В разделе "вопросы" видел, как человек задавал вопрос по поводу интерфейса этой болванки
Отвечаю я, как покупатель, который рискнул - это PATA, всё в порядке, не врут
Пришёл запечатанный, 2011года выпуска
Всё как и заявлено в объявлении 7200/8mb/80Gb
Я очень рад, продавцу огромное спасибо!
P.s всё хорошо, крутится и вертится, системой определился, доволен как удав

I have several older servers that run these drives 24/7, over the last 10 years they have been nothing but reliable! They last an average of 5 years under the 24/7 use in several SMB application servers. But 'em if you need 'em.

they were not new as posted, they were refurbishedI ordered 2 pcs, one of them was OK, the other one was slow, I had fix some sectors but still slow.

harddrive arrived ahead of schedule, experienced early failure and planned to return, but unit passed all tests and worked without any further problems. Would recommend this provider.

I have a Dell Dimensions 4500s desktop PC that's about 9 years old and it came with a tiny 20 GB hard drive. The drive was full and the small RAM made the desktop run terribly slow. I decided to increase the hard drive capacity, and the Western Digital 80 GB Caviar Blue PATA was a perfect choice. It's incredibly easy to install (15 to 20 minutes) and the data I backed up loaded onto the new drive without a hitch. The 20 GB drive held years of pictures and music, and I increased the capacity by 300% for less than $80. This was a cheap way to extend the life of my desktop for another 5+ years. Give it a try instead of getting rid of a perfectly good desktop PC. (PS: Check your owner's manual to determine the maximum size hard drive that your PC can handle. I went with the Caviar Blue 320 GB drive to start with and it didn't work. I read the manual and found out that the largest drive my old desktop could handle was 120 GB. I returned the 320 GB drive to Amazon and bought the 80 GB drive. So do your homework first.)

I have been running this hard drive for about a year and it is still going strong. It runs quiet and I don't have lag if I come back to my computer after it has been sleeping.

Poduct arrived on time and installation went fine. No issues. Laptop has been restored to working condition wiith 4X the memory of the original machine. Would recommend Western hard drives.

Great drive, if for some bizarre reason you need a mere 80GB. We've shipped quite a few of these in industrial systems and they hold up well.

I received this item within a couple of days. It is really great. As of the quality, I don't have comment because I'm not the user. But I have not received any complaints from the user. So it is probably safe to assume that it is good.

Can't say enough about WD drives. Excellent Products. All my drives are Western Digital. Internal and external. Any other brand always failed for me.

This is a wonderfully quiet, cool and quick drive. 80G isn't much space these days, but when you need a small geometry IDE drive for an application like in a HP Designjet printer, which had a 10G, well.. it's the only choice. Foo on Amazon though for the packaging; the drive's IDE connector was even cracked a bit but it worked and I wasn't going to wait for a replacement. From now on Newegg will get my drive orders.

Formatted and cloned fresh windows install with all desired applications to new WD 80GB Caviar PATA drive via USB to IDE converter. Since drive will accommodate the OS and applications only, 80GB is more than large enough. USB interface was very slow, but the drive works quickly, flawlessly and is very quiet when directly connected to my computer.Great price, and proven reliability. I am very happy with this transaction. Amazon shipped the drives very quickly, and they were well protected by the packaging.

bought this drive to replace a failed 40GB in my daughter's laptop. installed without any problems and is super quiet!tip: if you need to partition, or repartition a drive after it is installed, try easeus partition master home edition. it's free and works easily with an understandable interface. i moved my partitions to give c:\ 5 more gigs and d:\ 5 less and it did it with ease!

I've had this for a while to replace a old drive that was failing. This is only being used about once a week by my grandmother but she sure appriciated it. The drive worked great right out of the box no complaints so far.

I have six WD hds. I lost one but the S.M.A.R.T. feature allowed me to be warned that it was about to die.Western Digital's warranty replacment policy,sending one out before you send in the bad one, is worth dealing solely with them. By the way the hd under warranty was not defective. It was hd that was six years old.

Did not realize until I opened the box that I ordered the OEM product. So I had no cable or softwear. The cable in my computer did not have a second connector but I had saved one from a previous old computer. The softwear was easily downloaded from WD. They are using new softwear. The new softwear was better then what I have used previously. It had an option to clone the old drive without worrying about partitions or formats. Worked great and my new drive it excellent.
