Better Than Perfect
My artistic intentions have always been sadly restricted by a lack of tools and talent. The free Krita digital art software and £35 for this Wacom tablet have resolved the former and even make up for some of the latter. Seriously, while creating my first digital 'painting' following Bob Ross's "Mystic Mountain" episode (yes, the illustration is my first attempt) I spent more time learning which brushes and settings were most appropriate in Krita than setting-up the graphics tablet. Apart from adjusting the pressure-sensitivity to find what was most comfortable for me and changing my mind about what I wanted the pen-buttons to do the tablet itself was a simple matter of plugging it in.
As a caveat - it's just as well that everything was so simple as there is no printed or PDF manual and the only help - from the Wacom website - is not at all clear. This is, of course, an older piece of hardware and their cheapest but I would still have liked something easier to understand. It remains true, however, that the biggest obstacle to understanding the hardware that I had was in understanding how little there was to understand - it really is very, very, simple to install and operate and works extremely well.
Alas, I think I still lack the talent to benefit from it fully but it has already been well worth the money and I'm very happy with this device.

Impressive
Bought a different make and it was problematic to say the least, learnt my lesson and went for the slightly more expensive wacom. Came in a very neat little box and with a minimum of packaging and connected the pad and it worked straight away (replacing my old wacom) though I then de-installed the older drivers and installed the latest ones July 2020 for the actual model and it works even better. Registered the device which is always a little bit of a hassle as I had to set up a new account - loved it asked for an e-mail then just sent the registration to the one it thought it should send it to.
Anyway, once working - brilliant. Great responsive feel, like the surface as it has a slightly rougher (but gives it an aural feedback that works well) and it is nice to have a working artpad again that actually works with pressure etc Can now use Clip Studio and Painter etc as they should be used. The artpad was cheaper than my original one which I have had for years and it is bigger so totally superb. Really looks a lovely item as well. Like the touch to have a pen holder as well on the side. And that I can now disconnect the pad as well, super useful. The pen feels a lot nicer than my old one as well and I have some replacement pen nibs again (yipee) as I had long long mast last lot and the nib for my old one was not great - this new one is excellent - pleased with the purchase

Bought for OSU!
☆ Has zero delay hovering or dragging.
☆ Even though it is a small-size, the area is pretty big and there's no need to go for a larger one.
☆ The quality of the material is awesome for the price range and will probably last a few years even playing like an addict like me. The pen could've been way better and sturdier but that's just me nitpicking.
☆ Pen holds pretty well even without rubberized surfaces. Feather-like lightweight, just the right size.
Saying anything bad about this tablet would be a sin. It has everything you would need, even though it lacks rubber on the pen or a longer USB, for the price you can't ask for anything more than it has. Equal to a CTL-480.

Works with Linux, no drivers needed
Using a modern Linux installation then "just works". I didn't install any drivers or alter my set up in any way. Just hook it up, turn the machine on and its all detected and working. Gnome has integrated tablet tools which allow you to set it as absolute positioning or relative, to tie it to one monitor, the usual settings. Couldn't be simpler. Once setup it was immediately working in Gimp and everywhere I expected it to be. Very happy, extremely simple setup for a budget device.

No Mac Drivers?
Bought on a whim as i've never used a graphic tablet. The software recommended that you download for a Mac from the Wacom site doesn't even recognise the tablet in Catalina 10.15.5 or .6. The Tablet works or is recognised by the Mac OS anyway which maybe the cause perhaps?
Using this device is like trying to control a smart phone with your elbow whilst being blindfolded. It's resolution/sensitivity isn't great and as I've mentioned I appear to be using it via an Apple driver so it's exactly like using a mouse but much, much slower in a bad way and a least with a mouse I don't have to buy replacement light, unlike this devices stylus/nibs
Possibly a reasonable toy to give somebody being taught photoshop from day one, but useless to try and use constructively for work and a danger to allow its usage on the desktop/finder

Be aware! Tablet is great but the PEN!
I was excited to get this tablet but all my enthusiasm was shuttered to pieces after I took pen in my hands. Up to this moment I used Bamboo Pen kit which was superb for the price and usability. Pen is tactile, so the buttons. Easy to hold and use it. Back to Wacom One . First of all pen is smaller which for even my average hands is somewhat wrongly scaled down version. Plastic used for the pen is super slippery because of that my fingers always struggling to find the right angle and grip to hold it without a fight. I gave it half and hour. It was a generous try on my side because I wanted to throw that pin into my log burner. I took a deep breath instead packed it and filed a return.

