New Improved Yamaha acoustic guitar
Good quality and good sound at a reasonable price.In terms of quality it's identical to f310 but has a better string spacing than f310..so overall a great budget friendly guitar.Check out the complete review on my channel The Guitar Chronicles.

Damaged product with untidy box received
Received the product in damaged condition,the wooden rod which was supposed to be stick in the base of th guitar was not at the place and was unsticked.....also didn't get warranty card as it was already torn away by someone also the outer box was very untidy and looks old.... I was very excited for this guitar but my whole excitement ruined up atlast.....

The packaging and handling of the product sucks. Disappointed
The product is really awesome. Quality and sound is great. Value for money. But received the damaged products for the second time in row. Really disappointed by the packaging of the product and the seller sucks.

Great Guitar - Well worth the price.
Perfect guitar for what I need at home.... the F130 Dreadnaught is perfect size and sound for recording songs that I am writing for my wife before I pass away from a terminal illness.
The price point is perfect for what I need it for and other than arriving hideously out of of tune, it’s perfect. One word of advice, the truss rod on mine was ever so slightly loose so needed an 1/8th of a turn to bring it back in to line. Other than that, it’s perfect!

Unbelievable quality
Unbelievable quality - especially at this price. Beautiful tone, and great set up (low action, no buzzy frets, great intonation) straight out of the box. I’ve been playing for 40 years and have a decent collection of high end guitars. This one was bought as a first guitar for my son, and I am delighted with it (so is he!). The F310 was recommended to me by a friend who is a full time guitar tutor, and I can see and hear why.

Fabulous GUITAR
Awesome guitar . It is the good mixture of quality , look , finish and bass sound . All packaging and delivery was good . Just i got guitar with a minor dent which can be neglected . I buyed YAMAHA f280 at 5210rs in Amazon sale and 10% credit card discount . If u buy these guitar for 7k then also its worth it .

Great guitar for the price
Bought in December 2015 and nearly three years on I am more than happy with this purchase. Nice action and a comfortable thin neck. Sound is nice and it's been a great companion on several trips around Europe. I also bought a dreadnought case which has kept it in good condition whilst travelling

Nice guitar
1)Guitar sounds decent for the price, there werw minor scratches on the guitar.
2) Action is high and when adjusted it starts buzzing, so you have to be playing with some amount of action.
3) Amazon packaging was not good at all
4) Did not receive the hard copy of bill and the warranty card was not filled/stamped by the seller.

Great value, nice guitar, poor straight out of the box - easily resolved
After being slightly disappointed that the guitar arrived with a very high action, and a dry fingerboard, I set to work. I oiled the fingerboard and polished the strings, then put the Allen key supplied on the truss road nut, and found it totally slack. Tightened until felt resistance, and then put approx another 3/4 turn on. That straightened the neck from being too concave, and brought the action down nicely. Now it plays well, minimal buzz, has a decent action, and I'm in a position to judge it now. The above was all 'set up', and I would have expected the supplier to do that before shipping really. After half an hour work, it's an impressive guitar, very good value for money. sounds pretty good, build is decent, stays in tune - probably the best sub 200 pounds guitar ive encountered. For that it has to be 5 stars. But - beginners note - its not perfect out of the box, and will need a set up in order to get decent playability .

Good Enough But Amazon needs to work on packaging .
It's a perfect guitar for a beginner or an intermediate player . Amazing bright and deep sound ! Action is just perfect , so are the tuning pegs. Fretboard woah ! You gonna love it , such smooth experience . But the sad thing is that i received a damaged guitar and I'm returning it as we speak . But not to worry , if i received a damaged one , it doesn't mean you'll too. I just hope that amazon and the seller increase the quality of package security . My guitar was packed directly into the factory box with no safety and security measures like bubble wrap or anything. Even the box was damaged when it arrived. So i really want amazon to improve on that . Otherwise great guitar for this price

Lockdown hobby - Great value for money
I have no experience with guitars apart from listening to them. Based on other reviews on this and other sites, I took the plunge and bought it.
It's a full size guitar, so it's big, not heavy but big at least to me.
I Recommend that you purchase a tuner as the guitar will need tuning out of the box. This activity was a great introduction as you get involved with every string and those twisty things at the top - sorry don't know what those things are called!
The steel strings are certainly tough on new-to-guitar-fingertips but as the YouTube channel I'm watching says, five minutes a day for couple of months should start to make things easier.

