Snappy, smooth functioning smartwatch with great battery life. Extremely happy with my purchase.
I have had a Huawei watch 2 since it’s release and always liked the watch but the laggy functionality and limited battery life limited the enjoyment.
This watch resolves both of those issues and the bigger screen is also much easier to use with less precision required on some of the more cluttered apps. There is a calculator app that I thought would be unusable on a watch but it is easy to use accurately (basic functions only). The watch is also more comfortable to wear despite being bigger and heavier. The strap is reasonably soft and if you are worried about the monitors protruding from the back (I was concerned coming from a smooth back), it is not noticeable and I find the strap can be less tight to get a good reading so actually improves comfort.

Use case. I am an active sports person so I do use HR and GPS tracking regularly. I already own a dedicated sports watch and I had considered replacing that rather than buying the Ticwatch. However, I also use wear OS shopping apps and other day to day apps just as frequently that the sport watches don’t cater for as well. I decided the Ticwatch was the best of both worlds. It has not disappointed.
A 3 hour mountain bike ride with HR and GPS on and even after a full days usage, I went to bed with 70% battery remaining. I could easily do a full day ride with this battery.

The second screen (essentials mode) works great and shows the necessary data when active. HR, time elapsed, pace and a scrolling height and calories measure. My activities are set to auto sync to Strava. I have turned off auto detect activities though as it is very generous on what it considers a run.

Note that the second screen does impact the functionality of some apps that display over other apps. E.g. I use a shopping list app that sits on the top screen on my Huawei so you don’t need to keep reopening it each time you check your list. The essential screen does take precedence on this watch although a simple tap wakes it up to show the app again.

HR accuracy seems good enough. I haven’t done extensive comparison tests to a chest strap but I have been training with HR for years and the readings are where I would expect them to be for given effort across easy, tempo and hard efforts. Background tracking is giving higher readings than expected but I have not had the strap tight enough. Not an issue for me as I only have continuous tracking turned on for novelty but if I were interested, I would need the strap snug at all times.

I like wear OS but was reticent to re-invest until Samsung and Google teamed up to breathe new life into the platform. This watch is still on wear OS 2 and the update to 3 seems to be getting delayed but this watch is due to get the update. I am perfectly happy with OS 2 but it was important to get a watch that will update to 3 as app support for Wear OS 2 is dying. To be honest, the wear platform is my biggest concern with this purchase. It works well but Google have blown hot and cold with investment and support.

I use the watch with an iPhone. Everything works apart from the inability to send texts or take calls on the watch as apple lock that out.

I paid £245 with a voucher code and consider this a great buy.

So this is the first review I have put time and effort into, as I think this is something that everyone is who looking into this watch needs to know! What a watch! Everything just works, exactly how it should with no issues!

I bought this Ticwatch as an upgrade from my last Ticwatch - Wanted to stay within the Mobvoi product range due to my experience with previous watches. And I am so glad I didn't move to another brand.

So, from the beginning. The Ticwatch arrived, nicely packaged and secure. Inside the box I received the TicWatch, USB charger and manual along with a quick start guide. The watch turned up with 89% battery, more than enough to get started!

Powered the watch on and was greeted with the Google WearOS setup page, followed the simple instructions and continued the rest of the setup on my phone. Added my Google Account, Mobvoi App (optional, but increases the usability of the fitness tracking) and for me, the most important part, my Google Pay account.

Went through the settings on the watch and customised to my liking. I ensured that the lift to wake and always on settings were disabled for optimal "smart watch" battery life - And this works perfectly. I have managed to get almost 3 and a half working days out of the watch before it automatically went into "essential mode". Speaking of essential mode it works flawlessly ensuring the basic functions of a watch are available when the battery is low. The marketing material says that this iteration of Ticwatch will last 45 days in Essential Mode and while I haven't tried this I do not doubt this at all.

The performance this Ticwatch is something I have never experienced before. No lagging, no slowness no freezing. It's responsive at a moments notice and that has been greatly improved since my first Ticwatch. Scrolling through the app drawer and the options is just simply pleasant and responsive. The GPS is spot on and worked without issues during a walk out with the family. No drifting experienced.