Rubbish tablet and worse...
I have heard a lot of good things about wacom and have had a bamboo for a while with no problems so I thought this would be a good alternative to my rather old pen tablet. Boy was I wrong. I dont know if it was a compatibility issue or a damaged product...after all the amazon driver did put it through the letterbox rather than handing it to me...but it didnt work properly at all. The drivers wouldnt install properly so it was impossible to configure it. Not only did it not work, my bamboo then stopped working and I had to reinstall the drivers for that too. This has got to be the worst pen tablet I have ever owned, even the cheap generic one I have for backup is better and that isn't good. Luckily I bought it from Amazon so at least I can get my money back. Meanwhile back to working with my old and mostly reliable, antiquated tablet which does exactly what I need it to do most of the time.

Great for beginners but you need time to get used to it! :)
I'm not sure what warmth has to do with it but its great for beginners like me but im still taking time to get used to it! Unless your already experienced with tabs like that then its great but TAKE TIME TO GET USED TO IT IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER! Have a play around with it on paint or any drawing software :) other than that its great!
Edit: Since buying it, above is my artwork, im still learning do draw faces and bodys but I've never been impressed with my work before since I brought the tablet, so yes, id highly recommended it for beginners.
Its pressure sensor is perfect but if your using gimp to do any drawing, go to YouTube and have a look at some videos, it would be difficult for me to explain otherwise.
It does come with spare pen nibs and a tool to remove it and its small enough to fit into my bag if I want to take it traveling with me.

Excellent for beginners
Currently learning Adobe Illustrator and this has been perfect for me. You will need to download the driver and set up the pen for sensitivity. Took me a day or two to get used to it. You can do some line and circle drawing exercise to improve you hand eye coordination which helps you get accustomed to it faster. Haven't had any problems and made learning graphic design much smoother, certainly better than using the mouse for me.

Perfect graphic tablet for drawing!
I use it every day and it is easy to use. It reminds me of the old Wacom Bamboo tablets.
Although there are other cheap graphics tablets, I bought this one because I’m a beginner and everyone I’ve talked to has had their Wacom for many many years and they still work!!! I like that I can get a quality drawing tablet at a good price (without having to buy some cheap Chinese crap that’s going to sit in a landfill after a year because it stopped working) I also like that there aren’t batteries that I have to replace.
I use it on both a Macbook Pro and a Windows PC. The Windows PC didn’t require drivers, but I suggest installing them anyway, so you can customize the pen buttons.
As a someone just getting into digital art, I’m very pleased. It’s not as full-featured as some of the other Wacom tablets, but it’s certainly a great starter tablet. And for Wacom quality, you can’t beat the price.
Pros:
- a reliable and inexpensive tablet
- Pen doesn't require a battery or need charging time
- 2 shortcut keys on pen
- straightforward installation of drivers
- Wacom quality
- Small size is very portable
Cons:
- no shortcut keys on the tablet (only on the pen)
- not wireless
- no touch surface

Great Tablet for Osu!
These pros and cons are coming from someone who only uses this tablet for playing Osu:
Pros:
-Simple, quick, and easy to setup
-Noticeably better than cheaper tablets, like the XP-pen Star G640 (less jittery cursor movement, less weird glitches)
-Can set exact tablet area from the software
-Pen is lightweight, battery-less
-The quality of the tablet durable
-When I switched from cheaper tablets to this one, I actually improved a little and had better accuracy and control in game
-Worth the money, as this is still a relatively cheap tablet
Cons:
-The micro USB cable is a little short, it couldn't reach my PC (luckily my keyboard has a USB port)
-The USB port on the tablet is on the left side, making it hard to put the tablet close/next to my keyboard because of the cable
-The buttons on my pen rattle slightly when I shake the pen (this isn't really a problem, just a nit pick)

