New Improved Yamaha acoustic guitar
Good quality and good sound at a reasonable price.In terms of quality it's identical to f310 but has a better string spacing than f310..so overall a great budget friendly guitar.Check out the complete review on my channel The Guitar Chronicles.

Damaged product with untidy box received
Received the product in damaged condition,the wooden rod which was supposed to be stick in the base of th guitar was not at the place and was unsticked.....also didn't get warranty card as it was already torn away by someone also the outer box was very untidy and looks old.... I was very excited for this guitar but my whole excitement ruined up atlast.....

The packaging and handling of the product sucks. Disappointed
The product is really awesome. Quality and sound is great. Value for money. But received the damaged products for the second time in row. Really disappointed by the packaging of the product and the seller sucks.

Fabulous GUITAR
Awesome guitar . It is the good mixture of quality , look , finish and bass sound . All packaging and delivery was good . Just i got guitar with a minor dent which can be neglected . I buyed YAMAHA f280 at 5210rs in Amazon sale and 10% credit card discount . If u buy these guitar for 7k then also its worth it .

Nice guitar
1)Guitar sounds decent for the price, there werw minor scratches on the guitar.
2) Action is high and when adjusted it starts buzzing, so you have to be playing with some amount of action.
3) Amazon packaging was not good at all
4) Did not receive the hard copy of bill and the warranty card was not filled/stamped by the seller.

Good Enough But Amazon needs to work on packaging .
It's a perfect guitar for a beginner or an intermediate player . Amazing bright and deep sound ! Action is just perfect , so are the tuning pegs. Fretboard woah ! You gonna love it , such smooth experience . But the sad thing is that i received a damaged guitar and I'm returning it as we speak . But not to worry , if i received a damaged one , it doesn't mean you'll too. I just hope that amazon and the seller increase the quality of package security . My guitar was packed directly into the factory box with no safety and security measures like bubble wrap or anything. Even the box was damaged when it arrived. So i really want amazon to improve on that . Otherwise great guitar for this price

Let's call it a twin brother of Yamaha F310. Almost identical in terms of look, sound and playability (barring a few differences here and there). I think the cost difference is related to the fact that it's manufactured in India. Beginners will surely enjoy this delightful offering from Yamaha.

I purchased this guitar at ₹ 5800..at this price point this is the best guitar....but got a damaged one... request for replacement and got replacement... second guitar is also damaged finally I returned it and got refund....

Damaged product received.
Let me start with F280 itself, it's a great guitar at this price range. Now coming to the product I recieved, it's damaged at many parts. The neck was broken, fretboard damaged, several dents and cracks across the body. I purchased the product at MRP, and this is what value I got for the money invested. I had seen so many complaints regarding customers receiving faulty product, and so that it dosen't happen with me I had specifically called amazon to ensure a good packaging and safe delivery. Still, the end result is disappointing. The packaging is also of really very bad quality.
After raising a return request, I would recommend future buyers that, please don't purchase this from Amazon, rather, if possible, check with a local store first, where you can be assured of the quality of the product.

Guitar action a bit too high. Great sound. Value for money.
The guitar action is a bit too high. For beginners, it will be really troublesome to fix that on their own. But other than that, great guitar for the price. Awesome tone. Totally value for money.
But not the same can be said regarding the packaging. Even Rs. 500 products come with so much of padded packaging. But this Rs. 7000 product had no extra padding. It just arrived in the original Yamaha box. No padding or extra cardboard. I was lucky to have received non-damaged product. Packaging needs to be improved.

Received damaged guitar twice!
Received damaged guitar twice. First time the crack was at the bottom and the second time the sides were cracked.
Manufacturing is of Feb, 2020. It appears that Amazon/Appario Retail has stocked up rejected/damaged lot from Yamaha.

Recieved defective piece!
Worst buy , pick up was kept on changing due to which i suffered and missed my train.
Never going to suggest anyone else to buy from amazon ever again!

Awesome guitar with the worst packing.
The guitar is awesome, go for it. I just hated the packing as little shaking of the box can easily damage the guitar. The guitar was damaged when I first received it but got it replaced. I thought that the packing would be much better the second time but it was same and thankfully this time the guitar was in good condition. I request Amazon to please improve the packing as there is high chance of getting defective product.