The fitness tracking is something that I only started becoming interested in over the last few months and I am so glad Mobvoi have spent time developing their own feature set as I am not only able to monitor and track my heart rate 24/7, but also track my own mental fatigue and energy levels. Something which really stands out in my face paced job. There is a way to link the proproaty apps with Google's version of Apps too, but I do prefer TicHealth and TicPulse. Google Pay and offline Spotify have been perfect too. The ability to be able to leave home to pop to the shops with nothing other than my watch is amazing. First transaction failed but the TicWatch asked me to confirm my watch= PIN (security feature, makes sense) but then has worked seamlessly since and being an avid music fan having Spotify available on my wrist without any effort has been epic. Simple things like answering calls on my Ticwatch have been

The only one downfall, literally, the only ONE is that I would have like to have purchased the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra 4G version however it's tied to Vodafone OneNumber and my preferred network is EE. If there were more options available on that side I would have upgraded to the 4G version without doubt.

Overall, the best Smartwatch I have ever purchased. I do wonder how Mobvoi will bring a new model out as this watch genuinely ticks all the boxes I have ever needed.

I finally decided to take the plunge and get myself a smartwatch. Having looked at all the competition I settled on the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra and I am glad I did.

Packaging & shipping
The watch arrived promptly and securely thanks to a one time password being required before the courier would hand over the parcel to me which i was happy about. The watch arrived in a slick looking box and inside was the watch itself, manuals and charging cable.

Initial impressions
The watch is obviously very well engineered, not too heavy, excellent finishes on all surfaces and with a nice big screen. There is a quality feel to the watch, especially the black metal bezel with what i assume to be laser etched groves and numbers. The buttons are easily accessible and using them confers a feeling of refinement which I hoped to find. The supplied strap is just as good and i am pleased to find that it is swappable so should i need to change the look of the unit down the line I will be able to.

Setting up
Happily the watch was fully charged upon delivery so i didn't have to wait to play with it! As it's a WearOS device you have to go though setting it up with you Google account which was as painless as you'd expect. Once linked with your account and paired with your phone (I have an iPhone XS and had no issues) you get to start having fun.

Features
As it's a WearOS based device you have the standard Google apps to use and many more available to download on the play store. I won't cover that here as this is a review of the watch and not of Google's services.

In terms of the cusomtised Tic apps though there are plenty on offer. The watch has all the features you'd expect from a smart watch in terms of fitness activity monitoring, pulse rate monitoring, wellness apps etc but also has some premium features which aren't as common on other models, namely TicHearing (for ensuring ambient noise levels are not too high) but most impressively TicOxygen which actively measures your blood oxygen levels. Given the current pandemic this is a potentially life-saving feature which really makes this watch shine for me.

Display & Hardware
The display is large and bright but despite this battery life is conserved due to it having a dual display which cleverly allows you to see essential information without activating the main display. This is a smart innovation which no doubt contributes a lot to the impressive battery life (see below). The touch screen is responsive and has a nice refined feel to it, I've not had any missed or mis-clicks so far, what more can you ask?

Battery life
Decent battery life was a must have for me and the TicWatch doesn't disappoint, even with moderate use of the features it still keeps going for pretty much 72 hours straight before needing a charge. Obviously this varies depending on usage (e.g. if you use it to track a lot of fitness activities then expect to charge it more often) but even so the amount of power this thing has is impressive. Of course heavy use of the 4G/LTE features does drain the battery faster but if you make sure you use WiFi where available then it's easily manageable and more than worth it for the features available with....

...4G/LTE functionality
Fancy leaving your phone at home during a workout? No problem, the built in LTE/4G allows you to untether yourself from your phone but stay connected when out and about. Using the vodafone onenumber service you can make and receive calls on your current phone number without being anywhere near your actual phone, pretty slick. Of course you also have full internet access as well so this is a really great for peace of mind to know you're fully contactable and have access to all your email/text/whatsapp messages as well.

Overall
Yep, I'm happy. Great value for money and a fine quality smart watch!

I bought this off the back of owning the TicWatch S2 & the TicWatch Pro 2020. These days the older S2 isn't quite up to my needs as a "Fitness" watch (the battery doesn't last for 5 hour long mountain biking sessions when using the fitness features), so I wanted to swap my 2020 into my "Fitness" watch, the Pro 3 GPS (Bluetooth) seemed like the logical choice for my "good watch" :).

There are far more comprehensive reviews on here already so I'll keep mine short by comparison.