Decent for beginners but still a little pricy
Wacom is a trusted well known and trusted brand in the art industry. They make some pretty high end tablets and some low end ones to, this would be one of the low end ones. No software, no buttons except on the pen / stylist, which can be a plus side if you look at it, it gives you more work space... That being said it does have less pressure then the other models, but I doubt you'll notice much of a difference if you are just starting out, but if you are a artist and or like to draw already, then i would save your money and get another tablet.. Wacom might be a great company but there are a few others behind them still holding strong and cheaper.
If your looking for a tablet and money is not a concern, but u just want to start out, then this is great choice for beginners to entry level, even your basic photo editing nephew would love this for the holidays, lol.. (im sure they might shave 10 to 15$ off come the holidays for this? then it be worth it, and a great gift)
*Edit* After 3 hours of testing it, it has stopped working on me and disconnected on me at least 4 to 6 times. Software or hardware? no idea, ive done a fresh install on software, and still had an issue, not happy. did a re install of the drivers /fresh, and fresh restart as well, 3rd time round seemed to happen less, no idea why, but still happening to me, maybe just a lemon tablet for me.

Awesome drawing tablet for beginners!
I have done my research and I know Wacom is THE brand to get for drawing tablets, so I was happy to find this model at a great price. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and I will say that it is very sturdy and the quality is very nice! (does not feel cheap at all) . I would say this graphic tablet would work great for kids or if you're looking for a starting tablet THIS is what you want. The set up was SUPER easy and I have been using the tablet for graphics and drawing. (I don't even use a mouse any longer) My daughter is a budding artist so I am going to give her one as well to begin using!

My first drawing tablet
I used to use my mouse on paint but no moooore.
This drawing tablet is nice and simple. I haven't fully understood the customizations just yet but I'll get there. The instructions were really simple like a piece of paper, probably should've gotten the one that came with software but I was set on the getting a "beginner one" for my sake.
Comes with extra writing nubs and the ring to pluck em. Will eventually need a screen protector or case if I plan to travel with it.
The customizations are very detailed and the driver download is only a few minutes.
Already making doodles. UwU

It's just not very good quality
I understand a $50 tablet is certainly well below professional level, but this thing is not well put together. Tablet itself is fine, not much you can do to make a sheet of plastic better or worse. It does have a little more friction than I expected, and most definitely does not feel like a pen or pencil on paper.
The stylus is very cheap plastic with a couple cheap buttons. My stylus arrived malfunctioning, and I never did get it to work 100%. It would draw before it made contact with the tablet and moved the cursor or pen when it hovered above the tablet. This seems to be something of a thing because there was a decent amount of chatter on the help blog. None of the trouble shooting steps worked for me.
What makes me not want to repurchase or purchase a nicer tablet is the total lack of a method to contact customer service. Something tells me mailing out a new $2 stylus would have fixed my problem, but I couldn't find a chat button or email address to contact Wacom. For $50 OK - I'll take no service, but no way am I going to fork over a couple hundred to a black hole.
The product is OK, and for the money worth a shot. I'm sending mine back, and if yours is anything like mine then you can too.

Small but mighty!
Yes it's small, but don't underestimate it! It's compact and easy to travel with, plugs into any USB port, and has a nice little sleeve on the side to hold the pen. Very easy to set up and start using and is very cost efficient if you are low on funds or buying to get your feet wet in the Wacom world. I have used their biggest and best products and now I own this little guy and I love them all.

My first transition to technology application- loving it
As an artist, I've never used any type of technology for my mediums. I loved how easy it was to use. I didn't want to go too expensive on my first investment, but at this price point and form factor, I don't think i need anything else. Its been great!

