Плохо
- + Собрал системный блок из отдельных комплектующих, ну выбрал этот жесткий диск. Из плюсов могу сказать, что он не греется и работает очень тихо. У меня в корпусе стоит один вентилятор на 120мм работающий на вдув. И температура харда находится на отметке в 34 градуса. При этом с открытой крышкой корпуса совершенно не слышно как он работает.

I have a Dell Dimension 8400. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The BIOS is A04 (old). The BIOS version is not suppossed to support hard drives in excess of 400 GB or so. Certainly not 500 GB. Unfortunately, the BIOS upgrades are not 64 bit compliant so I would have to do some work to upgrade the BIOS and it's not worth it right now. So, I ordered the 320 GB WD Green Drive with 32 MB Cache. A 500 GB version arrive instead so I thought I'd give it a shot. I initially isntalled it as a secondary drive. After formatting it I found that the drive kept disappearing. I did not want to transfer my files to the drive before I was able to confirm I could depend on it. After some reading I followed a suggestion to load something (a file) on the drive and after doing so, the drive stopped disapearing. I then used the Western Digital Acronis True Image software (available on the WD website) and cloned the main disk to the new 500 GB disk. It worked great and was easy to do. By the way, the system recongizes the full drive without partitioning it to smaller sizes. After testing the new drive I am now using it as my primary drive and unplugged the old one. Seamless. The reason I wanted to add drive capacity was that my old drive was small and quite full and my computer was slowing down.. From power on to login screen it was taking rougly a minute and 42 second before doing the upgrade. After the change, the boot time is about 34 to 35 seconds. Quite an improvement. I thought I'd pass on the success. I paid about $63 after shipping for the drive and had my own sata cable.UPDATE: Not too long after starting to use the green drive, it began to run loud and make ominous noises. I've been through a hard drive class involving the disassembly and reassembly of hard drives and based on my training and experience I believed the hard drive was beginning to fail. Given the age of the computer I decided to make my move to a Synology DiskStation 2-Bay (Diskless) Network Attached Storage DS212+ (Black) using 2TB WD Red Drives. Decommissioned the tower. Very happy with my decision.
