg (the string was pretty sleek before)
But add some 5 £ D'Addario Phosphor Bronze set in your order and the problem solved.

Awesome guitar with the worst packing.
The guitar is awesome, go for it. I just hated the packing as little shaking of the box can easily damage the guitar. The guitar was damaged when I first received it but got it replaced. I thought that the packing would be much better the second time but it was same and thankfully this time the guitar was in good condition. I request Amazon to please improve the packing as there is high chance of getting defective product.

I wish to return this item immediately.
Very low quality with many faults, very dissatisfied. I shall return this item , no securing points for the shoulder strap , tuner is useless , stand defect , a useless guitar...

Broken product....... no protection to product while in transit.....
Product was good by yamaha.... But i received with broken main body of the guitar..... The side of the guitar with sound board not attached ..... The total cavity length was about 80% on the right side.... And if we press them close to each other sound was actually changedbto crisp..... Unsatisfied with the delivery by amazon.....
No protection given to guitar ... Like cushioning.... And the main part.... The delivery boy tied the guitar with his bike on left side tightly...... So i will never ever buy this type of sensitive product from amazon........ But thanks to the awesome return policy.... 🙂🙂

If the guitar is perfect for beginners, make sure it's in perfect condition
Slightly disappointed, the guitar seemed to arrive in a very good condition but then it started making some weird buzzing noise and I noticed one of the pins started coming out which I couldn't push back in. I even watched videos trying to fix it. And still wasn't sure if the buzzing was related to that pin. It probably was fixable, but I'm a complete beginner and chose this guitar because all reviews suggested it's great for my level. Dealing with a problem like this before I even started playing seemed way too complex. So I sent it back.
The rest looked great, it's a beautiful guitar.

BANG FOR YOUR BUCKS. . says a beginner with the help of a seasoned friend
Researched a lot, Reviewed almost everything, enlisted Ibanez MD39C for purchase then made my mind to buy from store. . .BUT then this arrived in front of my eyes. Natural color is treat for eyes. Sounds absolutely fantastic as said by my friend. Comes from a reputed brand like Yamaha. What else does one demands. And it had No damages, No Glue Joints visible on arrival...excellent work by Yamaha.
P.s: My Box didn't had allen key (And I'm not sure if this comes with one), which doesn't bothers me for the price i paid and the beauty i received.

Good guitar, Bad delivery!
The guitar is good with beautiful tone and low action, I just adjusted the nut and the truss rod and the action is lowered to 2.25mm which is very easy to play for a beginner.
Though I still have to mention that the delivery was SO BAD! SO VIOLENT and broke my guitar! The customer service team refunded me 20 pounds, so I have to repair the damages myself.

Quality guitar
Good product for beginners.good finish and easy to play. Good look. Got it for RS 6999 . If you can wait for sale then you might get it for below 6000.

Fantastic guitar. Arrived the day after I ordered it and not on Prime! Brilliant sound, easy to tune and set up. Can't believe the price. Well worth every penny, great product.

Don't buy: Quality control in F280 is missing - Very Poor Quality
Don't buy:
1) Reviewing this guitar after using it for over 6 months.
2) Build quality is not good. The body of this guitar is painted and the paint has started peeling off after 2 months of gentle usage.
3) There is some quality issue in manufacturing (pasting of guitar body), the body of the guitar is cracking; seems it has not been pasted well, for details, please refer to the pics
3) The guitar strings gets loose every second day, as the tuning pegs seem to be of poor quality which don't hold the string tension for long
Better alternative: Yamaha F310 which is made in Indonesia is far far better and is better value for money in comparison to F280. I have used F310 for over 5 years, still it looks and performs better than F280.

Great for electric and acoustic players
Absolutely amazing guitar, not quite your Gibson but I’ve been playing electric guitar a few years and wanted to go more acoustic so this guitar was perfect with its thin neck which makes the transition quite nice and easy also allows to play those rock and roll riffs you’d play on an electric and from experience playing other acoustic guitars that’s not something you can always achieve.