Be sure to download the correct driver—Wacom makes two very similarly-named products!
This is definitely a beginner's tablet. The resolution and controls are adequate for my needs, but a more advanced artist would definitely find it lacking. Pressure-sensitivity is decent. The stylus feels a little cheap, especially the button feel, but not so much that it feels like it's going to fall apart on me. The tab on the side that holds the stylus when not in use fits the included stylus only if you stick it in from the top end of the stylus; if you try to stick it in point-first, the buttons will get in the way.
It connects fine to USB-C via a standard A-to-C adapter. It does not connect consistently through a corded hub; I have a dock-style hub on order for my MacBook Pro, and when that arrives I'll test how well it connects through that.
You can switch functionality between absolute and relative positioning (like drawing directly to a screen vs. using a trackpad), but you can't change the orientation in either mode. This is a minor frustration because it works only with the cord entering the tablet from the left side, but the way my system is physically arranged it would work better for me with the cord entering on the right side.
When you go to Wacom's site to download the driver, be very careful that you pick the correct model. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Wacom has two completely different tablets that are both called "One": the Wacom One and the One by Wacom. THIS TABLET IS THE "ONE BY WACOM", not the Wacom One, and will not work with the Wacom One's driver. Wacom's site will not tell you directly that there are two different "One" tablets—this one is an entry-level model, and the Wacom One is a super-high end model, so unless you view all models at once, you're not likely to see both on screen at the same time.
Aside from the driver confusion, this is a pretty good beginner tablet. I'm quite happy with it for the price I paid for it. If you're looking to try out tablet drawing, this is overall a good choice for a decent inexpensive test run. More advanced artists should probably look a bit higher on the chain.

So simple and intuitive to use!
The best thing I have bought to advance my photo editing and digital paintings (Photo example). It is so easy to use and intuitive. There are some good YouTube videos on how to set it up for your needs too. Love it. I am a Mac user.

Its usable for a portable tablet solution. Its cheap enough to buy for your laptop bag. It's a no frills wacom tablet.

Great for teachers!
I bought this so I could write on my screen while teaching sixth grade math remotely. I can easily use this along with some Chrome extensions (paint tool and page marker) to write directly on any webpage while recording myself or while I'm live in a virtual meeting. When I have to write on a word document, I can upload it to Kami and write directly on it using their drawing software. It works great and has been an absolute lifesaver for remote teaching, especially for showing students how to do a math problem directly on the screen!

You Can't Go Wrong with WACOM
I haven't used a mouse on my own computers for over 30 years now, I have been using some sort of digitizer pen pad all these years. I've also been using touch screen and pen operated PC tablets on a regular basis since 1998. Yes, they have existed that long. Pen tablets have a lot on common with digitizer pads, and with thirty years experience, I would never spend my money on any digitizer pad or pen operated device that was not made by Wacom. Wacom is the absolute master of this technology, nobody else provides the precision and dependability of Wacom products. I don't work for them, I have never received any compensation for this opinion - it's simply that I have been able to depend on their products when several others have failed to live up to the same standard. Anyway - I've got one of the big Intuos pads on my main machine. I bought the Wacom One for one of my secondary machines and it works great. Even the lower price Wacom products are very precise and provide good pressure sensitivity and functionality. You cannot go wrong with Wacom. You can use these products for many years unlike some other brands. I'm happy to pay a little bit more for something that works twice as well and last twice as long - I call that a "bargain."

It works on Ubuntu 18.04 after downloading and compiling an the driver.
The tablet is large and comfortable, it arrived faster than expected.
When plugged out of the box my linux laptop didn't recognize it (the mouse pointer didn't move).
The reason is that this is not a regular "watcom one" which is supported by the default driver included in Ubuntu, the marketing name printed on the box is "One by Watson" but technically speaking this is a "Wacom One Creative Pen Display" and supported is not yet included in the default Ubuntu release. The good news is that there is a well-written wiki at linuxwacom.github.io with super clear instructions on how to download, build and install the driver that actually works without any nasty surprises!
