128gb grey/black version...budget brilliance.
220 UK quids this phone cost me..If you are tired of replacing expensive high end phones every couple of years and you aren't hard wired into the iPhone matrix then this device is a no brainer. There is so much here for so little dosh, there are umpteen review videos on YouTube that extoll the x3 nfc's many virtues....but first up.. the built in ads? They aren't obtrusive..if they have contributed to a lower unit cost price then that's awesome by me👍 I've not even bothered turning them off!
If you are stepping down from a super duper amoled screen to this fhd+ LCD then you will no doubt squirm in your seat a tad when first switching it on..super high def this is not. But if like me you can banish the memory of that eye popping panel on your old flag ship blower and focus on the cost saving you have just made by buying the Pocco, then you will indeed begin to feel a wee warm fussy glow of contentment inside..you still have all you need in a smart phone and that bank balance still looks healthy! Where do we start? Good camera, battery life, screen size and refresh rate, gaming performance, slick user interface, connectivity..(feeling emotional here).. praise be to the mobile phone gods!! we have a head phone socket!!! The other manufacturers may be wondering how this phone slipped in under the radar..for the time being it commands a unique place in the budget phone market in terms of price and spec, I'm more than happy hence a bright sparkling constellation of 5 stars!

Too much hype
Wow, I thought, this is going to be the bees knee's. Powerful processor, amazing screen etc etc. And all those glowing reviews.
But
Actually I notice definite stutter with the display particularly when browsing the web. You get weird flashes of images you've looked at a bit earlier when switching between pages. Last time I had that it was a resource issue with a low spec phone.
Stereo speakers? True but they make the phone vibrate. Only solution is to set the phone to mono so, yes, it has stereo speakers but you can't use them without an annoying vibration.
Camera, with lots and bells and whistles. True, so why is it every picture I take comes out a bit blurry? Can't see any reason for that.
And of course Miui 12, Xiaomi's skinned up Android 10. Crammed full of stuff, so why is it that it still has such poor battery optimisation? Even when it says you're not restricting an app in any way it still gets killed. My smartwatch connection has to be kept open by leaving the app open, even though on non Miui phones it can operate in the background. Even though its not being restricted, supposedly, it still drops if the card is swiped off the screen.
Why do people get so excited by a decidedly average phone which performs basic things badly.

Great phone for an amazing price.
You get a lot of phone for a price that makes you wonder how Xiaomi can make a profit. The screen is decent, the fingerprint scanner is fast. Stereo speakers are good and loud and it comes with a headphone jack!
Can't comment on the cameras because I take about 3 photos a year. I also see lots of comments about ads, yes they do exist but after some research, you can turn them off which takes about 10 minutes. I got my Poco running Ad-free.
I also took out the insurance offered by Amazon. £3 a month for accidental damage is a no brainer, seeing as I had to replace my 6 month old MotoG8 plus due to dropping it.

You will be surprised with this phone how good it his.
Read reviews of this phone on YouTube. I can tell you All this phone beat many big brands hands down the screen is fantastic, playing games and watching films is simply stunning, camera quality is on par with many of it's counter parts, battery life is excellent my only gripe is the phone is little heavy but that would have to be down to the size of the internal battery overall very happy.

Wouldn't recommend this phone
Loved this phone when I got it a little over 3 months ago. The battery life is brilliant. I can literally play apps and games on it ALL day and still have 40%. The transfer of information is easy, and I can get all my apps off Google play easy. Some things too getting use to, but changing from Samsung's after 11 years was going to be a minor issue.
Problem is now I have noticed a few quirks with phone. Some links it doesn't like to open, and the screen will just go black. This has happened from various websites and texts.
The predictive text still hasn't learnt the way I write as it's meant to (have triple checked settings). The autocorrect will only work sometimes, and not always when I want it to.
Changing the wallpaper and screen saver is a pain. Wouldn't let me changer just screen saver, so changed both to same image, and then changed wallpaper. Only a small thing but you'd think that a phone nowadays would be able to perform such a simple task.
The internet is terrible. Constantly struggling to stay connected, and the internet has been checked, so definitely the phone.
It doesn't always alert me to a text, or the phone will ring but the screen won't light up to answer it.
I wouldn't recommend this phone and am already looking to replace it.

You won't fell less than any overrated brand.
Really very good option on budget. I was using Huawei P30 pro which has been crashed on an accident. This Poco x3 is the replacement for me. But really surprised to see the performance. Highly recommended. Would say don't go for overrated brand like apple, a
Samsung or Huawei. If xiomi remains on similar grade price, would the best option to choose. However, only after week since started using. Hopefully performance will continue like like that. Overall, good phone set compared the price, performance is quite good also. Happy ☺️ enough for the result.

Best budget phone for 2020, without a doubt, it's two fingers up at over priced flagship phones, just had a busy day using it for work and a 10pm still has 70% battery, speakers are fantastic, good camera and size not as big as I thought . + What adds.