Buy online at ur own risk
I recieved the guitar today
While the guitar in itself is best at this price point.
The condition in which the guitar was delivered speaks volumes about buying musical instruments online.
For starters I noticed a total crack between the tonewood back and the side of the guitar at the bottom. The seal between the back and the side was totally broken with a crevice that's about 8-10 cm in total length. If continued to be used ...it will lead to total collapse of guitr body whithin days.
Also the fretboard.... Rosewood fretboard is really smooth with nice pre set action good enough for beginners and a slender neck.
But it's incredibly dry and not at all conditioned.
The light brown woody discoloration of the fretboard signify poor upkeep of the guitar.
I would accept this flaw if the guitar was not opened, but the cardboard box it came in was just ductaped together with clear signs of being an open box.
So very poor quality control checks before dispatching has made me return this product.
On the upside the sound of this guitar is really good , and I would suggest buying this model above all in this range .
It's slender neck is very beginner friendly.
My advice--- buy this guitar but only from offline stores if possible.
If online is only option , be prepared to recieve damaged/defective product, sans any warranty card, and be prepared to file for 1-2 returns before u can get a decent product.

Lovely looking and good sound
I am very pleased with the guitar. Bought it from amazon warehouse and it is perfect. I haven't played in years and it's taking my fingers a few days to adjust to the steal strings. But the strings are close to the fretboard and easy to play. Also a fantastic sound. Perfect for a beginner also.

two many negatives.
It doesn't look as pictured. The colour is much more bland and the natural finish is only synthetically natural. Very very shiny, too much gloss if that is at all possible and it looks like a very cheap beginner guitar (similar to the £30 ones you get in Argos), as opposed to a bugdet guitar. There is a different. The machine heads are basic, as is the saddle and bridge. I gave two stars because it's easy to play because of the shorter scale length though the action is quite high, which wont help a beginner.

Its broken from the left back side, i would recommend to check if you can have 10 days replacement on your address before buying it.

Quality and fantastic value for money
This is a fantastic guitar, forget the price as this guitar sounds brilliant, it also looks great and feels great to play. I have found it difficult to put down. Nice low action which suits me perfectly. Sometimes a cheap price tag leads you to believe that it is poor quality, this definitely is not in that category.

Buy guitar from shop not online
I am concerned about the genuine ness of the guitar, as it is impossible for me to verify whether the guitar is not a copy product and is original product.
Further I would recommend you to buy the product from shop only, as I found that the action of my guitar is not right and I can not exchange at Amazon as it may not considered as defect

Nice guitar but package was damaged.
Very nice product by yamaha.
I play guitar from last 4 years and i was looking for an affordable guitar. I tried to buy a guitar from 3rd party websites but the service was pitiful. I didn't recieved guitar even after a month and was told that your parcel is misplaced. So i decided to go with amazon and no complaints with amazon. Got the product in just 5 days. The box was little damaged but the guitar was fine.
1 DISCLAIMER FOR BIGGINERS.
Amazon is a retail platform for each and every type of product (not music instrument store), so they don't do setup of new guitar. Action is a little high. Bigginers need to take guitar to an expert fpr setup once.
Well i did setup the guitar myself at home.
It's just great.

Just received damaged piece today 28 June 2020 at 2.20 PM. My daughter is extremely disappointed by the quality of the product.
Only replacement option is given, return policy is not available.
Hope Amazon will promote quality and meet uptown the expectations of its customers.

Received a Damaged one..
Come on guys..You cannot clear your inventory by sending out whatever defective products you have..I have paid the entire amount not to receive a damaged one..May be you can go on for a lesser price with a bargain with customers with such damagaes..

This is the second time happening within a week. 1st guitar Yamaha 310 I ordered was damaged so I had returned it then I placed a 2nd order which I just got and what can I see is the guitar damages Again. Never ordering something from this seller again in life