Broken product....... no protection to product while in transit.....
Product was good by yamaha.... But i received with broken main body of the guitar..... The side of the guitar with sound board not attached ..... The total cavity length was about 80% on the right side.... And if we press them close to each other sound was actually changedbto crisp..... Unsatisfied with the delivery by amazon.....
No protection given to guitar ... Like cushioning.... And the main part.... The delivery boy tied the guitar with his bike on left side tightly...... So i will never ever buy this type of sensitive product from amazon........ But thanks to the awesome return policy.... 🙂🙂

BANG FOR YOUR BUCKS. . says a beginner with the help of a seasoned friend
Researched a lot, Reviewed almost everything, enlisted Ibanez MD39C for purchase then made my mind to buy from store. . .BUT then this arrived in front of my eyes. Natural color is treat for eyes. Sounds absolutely fantastic as said by my friend. Comes from a reputed brand like Yamaha. What else does one demands. And it had No damages, No Glue Joints visible on arrival...excellent work by Yamaha.
P.s: My Box didn't had allen key (And I'm not sure if this comes with one), which doesn't bothers me for the price i paid and the beauty i received.

Don't buy: Quality control in F280 is missing - Very Poor Quality
Don't buy:
1) Reviewing this guitar after using it for over 6 months.
2) Build quality is not good. The body of this guitar is painted and the paint has started peeling off after 2 months of gentle usage.
3) There is some quality issue in manufacturing (pasting of guitar body), the body of the guitar is cracking; seems it has not been pasted well, for details, please refer to the pics
3) The guitar strings gets loose every second day, as the tuning pegs seem to be of poor quality which don't hold the string tension for long
Better alternative: Yamaha F310 which is made in Indonesia is far far better and is better value for money in comparison to F280. I have used F310 for over 5 years, still it looks and performs better than F280.

I recieved the guitar today
While the guitar in itself is best at this price point.
The condition in which the guitar was delivered speaks volumes about buying musical instruments online.
For starters I noticed a total crack between the tonewood back and the side of the guitar at the bottom. The seal between the back and the side was totally broken with a crevice that's about 8-10 cm in total length. If continued to be used ...it will lead to total collapse of guitr body whithin days.
Also the fretboard.... Rosewood fretboard is really smooth with nice pre set action good enough for beginners and a slender neck.
But it's incredibly dry and not at all conditioned.
The light brown woody discoloration of the fretboard signify poor upkeep of the guitar.
I would accept this flaw if the guitar was not opened, but the cardboard box it came in was just ductaped together with clear signs of being an open box.
So very poor quality control checks before dispatching has made me return this product.
On the upside the sound of this guitar is really good , and I would suggest buying this model above all in this range .
It's slender neck is very beginner friendly.
My advice--- buy this guitar but only from offline stores if possible.

Buy guitar from shop not online
I am concerned about the genuine ness of the guitar, as it is impossible for me to verify whether the guitar is not a copy product and is original product.
Further I would recommend you to buy the product from shop only, as I found that the action of my guitar is not right and I can not exchange at Amazon as it may not considered as defect

Just received damaged piece today 28 June 2020 at 2.20 PM. My daughter is extremely disappointed by the quality of the product.
Only replacement option is given, return policy is not available.
Hope Amazon will promote quality and meet uptown the expectations of its customers.

Received a Damaged one..
Come on guys..You cannot clear your inventory by sending out whatever defective products you have..I have paid the entire amount not to receive a damaged one..May be you can go on for a lesser price with a bargain with customers with such damagaes..

This is the second time happening within a week. 1st guitar Yamaha 310 I ordered was damaged so I had returned it then I placed a 2nd order which I just got and what can I see is the guitar damages Again. Never ordering something from this seller again in life

Overall a good package
You cannot buy anything like this in the price range. Forgetting that it does not have any kind of accesories with it. You have to buy it seperately, which might cost you about 2000 even bucks. So keep this in mind. Otherwise, sound quality is awesome and giving 5 stars only for the product of yamaha.. extremely happy as a beginer.

Truss Rod bent. Yamaha won't repair online bought guitar
I bought the guitar, I noticed buzzing sound and thought it will be in fine in few days. After a month still it has buzzing so I went to local store he tried to adjust the truss rod. But it didn't work. He had same model in store it sounds completely different. Store guy told me my Guitars truss rod is bent and it cant be repaired. And yamaha won't give service for online bought guitar.I can't even return the guitar. Better to buy from offline store.

Good product
The E string pin on the top was not evenly fixed. I had to fix it on my own. Apart from that it’s a good guitar in 6-7k range. Yamaha after all. There’s very minor dent on the body but not something big enough to get it replaced. Got a newer product July 2020 manufacturing. It’s worth it’s hype. Better than F310 and yes it’s made in India so feels good :)

I'm a professional guitarist (8-9yrs). I bought this for ny nephew. Build quality is unmatched in all the guitars that are in this range in India. Fret work is at pro level. Finish is also as expected from Yamaha. Big booming Dreadnought sound as always. Only thing is the setup that we cannot expect in this range but Yamaha does a good job in nut height, truss rod relief and only thing I had to adjust was saddle height and after that it was perfect like any other better range guitars. I have not seen such a smooth fretboard in this range trust me because I have been playing since 2011 professionally. After all I just want to say is that even f310 was reasonable at its prize and after the opening of new factory in India and lowered prize its the best in the lot!!!!