Surprising phone this. I have to buy all my family’s phones which currently include an iPhone 12, iPhone 11, Samsung 10 plus and Samsung 9 plus so I have some to compare with. The Poco is for me, even though my budget is not really a great limiting factor. People seem to want a phone that is either android or iOS and for iOS that leaves limited choice, but Apple make good phones and the 12 has the best, fastest, chip on the market and both 11 and 12 do take good looking photos. Once you are choosing Android though then the choice of phones is massive. Even so, many choose based on brand credibility and Samsung is perhaps one of the traditionally more credible android makers but are still quite pricey for one with decent spec. However if you want a phone that has good specs and you are less brand focussed, then the choice widens. The Poco might then be the phone for you. It is a discerning buy and is almost certainly the best budget phone. But it does not have budget phone specs. Interestingly it has liquid cooling, which none of the other phones I mentioned do. It also has a 120 hz refresh rates again beating all the others. It also has the largest and best battery life and fastest charge time with the charger provided. Like the Samsung’s, it also has expandable micro sd memory. It has an lcd screen but it is still very good and the iPhone 11 is lcd too. Holding the iPhone 12 next to the Poco and looking at the exact same photo both on max brightness, the Poco looks significantly better. The Poco has the highest resolution camera sensor and the photos are basically as good as the others. I would though say the post processing on the others is slightly ahead of the Poco and video stabilisation and video is not quite as good with the Poco. You can though download the pixel 4 software to the Poco which arguably makes it as good as the others. The Poco design is not quite as sleek and the materials used in the build not quite as premium compared to the others. It is splash resistant but not waterproof. Gaming is fine on all games, so real world, it is as good as all the others although the iPhones have better chips so are technically better but in ways you cannot really use. Sound is as good on the Poco. The Poco comes with advertising bloatware built in which is annoying but you can remove it. The Playstore is accessible. WiFi and 4 g are good and phone calls are very good. So bearing all that in mind, with some better and some worse specs, this phone is between 1/4 and a 1/2 the price of the others. It is therefore a no brainer to someone who does not want to get ripped off or is on a budget or is not that brand focused, but more interested in actual performance. Also, Xiaomi is actually a very cool brand. Not in the west, as it is not very well known. But it is cool in the east. They try to make about £2 profit per device so they are consumer focused which is cool if you ask me and gives ultimate value for money.

A bit big
I strongly advise you to physically handle this phone before purchasing. You may find it bulkier and heavier than what you are used to and more difficult to slip into your pocket. In fairness Amazon give the dimensions and weight, but I did not realise the significance. I bought on line because of the lock down. I managed to set it up with the help of demonstrations on YouTube.

Issue with screen, short battery life, seller not responding
Issue with the screen( see picture attached). Also battery hardly last me for 24 hours and I didn't play games or watch video. Problem with notifications, I didn't get notifications about new messages from messenger untill I actually opened app it self. I've changed some settings and it was ok but sometimes I still didn't get notifications.
I've contacted Amazon customer service but no help at all(I need to return an item and wait for refund and be without phone for week or more), seller also never responded. Also I will be charged for return even that I paid £240 and item is faulty and I am prime member for years. It's just wrong.

Amazing phone at an amazing price point!
I have been an iPhone user for many years, ever since my Galaxy S2 and recently I decided to take a look at Andriod again.
I paid 177 GBP for this device and after receiving it and drilling down to the settings I can only be impressed.
The user interface is intuitive and the finger print reader responsive.
The game changer for me is that I can have 2 profiles within the device - one for business and one for personal use all by assigning a different finger print.
The unit is boxed with a case and a screen protector so, what else can you ask for?
For the price and user experience this device is simply amazing and with my photos and files uploaded to one drive and google photos the experience is seamless.
I have to say that the Andriod platform is head and shoulders ahead of iOS and a price point that makes it difficult to ignore.

Unbeatable value for money
The best or one of the best phones I ever had. It is the value for money phone of 2020: excellent performance, almost unbeatable battery life (+fast charging) and good cameras for very cheap.
I had it for 1 month and I cannot see how it can go wrong.

Great phone, great value.
Great phone, arrived before expected delivery so I was even more delighted. Fabulous camera. Two days battery life and that's using phone for social media and games although not too much between 8 and 6. A lot of features you'd expect on a more expensive phone, great value for money. I was a bit apprehensive about the fingerprint reader on the side as im more used to it on the back of a phone but after a few hours I was used to it. Love my new Xiaomi.

If I could this product zero stars I would. Keeps freezing, rebooting itself for no apparent reason while I'm reading my emails, internet surfing, watching videos etc literally every time I'm on the phone.
I DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM especially from this seller. I put through a request to return this phone last Sunday (they claim return will be picked up the next working day, according to this statement, they should have picked the phone up by Tuesday) it's now Friday and they still have not come to pick the phone up. I'm extremely frustrated with the service received and very disappointed in their customer service and care.