General Thoughts - This watch is awesome, it's fast, it's responsive, it's everything you could possibly want from a Smart Watch. The battery life is really impressive, the FSTN screen with a backlight is a stroke of genius (more below) and it's clearly built to last. When I bought this I also bought some tempered glass screen protectors (these ones: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08LPS2H5Y £7.88 for peace of mind was a no-brainer) as I hate the idea of scratching or damaging the watchface itself, the pictures I've posted (other than the unboxing ones) are all with the screen protector on, you can't really notice it at all and the watch still works perfectly.

Pros -
- The FSTN screen - The LCD screen on the previous "Pro" TicWatches was brilliant for battery life, but the FSTN screen takes this to the next level. I've turned off "tilt-to-wake" entirely, 90% of the time I look at my watch it's for the time and now it has a backlight I can get this at a glance without any impact on battery life.

- The battery life - This is probably massively helped by the screen, but it EASILY lasts 2 days (48 hours), with all of the bells and whistles turned on, I'm talking 24 hour heart & SP02 tracking, Stress tracking, Sleep as Android. Without that it would probably last 3 days but that isn't my use-case.

- The build is really nice, it's lighter than the Pro 2020 that I have, but still feels just as robust, which is probably really nice if you're looking to use this as a fitness watch

- The OS/Apps - Whilst the watch is running WearOS, there are obviously a load of TicWatch apps on there, all of them serve a good purpose and integrate with other services e.g. Google, so if you want a heavily 'Googley' experience you can still get it, but by using the TicWatch apps you get them in a way that's more optimised for the watch e.g. heart rate tracking, exercise sync-ing etc. (it even syncs to Strava for people that like that stuff).

- Interchangeability - This seems like a really small/pointless thing, but it's something I appreciate. I have a load of 3rd party (and TicWatch) watch straps from my other watches (S2 & Pro 2020) and they all fit this watch too, it means I can easily pick and choose what straps are on what.

Cons -
- I really wish I could find something I didn't like, but any minor niggles that I have are WearOS specific rather than related to this watch e.g. I'd love to have more than 5 tiles, I'd love for there to be more data-driven/interactive watch faces for google fit, none of these are Mobvoi's problem and certainly not an issue with the watch.
- The only 'bad' thing about this watch is that it's made me realise how slow/clunky my S2 is, again, not a fault of this watch, more of a complement of how excellent this watch is!

Overall, if you're looking for a comprehensive smart watch without breaking the bank this is the answer, it's got everything you need for not just for now, but its equipped with all the tech for the next generation of WearOS which is coming to TicWatch later in 2022.

Я рад сказать, что эти часы, похоже, есть все это, новейший процессор (Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100), 1 ГБ оперативной памяти, NFC для платежей, водонепроницаемость (хотя лично я всегда снимаю его, когда принимаю душ и т.д.).

I also own the Ticwatch GTH and in my pics you can see a comparison between the two. The Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra is larger but is still comfy and still looks good on my arm!

The new strap for the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra is great, has a nice feel and a great design. It looks stylish when worn with an outfit but is also practical for sports like in the gym. It also has Gorilla Glass 3 which when I go hiking is great and gives me peace of mind.

One of my favourite features is the fact it is a Wear OS enabled device, I can use apps like Spotify and control everything from my wrist. Another feature I love is the NFC capability. I am able to use my card on my wrist and not have to get my wallet out.

Whats new to the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra is the fact it can check for an Irregular heartbeat. This is great for anyone who wants an idea of their heart health. Overall, this is a great watch at a great price compared to other watches in the market!

I purchased the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS 4G LTE as a present for my husband, who was using an older version of the TicWatch. He had mentioned wanting to upgrade to a newer version so I surprised him with this! Most of this review will be based off his comments and experience of using the watch over the last week or so.

The box and packaging are very nicely designed with a premium feel. The contents are fairly minimal, with the watch itself, charger base, and some instructions. As far as the design of the actual watch itself, it is lovely. It has hard looking shiny materials on the bezel, with numbers around it. 2 hardware buttons on the side feel nice, and don’t seem to get in the way. The specification shows the screen as having gorilla glass, and the overall design is of a military grade so should be very hard wearing.

My husband said the watch felt nice and light, and was lighter than his previous version, and is very comfortable. The strap is a very nice-looking brown leather, or maybe leather effect? This adds to a fancier look, rather than a sporty design. But the straps are easily changed for any other 22mm strap. The underside of the leather strap has a very pleasing geometric pattern, which is a nice touch.