Stunning Piece of Work
Oh My God!
I've just just taken my brand new F310 out of the box. I had to tune it straight away.
But the sound that has come out of this guitar is so sweet, you would be hard pressed to find a better instrument at this price. (£115.00 GBP)
Honestly, i've been playing for about 20 years (not very well by the way) and have started getting back to my musical roots lately.

What a smart, cool looking and sounding thing this is.
The action is very low, with no buzzing at all, soft feel from the the strings and frets, nice and easy sound when played softly, but loud as an animal when picked or hit with a thumb pick or finger pick.
It is so well built too.
To say that i am impressed would be a serious understatement.
I wish i had one of these when i started playing years ago.
The neck is slightly shorter than usual with this type of guitar and slightly thinner which actually helps with chord changes.

Let's call it a twin brother of Yamaha F310. Almost identical in terms of look, sound and playability (barring a few differences here and there). I think the cost difference is related to the fact that it's manufactured in India. Beginners will surely enjoy this delightful offering from Yamaha.

I purchased this guitar at ₹ 5800..at this price point this is the best guitar....but got a damaged one... request for replacement and got replacement... second guitar is also damaged finally I returned it and got refund....

Brilliant value for money
This guitar is superb value for money. I am chuffed to bits with it. I fancied learning to play the guitar but really did not want to spend a lot of money. Amazon reviews led me to this Yamaha guitar and I really have nothing but good things to say about it. Yes it was out of tune when it arrived, but so what? Part of learning to play a guitar is learning to tune it and within a few minutes I was up and running with a guitar that has great sound quality. Build quality and finish is also excellent.

Damaged product received.
Let me start with F280 itself, it's a great guitar at this price range. Now coming to the product I recieved, it's damaged at many parts. The neck was broken, fretboard damaged, several dents and cracks across the body. I purchased the product at MRP, and this is what value I got for the money invested. I had seen so many complaints regarding customers receiving faulty product, and so that it dosen't happen with me I had specifically called amazon to ensure a good packaging and safe delivery. Still, the end result is disappointing. The packaging is also of really very bad quality.
After raising a return request, I would recommend future buyers that, please don't purchase this from Amazon, rather, if possible, check with a local store first, where you can be assured of the quality of the product.

Beautiful sounding guitar - pick up and play!
I decided to take up guitar during the lockdown, and this model came highly recommended on YouTube reviews, so I took the plunge and have no regrets. Incidentally, Amazon offered it on an instalment basis, so I tried that out for the first time also - that has worked out great as there is a lot of flexibility in how you pay (you can pay off early whenever you like).
The sound from this guitar is full and lively, it looks really smart, and is made with some nice quality woods. The action is just right, as is the width of the neck (I have quite small hands and I can get to every string without a rumpus). It's definitely a pick up and play guitar! But yeah, the sound is amazing for such a modestly priced instrument - it kind of makes you want to play it!
The only really minor criticism that I have is that one of my tuners is a little "jumpy" - it works fine and stays in tune OK but is just a little tricky when tuning. When I feel a bit more confident I'll try restringing it to see if that helps smooth it out.
Overall, I'm just hooked on the sound of this guitar - it's amazing given the very reasonable price tag!

Guitar action a bit too high. Great sound. Value for money.
The guitar action is a bit too high. For beginners, it will be really troublesome to fix that on their own. But other than that, great guitar for the price. Awesome tone. Totally value for money.
But not the same can be said regarding the packaging. Even Rs. 500 products come with so much of padded packaging. But this Rs. 7000 product had no extra padding. It just arrived in the original Yamaha box. No padding or extra cardboard. I was lucky to have received non-damaged product. Packaging needs to be improved.

Quality all the way
First class acoustic guitar with a perfect fret board, use light gauge strings and the action all the way up to the highest chords is perfectly in tune, definitely a winner for the novice or the more experienced guitarist, no need to put more pressure on the fret board as you will get a perfect chord all the way up, Definitely a winner for anyone wanting to learn the guitar seriously.

Received damaged guitar twice!
Received damaged guitar twice. First time the crack was at the bottom and the second time the sides were cracked.
Manufacturing is of Feb, 2020. It appears that Amazon/Appario Retail has stocked up rejected/damaged lot from Yamaha.
