Великолепно
Crispy, juicy salmon. Finally.
I'm going to start with saying, I love my cookware but it doesn't get me all fired up. (Pun intended )
I don't think I've ever given 5 stars to cookware, bakeware, etc unless it did something nothing else has.
This pan has helped me accomplish the impossible. Cook a piece of crispy, juicy salmon.
It's been a mission.
I work part time at a restaurant during season. One of my fave chefs makes The Best salmon.
He's given me tips & I always fail.
Not to brag but I have great kitchen skills. It's frustrating.
Guess I just needed the right pan.
This pan, even with a non stick, let me get the heat high enough to crust the salmon on the stove &
slide it in the oven for a few minutes to finish cooking without losing the crispness.
To be clear, I would not call this chef quality, as I work with chefs bc it is just way too heavy.
I'll let you in on a little secret about professional cookware, it's very lightweight & never non stick.
That being said, I have one of those pans and burn the fish.
This pan let me finally cook like a pro & that to me, is worth 5 stars.

Quality cookware!
The Valira Lightweight (cast aluminum) pan is perfect for my glass-top, electric stove. The pan is attractive, has an easy to grip (thick) handle that is bolted into the pan versus being soldered, so it seems secure. It has a non-stick/scratch resistant 12-inch surface, that is wide enough to sauté or pan fry simple foods. You could probably even make a pretty decent omelette in it. This pan is also pretty easy to clean. I wash mine by hand, but the manufacturer says that it is dishwasher safe. I also wouldn’t recommend using anything abrasive to clean it, like a Brillo pad or an SOS pad, for fear of compromising the finish. So far just a little soap, water, elbow grease and a soft washcloth has been enough. In conclusion, I was not familiar with the Valira brand (which is made in Spain), when I received this pan, but so far I am pretty impressed. So for a little investment, you get a really nice pan to add to your collection.

Love this pan!
This saved my life at Thanksgiving. I was so impressed with how well it did from stovetop to oven. The pan is professional quality and makes cooking & clean up a breeze. Be sure to get a silicon sleeve for the handle has it gets HOT when cooking. I made the mistake of touching it. OUCH. The best part is the clean up. No stick. No mess. Super easy to clean up which is a life saver! Great pan, perfect addition to any kitchen and would make a fantastic gift for anyone.

heavy duty
Like most: heavy duty... clean.. it does not burn.. It heats up well.. Even cooked my bacon evenly also the grease does not appear to be sticking to the pan but bubbled in a certain area... I do have the bottom dirty due to my stove but I think this will wash off. I will update when I know more.
The size is great too.
Like least: Nothing as of yet... I will update as I continue to use it...

Everyday pan
This has become my almost everyday pan whever I need to use a skillet. It heats evenly, cooks evenly, and clean easily. Occasionally I will need to clean the bottom with a little bon ami, but other than that the pan is Bullitt proof. Well almost. The PfOA free coating isnt. After several months of use while only using wood utensils, there have been light scratches to the coating. Unsure if it will hold up over time before replacemwnt is warranted.

Excellent quality cook wear from Valira
This is a very nice piece of cook wear. It feels substantial and well made but it has a nice sense of balance in the hand. This is a very attractive piece of cook wear as well. All that is icing on the cake as it works wonderfully to evenly heat food items. It doesn't take very long to heat up and the cleanup is a breeze. I really like the fact that there is no exposed anodized aluminum lip between the top and bottom of the pan. The non-stick materIal envelops the top portion of the pan and further adds to the ease of the clean up. Ant chef should be delighted to have this pan in their collection.

Hefty but even cooking pan
All non-stick pans break down after some point - it's just a matter of when. This pan is starting off well. The pan has quite some heft to it, heats quickly and cooks evenly. Initially, it is cleaning quickly.. hopefully, with some care, I'll get over a year of use out of it as I cook daily.
I retired this pan after 2 years of main use which is pretty good. I keep it around for when I know I want to use when I don't want to use my nice pans.

Great Non-Stick Skillet!
I love my Valira Aire skillet. It truly is non-stick and scratch resistant. Easy to use especially if you season it occassionally. It cooks evenly and seems to cook quicker than my others. The handle does not get hot when usingThe workmanship is excellent with the handle bolted to skillet. This baby cleans up easily. A five star, for sure!