Powering on the watch, brings the screen to life. When in full smart mode the screen is clear, sharp, vibrant, and bright, and responds well to touch. It also has an "essential mode" which turns off the main screen and displays a power saving LCD type display with the basic information like time, date, steps etc.

The watch itself runs on Android Wear so it has access to Google store for apps. The included apps are quite plentiful though, with Phone, Calculator, Stopwatch and timers, Google Fit, Google Pay, all bundled as standard. My husband has used most of the apps in his day-to-day usage, especially Google Pay to make quick and easy purchases.

The other non-standard applications on offer are from TicWatch. The main one he has used is TicExercise to monitor exercise and dog walks etc. This combines a lot of the features, and gives a nice overview of exercise activities, steps, altitude, heart rate, blood oxygen, mental fatigue and more. There are also some other apps such as TicZen and TicHearing which are useful for mindfulness.

I was surprised that the battery was as strong as it is on this watch, as it was tracking so much from the above. 24 heart monitoring, blood oxygen, with extra heart health for irregular heartbeat detection and AFib, as well as sleep recording. The watch is consistently lasting 2 full days before needing a charge, and as the battery gets low it switches automatically into essential mode, which turns off most smart modes and only allows the LCD screen as mentioned before. This mode can also be used manually and will apparently last over 40 days in this mode.

When it comes to charging the watch, it sits nicely in the supplied USB charger dock, which is very small so great for travelling. it does not come with a USB plug, but these are so common these days it is normal for companies to not supply them.

An untested part of this so far, is the eSim functionality. By getting an eSim activated by Vodafone, you can have data on the watch without needing it to be tethered to a phone by Bluetooth/Wi-Fi. This would allow the watch to make and receive calls and texts totally by itself. He has no need for this function as of yet, but might be good for times when he wants to leave his phone at home.

All in all, he loves the watch and it was a great present :-)

I purchased this ticwatch as a gift for my teenage son. He previously had a Ticwatch GTH which he was very happy with when he first got it, but now he wants something with a few more bells and whistles. This one has a much bigger battery, and some key new features such as GPS and NFC as well as larger and nicer screen.

First impression when we opened it was that is looks like a quality unit. Aestetically, it is nice and chunky but not too heavy on the wrist. Once turned on, the screen was immeadiately noticable as it is very bright and sharp (esp compared to a Samsung Watch4 which my friend has). The features such as heart rate sensor and the exercise and sleep tracking shoudl make this a really useful addition. As it's running google wear, there are loads of apps too so really looking forward to trying out the endless options.

After around a week of use, feedback from my son is that he really likes it. Good battery life and loads of useful apps. Recommended!

I have had this smartwatch for almost a year,I bought it because I like its android operating system ( wear os ) and better battery life. But I can say that this watch is not worth it.
Twice my pedometer stopped working and I had to reset the whole operating system to get it working again.I had problems with some functions not working.
During this time it looks worn, I thought it would be more durable ,but maybe because I had before Huawei gt2 pro and after year was like new.I have not received any security updates during this time, you can see in the picture, I am still with 2021 October.
And the company promised wear os 3 by the end of this year, but nothing comes as an update.
In general, the watch works, but I am not satisfied and will not buy anything from this company again.