Best Yamaha guitar according to price
Yamaha f 280 Best guitar,and best beginner guitar also, it's sounds awesome, price range is perfect for this guitar , even much better product according to price ,its almost like Yamaha f310 , most of it same as Yamaha 310, and Yamaha f280 it's even better , sound asloo amazing , value for money u can buy it without any doubt.

As expected, Yamaha delivers you a awesome products. It is really nice product, holds the tuning for long periods.
Perfect in sound box and fret board size for beginners.
Cons:
1. Strings are a bit hard to hold a chord, you will feel the pain on the tips after 2 songs. I guess you can change to a softer strings and it will reslove.
2. The sound has more bass and less sharpness and treble. So if it suits the genre you play or sing.
But overall it's a superb product in this price range.

Good guitar for beginners with a few small hiccups
Definitely suits a beginner guitarist's needs.
Feels pretty sturdy in hands. The wire winding nuts do feel like they're going to break but so far working fine.
Two months aftee buying, while changing the strings noticed the underside of pins and saw that the wood was torn in a few places. So the pins kept popping out.
But other than that, good enough to warrant a purchase.

Perfect for beginners but if you can spend more go for something better
Well its a good guitar for beginners but the quality is not that upto the mark the paint at the back and the side gets spoilt of it even touches somewhere very lightly i didn’t find the quality of the paint that good but the guitar sounds good and it has truss rod which makes it perfect buy for beginners at such attractive price so please go for this guitar if you are looking for a beginners guitar and don’t go for any cheap guitars it will last longer but take good care of it and don’t bang it or let it touch any rough surface that will destroy the paint and can cause wood deterioration . At last its perfect for beginners but if someone can spend more money should go for something else like fender cd60s solid top.

If you are a beginner like me, without a second thought just go and purchase this guitar you will more than satisfied, in rs7000 range company guitar, no other guitar comes close to this one, as its from yamaha especially made for india, its like the indian version of F310, if you have confussion to choose between F280 and F310, then i would suggest go with F280 as its the same as F310 with more efficient string placement and costs less than F310 there's no other difference between the two.

For beginners
Recieved damaged product at the initial but post the replacement got a good product. It is recommended for beginners since the finger starin is reduced comparatively to my previous guitar. The sound quality is great and the tune will still be intact for weeks no need of adjusting the strings all the time you use

Received a completely e destroyed peace the body was broken and packaging was extremely poor just a single pack nothing else cannot expect such a poor packaging for such delicate and precious product

The only concer for me about this guitar is, that it's string keep breaking quite often, I don't why this keeps happening, even if I take precaution not to overtight them, they still keep snapping.Even the 4th string snapped once.
But it's a guitar and strings are quite thin so not a big issue for me.
Overall, I'm more than happy with the instrument.

Action is very high
Guitar action is so much high I brought it from blueberry seller this guitar is not good for beginners becz of very high action I returned it becz replacement option was not given to me only return option was there I am very dissapointed 😖🤬🤬🤬

A little bit info that you should know...🙃
Although the product is good, but i got a minor scratch at the side of guitar's body, but it can be neglected. At this price segment I think that the quality of the guitar should slightly better, atleast at the sound quality. But I'm also a beginner so I don't have such experience to justify about the quality of guitar 😅. But if you finding a guitar between the price of 6000 to 8000 rs. then it will be the best option and you can also buy this guitar (Yamaha f280) rather than yamaha f310, just you will not get the glossy finish at the side and back of the body like 310.

Good but damaged
Sounds good .... looks good but i got the damage one .... Hope it will not matter later ..... Now since it is very difficult to handle packing in this virus situation..... i dont know if i should replace or let it be ....

A broken guitar
The guitar was damaged and the package was send opend. I never thought it will happen like this i am very disappointed. I love this guitar and waited for soo long but it turned out to be total failure while delivery...

Best guitar for beginners
First the guitar when I received it the first impression was really good.It has a glossy top and matte fretboard
and back. It has a very rich tone. String spacing is also good.The only con I saw is about the packaging it came in the Yamaha box not even in an Amazon covered box.This should be improved.but the review was for the guitar this is worth buying. I am a beginner and this is my first guitar I was confused about which to buy. But after getting it. It's awesome.
