Великолепно
- + Скорость чтения/записи около 65 мб/с, служит уже около 8 лет, никаких битых секторов итд нету, не шумит...

I got this drive from a friend so already i don't have a warranty. I put the hard drive into a known working external hard drive enclosure. this enclosure holds the drive upside down for reasons i will not delve into. When i turned the enclosure on the circuit board started smoking, after less than a second the foam under layer between the hard drive circuit board and the drive itself caught on fire and i did have some flames. i quickly powered off the device and took it outside as not to catch the container filled with paint thinner that was next to where i was working from catching on fire. The Fire died quickly. I called Western Digital about this issue and their comment was "This drive is no longer made so it should not be an issue." Well the drives are still sold at places like Ebay and here on Amazon. I want anyone thinking of buying this drive to think twice before buying it. its the second Western Digital drive i have worked on that has had overheating issues but its the first i have ever seen catch on fire. I hope none of you readers ever have the same issue i did.

This product was a breeze to install. It came securely packaged and brand new as described. Installed and formatted disk. Changed the name...Fin.

I wouldn't advise anyone to order this product! We purchased the SATA drive, and they send us a completely different model with much older technology. The external and internal packaging was all mislabeled, but the older model number was clearly on the drive itself. I received poor service from Amazon trying to make the return, and will not be purchasing similar products in the future.

no longer recognized in bios ... data all gone on client.. stuck spindle can't spin up, chatters.. still a WD fan!!

Gave me a good 3 years of service, and failed 3 years and 3 weeks after I bought the computer. Funny how that works - the warranty for these drives is 3 years.The good news is that it was a slow failure and I was able to back up most of my data while the drive faded away (began with performance problem, degraded into bad blocks, etc).Western Digital is still my go-to company for drives...but I can't give them 5 stars based on this experience.

This is a bare bones drive- no cables, no cd, nothing. So if you have never installed a hard drive before do your research first and buy a sata cable. Amazon seemed to take their time shipping this item. All that being said I have used the drive for a month and it appears to be functioning well. It is quiet and I have had no crashes or any problems of that sort. I am using this drive with Windows Xp 32 bit and have it separated into two partitions. So far so good.

I just received this today (3/19/2011) and sadly I am going to have to return it. I bought this because someone posted a review stating that they installed it into their MacBook; however, I should have read the specs regarding the size. This will absolutely NOT fit into a MacBook, so don't buy this for that purpose.

I got this hard drive to replace my old one that was in my dell inspiron 530s .The old one had a bad sector in it and somehow I fixed the bad sector with a partion software and a few months after the old one started getting around 115f every 30 min . When I got the new the western digital 250gb from amazon i got it in the mail took it out of the box it did not have screws or a sata 2 cable so I had to get the screws off of the old one and the sata 2 cable . It was easy to put in the hard drive and I haven't had no trouble with it and it never ran hot it runs around 100f to 109f

The drive seems to function properly, no problems and very quiet, but...my windows experience rating is telling me this is the lowest rated item on the list at 5.9, everything else(hardware) is 7.0 or higher.So i wonder. Could that be an issue?

Its a great product! Came quick as psromised. Packaged very well. I gotta say I didn't read the return policy but it was in the box and it was great to know I could return it easily if neede! BUY IT!

I got the drive on the day as promised, installed it in to my MacBook, went in to disk utilities to format the drive and it was ready to have OS X installed.No problems, buy it for your MAC laptop, don't waste your money on a hard drive specifically made for a MAC.I paid $44.99, can't beat the price.I Recommend this product.

It was easy to format and install Ubuntu 9.10 on this drive. It's very fast and quiet. Picasa imported 49,000 photos at top speed. It's currently storing 60 GiB with no errors.The drive was healthy with no bad sectors. It passed the extended self test. All SMART data was in the green.Packaging was a simple cardboard box, but it had folded cardboard spacers to center and hold the drive half an inch from the top and bottom, 1 inch from the sides, and 1.5 inches from the front and back. Amazon shipped it in a larger box with an air cushion. The drive had a well sealed anti static bag.I'm very happy with the product. It made a good first impression. I'm using Ubuntu's file encryption and everything still feels fast. It's working well with a first generation SATA motherboard. I didn't need to add any jumper. It appears to fly along at top system speed.

This hard drive has short-circuited as soon as I turned on the power, with a distinct smell of burning electrical wires. What is worse, it has also killed the motherboard of the computer it was connected to. Upon a second test, it has released white smoke from the area of the power connector. Now I'm stuck with a dead computer. Thanks, Western Digital!

100% satisfied by this drive. *WARNING : you need to purchase a SATA drive cable*Easy to install into computer. If you have windows xp you would have to activate the drive from memory management. Besides that is has a great amount of space (actual space is 230GB)and is very fast. Definetly recommend this product to those who need either a cheap yet fast master drive or just need a little extra room for those games and movies.

I bought this drive to replace a dead drive on a Dell Inspiron 531. Installation was easy because I replaced the exact same drive and saved the computer because it would not even boot from the old drive. This was easier and cheaper than taking it in for service and now I have a clean new dirve that should last several years.My computer now runs like new.

Purchased two of this HDD for backup, based also on some external reviews. So far no problems, hope that the relative low data amount / density will also give a good lifetime.

I bought this drive to install and run an OS on, but i partitioned 50 gigs to the system and 200 for data storage. I've heard getting large hard drives for the operating system can couse it to slow down, but no problem here. First off it is very quiet, and runs very good. It's always stayed pretty cool, as long as its being ventilated. The speedy 7200 RPM disk really helps on loading/saving files on your computer. There isn't much to say since a hard drive only stores and loads files, pretty basic stuff. I'm definitly happy I purchased this product and looking foward to buying another one for my next build.

This drive became corrupt while installing an OS on it. It basically died before I could even utilize it. Exchanged it for a new one and so far it's been working flawlessly. Installed Windows 7 on it and have been using this drive exclusively for over a week now with no problems whatsoever. I will edit this review if it ever dies again...

Hard drive went in daughter's computer, this one worked perfectly as a replacement. We had someone put it in, but watched & it was so simple we could have done it ourselves. Got her computer up & running in no time!

Got this hard drive for a friend. So far there has been no problems with this drive. It installed easily, windows vista recognized it quickly and basically I got what I'd paid for.

To date, there isn't much to say about this drive other than it hasn't died on me a few weeks in, so it works fine. It's a hard drive - it does it its job. End of story.