I have been a fan of wearable computing since my first smartwatch purchase 8 years ago. Surfacing information and interaction from a mobile phone without needing to draw it is incredibly useful in a busy life. My previous watch was the Ticwatch Pro and the new refresh of the Ticwatch 3 Pro exceeded my expectations in every way.
The standout feature of the Ticwatch line is the secondary screen. The primary 1.4" 455x455 AMOLED turns off and a more energy efficient LCD display comes online to show time, date and step count and battery level while reducing power consumption. This is what allows it to boast its impressive 45 day battery life. When you aren't actively using it, or just want to quickly check the time, the watch is draining minimal charge on its low power screen. The Ticwatch 3's Snapdragon processor has a great deal of processing power so the watch is incredibly responsive. It spins up to the full power screen at a touch and all of the menus are snappy and fluid to navigate (as demonstrated in videos featured in other reviews on this page). The Ultra model does not support its own 4G connection and requires a blutooth link to a smartphone for handling telephony, though it can connect to WiFi networks.
Contrasting the watch against its predecessor reveals a great number of improvements, the reduced bevel size makes the watch feel less bulky when worn under a shirt cuff. The secondary screen has been greatly enhanced allowing the date to be presented in US or UK format. My personal favourite feature is the full colour backlight allowing the low power screen to be clearly visible even in broad daylight, something which the original Ticwatch struggled with.
The Android Wear feature set is broad and covers a wide range of vital interactions, voice assistant, calendar, timing, etc. These core functions are enhanced by Mobvoi's suite of TicHealth applications which make great use of the biometric sensors built into the watch. Heartrate, blood oxygen, physical movement and barometer are all sampled to allow the watch to review and offer critique of your workout on the wrist. These sensors are all gated by privacy settings and can be turned off at will if one does not wish to be monitored at all times.
At present the watch runs Wear2.0 while 3.0 is exclusively distributed to another manufacturer, but in time the upgrade will be issued for the Ticwatch and I am confident that the powerhouse Snapdragon will be able to handle the increased functionality.
I have been using the watch since its delivery and the power claim is holding true, it will need its first full recharge tonight having provided 3 days of me using it excessively while experimenting with all its features. I am confident that it will manage a full workweek once I calm down and stop fidgeting with it every few seconds.
In conclusion, the Ticwatch 3 is a powerful and featureful portable terminal with fantastic uptime and a well supported software ecosystem. I do not have the luxury of comparing it against competitors but I have no regrets with my purchase at all and have reaffirmed my conviction that Mobvoi are my first brand to check when looking for my next watch.

This is an excellent smartwatch. Having previously owned a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, which was also great but after 2 years died on me, I originally purchased the Fossil Gen 6 to replace the Samsung, this was a poor choice with the battery life being awful and it just stopped working after 2 weeks which thankfully meant it was still able to returned and I swapped to the Ticwatch. I am so glad I was able to change as this as this is much better.

Design:
Looks great, nothing too fancy but you really appreciate the large screen with a small bezel , making text easy to read.
One thing I really appreciate is the weight, some may prefer more weight but as it's on your wrist all the time I do not want a really heavy watch.
The strap is fine, possibly not the highest quality but I've not really had any issues with it.

Functionality:
Like most Wear OS watches, this is easy to use and a straight forward set up. I have mine synced to Google Fit and MyfitnessPal, both work with no issues. I generally don't use the Mobvoi app, it has lots of watch faces on but I am more than happy with the ones provided. If you do want more you can simply access their app store to download.
The overlay used by Ticwatch over Wear OS is pretty light touch, having the main apps come up in a list with large icons to make it straight forward to select your chosen application.
They have loads of their own pre-loaded workouts and their own versions of apps, some I use but not that often. It's handy to have the options though.

Battery:
One of the most impressive parts, using the secondary display it allows you to get 3 days battery life. I have all the features turned on and on an average day I complete a walk using GPS and a strength type workout. This covers just over 2 hours of activities and then normal use of checking notifications, weather etc. Considering my previous Samsung lasted almost 2 days and the Fossil lasted less than a day, this is far superior and I would recommend this over any of those.

Charging:
To charge you have to use their specific charging cable which is okay but doesn't connect that tightly so can easily be knocked off. It would be nice if it had a dock but this is really not a major issue. It doesn't have a super fast charge but considering the amount of battery you get from it this is fine.

Overall:
I would recommend this smartwatch for anyone using an Android phone, looking to record their workouts, walks ,using it for checking notifications, weather etc and looking for excellent battery life, a simple interface and a lightweight, durable design.

I bought this watch as a nicer looking replacement for my Garmin Forerunner 35. Upon opening the box, I was really pleased with the build quality of the watch. It has a really nice weight and really does feel premium.
The watch software is very easy to use and comes with a bunch of useful health apps such as a health monitor, exercise tracker, sleep tracker etc, as well as Google health apps and many more available from the Play Store. The watch runs Android Wear OS 2.6. This means Strava is not supported, which is a shame, but the TicExercise and Google Fit Workout are good alternatives. The watch also has a number of really beautiful faces built in, plus the ability to get more from the Play Store.

Overall, this is a really good option for someone looking for a great-looking smartwatch with excellent health features. At time of writing, it's priced well for a premium smartwatch.
