Internet black spots and drop out a thing of the past

Just installed this system and so far it seems that the black spots and internet drop out in my three story cottage with thick stone walls are a thing of the past.
The styling of the product is clean and sleek and the installation instructions via a downloaded app were easy to follow provided you are a little familiar with technology terms such as modem etc.

Perfect!

Had issues getting wifi into a granny flat on the back of the house. This gear sorted it no problem though! Had an issue with the android set up app but used my wifes Iphone and it worked perfectly.

Perfect for improving wifi

I work in the telecommunications industry so I know the limitations of the standard WiFi routers that broadband providers supply, I often found that although the speeds I got were okay, the WiFi performance is often lacking... Through work I knew about Mesh systems and how well they can work, since installing this system in my home, (which was incredibly easy to do following the steps on the app) I've gone from struggling to getting WiFi upstairs, to being able to get the same level of stability and speed in the far corner of my garden where the bbq is, which will be perfect for summer. What I would advise for anyone that purchases this is that if their router at home allows them to put it into modem only mode, unless they need the ethernet ports on the back of the hub to do so and run only using the Deco mesh systems WiFi, however if like my router which doesn't have that function, log into the admin page of the hub and stop it broadcasting WiFi, a quick Google search will let you know how to do this if unsure.

Not quite what I wanted (but close enough)

Important notes:
- This is the E3 model and does not have gigabit ethernet, so bear this in mind for any wired connections. If you need gigabit ethernet, look for the M3 instead.
- The Deco app is necessary to properly configure.

Otherwise, surprisingly easy and fast to set up as long as you use the app - though weirdly Fast Roaming (one of the benefits of the mesh net) is not configured on by default.
Not yet convinced if it's value for money (I've bought them to replace a set of cheap wifi routers), but it is nice not having to make sure my devices are currently connected to the closest hotspot!

They are a lot larger than I had expected - having a similar footprint to a 2L bottle of pop, rather than a large mug, so keep this in mind.

As another note, if you don't need the ethernet connections, you may be better off getting the M5 and M3W wall plugs (or the M3/M3W multipacks) to save space in your house (and a few quid).
